I LOVE Camp Meeting. 01:01 I don't know about you. Oh! Camp Meeting for me 01:04 is just... it's so spiritually invigorating 01:07 it's like a revival. It is. To me it's a revival 01:10 for all of us. And so even though we're up here 01:13 we get so much from the sermons and the music. 01:16 And ah, it's just a blessing! 01:17 I remember when I was a young boy that we had a camp that 01:21 the Adventist church down in Little Grassy Lake 01:23 in Southern Illinois had cabins down there 01:26 and we'd go in the summertime. And Camp Meeting probably 01:29 was my favorite time to be there. 01:32 But one of the things that we had... Of course we had a lot of 01:34 preaching, but Camp Meeting you'd always have music. 01:37 Yes! Yes! So we're blessed tonight. 01:40 In fact, we make sure that each night we spend some time 01:43 for music because it's a great way to praise the Lord. 01:46 Yes. And it just ushers in the presence of the Holy Spirit. 01:49 I read a statement by Ellen White not too long ago. 01:52 She says that, you know, music is as important as prayer 01:56 when it comes to a church service, when it comes to 01:58 to getting in preparation for the Holy Spirit. 02:01 So we're going to have some preaching in a little bit. 02:04 Yes. But we're going to have some music first. 02:05 Who's going to be preaching tonight? 02:07 Ryan Day... Pastor Ryan Day is going to be preaching. 02:10 And he's going to be singing too? And singing! I say this all the time 09:01 "Never leave you or forsake you. " But in all the times 09:03 in my life He has been my guide. 09:05 He's been my Rock, my salvation, my hope, 09:08 my strength, and I just want to say to you today 09:10 if you're listening to us today: "Think about deciding 09:13 to follow Jesus because when everythin else will let you down 09:16 He will not. " And money can buy a lot of things. 09:19 I heard the other day: you can buy a clock 09:22 but it can't buy you time. 09:24 It can buy you so many things but only Jesus can 09:27 fulfill your soul. And the devil had in mind 17:05 to stop the gospel... but it's still going 17:08 into all the world with greater power and greater force 17:11 than ever before. Thank you, Father, for opening up 17:14 these doors. We pray for each viewer, each listener 17:17 tonight that as they hear the words and the music 17:21 and they hear the sermons, Father, that each that is ready 17:25 and are receptive will invite You into their lives 17:28 and accept You as Lord and Savior of their lives 17:31 because You've said: "If we confess our sins, 17:33 You are faithful and You're just to forgive us from our sins 17:37 and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. Who is He? 21:59 What is His name? What has He done for us? 22:02 As Danny said a moment ago, Jesus paid that our sins 22:06 might be forgiven. That's why this song says 22:09 The cost of our salvation is the cross. 22:28 Jesus fasted 40 days and nights 22:33 and then the Tempter came 22:36 and led Him to a mountain 22:39 that overlooked the earth's domain. 22:45 Then Satan pointed to the world 22:49 that lay beneath their feet 22:53 and said: "This kingdom could be Yours 22:56 if You bow and worship me. " 45:24 But He knows what's best for me 45:32 although I cannot see. 45:38 I just say: "Thank you, Lord! 45:44 I can't complain. We really can't complain. 48:21 I'm getting ready to cry right now! 48:23 Because He is so gracious and He is so loving 48:27 and so kind. And we don't always know 48:31 why things are as they are 48:32 because there's so many things happening in our world 48:37 today we don't understand what's going on. 48:39 But we know that we serve a God who DOES know. 48:43 Who sits high and looks low and knows everything 48:46 that's going on. And there's no trial that we have 48:50 that can overcome us because He promises us 48:53 that when we walk through the waters He'll be with us 48:58 and through the rivers they will not overflow us 49:00 and when we walk through the fire 49:02 we will not be burned, neither will the flame kindle upon us 49:07 because He is our God, He's the holy one of Israel, 49:12 our Savior. Yes. So we don't have to worry 49:15 and we don't need to complain 49:17 because our God is with us. 49:19 I love it absolutely. 49:21 You know what? One thing I love about Tim Parton: 49:24 he's a minuteman. Yes, he is! 49:27 He just says: "I can see where we're going! Yes we are! 54:30 I'd like to talk for just a moment 54:32 to the folks at home. 54:35 Probably this last year so many people 54:38 have said: "2020 was the worst year of their life. " 54:42 And yet if we said it, we're still here. 54:45 Right? That's true. We're still here. 54:47 If we said it, we're still here. 54:49 The best year of your life is coming. 54:53 It lies ahead and I can promise you that. 54:56 Now does that mean that you're all of a sudden 54:58 run into wealth or your health is going to be great? 55:01 Does that mean you're even going to make it through 55:04 this coming year? 55:06 What it means is once you submit and commit your life 55:09 to the Lord Jesus Christ 55:11 the devil can rob you of a lot of things. 55:14 He can rob you of your home, your car. He can rob you 55:17 of your friends. Sometimes he can rob you 55:19 all sort... finances... but he can't rob you of your soul. 55:22 You know why? Because the soul doesn't belong to him. 55:25 Come on! Your soul belongs to the Creator God 55:28 of heaven and earth. So the devil can't rob that from you. 55:31 So right now when you make peace with God, 55:34 when you literally come to the Lord and say: "Lord, I can't 55:37 go on any farther. Will your certain sicknesses, 56:24 will certain financial problems, marital problems, whatever 56:27 go away? Not necessarily all at once 56:30 but what we can do is we can have peace 56:32 in the midst of the storm and then we can ask God 56:34 and one by one you're going to see every day 56:37 you begin to draw closer to Jesus. 56:39 The things of earth will grow strangely dim 56:42 in the light of His glory and grace. 56:46 Isn't that what you want for your life today? 56:48 You want peace that passeth all understanding. 56:51 So no matter what happens around you 56:53 nothing the devil can take. The devil didn't give it to you 56:58 so he can't take it away. 56:59 And I'm talking about salvation.
