I'm just encouraged this evening. 01:22 One of the reasons is because Jesus is alive and well and 01:26 despite all the chaos and everything happening in the 01:29 world, there is so much to be thankful for, 3ABN of course is 01:33 broadcasting around the world, sharing the everlasting gospel 01:37 with a lost and dying world. 01:39 You know, Jill, we have so much to be thankful for. 01:41 Our family that are right there, we can look at them, 01:44 it's almost like we can see you from right here in the 3ABN 01:47 living room set and it's because of their prayers and 01:50 continued financial support, your prayers and continued 01:53 financial support that we're able to reach the world at this 01:56 moment in earth's history. 01:58 It's no accident that this ministry is here right now 02:01 today and also you. 02:03 You are here for a reason and a purpose. 02:05 Never forget that. 02:06 But tonight's program, I'm excited, it's a one hour 02:08 program, really praising God for what he's doing. 02:10 A lot of things happening here at 3ABN. 02:12 Absolutely. 02:16 proclaims this everlasting gospel. 02:18 You know, what an opportunity we have in these closing 02:23 moments of earth's history to be able to present the truth in 02:27 the Word of God, to be able to uplift Christ, our 02:31 righteousness and to be consistent with the message 02:34 that we've presented from the television station that would 02:42 reach the world with the undiluted Three Angels 02:44 messages, one that would counteract the counterfeit and 02:48 3ABN continues to proclaim that biblical message. 02:51 We can go and grow and share that. 02:54 And tonight we have our family here, Mr. Danny and Dr. Yvonne, 02:57 Mom and Dad. 02:58 Glad to be here. 03:00 Yeah, great to be here. 03:01 We School of 04:44 Discipleship. 04:44 Hi, Pastor James. 04:46 Hi there, everyone. 04:47 Good to be here with you this evening. 04:49 Looking forward to God's blessings. 04:51 Amen. 04:54 It's been a busy year already. 04:55 It has indeed. 04:55 He was just here. 04:56 We did the Sabbath School panel last week. 04:58 So, absolutely. 04:59 Talking about that, before we get into some of the other 05:01 topics tonight, tell us about the Sabbath School panel. 05:03 What's the topic? 05:04 It's Exodus. 05:05 So, this is third quarter and we did, it was a marathon 05:08 recording. 05:09 Usually we do the 13 programs in four days. 05:12 We did it in three, so it was kind of busy. 05:15 Pastor John and Johnny and Pastor James. 05:17 It was whiplash. 05:20 I think, Pastor, you said that one of the days you were on 05:22 for, was it five consecutive? 05:24 Five, yeah, five in one day. 05:25 That's intense. 05:26 It was endurance, but we endured. 05:27 It was like the children as you were coming out. 05:29 It was in Exodus for us. 05:31 Well, what a great topic because we don't study Exodus. 05:34 There's some great lessons to be learned. 05:36 Yeah, a lot of it was covered, but there's so much in that 05:39 book. 05:43 there. 05:46 takes us to. 05:47 Yeah, no, absolutely. 05:48 No, praise God for that. 05:49 You know, I want to talk just briefly, Mr. Danny, talking 05:51 about that message. 05:54 of minutes ago before we talk about the three of you being 05:56 camp meeting. 05:57 But that is just thinking about that message, Mr. Danny. 05:58 You know, I know you've told Jill and myself through the 06:01 years that the reason God continues to bless this 06:03 ministry is because three of you is not deviated from the 06:06 message that God has given to us. 06:08 And that message, of course, is from the Word of God. 06:10 So, you know, three of you being going forward, that's 06:12 critical, right, that we stay and stick to the Bible and what 06:15 God is telling us. 06:16 Otherwise, how can he bless? 06:17 So it's important. 06:21 important, not the messenger. 06:23 And messengers come and go. 06:24 And we've seen it here. 06:26 You've seen it at your churches. 06:28 You've seen it, you know, around. 06:30 Messengers come and go. 06:31 But the message of God is here and it's everlasting. 06:35 That's why we love giving the everlasting gospel, as you 06:38 said, Jill, because it's everlasting that think about 06:42 that God loves us. 06:44 You can say God loves me. 06:45 It's OK. 06:46 It's not selfish. 06:47 God loves me. 06:50 no one loves you, you can say Jesus loves me. 06:54 God loves me. 06:55 Jesus loves me. 06:56 This I know for the Bible tells me so. 06:59 And so that message is everlasting. 07:02 And we get that. 07:03 We have the privilege and responsibility of giving that 07:07 message to the entire world before Jesus comes back, 07:11 because Satan is like a roaring lion seeking those whom he may 07:15 devour. 07:15 Right. 07:19 elect. 07:24 say, oh, well, we're part of the elect because we know this 07:27 and we know that. 07:28 And all the time we're so proud of being the elect, the devil's 07:31 coming in the back door working on us and we don't even know 07:34 it. 07:39 and ask God to help us continue. 07:42 So thank you for those of you who continue to support 3Abram 07:46 prayerfully and financially as we continue to take this 07:50 undiluted three angels messages into all the world. 07:53 Amen. 07:54 Well said. 07:55 And talking about messages, I'm thinking about camp meeting, 07:58 right? 08:01 preparing to proclaim the final cry. 08:03 That's the theme for this year's summer camp meeting, 08:06 which Pastor John, I know you're going to talk about 08:08 that, but the dates for that are June 4 through 7. 08:11 Yes, June 4 through 7, 2025, an illustrious outlay. 08:15 Look at the lineup. 08:16 I know. 08:18 No, I'm not. 08:19 I'm just there. 08:20 I know I'm there. 08:22 Thank you for asking, but, you know, that's not really one of 08:24 my gifts. 08:26 No, that's not. 08:27 You know what? 08:29 That's not really one of mine. 08:30 I'd probably stumble and mumble along, but I do enjoy meeting 08:34 each one of you, getting up and sharing about what God is doing 08:36 through the ministry of 3Abram. 08:38 I love camp meeting because of the fellowship aspect, and we 08:41 know many of you cannot come here in person. 08:43 That's OK. 08:47 satellite, however you get 3Abram. 08:49 But if you can come in person, please come, because there is 08:53 going to be an enormous blessing from the Holy Spirit. 08:57 Talk to us a little bit about it. 08:59 cry. 09:02 going forward, through the context of the everlasting 09:05 gospel, those three angels' messages, which is what 3Abram 09:07 exists for, counteracting the counterfeit. 09:09 We have guests like Pavel LaGoya, Chris Hudson. 09:13 You know, the truth is the truth, believe it or not. 09:15 He should coin that and sell some shirts. 09:17 But Dr. James Markham, always interesting. 09:20 Carlos Muñoz, I call him the energizer bunny from Amazing 09:25 Facts. 09:28 he's a godly man. 09:29 I love that. 09:30 And David Shin, humble but always ready and solid. 09:35 He's never mushy. 09:37 He's always solid in the Word, and a number of others, those 09:40 who are here. 09:41 So come to that. 09:42 If you cannot Camp Meeting because it's a 11:21 family atmosphere. 11:23 And I know people come from all over the world. 11:25 We just received a message from someone that we met in 11:28 Australia or New Zealand last year. 11:30 Tasmania. 11:31 Yeah, they live in Tasmania. 11:33 So they're traveling over and they're actually coming a few 11:36 weeks early or a few days early to volunteer here. 11:39 So yes, we do appreciate volunteers here at 3ABN. 11:42 We have a lot of Bible studies, Dr. Yvonne, for the prisons 11:45 that have to be put together and collated here. 11:47 So if you want to come a little bit early, Jill, they should 11:50 call also for that, right? 11:51 So we know they're coming early. 11:53 It would be the same number? 11:54 Same number. 11:56 618-627-4651. 11:58 You can see that number on the bottom of your screen. 12:00 But we just look forward to, of course, spending that time 12:03 together. 12:06 together, see each other face to face. 12:08 We can pray together, open the Word together, something really 12:12 special about that. 12:16 You all have told us so and we used to have one a year. 12:19 And then it's like, man, these are just so, we're so blessed, 12:23 spiritually blessed. 12:24 Can we have it more often? 12:25 So we've been having two camp meetings, which is a lot of 12:29 time, a lot of effort, a lot of work, a lot of expense. 12:32 But we feel like it's worth it because that's our, again, our 12:36 privilege to get the Gospel to the world. 12:38 But it's also to meet people individually. 12:40 And so that's why we love, we're going to churches, you're 12:43 saying all of us in different places and we're able to meet 12:46 people. 12:49 when we go home, we look through the glass, we don't 12:52 just see camera, we see you from where we just were and 12:56 talk to you, so many of the folks there. 12:58 So it's a water blessing. 13:01 Amen. 13:02 It's such an anointing that we sense with camp meetings and 13:06 just being here in person. 13:08 And it's great for us too. 13:10 I mean, we're in ministry, but we need our spirits watered as 13:12 well. 13:16 Lord gives our speakers and the music and it's just a blessing. 13:20 So if you can come, please do, please come. 13:24 And if you can't, please watch. 13:26 That's right. 13:30 you know, talking about proclaiming the final cry, 13:33 preparing for proclaiming the final Let's talk about our School of Discipleship. 13:46 Okay, good. 13:49 Pastor James, of course, is Serbian Director of 13:51 Discipleship, but he also coordinates for our School of 13:55 Discipleship. 13:56 And Ian, of course, is his assistant there. 13:58 But we have an upcoming school in October. 14:02 Now, this is like a camp meeting on steroids, I guess. 14:06 A week long intensive studying the Bible. 14:09 So Ian, why don't you talk to us about that and then we'll 14:12 get Pastor James to share as well. 14:13 Yeah, I am just so excited because it's been a little 14:16 while since we've had the School of Discipleship. 14:18 So now we have one coming. 14:19 It's going to be October 24th through November 2nd. 14:23 So make sure you put that on your calendars. 14:24 October 24th through November 2nd. 14:27 And the School of Discipleship is just an absolute blessing 14:31 just to be a part of it. 14:32 But to see the transformation in just those 10 days and what 14:35 happens in many of the students that come here. 14:38 You know, often I have seen some individuals come and 14:41 they're just looking for, you know, what's next? 14:43 What am I supposed to do? 14:44 Where do I fit in ministry? 14:46 And God reveals it to them. 14:48 And I've seen, you know, individuals leave here and 14:50 become lay pastors and speakers. 14:51 Some have done evangelistic series after coming here and 14:54 it's just really ignited them. 14:56 And others have come here just looking for, you know, what, 14:59 3BN? 15:02 come here looking for that. 15:03 They're wanting to experience, you know, God in a different 15:07 way. 15:09 world and, you know, the busyness of life and they're 15:12 just like, I need to put things aside and I need to put God 15:15 first. 15:18 Praise God. 15:19 going to be a part of it and he has a class 16:01 that's called From Information to Transformation because we 16:04 have all the information. 16:05 We have the truths in this church but where's the heart 16:09 part of it? 16:10 The transformative part of it. 16:12 And we need to understand that as well that that word needs to 16:15 transform us and then we need to impart that on others as 16:18 well to make sure they are being transformed by the word 16:21 and it's not just information overload. 16:24 Some of the other classes that we're going to have is 16:27 doctrines and apologetics. 16:29 We're also going to have a health class with Reese 16:31 Rafferty and who else is going to be speaking? 16:34 Oh, and we also have a newcomer Pastor Ryan Johnson who's going 16:38 to be teaching evangelism as well. 16:40 So within these 10 days there is a lot that goes into it. 16:43 We give you a lot of information. 16:45 Things to take home with you. 16:46 Little goodies that you can take change 17:18 your life. 17:22 Study School that launched me into ministry learning how to 17:25 study the Bible, how to study prophecy, how to use the 17:28 concordance, how to look up the Greek and the Hebrew. 17:30 It absolutely changed my Christian walk with God. 17:34 Secondly, I met my wife at one of these schools. 17:38 I was actually a teacher of how to study the Bible and Risi was 17:41 well because we 19:11 do provide nice, wholesome vegetarian meals for breakfast 19:15 and for lunch, but you are responsible for your own 19:18 supper, but we do provide that as well. 19:20 So the There's still a lot of space available. 20:16 But you're more than, you know, 35 is where we kind of leave 20:18 our cap. 20:20 And the reason we do that is because there's really great 20:22 one -on-one time. 20:23 And that's a really powerful aspect of 3AVN School of 20:27 Discipleship. 20:29 there's one-on-one time with the instructors because there's 20:32 so much going on in the world. 20:33 There's so many questions like, wow, I don't quite understand 20:37 this, or what about that? 20:38 There's actually time to talk to Pastor James, Pastor John, 20:41 and others, you two, Ian, and others. 20:43 So to me that's a really powerful time, one-on-one time 20:46 of Bible study and prayer. 20:48 It's a great aspect. 20:49 I really think that's what sets this program apart from others. 20:51 Not that we're any better than anyone else because each 20:54 ministry, each schooling has their own purpose. 20:57 But one of the things that I really love is how all of the 21:00 instructors have intentionally set aside a time that after 21:03 class hours from 6 to 9, we open up our schedule to have 21:07 those one-on-one discipleship sessions. 21:09 And that's, I've seen where in those sessions as well, people 21:14 have really come to know Jesus or those answers that they were 21:17 looking for was in those moments. 21:19 And it was just a real blessing to be a part Ryan and each member of 21:32 the team. 21:35 Pastor James, about the school or anything on your heart 21:38 regarding that? 21:40 Yeah, I really believe that we are living in a time when we 21:43 need to be students of the Word of God. 21:44 And we do cover some subjects, some difficult texts and 21:47 difficult doctrines in the class that I think would really 21:51 be a blessing to so many people, especially if you're, 21:54 again, new, just in your walk with the Lord, young in the 21:57 faith. 22:01 this, that coming to this school can help you to go out 22:05 and share with others, to carry on outside in ministry, in 22:10 discipleship ministry, what you're learning in the school. 22:12 So it will enable you to actually get into ministry and 22:15 do ministry in your local church absolutely. 22:44 Wow, with these one hour behind the scenes programs that go by 22:46 in a hurry, what should we touch on next, Jill? 22:49 Well, let's talk about Canada. 22:50 We just came back from the Canada Rally, so you all want 22:53 to start with that. 22:56 want to share about our experience in Toronto with our 22:59 brothers and sisters? 22:59 The Filipino Church. 23:01 The church was just, the people were wonderful, just so warm 23:05 and caring, and they just made sure that everything we needed, 23:09 we had, and they were just so loving. 23:13 What a loving church. 23:15 It was really a wonderful experience. 23:19 And they just, it's like, they just kept giving. 23:21 They fed us. 23:23 Oh my goodness. 23:24 Yes, they did. 23:25 Good cooks. 23:27 Yes, there was so much food, and from the time we got there 23:33 until even after the program, we have something for you. 23:38 It was just so, so precious. 23:40 So, thank you so much to the Toronto Filipino Church for 23:45 what you did. 23:46 You just loved on us, and we love you back. 23:49 Absolutely. 23:50 And John, you would have loved it. 23:51 They literally a week in advance, built a sound system 23:56 for a wall and put it back, and literally brought in all the 24:01 equipment. 24:02 Sound was excellent. 24:03 They came on Friday afternoon when we got there. 24:06 There were like people everywhere, and they were all 24:09 working. 24:13 They were preparing. 24:14 I mean, it was like, I don't know if I've seen for that size 24:17 of church, so many people working, and so excited about 24:21 the programs, and then the support that they gave. 24:25 You know, because honestly, when you're in the Lord's work, 24:27 a lot of people say, especially here on TV, and they'll say, 24:30 Oh, that must be nice. 24:32 And, you know, John, everybody loves you. 24:34 You know, you're just on TV. 24:36 And, Ian, you know, Greg and Jill, well, we find out during 24:39 the week, of course, if everybody loves you, you need 24:41 to be worried because all who live godly shall suffer 24:49 persecutions. 24:50 That wasn't an edit thing. 24:52 That would be doing that over and over. 24:54 So, everybody's not going to love you. 24:56 So, we get all of these, no matter what we do or say, every 24:59 one of us here get emails that, Oh, I don't like this about 25:02 you, and I don't like this, and you shouldn't. 25:05 So, it's nice to go into a group where the people who 25:08 came, and some traveled, Jill, from distances where they come 25:13 and say, We love 3ABN. 25:15 It's had an impact. 25:16 It's changed our lives. 25:17 Some of them have literally accepted Jesus, was baptized 25:22 into the church, and it's good to be around that, to see how 25:27 many people, and you say, Wow, what an impact. 25:29 You know, 3ABN, you don't really, sometimes we realize it 25:32 here, until you travel around the world, and everywhere you 25:35 go, you see it too, and you'll tell us about it, but I'm sure 25:39 in a few minutes, but it's had an impact around the world, but 25:42 we go there, and we're impacted, and we're blessed. 25:45 So, it was a wonderful, wonderful meetings there, and 25:49 they're literally packed to the church, and I mean, great 25:51 services, and it's fun to work with you all, too. 25:54 We got to work together. 25:56 Brother Tim Parton was there as well. 25:58 Yes, and Craig and Donna Cleveland, directors of 3ABN 26:01 Canada, and they did a great job, too. 26:04 Just wonderful to be together. 26:05 I think we have some pictures. 26:07 Let's see if we put them 26:33 I know that the church members were in the overflow, because 26:35 the pastor said, let the visitors sit in the sanctuary. 26:39 So, the church members went to the overflow. 26:41 It was indeed. 26:43 Absolutely. 26:44 Beautiful music. 26:46 Yes. 26:49 So, that was a blessing. 26:50 Danny spoke for church. 26:52 Incredible message. 26:53 Miracles from God. 26:54 Tim doing music and his thing at the piano. 26:57 Just such a blessing. 26:59 That's a lot of the leadership team there. 27:02 There's Pastor Raul Malabrigo and his wife, Sister Millette. 27:07 Wonderful people. 27:08 On the right is Elder Chetty Williams. 27:11 He's an elder there in communication, and he was the 27:14 one who initially reached out to us about that. 27:16 The Pathfinders out in force, just helping and doing their 27:21 thing. 27:23 Not all the people who came, but just the church members 27:25 there. 27:26 They said, oh, we got to get a picture together. 27:28 And they carved that with a watermelon. 27:31 You can see 3ABN and the logo carved in there. 27:35 It was. 27:36 It was so beautiful. 27:38 They did such a great job. 27:40 So, people came in, as you referenced, they flew in from 27:44 across Canada. 27:45 There was a whole church, a whole group of people. 27:48 I don't know how many came in from Montreal, which would be, 27:51 what, seven hours away from Toronto. 27:54 And one lady flew in from Belize. 27:58 So just, we're so grateful for the Toronto Pilipino Church. 28:03 And each member of the 3ABN family there in Canada, what a 28:07 privilege to get to know you and to spend time together and 28:10 to hear how this ministry is impacting people's lives all 28:14 around the world. 28:15 That is true on the impact. 28:17 I talked to a couple that during COVID, because of the 28:20 lockdowns, they were locked down, so to speak, to their 28:23 home. 28:24 And they found 3ABN during COVID. 28:27 So they said, in spite of all the tragedy with COVID, they 28:30 said, we're thankful because God used that. 28:32 We were at home. 28:33 We couldn't go anywhere. 28:34 We found 3ABN by divine appointment. 28:36 That's right, Annie. 28:37 Right? 28:40 They attended some of the people that came from the 28:42 Montreal Church over to visit with us there in Toronto. 28:46 So what a blessing. 28:47 You know, again, we tell you these stories and to us, this 28:50 is what Behind the Scenes is all about, is telling you about 28:53 the miracles that are taking place because of the ministry 28:56 of 3ABN. 28:57 And it's for you. 28:59 We're trying to tell you these things to give honor and glory 29:01 to Jesus Christ, but to encourage you as well. 29:03 Because so many of you sacrifice. 29:05 I know many of you write us letters. 29:08 We still receive a lot of letters in the office here and 29:10 of course emails and on social media where you say, we're 29:13 praying for you. 29:14 We're praying for you. 29:15 I go back to the lady last year who anonymously I talked to 29:19 her. 29:20 I couldn't look her phone number up when I did. 29:22 It just, I couldn't see who it was attached to. 29:24 But she said, Greg, she says, there will be shaky times 29:27 ahead. 29:28 This was late last year, right? 29:29 She said, Greg, there will be shaky times ahead. 29:32 But Greg, have unshakable faith in God. 29:36 It made such a profound impact on me that I wrote it on a 29:38 little sticky note and I looked at it again yesterday, right? 29:40 Because things around us can kind of seem chaotic at times. 29:43 That sticky note is right there beside my computer monitor and 29:45 it says, anonymous, have unshakable faith in God. 29:49 I don't know who this dear lady is but she said, this was last 29:52 year she said, have faith in God, my son. 29:55 She's like a mom. 29:56 She's my young man. 29:57 She said, have faith in God, have faith in God. 29:59 So right, we can hang on to Jesus Christ. 30:02 You know, so many times I think about Christ in that boat, 30:05 right? 30:09 and the disciples were in the boat and they became afraid and 30:12 Jesus was sleeping in the boat. 30:14 Praise God, those disciples didn't dive off the boat, 30:16 right? 30:19 Remember that. 30:20 Stay on the ship with Jesus. 30:23 Whatever storms and chaos is going around you, family, 30:26 theology, whatever it is, stay in the boat with Jesus. 30:31 Look to Jesus, right? 30:32 Do not get discouraged. 30:35 We talked about the beginning of this program. 30:37 We have so much to be thankful for. 30:38 We have so much to be encouraged about. 30:40 One is, we have the Word of God. 30:42 We hear from people where they're trying to find or 30:45 they're watching 3ABN undercover because of the 30:47 persecution that's going on. 30:49 They're so thankful for bits and pieces of the scripture 30:51 because they're not allowed to have a Bible. 30:53 We have so much. 30:55 Let's not take it for granted. 30:56 We have so much. 30:58 So while there's time, let's continue to proclaim the final 31:02 cry. 31:03 We only got 26 minutes left. 31:06 Greg had a couple of people. 31:08 One man said that he had been raised in the church and been a 31:12 Christian and he left for years, many, many years. 31:16 He said, I was headed down a terrible path. 31:18 I got into everything that I shouldn't have. 31:21 And he said, I don't know where he lives, but it's in Canada. 31:26 And he said, I had tuned in. 31:28 I was able to watch 3ABN. 31:29 We gave my life to the Lord. 31:31 It had been a couple of years now. 31:33 So he had to be there. 31:35 He said, I had to be there to see everybody and to let you 31:38 know. 31:41 rope, didn't know what to do and felt like just throwing in 31:45 the towel, giving up on life. 31:47 And I was driving my truck and I just said, Lord, help me. 31:51 You have to help me. 31:52 And he said, by the time he got home, he said, I turned on my 31:58 TV and there was 3ABN. 32:00 So he said, that's totally changed. 32:03 I knew the Lord sent a message and I don't remember what 32:06 particular message, but the Lord sent a message to whoever 32:09 was speaking that he said, I rededicated my life to Jesus or 32:14 dedicated it. 32:15 And so now he's happy, excited. 32:18 So those are the kind of people when you travel that you look 32:22 forward to meeting and come up and say, thank you for what you 32:25 do for the cause of God. 32:26 And we realize it's not us, it's the Holy Spirit. 32:30 But that lives are being changed and for the better all 32:33 because of you. 32:35 And thank you again. 32:36 It's without your love and your prayers and financial support, 32:40 we wouldn't be able to continue to broadcast around the world. 32:44 Before we go to the next point, I just want to mention as far 32:47 as talking about final cry, it's so 33:33 important that we know what we believe during these closing 33:37 moments of our history. 33:38 So Pastor John, talk to us about a new series coming up 33:41 this summer that you will be doing, counteracting the 33:44 counterfeit. 33:45 And by the way, I need to... 33:46 That phrase, I've never heard it before. 33:50 You know, Pastor John, how many years have you been here? 33:52 That just came to me. 33:54 It was an epiphany one day. 33:55 Oh no, Mr. Danny. 33:56 Loaning tile. 33:58 Thank you, Danny, for that tile. 33:59 I think that the whole existence of 3ABN is sustained 34:03 by the Lord for that reason. 34:05 I don't think that we would be here as long as we have been 34:07 privileged to be a part of it, going on 22 years now, that if 34:12 3ABN was not dedicated to counteracting the counterfeit. 34:16 And as a pastor for the Adventist Church, as well as 34:19 working with 3ABN, we have seen the Church on a world scale. 34:24 60-something countries later, we see the battles around the 34:27 world. 34:31 American Division that covers 13 major areas where the Church 34:35 on the world scale is being challenged. 34:37 But over the last four or five years ago, four or five years, 34:40 I've seen developing in America, not just America, but 34:45 Australia and different parts of the world, doctrinal issues 34:47 that for my psyche, I've been asking myself, honestly, are we 34:53 doubting that? 34:54 And it's not the Church specifically. 34:56 I'm not talking about the General Conference. 34:58 We're not changing our views as a Church. 35:00 But in different pockets, certain doctrines are being 35:03 challenged. 35:08 for that, I mean, sorry, August. 35:10 It's a counteract, counterfeit. 35:12 I'm addressing seven of the major areas that the Church is 35:15 being, when I say Church, once again, I want to qualify that, 35:18 members in the Church. 35:19 Let me just say something about the Church. 35:21 There are those who don't know what the word Church means. 35:23 And they think that, well, you know, the Adventists believe 35:26 they are the Church. 35:27 Well, the Church is in two conditions, wheat and tear. 35:30 But the Church will not fall. 35:32 There are those who think, well, the Church is going to 35:33 fall, look at all the problems that's happening. 35:35 You know, Jesus said, upon this rock I build my Church, and the 35:37 gates of hell will not prevail against it. 35:39 So wherever you are, God is gathering his people, other 35:42 sheep I have that are not of this foal. 35:45 But the gathering will not be effective if we all of a sudden 35:47 become uncertain in our views. 35:51 The trumpet has to have a certain sound. 35:53 You can't just, you know, the Lord says, blow the trumpet in 35:56 Zion. 35:58 You use a trumpet. 36:00 When the doctrines are not clear, you're using the wrong 36:02 instrument. 36:03 And so, for example, the literal week of creation, I 36:06 never thought that would be questioned among those who keep 36:08 the Sabbath. 36:09 But somewhere in some of our institutions, evolution and 36:13 creation have found their shaking hands and people are 36:17 now beginning to doubt whether or not creation actually was 36:20 seven literal days. 36:22 That's the first one. 36:24 And then this one really threw me, Danny, and all of our 36:27 guests here on the table, not guest family, the pre-existing 36:32 eternal Jesus. 36:34 And either you believe He was in the beginning was the Word 36:38 and the Word was with God and the Word was God. 36:39 He was either, He's either the creator or the creator. 36:42 He can't be both. 36:43 You cannot redeem those you don't create. 36:45 And you cannot redeem yourself if you're a part of the 36:48 creation. 36:53 And the other one reminds me of the problem that Stephen had 36:56 just before he was stoned. 36:58 I think it's in Acts chapter 7, where Stephen said to the 37:01 Pharisees, you resist the Holy Spirit as your fathers did. 37:06 So we're talking about the Holy Spirit, the third person of the 37:09 Godhead. 37:10 Either He is divine or He isn't divine. 37:12 Either He is the third person of the Godhead or He isn't. 37:15 So we're dealing with that in all the accoutrements of the 37:18 arguments that come along with it. 37:19 Then the 2300 days in the sanctuary. 37:21 Does the Bible speak about the 2300 days? 37:24 Is it literal or is it symbolic? 37:25 And how does it fit into the sanctuary message? 37:27 We're going to talk about that. 37:28 And by the way, we're not re -teaching the doctrines. 37:31 What this series is, is showing why the Adventist Church 37:34 believes and embraces these teachings. 37:36 We're not re-teaching it. 37:37 The Church is solid on this. 37:39 But people have brought up questions that say, well, what 37:41 about this? 37:42 What about that? 37:43 And you know, I honestly need to say you've got to be 37:46 grounded before you stop meandering in the maze of 37:48 mediocrity. 37:49 So the 2300 days in the sanctuary. 37:51 Then the fifth one is the pre -Advent investigative judgment. 37:55 Is there a pre-Advent judgment or isn't there? 37:58 1 Peter 4, 17. 37:59 The time has come for a judgment at the beginning of 38:01 the house of God. 38:01 What is that all about? 38:03 We're going to talk about that. 38:04 Then salvation is now becoming an issue. 38:06 With this love reality movement, people saying one 38:08 saved, always saved. 38:10 It's not even an Adventist version. 38:11 It's a demonic version of salvation. 38:14 Salvation is grace filled from the beginning to the end. 38:16 The ark is grace. 38:18 The grace of God is the delivering grace of God. 38:21 I talk about this. 38:22 I'm doing a series actually at our church. 38:23 We're going to tune in on a Sabbath morning. 38:25 God's grace is the first part. 38:27 Grace is the salvation from the penalty of sin. 38:29 That's grace. 38:31 The transforming grace is the second part. 38:32 Salvation from the power of sin. 38:35 Then the sealing grace is salvation from the presence of 38:37 sin. 38:39 So we're not pursuing perfection. 38:41 We're pursuing Jesus. 38:42 So don't think you're pursuing perfection. 38:44 You can't be perfect on any day. 38:46 The moment you say you're perfect, you cease to be. 38:48 So we're talking about what is salvation? 38:50 Justification and sanctification. 38:51 Because glorification doesn't mean there's no more sin. 38:54 Finally, the role of Ellen White. 38:56 This is a repetitive process. 38:58 I was attacked on this before I was an Adventist. 39:01 Thank God I knew and I studied enough. 39:03 When I became a pastor the first year, I was attacked on 39:05 this. 39:06 I understand the role of Ellen White. 39:07 Ellen White is not on par with the Bible. 39:10 She doesn't say she was. 39:11 She never intended to be. 39:13 Some people take her writings out of context and put her 39:15 above the Bible. 39:17 Some people say she's infallible. 39:18 That's not the case. 39:19 Ellen White is copied from other authors. 39:22 She makes that clear. 39:23 So we're going to talk about what is the role of Ellen White 39:25 and why does the Adventist Church believe that her gift is 39:28 instrumental. 39:29 We don't use her gift to convert people. 39:32 You don't get converted to Ellen White. 39:33 Ellen White is not our savior. 39:35 But her council has a particular place. 39:36 So we're going to talk about that. 39:38 So it's called Counteracting the Counterfeit. 39:40 Thank you for the title, Danny. 39:42 And we're going to also not have just the program but we're 39:45 going to have a half hour segment after the program. 39:48 We're going to have guests that are going to be responding to 39:51 questions. 39:54 input. 39:56 can put your questions in. 39:58 In the last 30 minutes, we're going to have different guest 40:00 people that are going to be Skyped in, different 40:04 individuals that are going to be responding to the questions 40:07 along with me. 40:08 We want to be as candid as we possibly can now. 40:11 We're not going to be reteaching the doctrines. 40:13 Simply saying this is why the Adventist Church embraces the 40:17 doctrines. 40:20 the counterfeits because these that are being torn apart are 40:23 being done by counterfeit doctrines. 40:26 So we have to remain firm on that. 40:28 So that's what's coming up. 40:29 And by the way, we're doing this right now on Wednesday 40:31 nights at our church. 40:32 We're filtering it out in our online it's so important that we're grounded in the Word. 41:03 That we know what we believe. 41:05 That we know why we believe it. 41:07 And that we know that we can teach that to someone else. 41:10 So it's really important to be biblically grounded. 41:13 You know, in talking about teaching it to someone else, 41:15 Jill, I see these Bible study guides right under your Bible. 41:17 Do you want to God and share 42:59 that with others. 43:01 3ABN is all about evangelism so we want to help you. 43:03 So talking about evangelism, Pastor Johnny, you were there 43:06 in Guatemala with some evangelism, correct? 43:09 Yes, we received an invitation to go to Totonicapan, 43:13 Guatemala. 43:15 And we arrived in Guatemala, Guatemala. 43:18 It's the city, the capital city. 43:21 And you know, I just want to say this that 3ABN has a 43:25 presence in Guatemala. 43:27 It was amazing. 43:28 And I'm going to say this just to show the coverage because we 43:32 arrived in Guatemala as we were going through the airport. 43:35 Somebody recognized Idalia and another Seventh-day Adventist. 43:40 And we were like, wow, praise the Lord. 43:42 And then of course when you're flying on these planes you miss 43:46 your lunch time and you're on different schedules. 43:48 It goes thrown out on a wagon. 43:52 So we had another three and a half hours of driving so they 43:55 decided to stop and eat. 43:57 And they're in a restaurant. 43:58 Two ladies again recognized us and we go through a market and 44:05 people recognize us again. 44:07 And we're not talking about everybody but you know the 44:11 understanding that some people are because not everybody 44:15 watches 3ABN. 44:16 We hope they do. 44:18 We were recognized in so many different places that we say 44:21 3ABN is recognized. 44:23 It shows that the message is going out. 44:27 And so we just praise the Lord for the opportunity. 44:30 We were there from the 5th to the 12th of April. 44:34 And we were told this is not a reaping crusade. 44:39 This is like a planting. 44:41 You're planting seeds. 44:42 Because we were actually invited by a church that has 44:44 about 16 members. 44:45 A brand new church. 44:46 Can you use the word brand new to say church? 44:48 Brand new church. 44:50 A brand new church. 44:51 16 members that they kind of just selected them from 44:54 different congregations to say we want this to be a church 44:58 that reaches the school. 45:00 The conference has a very strong school. 45:03 There are over 400 students. 45:05 And so it was held in the school. 45:08 So the children had opportunities to participate. 45:11 And we'll see that in a moment in a video. 45:14 We have some video. 45:16 And so still yet I wondered is there anybody out there that 45:22 maybe they haven't given their hearts to the Lord. 45:25 We were supposed to be planting. 45:26 Somebody out there must be must be ready to make a decision for 45:30 Jesus for baptism. 45:32 Of course we had a lot of people say they wanted to 45:34 recommit their lives. 45:35 So we were still like Lord do we make appeals for baptisms or 45:39 not? 45:45 people decided that they wanted to to get ready for baptism. 45:49 And so we praise the Lord for that. 45:52 We do want to show the video if we can do that now. 45:54 I'll talk through it. 45:56 The name of the series is Decide for Jesus. 46:01 Decide for Jesus. 46:02 And so this was hosting the program. 46:06 It was broadcast on the local TV and radio that was owned by 46:11 the conference. 46:12 And these are the children participating. 46:14 Every night they came in and they sang. 46:16 Every night they also came in and would have a clever way of 46:21 telling people welcome. 46:23 Welcome to this night of experience. 46:27 There was participation also of the children in the upper 46:30 grades. 46:36 they were hearing. 46:37 These are the children singing. 46:38 They're members of the school and some of the members, some 46:42 of the children. 46:44 It was very cute. 46:45 Very cute. 46:46 All their participation. 46:48 And some of the parents that have their kids in the school 46:52 are not members of the Seventh day Adventist Church. 46:54 So they were there because they wanted to see their children 46:57 participate. 47:00 And so this is one of the little dramas they did to 47:03 illustrate a bible story that went along with the series. 47:08 And so they were excited to be a part of it. 47:12 They were excited to be a part of it. 47:13 They were groups singing quartets. 47:16 They were even soloists that were participating. 47:19 And of course it was a tremendous blessing to see the 47:23 people come. 47:25 And interestingly enough we didn't ask them but we heard at 47:28 least two songs from Pillars of Our Faith that they sang. 47:33 And so we just praised the Lord. 47:35 That music has really impacted society. 47:38 I mean the Seventh day Adventists and people all over 47:40 the world. 47:41 And so this particular lady had a beautiful voice. 47:43 We're sorry we're not going to let you listen to her but a 47:46 beautiful voice. 47:47 Beautiful talent. 47:48 Great talent for the Lord. 47:49 Dedicating their lives. 47:50 And one of the things that really touched us was there 47:53 were a lot of young people as members of the church. 47:57 A lot of young people. 47:59 A good attendance. 48:00 We had some people come from other cities because of 3ABN. 48:06 And we had a chance to be the conference president came to 48:11 the evangelistic campaign. 48:12 The mayor of the city came and the governor also came to the 48:16 evangelistic campaign. 48:19 Lord. 48:21 So we praise the Lord for the opportunity to preach the 48:26 Gospel and to bring a message to people in this time of need. 48:31 We just praise the Lord because before the meetings were over 48:37 we met with the conference president the conference 48:39 leadership and they invited us to come back. 48:42 And we said we're going to look for a day to see when we can 48:45 come back. 48:48 president of the conference and the others. 48:51 This is the president of the conference sitting next to 48:53 Idalia and his wife. 48:54 His name is Pastor Fabian Natareno. 48:58 I praise the Lord they had the opportunity to be with Idalia. 49:01 There was one young lady that was ready for baptism. 49:04 So I was given the opportunity to baptize her and she was a 49:08 little nervous. 49:09 So many people looking at her. 49:11 But praise the Lord. 49:12 It's kind of a short tank there. 49:15 That was a very short baptismal pool. 49:18 So these are some of the people. 49:19 They received our material. 49:21 They received the Bible studies translated. 49:26 This is the governor. 49:28 Her name is Delphina Garcia Reyes. 49:32 Seventh-day Adventist by the way. 49:34 There was also this is the mayor of the city and his name 49:40 is Luis Herrera. 49:41 He received some 3AVN material as well. 49:44 Including the COVID-19 book translated into Spanish because 49:48 it says what's next. 49:50 It's a message that can keep us on going. 49:53 COVID-19 is behind us they say. 49:56 It says what's next. 49:58 So that has a relevant message still. 50:01 So it was a tremendous blessing and we praise the Lord for the 50:04 opportunity to be a part of spreading the gospel. 50:07 I do want to say you mentioned the 3AVN camp meeting. 50:11 We are going to have 3AVN Spanish camp meeting. 50:15 Thank you for the opportunity. 50:16 13th through the 16th of August for those of you that speak 50:20 Spanish you can come to come back to do a 2 week series next 53:09 year. 53:12 Evangelism with 3ABN and they want us to bring Ian and Angela 53:15 back too. 53:17 So maybe we'll do a sod class there also next year. 53:20 It just want to take 20 seconds to say this. 53:44 While we were there, Sister Martha knows the owner of a 53:48 cable company and she has talked to him about 3ABN before 53:50 and he said, oh no, I don't want to be sued. 53:52 I don't want to put them on and be sued. 53:54 She said, well, we have the leaders of 3ABN Latino here and 53:58 we said, yes, you can put us on. 54:00 It's free. 54:04 You can put all of them out. 54:06 He says, I think we can do that. 54:08 Praise the Lord. 54:10 Another cable company. 54:11 Ian, also I think about cable in Palau. 54:14 You were there last year. 54:16 Pastor John alluded to it. 54:17 So when I had the opportunity to go there and do a camp 54:20 meeting last year and that's when I found out that many of 54:23 the members asked, how do we get 3ABN? 54:26 So I worked with Eric as well as the cable company and Moses 54:29 and we were able to just work it all out and now they have 54:32 3ABN on cable. 54:35 Now they want to have 3ABN radio also. 54:38 That's wonderful. 54:39 I can't believe our time is all gone. 54:42 Let's let Mr. Danny and Dr. Yvonne take us out. 54:44 I was thinking the same. 54:47 We're kind of co-hosting with you
