00:44 Jesus is happy that you've joined us.
00:47 It makes Jesus really happy
00:49 when we spend time with Him, doesn't it?
00:52 Today, our special guest is Miss Jill Morikone.
00:57 Welcome, Miss Jill.
00:58 Thank you so much, Miss Cinda, for having me.
01:00 I always loved Tiny Tots Worship,
01:03 spending time with each one of you,
01:04 boys and girls, and you at home.
01:06 And today, we have a special exciting story for you.
01:10 Oh!
01:11 Who loves stories?
01:12 Me!
01:14 Do you like stories?
01:15 Boys and girls, do you love stories?
01:17 You're gonna want to hear this one.
01:19 Today, we're talking about trusting in the Lord.
01:24 You know, that's a really important lesson to learn
01:26 is trusting in the Lord.
01:29 And first, why don't we have a little prayer?
01:33 Let's bow our heads and close our eyes.
01:36 And, Cadence, could you pray for us?
01:42 Please bless us.
01:44 Amen.
01:45 Amen.
01:47 Well, boys and girls, we served a great big God,
01:53 a God that is able to help us.
01:56 So let's sing He's Able.
02:00 He's able, He's able I know He's able
02:07 I know my Lord is able to carry me through
02:14 He's able, He's able I know He's able
02:20 I know my Lord is able to carry me through
02:27 He heals the brokenhearted and He sets the captives free
02:33 He made the lame to walk again and He caused the blind to see
02:38 Because He's able, He's able I know He's able
02:45 I know my Lord is able to carry me through
02:52 I love that song.
02:54 Me too.
02:55 Well, we have a special for you, Miss Jill.
02:58 Oh!
02:59 Aiden and Ajade are going to sing a song for us.
03:02 What song are you going to sing, boys?
03:04 Amazing Grace.
03:05 Oh!
03:07 Okay.
03:10 Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
03:16 That saved a wretch like me
03:23 I once was lost but now I'm found
03:29 Was blind, but now I see
03:35 My chains are gone I've been set free
03:41 My God, my Savior has ransomed me
03:47 And like a flood His mercy rains
03:53 Unending love, amazing grace
04:00 T'was grace that taught my heart to fear
04:06 And grace my fears relieved
04:12 How precious did that grace appear
04:19 The hour I first believed
04:24 My chains are gone I've been set free
04:30 My God, my Savior has ransomed me
04:37 And like a flood His mercy rains
04:43 Unending love
04:46 Amazing grace
04:51 That's a beautiful song. Oh! That's beautiful.
04:54 Wow!
04:55 We have another surprise. Saralyn's going to sing for us.
04:59 You're going to sing.
05:00 What song are you going to sing, Saralyn?
05:02 'Tis Love That Makes Us Happy
05:05 Oh, good.
05:14 'Tis love that makes us happy
05:18 'Tis love that smooths the way
05:22 It helps us mind, it makes us kind
05:26 To others every day
05:31 God is love
05:35 We're His little children
05:39 God is love
05:43 We would be like Him
05:46 'Tis love that makes us happy
05:50 'Tis love that smooths the way
05:54 It helps us mind, it makes us kind
05:58 To others every day
06:02 Oh, that was beautiful.
06:04 Oh, that was beautiful, Saralyn.
06:08 I love the words of that song
06:10 because Jesus' love does make me happy.
06:12 Doesn't it make you happy, boys and girls?
06:15 Well, before our story,
06:18 let's say our memory verse for today.
06:21 Can you all say it with me?
06:23 Proverbs 3:5.
06:26 Proverbs 3:5
06:29 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart..."
06:34 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart..."
06:38 "And lean not on your own understanding."
06:43 "And lean not on your own understanding."
06:49 Who's ready for a story?
06:51 Me!
06:52 Okay.
06:53 So be very quiet.
06:55 Okay.
06:57 She was just a little thing, a little grey ball of fluff.
07:03 From the tip of her pink nose to the end of her tail,
07:07 she was this long.
07:08 She had four grey paws
07:12 and whiskers coming out the side.
07:13 Do you know what she was?
07:15 A kitty. A kitty.
07:17 That's right, Christiana.
07:18 She was a kitty cat. And she came to my house.
07:21 Someone had dropped her off, and my husband Greg and I,
07:24 we adopted her.
07:26 And we named her Pebbles.
07:29 She looks grey and fluffy.
07:31 She would roll on her back in the driveway,
07:35 and she loved it when we rubbed her tummy.
07:37 Sometimes, she would get in the flower beds,
07:40 and sometimes, she would pounce on bugs and beetles
07:46 and even mice and she would bring them home.
07:48 Well, we had her a couple of years
07:50 when we were gone for a trip.
07:52 And we came home, and the lady we had who watched her,
07:56 she was outside during the day and she loved the flowers
07:59 and she would run and play,
08:01 but every night, we always put her in the garage
08:05 'cause we live in the country, and sometimes, maybe a coyote,
08:09 maybe an owl would like a kitty cat,
08:11 so we put her in the garage.
08:13 When we came home from our trip,
08:15 and guess what happened?
08:17 We looked for Pebbles, and we called, "Pebbles!
08:21 Pebbles!
08:23 Come here, kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty."
08:25 And we listened and we listened,
08:29 and we couldn't hear any kitty.
08:31 There was no meow, no kitty.
08:35 Well, we brought her stuff in and then we thought,
08:37 "It's okay, maybe she's hunting a mouse.
08:40 She will come later."
08:42 And we tried a couple hours later.
08:43 We went outside, "Pebbles!"
08:46 And we listened and there was no kitty cat.
08:50 Then it came to be nighttime and it was getting dark.
08:54 We want her safe in her little bed
08:56 in the garage.
08:58 So we went outside and we called again, "Pebbles!"
09:03 And we listened. Maybe help Miss Jill call.
09:04 Can you call Pebbles?
09:07 Pebbles!
09:11 And there was no kitty cat, there was no meow.
09:14 And my husband Greg said,
09:15 "Miss Jill, we need to trust Jesus.
09:19 Jesus can take care of Pebbles."
09:22 We went to bed.
09:24 The next morning we looked, there was no Pebbles.
09:27 So he went to work,
09:28 and I put on his old jeans and his old flannel shirt,
09:32 and I went out looking for Pebbles.
09:35 Let's call her.
09:36 Pebbles!
09:38 Pebbles!
09:41 And we listened.
09:43 No kitty cat.
09:44 Then I thought,
09:45 "Maybe she went across the street from our house."
09:48 So I went and there's a barbed wire fence,
09:50 and I picked one leg up and over the fence,
09:53 the other leg up and over the fence.
09:56 And then there was briars and brush,
09:59 so I had to get down
10:00 on my knees and on my hands and crawl.
10:03 And I called and I called, "Pebbles!
10:08 Pebbles!"
10:09 And I listened.
10:11 And there was no Pebbles.
10:13 And my coat got stuck on the briars
10:15 and I had to yank it,
10:17 but there was no Pebbles.
10:20 I prayed to Jesus, "Help me find Pebbles.
10:24 I'm trusting Pebbles with you.
10:26 I'm trusting you to take care of Pebbles."
10:29 Then I had a thought.
10:30 And sometimes, boys and girls, Jesus gives us a thought
10:33 and that comes from Him.
10:34 And it said, "Go down this field."
10:37 And I went down the field and I called again, "Pebbles!"
10:41 Pebbles! Pebbles!
10:44 And I listened and I heard, "Meow."
10:49 And I called again, "Pebbles!"
10:55 And I heard, "Meow."
10:58 And I ran into the woods
11:00 and there was my grey kitty cat.
11:03 There was Pebbles.
11:04 She had her back up
11:06 and her tail was waving proudly.
11:08 And I ran to her and I said, "Pebbles, you've got lost."
11:12 And I picked her up and I carried her home.
11:18 Now why do you think she got lost?
11:21 Anybody know why she got lost?
11:22 Because she ran away from her house.
11:25 She did, Lauren.
11:27 She ran away from her house, didn't she?
11:29 And sometimes, maybe we get lost,
11:31 sometimes we run away, whatever.
11:33 But you know what?
11:35 I went out and Jesus helped me find her.
11:38 Jesus helped me find her.
11:40 And you know what, boys and girls,
11:42 we can trust Jesus with our pets.
11:45 We can trust Jesus with our brothers and sisters.
11:48 We can trust Jesus with our mommies and daddies.
11:51 At any time, when you're not sure,
11:53 you can trust Jesus with everything in your life
11:56 'cause He takes care of us.
11:58 Yes, He does.
11:59 Oh, what do we say to Miss Jill?
12:01 Thank you, Miss Jill. Thank you, Miss Jill.
12:04 And you know what?
12:06 Jesus does take care of us.
12:08 Do you know, boys and girls,
12:09 Jesus has the whole world in His hands.
12:13 Let's sing that song.
12:16 He's got the whole world in His hands
12:20 He's got the whole world in His hands
12:24 He's got the whole world in His hands
12:28 He's got the whole world in His hands
12:33 He's got the little, tiny kitty in His hands
12:37 He's got the little, tiny kitty in His hands
12:41 He's got the little, tiny kitty in His hands
12:45 He's got the whole world in His hands
12:50 Well, let's have a prayer right now.
12:52 Let's sing our prayer song.
12:54 And, Christiana, would you have to prayer for us?
12:58 I will bend my knees I will fold my hands
13:05 I will bow my head
13:09 I will close my eyes
13:12 And very, very quiet be
13:18 While the prayer is said
13:22 Dear, Jesus, help us to listen in You.
13:28 I love you, Jesus.
13:29 Amen.
13:30 Amen.
13:32 And, boys and girls... Ooh, that's Mr. Rooster.
13:35 He says that's all the time we have for now.
13:38 Bye!
13:39 Bye.
