That's in its reality. 02:38 I've had people when we started 3ABN 02:41 that would come to visit and want to hear about 3ABN, 02:44 so I'd let them in the house because we were just building. 02:46 And I've had people... 02:47 Oh yeah, they would come open my cabinets 02:50 and going through them and I say, 02:51 "What are you looking for?" 02:52 We want to see what you're eating. 02:54 We want to see how you, you know, are you eating right? 02:56 Are you so here they were so worried 02:58 and so concerned about getting what message to the world 03:01 when we're supposed to be getting the message 03:03 to the world about Jesus Christ and His saving power. 03:06 So I'm thankful that 3ABN is centering in on that 03:09 and all of these speakers, because I don't care 03:11 how long you've been a Christian, 03:13 we all need to concentrate, 03:14 keep focus on the truth about Jesus Christ. 03:17 Yes. Amen. 03:18 Dr. Yvonne, what about you? 03:20 What does this camp meeting meant to you? 03:21 What's on your mind? 03:22 I love camp meeting 03:24 because you just had that sense of revival 03:26 and I've felt the presence of the Holy Spirit, 03:30 just with all the programs. So 03:32 I'm really thankful to be here 03:34 and to be able to share Jesus because so many people, 03:38 I'm amazed at how many people don't know about Him. 03:42 You know, we kind of assume because we're in ministry 03:44 that people know about Him, but they don't. 03:47 And so for us to have this theme of who is Jesus, 03:50 it can let people know who He is. 03:53 And then, as Jill has said before, 03:55 who is he to you? 03:56 Yeah. Amen. Absolutely. 03:58 You appreciate Shelley Quinn, too. 04:00 We believe that God impressed her 04:01 because we're talking about camp meeting theme 04:02 and what in three minutes 04:04 she came up with the topic and all the... 04:05 And all the topics. 04:07 While she was brushing her teeth, that's all. 04:09 I wasn't gonna say that, 04:10 but you can say that as a woman. 04:13 So, sweetheart, what's on your mind? 04:14 I know that you're actually one of the speakers 04:16 this evening too. 04:17 Yay! I'm excited. 04:18 Tonight we're going to hear from Pastor Kenny Shelton. 04:20 I always love when he opens up the Word of God. 04:23 He's talking tonight our risen Lord. 04:26 You know, Christ's sacrifice was incredible. 04:28 We would not have the gift of salvation without that. 04:31 But if He did not rise from the dead, 04:33 our faith would be in vain. 04:36 And then my message following his is one 04:39 of my favorite topics, I think, Christ in our hearts. 04:43 You know, we can say we know Him, 04:45 but we've never met Him. 04:46 We can preach Him, 04:48 but we never practice even one step of Christianity. 04:52 We can know doctrine 04:55 and quote the 28 fundamental beliefs, 04:58 but we never experience 05:01 the transforming grace of Christ. 05:03 So my theme verse is one of my favorites. 05:06 Ephesians 3:16. 05:09 It says, "That He, this is Jesus, 05:11 would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, 05:15 to be strengthened through His Spirit 05:17 in the inner man," why? 05:19 "That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith 05:23 that we being rooted and grounded in love 05:26 may grow up in Him." 05:28 So tonight we're going to talk about growing in Him 05:31 and having Christ in us, the hope of glory. 05:35 Amen. Looking forward to both. 05:36 Praise Lord. 05:38 I'm looking forward to this music hour, My Danny. 05:39 I'll tell you, I'm excited about it. 05:40 Because we have, of course, our friends Reggie 05:43 and Ladye Love Smith, I think Tim Parton's going 05:45 to be with them. 05:46 And we've got a number of others. 05:48 We said, some of my family's going to be here. 05:51 And we have Pastor Lomacang. 05:52 And we may surprise you with a few more. 05:54 We're kind of playing this by ear as we go, right? 05:57 And so I enjoy the music myself. 06:00 I'm always blessed. 06:01 But I know you are because you write to us and tell us so. 06:04 That's right. 06:05 And we're so thankful 06:06 because while they're great artists, 06:08 so to speak, and the term they would call them great artists, 06:11 but they're actually great ambassadors for Jesus, 06:14 because they're not about themselves. 06:16 They're here tonight, each and every one of them 06:18 that come and the folk 06:19 that we have here are here on a mission 06:21 and that's to help bring Jesus to light, 06:24 lost and dying world and they do it 06:27 and literally very few people and I'm trying to say this 06:31 without saying too much about people 06:33 I want to uplift the Jesus in them. 06:36 But literally the talents that some of the folk 06:38 that we've had here at camp meeting so far, 06:40 Reggie, and Ladye, and Tim are some of those 06:43 that literally they could be singing 06:44 anywhere in the world 06:46 and yet they choose to serve the Lord 06:49 and we're so thankful 06:50 that they're part of our family here at 3ABN. 06:52 So right now we'd like to welcome Reggie, 06:55 and Ladye Love, and Tim. 06:57 All right. Just brother. 29:37 It's just brother, especially when we need you 29:39 to play the piano for some here. 29:41 Well, I'm honored nonetheless. 29:43 So as some of you know, 29:45 I'm gonna move this chair back a little bit here. 29:47 But as some of you know, 29:50 about once every five years I think 29:52 or so we might get together as a family 29:54 and sing a song and we don't really practice 29:57 like we should but we decided we're senior citizens. 29:59 Now, Tammy still denied it, but she's close enough. 30:02 She's close enough that somebody said 30:05 she gets AARP and all that kind of stuff. 30:07 So whatever that does about old enough for social security, 30:11 but since we're all here and our seniors, 30:15 not young, like we used to be, but ever since we were little, 30:18 when we say, Ronnie, what song did mom have us do? 30:21 Oh, she always had us do the same one. 30:22 The same one. It's the same one. 30:24 What a day that will be. What a day that will be. 30:26 We did that at funeral too, didn't we? 30:27 Yes, we did. 30:29 Seemed it we did it at her funeral way back 30:30 and that was in year... 30:32 1999. '99, so it's been a while. 30:35 So we know, Brother Kenny. 30:37 And here's the other thing. 30:38 You're preaching in few minutes. 30:40 And when Kenny was young, he did not want to get up, 30:43 he'd rather take a whipping than to sing. 30:46 And I did. 30:49 And he would 30:50 'cause he did not want to sing and, 30:52 of course, you had four boys, 30:54 you know, and Tammy wasn't born at the time, 30:55 she came along little later, but boy quartet, 30:58 you got four boys, Tim, right? 31:00 That's right. 31:01 So mom want us sing, Kenny was not going to sing. 31:03 When he was young he had the high voice. 31:05 He was the Reggie, he could sing tenor. 31:07 But now his voice went to second tenor, 31:10 and he just didn't like singing, he said. 31:12 So he always say, I'm never getting up front. 31:14 When I'll get away from home, I'm not ever getting up front. 31:17 Then he turns out to be preacher 31:19 and we get him up to sing now and then. 31:21 That's right. So, but I'll admit... 31:23 Can't get off the stage now. 31:25 Tim, if we call him and say, 31:26 "Hey, Brother Kenny, can you come over and do 31:28 a Sabbath School program. 31:29 Can you come and do a worship program. 31:32 Can you come and preach at camp meeting?" 31:33 Yes, sir. 31:34 "Brother Kenny, can you come over and sing?" 31:38 Well... I said yes this time. 31:40 Yeah. 31:41 Yeah, but you usually just say, "Well, I don't know. 31:45 I mean, if you need me, I'll guess I will." 31:48 But he's here. And we're glad you're here. 31:51 Glad all of you are here, and serving the Lord. 31:54 So we've been come through life a long time. 31:57 We never thought we'd live to be this old, did we? 31:59 That's a fact. 32:00 Still here together and still praising the Lord, right? 32:03 Amen.
