We're going to 01:15 be here, of course, with our 3ABN family. But you know what? 01:18 We've been looking forward to spending these 2, 2, and a half 01:21 hours with you. One of the reasons why is because you're 01:23 part of the 3ABN, family now, of course, here in the United 01:27 States. This is a national holiday. We call Thanksgiving 01:30 Day. But around the world, it's Thanksgiving Day to write every 01:33 day should be a Thanksgiving day because we have so much to 01:35 thank the Lord for and so today's program, you know, 01:38 Joe Meaux was incurred by these Thanksgiving programs because 01:41 really, it's an encouragement, but with the Lord's doing in 01:43 our lives and the lives of everyone's lives here, 3 ADN 01:47 but also in the ministry of 3 dead. It's a blessing. 01:49 >> And part of the great big family, God and man, I'm so 01:52 glad to be here with you. We are glad to be with you as 01:55 well. Are 3ABN family home and whether you gathered with your 01:59 family around a good meal which we would love or maybe you're 02:03 by yourself, we are your family and we want to spend this time 02:07 together. We have some of our family on the set as well. 02:10 And we're going to be trading guests out through the program. 02:13 We're going to be reminiscing on what caught he's done in our 02:16 lives this last year and the lessons we've learned some 02:19 scriptures that God has given to us. 02:21 >> And I think some use I have something to drink, too. 02:25 We do. You know, I have to say thank you to the crew. Look at 02:27 this beautiful Thanksgiving said, yeah, he's done a great 02:29 job and that these are not I don't think so. These plastic 02:32 or just haha, you come here on the set. You have to bring 02:38 cures. Looks kind of loss. I love that with some sentiment 02:41 in closing or smell them and I love it. A great Apple drink. 02:46 Yeah. 02:47 >> Not a great time to spend time as Joe mentioned with 02:49 family and maybe some of you our alone. You know, so many 02:52 letters, emails, messages come through here in 3 a B. And it 02:55 seems like on a weekly basis, we get those letters that are 02:58 actually very hard to get where someone says just this year I 03:01 lost my loved one and boys going to be lonely during the 03:05 holiday time. But I want to remind you, of course, we're 03:08 here to 3 again, family, very member. God is the one that you 03:12 can lean on all the time and his promise to be with us to 03:16 the trials of this life and praise the Lord. We have 03:19 something much better look forward to. Of course, that's 03:22 Christ's second coming. So there's a lot. 03:25 >> To praise the Lord for today and reduce our family. We have 03:27 Mister Daniel Vettori van with the U.S.. Thank you. So good to 03:31 be here. 03:32 >> This is one of these holidays that we really love 03:35 and support to him and been thankful thankful to the Lord. 03:39 >> And between aside is introduced to because you're 03:42 our founder and we're so grateful for that. So I used to 03:45 first but that we missed him part and we're always glad to 03:48 remain with us. I just didn't think you are thought you 03:51 didn't recognize me. Haha Hahahaha. 10 league matches 03:57 your sweaters. Yeah. Well, thank you very much. It's it's 04:00 keeping me warm to. You know, they say that he'd escapes out 04:03 of your head. Oh, I don't have as much hair as I used to do. 04:06 Yeah. Keeping me warm in here. Pastor John Angelo McCain 04:12 always love it when you can be on to. 04:13 >> Yes. The reason to be thankful. It's now 20 years 04:17 since we've been here BN clout to believe they came here with 04:21 black hair and something happened. We praise God for the 04:24 ministry has been to our lives and to whom and how we have 04:28 grown here and and kind of seen as too good to be on this 04:31 program. 04:32 >> Very few been our pastor since I came just a couple 04:34 months before you all came. Some was Julie back in the day 04:37 at Yahoo's to call her Julie Bailey place. Among the people 04:43 has been kind of a family. 3ABN joke here from as you 04:49 like. I do remember her name and just starts her day. 04:51 Haha. Many want to do a deal. Yeah. 04:55 >> But I don't know. Probably touch on this briefly in the 04:57 next few minutes after song. But you just came through a 05:00 series here at a local church. Yeah, of course. Wasn't just 05:03 here locally when around through YouTube as well and 05:05 appraisal or for that. Thank you for your vandals. Take 05:07 heart. There are a serious discussion or for that. Thank 05:12 you. Kim Coates songs. We start the song. Let's let's say about 05:15 the steadfast love, the Lord that never ceases. 05:20 >> Was. 05:23 >> C 05:30 >> to be too. 05:37 [MUSIC] 05:39 >> Need. 05:44 >> I'm free to go. That is what missing that again. 06:01 >> Has the 06:02 >> to be. Yeah. 06:17 [MUSIC] 06:22 >> The movie to he. 06:28 >> It is. 06:37 >> It a little. 06:44 >> Grace. I'm thinking back over this year. Pentagon Angie 06:49 Hazell are been good to you. Yeah. The something that you 06:52 can say maybe God has taught you this last year and impact 06:56 something that happened in your life where you saw the hand of 06:59 God. 07:01 >> Yes, we've been through. We've traveled quite a bit this 07:03 year and turnover 130,000 miles north of us together. And there 07:08 were times when we were flying, we thought what a waste recent 07:12 trips my life and on our way to Indonesia is the turbulence was 07:15 so bad. My wife quit mama. She said this is how it's 07:18 going. And I said is this. It uses this to carry and we 07:23 sent out because on airplanes, Wi-Fi, we sent a text cut to a 07:27 church to pray, pray for a city that really bad. Yeah. And I 07:31 didn't want to say yes, this might be how it's going to. 07:34 And I didn't even respond to that said no, you do is just 07:36 pray. Lets just say we know the Lord was going to carry us, 07:40 too, because it was something is an issue that we knew he'd 07:43 want us to go for it. And and the result of the Lord carrying 07:47 us through. That 07:49 was 121 baptisms. Yes, man in a town where, you know, 07:54 predominately Muslim country by Christianity was very strong in 07:58 that town. Tonight at 10 and a half hour drive one way to Napa 08:01 Valley Drive back to the mountains worn out. But we look 08:05 back on and we say, well, 08:07 you know, this is the text that came to my mind. Some 23 for 6 08:10 surely goodness and mercy. I shall follow me all the days 08:16 of my life. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. 08:19 And I think about and we can say this together, you know, 08:22 all through all of the stuff that we've been through 08:24 to the promises wherever you go. But if you do goodness and 08:29 mercy will follow you. And this year has been here for goodness 08:32 and mercy. What is a h**? 08:34 >> It has been and I'm so grateful for what God has done 08:38 and our lives. Yes, we traveled yes, but there's nothing like 08:42 having no personal devotion with the Lord. We study with 08:46 pray and sometimes we do sing together even though I don't 08:50 see home. And yeah, but there's nothing like having a devotion 08:56 to the lot. And there's a Bible techs from Colossians 4 verse 2 09:01 is says continue earnestly in prayer being vigilant in it 09:06 with thankfulness 09:08 and why this a little quote, it says speak and act in harmony 09:12 with your prayers. Newt will make an infinite difference 09:17 with you where the trial shell prove your faith to be genuine. 09:22 All show that your prayers are only a farm so it could be 09:27 genuine with the Lord. He knows your heart. He knows my heart 09:30 be genuine. And that's what I get from that. But God is 09:34 faithful and tonight. 09:35 >> And you know, they're they there are days when my wife 09:38 knows I'm worn out and she say thus less talented. I mean, 09:42 you might sound odd last I want to do is read a devotional, 09:46 has just say, let's wait to vote Chanel and it was the 09:48 spark me up all over again. And that's just say, don't go 09:52 to bed the night of the killing. Could you keep going? 09:56 She said. 09:57 >> What are the light was so good that the study that will 10:00 take the Bible and go for the time like, yeah, I get up in 10:04 the morning because haha. 10:06 >> And but I think about it, you know, think about this is, 10:08 you know, we'll talk about it much but back in 16, 21 and it 10:12 was 90 whopping Aug Indians and 52 Englishman got together up 10:18 and what we now call Plymouth, Massachusetts and head of feast 10:22 together during the time of the Autumn of the Year of Great 10:25 Harvest. They never use where Thanksgiving but that became 10:28 known as the on said, inception have Thanksgiving in America 10:33 and here we are allowed 16. 20 was a long time ago. Yeah. 10:37 But America is a country where God is plus so much. And with 10:40 all of our trials and tribulations, even the loss and 10:43 our family lost a nephew this year and my sister went to a 10:46 stroll. She still in recovery is still coming along. But I 10:51 just thank God that as we look at this season, 10:55 blessings have been greater than our trials. 10:58 >> And Senate passed or what word of encouragement would you 11:02 have for that person home right now? Because we receive, 11:04 like I mentioned earlier, a lot of letters where this is the 11:06 first holiday, you know, family holiday without their loved 11:09 one. What word of encouragement would you give to them? 11:14 >> There are those of you who might be saying, well, how do I 11:16 how do I say Happy Thanksgiving? 11:20 My husband may be missing. My wife may be missing. Zoom on 11:23 a child may have a for whatever reason blo missing on. 11:28 This is a time that you have to grab and hold on to the mercies 11:31 of God and the promises of God. He said to us in this. Well, 11:35 within have tribulation. But it was, I think, only for 11:38 this world. The apostle Paul says, if we had hope all only 11:42 in this life, 11:43 we will be of all men most miserable. So I look beyond the 11:47 here and now I look to that there. And then when those 11:50 reunions 11:51 will be greater than any Thanksgiving you've ever 11:53 celebrated. And when we sit down at the marriage supper of 11:57 the lamb and then and that's going to be a feast that 11:59 outlasts out shines any fees that you can ever prepare your 12:03 home. So let the memory of your loved one. It remind you that 12:07 cause goodness, they're always that is mercy is everlasting 12:11 will follow you all the days of your life. And when that day 12:14 comes that you are united with them in the kingdom made new, 12:18 you can say to them. Here's what happens when you slept. 12:22 Now we could begin our internal journey and celebration 12:25 together. So look forward beyond the moment because 12:27 everything in this life is but it was a bit of a moment. 12:30 But eternity is never ending. 12:32 >> A man in prison or think you pressured on Tim some saying no 12:37 one ever cared for me. 12:38 >> Yeah, so. 12:41 >> You too. 12:45 >> Why you see a? 12:51 >> So I'm. 12:57 >> To. 13:01 [MUSIC] 13:06 [MUSIC] 13:11 [MUSIC] 13:13 >> Yes. 13:22 >> Well, you feel beautiful song. No one ever cared for me 13:26 like Jesus. And today we have a message to give to the world 13:31 this world. We mentioned that on some recent programs. 13:35 And John, you're covering it. You covered it nears year 13:38 series. The world really basically is a messed up place 13:42 without Jesus. There's no hope there's no life. What a 13:46 privilege. Just think about it. What a privilege share from 13:49 this little spot and southern Illinois. Yes, we can send 13:52 signals when the signals are given the gospel message. 13:57 Literally. 22,300 miles to space travels around the world 14:02 at a speed of light 186,200 miles per second. Mazen 14:07 formally just farm property right here, little community, 14:11 about 600 people and down the road. West Frankfort, where I 14:15 grew up a 2009 1000 people. But we literally God has given 14:19 us technology to reach the world is and the beauty this is 14:23 he says when this gospel of the kingdom is preached, come into 14:27 all all the world. And and so the way and or I like to say 14:32 the beginning, the beginning, it will happen. And so today 14:38 may be home by yourself and use and water. But I have to be 14:41 thankful for. I'm here. My health is not been good. 14:45 Lost a loved one. What you have to be thankful about is Jesus. 14:49 That's good. Gave his life and did not one should perish, 14:53 but all should have everlasting life. Can you imagine living 14:56 this life with no hope hired someone yesterday say is an 15:01 athlete, says I don't really believe in God. And so they had 15:05 an accident on the field and sat. There was a got a really 15:08 messed up because let me get hurt. So that just confirms 15:11 there's no guy and you know how selfish it would put got into a 15:16 little box and we can cause a human box. But without the hope 15:21 of the resurrection without the hope of the second coming of 15:25 the Lord Jesus Christ, it wouldn't be worth it. No one 15:28 would not be worth it. But I would be I mean, the PRI man, 15:31 a mental home somewhere. Haha, because, you know, 15:34 they do that and that's why people kill themselves or they 15:37 don't know. But we have an opportunity as Christians to 15:41 present to the world. Hey, we have an answer for this world's 15:45 problems today. Yeah, we can turn on the news. It's very 15:48 discouraging. This depressing and why we watch the news 15:51 because we want to say what's happening. But what I love 15:54 about it is that we're living in the process is not looking 15:58 forward to them anymore. We're that close to the end of 16:01 times. It's not like, well, let's see what's going to be 16:04 happening. It's like we're actually living here, which 16:07 when you get a should just say my age that my native on today 16:10 and you do the math here, like, you know, hey, come Lord Jesus, 16:16 yes or no matter what a privilege. And I'm so thankful, 16:19 too, have a wife that way, minister together and in the 16:22 team that we minister with all of you and those here at 3ABN, 16:26 for all of you at home, we want to thank you for your love and 16:29 prayers and financial support. You know, 3 ABN doesn't go on 16:33 its own. So there's a there's a I want to say a miss, but a lot 16:39 of people think and believe I read about it that after an 16:42 organization is around 25 years, you know, just always be 16:46 there. So how well it's and then sanitation now. Well, 16:50 3 ABN is not an institution other than God's blessings 16:54 concert. You make it an institution because we don't 16:58 Reese a fund of funds from the church of the general coffers 17:02 or, you know any and rightfully so we're through we're 17:06 nonprofit 501 C 3 organization. But of course, we teach the 17:10 Bible message which we believe is 7 as 7th. They haven't us. 17:15 We preach that Jesus is coming soon. Even in the name 7th Day. 17:19 We have ventas will tell you a lot about it. But what a 17:22 privilege that we have an joining hands with you. So I 17:26 want to 17:27 ask you today. We do know this too often, but if the large 17:29 impressing is good and you're blessed by the ministry of 3 17:32 ABN, we have a a lot of work to do and getting towards the end 17:37 of the year. Greg and I was talking yesterday, Greg, 17:40 it's always more guys going to have to do something and we're 17:43 running behind finances. And I said, you know, I'm 17:46 thankful for January and that has will be able to tell you 17:50 all how God that's the last synagogue us out of this 17:53 situation that looks impossible right now. This happens all the 17:57 time, but it happens God's people. So today, I'm just 18:01 going to ask you, I know you're thankful for so many things. 18:04 We're thankful for our families, our friends, and, 18:06 you know, life and health and strength. But for those of you 18:10 that we've been partnering with, we want to say we're 18:12 thankful for you. Thank you for what you do for the cause of 18:16 God on planet Earth, a man and a result. 18:19 >> You know, as we're starting the program, most think we 18:21 should actually have a word of prayer before we say goodbye to 18:24 Pastor John and you're and you won't. You pray for section 18:26 where we say goodbye to move this ball heads. 18:28 >> Gracious father in heaven. We come to you in Jesus name. 18:32 Lot was so grateful for life health, the strength, even a 18:36 sound mind. Lord, we just praise you for who you are. 18:41 Lord. We pray for our viewers and listeners out there that 18:45 tune in and they're with us right now for this Thanksgiving 18:49 program. Lot some people heard in on the other side to going 18:53 through a lot of pain. We ask that your holy spirit will come 18:57 ever so close to them. Even now as they are at the empty spot 19:01 on the table. We asked for the confidence strength of Jesus 19:05 meant a lot. That great reunion date is soon approach. We'll 19:10 one we ask that we will continue to be faithful until 19:14 that Lauria. Stay in Jesus name. 19:18 >> We're so thankful for both of you. We are on a years and 19:21 then for your friendship for your leadership and continue to 19:26 do what you're doing because and 19:28 >> God has called you for such an hours. This is a man wants 19:31 to be loved. The law with the eyes did so much. We welcome 19:34 after thanks to have got to get some Wausau. We trade off. 19:40 All right. Spirit are canny. And Chris, are there some of us 19:43 a little bit ignorant? I don't know what was. So it is. 19:46 So if that sounds like a name of a town, yeah, that's gone 19:50 after a while. So that's how ignorant I am. OK? So what's at 19:55 stake was the stick. And the sentiment Santa has and loads 19:59 orange, somewhat lemon in it pass to Kenny. Just yeah, 20:04 it was. Was then, you know, Honey Shaw probably later folly 20:12 labs to try some that. Yeah. Haha like apple juice in the 20:17 eye cap which is called up a little bit. 20:20 >> Pastor Kenny, when you guys were kids that you all have a 20:23 big Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving, not a big family. 20:25 Get together for you all grow. Well, you know, I it was a get 20:28 together. Yeah. Yeah. It starts out like oust small sometime. 20:34 You know it. Your own family Nelson's be you have children 20:37 and grandchildren. We're finding we like to have 20:39 everything combined and bunch, everybody, you know, they have 20:43 their kids didn't have the grand piano and they're going 20:45 different places and just can't seem to get together like we 20:48 like to you know, we didn't have a whole lot, but we did 20:51 have a meal together. We did. And we we and we enjoyed that 20:55 time and those times that that no one can ever take from you. 20:58 So who is the cook? 20:59 >> There was a mom or dad. Why everybody Ma Ma Ma has boys 21:04 weighed in. You know, when you might add and cook. So we men 21:08 don't cook men. Don't wheel a learn differently. Yeah, 21:18 much of a stairway miles. Birds. 21:20 >> On the fetus, memory is issues to make a big meal. 21:25 Always mashed potatoes. And that's one time I think with 21:28 cranberry. Oh, yeah, you know them. It's like a relish. 21:33 Yeah. Cans them. Yeah, I like that. 21:36 >> And of course, we always had Turkey. You and I haven't had 21:39 in Turkey in about 40 years. Real stuff but called fake 21:42 turkey but to him. But we used to have that. And I remember as 21:46 a family, we love it. That mail. It was a big day at home. 21:49 Can palm a good American Danny Shaw here? I remember the who 21:56 didn't put that in the have pumpkin pie with whipped cream. 22:01 You you have to look at people who were really poor. So we 22:05 didn't like that during most of the air. So every so this was a 22:09 real tree and band together. Nobody thought about going 22:12 anywhere else. Years. A family get together. You eat together 22:15 on it. And we used to do that on a regular basis now days. 22:18 So in a few families actually a lunch or supper together, 22:23 I mean, he's just everybody is doing their own. I think that 22:26 something really special. But Thanksgiving is a special 22:30 time and we'd go out. They didn't care how cold it was. 22:32 Something either is golden other times as warm but we go 22:35 out by basketball morning schedule schedule. Yeah. 22:40 Maybe sometime. Whatever. Yeah. On. Good morning. Well 22:44 there everybody and we go play basketball this dozens and be 22:47 outside freezing ugly. Yeah. Yeah. Or if it is thought out a 22:51 little bit then then as muddy. So we've come home all dirty. 22:54 >> You know? And are sure some time playing under church. 22:57 Yeah. So I'm just going to a good time able to do all that. 23:02 We play basketball. The yeah. That's great. Good. What a gift 23:06 to the family. 23:07 >> What a given the family in ministry. And, you know, 23:09 we have work. And if you all I know we're not biological like 23:12 you all, but I consider you FanDuel actually have a I. 23:17 >> I know there was one time my mom had been really, really 23:20 sick. And my brother had come up to St. Louis and we were 23:24 talking and he started opening up to me and he said growing up 23:27 the he felt 23:30 like he was looking 23:32 on the inside from the outside. He didn't feel as close as part 23:37 of the family. He said because you same closer to your church 23:40 family. But I think that's the spirit of God that draws people 23:44 together and that and, you know, it's a lot of times I I 23:47 can remember one time going. My mom was a call to order for 23:50 years. And we were heading up to Kyle Porter meeting up in 23:53 Wisconsin and we stopped one of the rest areas and went into 23:57 the restroom there. And there was a a lady and some her 24:02 daughters were there. And we started talking in immediately. 24:06 You can feel that by come to find out she was in and then 24:10 she was June lady and on the road traveling in. It's just 24:14 need have alert puts people to come. It is God's timing of 24:18 that. 24:19 >> And and then what stands out this past year for both of you. 24:21 First, Lord, something special, scripture, something. 24:24 >> There's a lot we what we have been so blessed and we've 24:27 had to cut back in the last couple of wind. A lot of 24:30 traveling. We had to cut back on the traveling this year and 24:33 cancel some some travels, but hopefully maybe next year might 24:38 be different. We're still waiting on a new join a new 24:40 hit, Jodi. Yeah. 24:42 >> He know it. 24:52 >> We really have ministered a lot here locally and close by. 24:59 And of course, we just did come back from South Carolina. 25:02 That was a tremendous blessing. The Holy Spirit was so good in 25:06 and was poured out on this little church. So we were in 25:10 and 25:12 Miller's just been good. These you know, you often we 25:15 often you don't often say ability of in here it went. 25:18 Gray said we're living in an president. How? Yeah. And and 25:23 that is so true. We see that this the the hands of the the 25:27 Angels are starting to. She has pull back and let go a little 25:32 bit. Yeah. And the 4 winds a strike that we can tell that 25:34 God is coming soon. And as I was thinking about a scripture, 25:39 one did come up in my mind this past weekend is found in in 25:44 Psalms first 18 and in 25:47 I mean, chapter 18 verse 2. 25:49 >> And this is the Lord is my rock. And I started thinking 25:53 about it because you think of a rock. Their steadfast are 25:55 strong, right? You know, a lot of times I think my husband has 25:59 the raw. You know what? I'm weak to strong yen littler all 26:03 week in. If we need week, we have a way to excess the 26:09 father. He's always that Rockies. Always strong. He's 26:12 our fortress. It goes on to say you think of forges. That's 26:15 protection is shocked about all this traveling with. And we 26:19 just traveled back in and a lot of times we'll be praying 26:22 together and and knowing that they were close calls and we 26:25 have no idea how many times and how busy we have those angels 26:30 while we were on the road. He's our fortress. He's our 26:33 deliver. Yeah. Our God and my strength in whom I will trust 26:38 my buckler. I had to look that up. Thought there is a shield, 26:41 a smog she'll die at. Think about God. He's protecting us. 26:46 He's taken those air girls at the devils sending away and 26:49 he's holding up that shield of protection all around us. 26:52 In fact, it's a beautiful thought that nothing can touch 26:56 us as a child of God unless he allows and he trusts us with 27:02 that and then and the horn of our salvation. How a yeah. 27:07 Where would we be in this world as we see all these things is 27:11 still shocked. And almost every time you turn on the news, 27:14 you know, for about almost 3 weeks, we've left the news off. 27:17 You know, we kind of is separated from the world while 27:19 we've been gone. But it's you turn it back on is the same 27:23 thing. You know, where would we be if we didn't have that hope 27:27 of salvation? And then finally 27:31 I tower and they just think about that. God is in the high 27:36 tower that people cannot reach. He sees everything and the 27:41 beginning to the end. And he's called each and every one of us 27:46 to a part of his family. And we have so much to be 27:49 thankful for a man. 27:51 >> We talk about your husband, man. You're rocked only. 27:55 He's literally won the strong as men I've ever met. Yeah. 27:58 >> I know that a lot of people when you get my age but a 28:02 cannon been little older than me. I hadn't made and school I 28:06 had I had a doesn't look a bit. He is but older may, but I 28:10 hadn't made in school because I always want to play basketball. 28:14 And I like to play with some of the older kids. Well, they 28:17 older grades and you if you're they're like, get out of here, 28:20 you little punk in it into I would go show up and want to 28:24 play in the EU campaign candidates. They know he's 28:26 going play as my brother. He's playing with us. So I got 28:29 to play with the older kids which made me a better all 28:32 players. So he was always there for me. So anybody want to give 28:36 him a hard time? Yeah. I knew he was going to be there to 28:38 protect my back. I kind of feel like it do that today. And 28:42 yeah, but you know, we didn't have to take up to a big even 28:46 though he was younger than most of that time. He was still 28:49 better the most. So I I did want him on my side because 28:53 when when selfish just there. But so it's okay. Haha. Yeah, 28:57 he was. It was not even one is very small as guys. And I think 29:01 that's haha. You're hard pass to Kenny. Well, you know, 29:05 >> this is really bent a year a little every year. We could set 29:09 back and saying this time as Thanksgiving. And, you know, 29:12 Bible says it's in him that we live and we move. We have our 29:15 main terror. Nothing can we can live. Nothing can exist. 29:18 Nothing can grow physically spiritual ever without him. 29:22 So we look at them. We think that so thank God for that. 29:25 But, 29:27 you know, I've had some spankings special springs this 29:30 year, and probably some would like to give me some physical 29:33 spankings. But, you know, it's it's it's all in the growth of 29:37 a Christian. Its U.S. where you folks are Ashworth. 3 ABN is 29:40 that you're you're in a light. People are looking. People are 29:44 judging. People are throwing things. They have no idea why 29:47 they're throwing whatever it is. But we have to be strong in 29:49 the Lord. We have to let that hit as it were and then move 29:53 on. It's good. You have to know as a worry said the hardest to 29:56 see where that know your heart, your motives or why you're 29:58 doing what you're doing. I think maybe the boat, one of 30:01 most valuable lessons is I'm I'm I'm trying to learn by the 30:04 grace of God, 30:05 what's important 30:07 and as always, I'm still learning what's important in 30:10 life. And when I see something this is not so important to me 30:14 and it may be important. Everybody else is like that has 30:17 nothing to a salvation, has nothing to do. We're going to 30:20 spend eternity in and sometimes I because I don't want to pull 30:23 within. I shouldn't be that way. I have to try to balance 30:26 it the right way as to what is important is salvation. That's 30:30 good. And then what we're doing right now for the cause of God 30:34 and then the other is is how 30:37 short life is and yeah, how it you're to assist. Chandler said 30:43 hanging by a thread that, you know, you hear that all time. 30:45 It's just we're just we're lies. What? We're just merely 30:48 by 3 by the grace of God. We're here. What is the grace 30:51 of God? We wouldn't be the enemy doesn't want you here. 30:53 He's he's fighting you every day. He's throwing things at 30:55 you every day. But you know, what we're learning is by the 30:58 grace of God and only to his great strength when we get hit 31:01 by some with of just get back up and say, you know, this is 31:04 today, you know, you know, that you don't throw things are 31:07 going to get better. And so I've learned trying to learn 31:09 the value of at the time that we have in the time that we 31:13 have. I laughed and do the very best that you can. 31:18 And, you know, I've I've had to make decisions. You're making 31:20 decisions every day that what we would do it it in in life. 31:24 And sometimes you have to cut back a little bit in order to 31:27 be in your mind. It's so you can go forward again to our how 31:31 to get whatever my thoughts and my aim is still to go forward 31:35 by the grace of God. But sometime you have to step back 31:38 a little bit, get things together a little bit more and 31:40 kind of, you know, her youth. 31:42 I say again, I see I see people wrote him watching people 31:46 jogging and running right now. I get a little bit jealous. 31:49 >> And that's not right or want to run out of a job, go on a 31:52 run but looks like at the hip fix. So anyone that CA? 31:55 >> You know, and I'm thankful I say they used to see him moving 31:58 around. Think oh, how nice that is. So use what you have for 32:01 the honor goes God. This is time to give. Thanks 32:04 for your health. Would be, you know, real good or whether 32:07 you're struggling with something right now. God is 32:09 greater than all these things. Just get it to him. But he 32:12 still holes in the palm of his hand. So, you know, right now 32:15 I'm learning I'm still learning still trying to look to Jesus 32:19 the Alton finish of our state. And thank you for the 32:21 opportunity to to be on here and share a few thoughts. 32:24 We love both of you. And thank you so much for your heart. 32:28 For evangelism was the talk. And and you know, you always 32:31 say pass to Kenny, you know, you say it's all good. So it's 32:34 all good. Yeah, it's true. You know, we look to the Lord. 32:37 He's one that carries us through. So appreciate both 32:39 you. So so very nice. Said something to him. 32:42 >> Well, he's got the whole world in all right. As they 32:46 came, though. 32:48 >> One girl, huh? It is. And these and it is. And 33:13 >> U 2. 33:22 >> And he's got, though it is. 33:33 >> To and praise the Lord and man. 33:48 >> And grateful that God has everything in his. Thank you so 33:53 much. Pastor Kenya, sister Chris, we love you both were 33:56 going to go to roll right now. Pastor James Rafferty and his 33:59 wife are easy could not be here for with us during 34:02 Thanksgiving. So they did a role. And let's go to that 34:05 right now. 34:07 >> Hi, friends and Happy Thanksgiving. You know, 34:08 Thanksgiving is such a powerful time of the year because it's 34:12 the time when we harvest all this food from the garden. 34:15 Now we have not been gardeners in the past and this year we 34:19 have been gardeners and we have been so blessed favorite place 34:22 to be is in the garden. And we realize that God is the 34:26 ultimate Gardner and in fact, in the Bible, God talks about 34:30 plan teen food or planting gardens in the context. Also of 34:34 righteousness by faith not hear the gospel of salvation as a 34:38 chapter. 61. 61 verse 11 says this. 34:42 >> For as the earth brings forth its bed as the garden 34:45 causes, the things that are sewn in it to spring forth. 34:48 So the Lord, God will cause righteousness and praised to 34:51 spring forth before all the nations. 34:54 >> I love that. You test your parallel here. Gardening with 34:58 righteousness by face this brought forth before all the 35:01 nations. And when you think about Thanksgiving, we're going 35:04 back now to the pilgrims and the reason why things going 35:06 again. 35:08 >> True. I want to point out, though, that when we started 35:10 gardening, you've met the seeds. We were like, wow, 35:14 it's just doesn't look like anything happening. But after a 35:17 while selling it and then watering and sunshine, things 35:20 spring forth and months later, you're amazing. Harvest is so 35:25 exciting. It's for being the where the most grateful for. 35:28 And I was just thinking that's probably how the Thomas felt 35:31 right. They came to this land a year later. The ground must've 35:34 been so verge and hopefully it was pretty fertile for them. 35:38 But I'm sure it was really hard work to plant and and till and. 35:42 >> And when they got the harvest, they must've been so 35:44 excited. They had a hard one coming and they needed that 35:47 food. And so they did at the harvest was they collected all 35:50 their neighbors, the Native Americans and all of them got 35:53 together around a table and just started eating this 35:56 abundant food that Khan and brought for some the so to see 35:59 that they have sown in the ground and that became a 36:01 national holiday for us a time when we can get Thanksgiving to 36:05 God for all the things that he brings forth. The and 36:07 Thanksgiving is usually all about the food, right? It's all 36:10 about the meal. But we forget where it came from. It came 36:13 from the soil comes from the soil. And really, from the hand 36:15 of God, because his hand is the miracle that produces those 36:19 things that we so in fact, we had to gardens this year. 36:22 We had a regular garden and we had compost garden and 36:26 accomplice garden really came out of the compost spot where 36:28 we throw all of our wealth, just a leftover veggies and 36:31 fruit, grab the seat and the scraps. And all of a sudden 36:35 this year, I noticed that there were plants growing up and I 36:37 thought they're not going to make it. You know, there's no 36:39 water out there. But I decided, well, I just try putting some 36:42 water out there said for the sprinkler out there on the 36:44 timing for about 30 minutes and we kept plants growing. Our 36:47 best to mate is clash. It was can lock out there. That's the 36:51 amazing when I thought we need to do this again next year. 36:54 Whatever goes in that conflict probably just in the water and 36:57 that's what God does weed put the seed him accident there on 37:01 purpose. We water and cochran's forth this miracle of food, 37:05 food that we could have for ourselves and food that we can 37:08 also share with our neighbors. And it reminded us of that 37:10 verse includes yesterdays Gliese Estes Chapter 11 verse 37:14 6. So your seed in the morning do not be idle in the evening 37:18 for you. Not know whether one or the other will succeed on 37:21 the regular garden accomplished guard. We don't know it was 37:24 going to succeed or whether both of them alike will be 37:26 good. And both of them were like we're good, which was 37:29 amazing. And now we have food in our backyard. Well, I mean, 37:33 we're talking about the idea that we weren't going to the 37:36 store as much to buy food. This we won't spend as much 37:38 money on food. And we had this extra food that made us want to 37:41 eat more veggies and more for because we didn't want to go to 37:43 waste and also plenty to share with our neighbors. At times we 37:46 tell a neighbor schoolwork the house because we're gonna 3 37:48 Indiana. We can go over there right now. Gives money to 37:51 manage you want because we know the right thing up. We love it 37:54 and we love the fact that this food is homegrown that we 37:57 didn't have to pass decides on it and all those other things. 37:59 They have to make it right. There's nothing like vine 38:03 ripened tomatoes and homegrown peaches. They were delicious 38:06 and the rains. So the want to mount the candle, the peaches 38:10 and nectarines the cucumbers. We would just blast and we're 38:13 so thankful and where we're hopeful. But this year is going 38:17 to be a great Thanksgiving for each one of you. But we want to 38:20 encourage you put your seat in the ground this next spring. 38:24 Make yourself a garden, even if you do it in the little 38:27 containers in your back, patio, your backyard, even if you have 38:30 or don't have a big garden space. We did that one time. 38:32 Go ahead. And so those sea, so those tomato plants and reap 38:36 the benefits, even if just a little bit of banter with the 38:39 benefits of good food that's nutritious for you, it's going 38:42 to take care of your body and in your house and you see God's 38:45 faithfulness at the same time. So we want to wish you a happy 38:49 Thanksgiving to our 3 D and family. 38:52 >> A man and then the love the rash mask. So you do for a full 38:56 God called them here of this industry, of course, pass to. 38:59 James is director of disciple ship here at 3ABN and receive 39:02 works and health ministries and has that brand new health 39:05 program on. 39:06 >> But we love but good to hear from him and see them on 39:09 Thanksgiving. Oh, absolutely. And I like it was gracious to 39:11 about the garden is that, of course I like stuff outside and 39:13 all of that to say what a blessing. They are a to 3ABN. 39:17 >> And now during that role, we added the Bergman's. Jason, 39:20 of course, RC F and Francine on Tran sing being our kids 39:25 network general manager and juniors. Here is Ginger here. 39:28 Yeah, she's high. Haha. 39:31 >> I don't know if the camera can see that, but that she's 39:34 got a little bow. This kind of giving this kind of kind of 39:37 just things so dressed up for Thanksgiving Day hours. Pusher 39:40 is is is chilled as the from some of the hall that just 39:46 later, Tammy, remember that she was killed, but a lot prettier. 39:50 Haha. 39:53 >> And Amanda couldn't be with us here today. But how's Amanda 39:55 Kozlowski will follow drawing very quickly. Yes, she was 39:59 having a math test and no soon meant she wanted to get ready 40:02 to. Yeah. LOL. Hashing Saints giving the yeah. Yeah. I love 40:06 you and loved working in ministry to get there. And so 40:10 you have some crafts here. You know, speaking of 40:14 Thanksgiving, I'm really grateful for the dedicated 40:17 parents and the kids that help support the kids net was 40:20 without all of you. 40:22 >> This would happen to me. And so we have a craft that it 40:26 says Thanksgiving crafting you can find it on. I 3ABN kids DOT 40:30 TV website. But I'm one of the Thanksgiving crass. We have a 40:34 few kids that actually made at Thanksgiving craft. 40:37 >> 0, 4, and some of them made their own version of what we 40:40 have. Daniel Samuel and I. 40:43 >> I say out and so now knee and then we have Rihanna and at 40:49 a meal. 40:50 >> And then we have has a kayak. And they did. He did it 40:53 his own blessing blocks and what he's thankful for, how 40:57 much you know what? I'm so grateful that God is still 41:01 merciful and shows as so many things like he's a Kiowa saying 41:05 his mom and dad, of course, in Jesus and the Holy Spirit that, 41:09 you know, we sometimes take all of the state for granted in. 41:12 I'd like to pass some of these around and you can actually 41:15 write what you're thankful for. So this can be in decoration on 41:19 year. I'm coming down on your table face living time, OK and 41:25 down. You can write on the leaf if you want to you and you can 41:29 write what you thankful for it. 41:31 >> So that's what these markers are, fatter, Yahoo. 41:36 >> You know, I wanted to write a little bit later. But, 41:38 you know, one thing that I'm thankful for is the breath of 41:41 life. And that's good. You know, we we talk about families 41:45 and of course, my family's very much important to me and him 41:48 and 41:49 the presence like when Jesus spoke 41:53 everything into existence and yet he breathed into the 41:56 nostrils. We find out in Genesis 2 for 7, any case life 42:00 and without him, 42:02 they wouldn't be life. And sometimes we take life for 42:04 granted. Yeah, and I'm in John 2021 22 he talks. I have to 42:11 read it. I let me just read it because he talks about 42:15 he bringing peaks and it says so Jesus said to them again, 42:19 peace to you as a father has sent me. I also send you and 42:24 when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to 42:27 them receive the Holy spirit. 42:31 >> And you know, when you talk about 42:35 >> the breath of life, its ads air in motion, we need to have 42:40 that motion to move as God will lead us to. Yeah. And so, 42:45 you know, we need to have that compassion for others. And so 42:48 10 men for me sometimes when you get all that, 42:53 no, restore your life gets hard. 42:56 You want that peace can only come from got from, you know, 42:59 sometimes they talk to you about breathing in for 3 43:02 seconds, holding it for 3 seconds and breathing out for 43:05 the second. And that does help relax you. But it's really 43:08 making that time for governor. And only he can pay back and 43:13 that way, we can have compassion for others. 43:16 >> And so one of the things that, you know, we we have seen 43:19 a notice in life is that 43:22 compassion is getting harder to be aware of. 43:26 You know, people are so busy, they're they're excited about 43:30 their own things. 43:31 And, you know, we we look at the life of Jesus and and we 43:35 notice that 43:37 Jesus was always compassionate about 43:40 all those around him. And so, you know, one of the things 43:44 that we like doing as a family is we like getting to know our 43:47 neighbors. And one of the things that we I would say it's 43:51 a tradition, but it's something we like doing almost a 43:54 tradition. He like sharing our dessert with one of our 43:58 neighbors. That's grants. So that was your neighborhood. 44:02 So every Saturday at most, every 7, it was a great cook. 44:07 So she we have a a neighbor's that 44:10 it's just a husband and wife and their older. And we've 44:14 gotten to know them and we we call them up and we invite 44:19 wean, basically invite ourselves and we we come over 44:23 with a treat and it's so nice to talk with them and get to 44:27 know them and have the compassion because we've 44:31 noticed is we get to find their needs. And that's good. When, 44:35 you know, we get to sit down and talk with them 44:37 and it's so nice because if we get in, you know, get to know 44:40 them. We wouldn't know there needs to. Yeah. What one time 44:44 it was kind of interesting. They were telling about some of 44:48 their issues and one their garbage disposal just failed. 44:52 Don't know how and Francine looks over to me and she goes, 44:55 oh, Jason can fix it and has to Vol sticking in the count. 45:03 I like my hands. Nice and clean. So I get my hands stuck 45:08 in there and I'm going around on looking and now, you know, 45:11 you're just putting your hand and a good. And and I found the 45:17 piece that would stop the garbage disposal. So I I pull 45:21 it out and take it out. 45:24 They were. So how happy they were so excited that someone 45:28 was willing to stick their hand in the garbage disposal on and 45:32 fix something that would have cost normally 5, 6, $100. 45:35 And I think that's something that if we don't get to know 45:39 your neighbors, if you don't get to know, you know, people 45:41 around us, those in need, we'll never know their little needs. 45:46 And I think sometimes the little needs are is what helps 45:50 them understand who Jesus is? Because for many people, 45:54 we're the only Bible that people will ever read. 45:58 And it's really important. And I encourage you 46:01 to go out to your neighbors and your friends and those in need 46:05 and and let them know how much Jesus loves them. And I think 46:10 it's it's you know, we've built a relationship where they don't 46:13 even want us to go. You know, they're like France is like, 46:16 okay, we've got to go no, like, no, no, no, no, stay stay 46:19 longer. But, you know, it's really nice when people. 46:23 >> C. 46:24 >> That there is compassion and that there's people that care 46:28 and then and then it's easy to talk about Jesus. Yeah, you 46:31 know, they're watching the the program with Thompsonville 46:34 Master John's with John, but it. But it took some time it 46:40 took over a year of just getting to know them and 46:43 finding out what their needs were. And and that's what it's 46:46 all about. 46:47 >> The yeah, you know, I like that, you know, growing up my 46:50 dad kind of call it like a sermon in shoes, right? You 46:52 know, you just become available to their needs and then, 46:55 you know, whatever they need for, like fixing a garbage 46:57 disposal or maybe taking the trash out or whatever their 46:59 needs are taken and dessert. And every weekend you said, 47:03 is that right? Just about us. Yeah. But then those spiritual 47:06 questions and come after that, you know, which is really need 47:09 a transplant and so verse that good. 47:11 >> Puts it all together. And that's found in Galatians 47:14 6, 2, and it says Bear one another's burden and so fulfil 47:20 the loft Christ. You know, we need to love our brothers and 47:24 sisters and because love is is is a commodity. That is his 47:29 waning and more we see, you know, our lives are so busy 47:35 that it's hard to stop and set aside time and spend it with 47:39 neighbors and friends and and those people who really need 47:42 us. 47:43 >> I love that. Yeah, no, it's going to say we're thankful for 47:45 both of you. You know that for you know, you being here, 47:48 you coming up on 6 years now. Hear from you in a family being 47:51 here. And, you know, I think about how God brings people 47:54 here just when we need people to know you guys just fit in 47:57 and what a blessing. So thank you so much. I get to work with 48:00 you quite a bit. Jason's, a lot of fun, you know, like we're 48:02 talking, Mister Dan, You know, God continues to provide for 48:04 this ministry and miraculous ways when people look at it 48:07 from the outside, like, how is this supposed to work? But 48:09 Gaza, one that doesn't provide the timing is so d***. I mean, 48:14 Brandon Beane take one or the other. You know, both of you 48:17 can do stepped right in the news and we never missed a beat 48:21 with. Yeah. Going all just came. Keep, you know, going. 48:26 >> Owing it's it's just percent. Haha on and the Lord. 48:32 Yeah. And working together. You know, it's it's a great. 48:36 Thank you. Thank you. See that before we transition. I just 48:39 thought maybe we should read what we wrote on our Little 48:41 pin, OK? I like how you guys wrote on these little. That's 48:44 awesome college. This I messed up. You know, I like to have, 48:53 would you write? 48:54 >> Go ahead. And so I put Jesus in a pub on E was on its nice 48:58 as my baby. So OK, then, of course, are family, which 49:02 includes, of course, are 3ABN family. So good. 49:06 >> Britain much. But, you know, that was on her Arkansas home. 49:14 >> He have to do this. And my family, including my precious 49:18 has been. I think she just added that because I haha, 49:28 I love you and a friend and so and health and 3 AB under 49:35 during. 49:37 >> Yeah. 49:38 >> Restoration tales and of cool. Huge family friends 49:47 Ministry the word salvation. It's good to have some Francine 49:51 on Europe. You know, I did write breath of life, but I 49:54 also think of the word purpose like God gave us a purpose. 49:58 Yeah. I mean, yes. I wanted say family and everything, of 50:01 course. But sure, you know, purpose guy is the reason why 50:06 we do what we do know that I'm sure I hope that you are also 50:09 motivated to go about God's business, whatever he wants you 50:13 to do. 50:15 >> Yeah, but you Jason, see something written on your so I 50:17 put love for others is Jesus loved us. So that's great. 50:20 You know, she's is giving us all talents and it is a great 50:24 time being this time of year to share those talons and really 50:29 represent Jesus and and let people know that he's good. 50:33 It's good to be one of us. And it is a blessing to be with 50:36 all of you and working with you and and then be a part of this 50:40 ministry, which it is amazing to see how Jesus just moves in. 50:45 This minister is not something that I agree. It's is humbling 50:47 to be a part of the missing 3ABN what he hath. 50:49 >> Yeah. And might actually I should I have a lot of space to 50:52 write. I shouldn't. I like the idea right here on the skin of 50:54 this but actually have on the leaf. I have the 3ABN family. 50:57 Was that to you at home or so, OK, you should, too, of of you 51:01 at home and so friends. And I like, though, again, give the 51:04 website thing go to because it might be little kids today, 51:07 Thanksgiving Day. 51:08 >> Parents like we need to have them work on a craft. So I tell 51:10 them really baby and kids dot TV and you'll see all about 51:13 crass fight there and weakens think it's a bad time who also 51:16 helps us with these crass and making them really come to 51:19 life. So mom, just be motivated. This is something 51:22 you can do with your family in power. I love that. Happy 51:25 Thanksgiving to the air. And ginger were going to trade 51:30 Allen during the dens ease. Up next. 51:32 >> Tellem and a happy Thanksgiving to Yahoo. You 51:36 know, as well keep is the pumpkin here. And for that, 51:39 I keep my pumpkins also anchor at the law. So I get some or 51:44 you go. I just get it from here. Get it right here as 51:47 great. Yeah, absolutely. I think the disease 51:50 redundancies are coming on next past. John density, of course, 51:53 it's feeding Latino general manager. 51:55 >> And misses then Z is his distant. They've been here for 51:58 many years. We love both of them dearly. So come on. 52:02 You've got a good so very grateful to have them as part 52:05 of the ministry. Pastor Johnny is one of the longest tenured 52:09 employees here. But yeah, yeah. You know everyone and happy 52:14 Thanksgiving. 52:15 >> Yeah. It's getting to do everything she read them. 52:18 Yeah. Mostly. You love your haha. Haha. 52:34 >> Pastor Johnny, so how are the boys are you doing today? 52:37 And what is marriage? So how around Thanksgiving Day doing 52:41 well. 52:42 >> One is married, Samuel and just completed or a little over 52:45 a year now, you know, and still happy. Hood and Caleb, of 52:51 course he says that. Not right now. I'm not ready for that. 52:55 Yeah, the boys have grown up. 52:57 >> Yeah. And so yeah. I watch them grow up. That's how to. 53:02 >> Haha Banks gave haha each other hard time. Who? How when 53:15 you first came the tree? A B? A 53:17 >> hot? Yeah. Oh, I think I was to you know, I think that was 53:24 24 to 22. 24 for one. I can carry a gun. 1994. 0, 9, 53:34 foreign down anywhere, right? 53:36 >> Yes. You need 1989. 89. Well, time has said Yeah, 53:41 yeah, yeah. 53:42 >> About to complete 9 oa and when you came from Chicago, 53:46 you'd 30 53:47 shares later. You you still live in hair? I know I didn't 53:51 ever let him go hold. Haha. It was a good move. I really 53:55 thought the Lord Jesus would have been here by now. For some 53:58 reason he has such mercy. They got has touched mercy upon 54:02 us. That in Dormer says still open. 54:05 >> True. True story. What you say what these 2 is what you 54:09 get and they're great people and lord, we get a lot with 54:12 each other, especially Tatum. But day to a story we started 54:17 having back 54:19 30 years ago, somebody so we should have an employee on the 54:22 managers employee of the month. So the first month everybody 54:26 voted on a you know, we've maybe only had 20 year 30 54:29 employees most of the time. So they voted on it and said 54:32 John and ends everybody. So it's not a density of state 54:35 employee them up. So second month, everybody voted on. 54:38 It said. 54:39 >> John and ends. It should be the had them up. So the 3rd 54:43 onto my hand up the 3rd month, everybody voted on again. 54:47 It was John and ends a month finally there. So let's just 54:50 quit that nobody's ever going to write his name is yeah. 54:55 So we never had again. Haha, you might have even won a 54:58 couple Taha. Honorary Johnny didn't Ziad Bahaa. 55:06 >> Has been a blessing to be here. You know, I was thinking 55:12 so many miracles. Dillard has done so many 55:16 miraculous things that you say we have seen and heard too much 55:19 to say God doesn't exist because he has done so much. 55:23 It's amazing. 55:25 >> We're coming down to the end of the for this first hour. 55:27 We're going to keep the dense is over for the start of the 55:29 next hour. But just in about a minute, we'll start sharing and 55:32 then we'll pick it up on the other and maybe share something 55:35 God's taught you this last year or a journey that you've had 55:38 with him or something with the family home. 55:41 >> She's looking at me. Haha. 55:44 Well, you know. 55:48 >> When we consider, I think I like to read it when we 55:50 consider 55:52 that 3ABN is that mending broken people network 55:56 and the fact that we Venus on the air all the time, 24 hours 56:00 a day, you know, we're living in such an age that you need to 56:03 preach the gospel. 24 hours a day before awaken all at all, 56:07 all hours of the day and 56:10 verse to has been on my mind lately is Psalm 16 11. You'll 56:15 show me the path of life. That's what we me and us. 56:17 Yeah, this in your presence is fullness of joy. Your right 56:21 hand are pleasures forevermore and for, you know, as far as 56:26 mending broken people, if people realize that in the 56:29 presence of the Lord, there's joy, there's healing and 56:33 there's hope and it's great. This is what the world needs 56:36 right now. 56:37 >> And I love that in the presence of the lower there is 56:39 joy. There is healing. There is hope and that's for you at 56:43 home. Don't go anywhere. We have a full hour and a half 56:47 coming up next with more than 3ABN family. We're going to 56:50 continue with the DNC's, have some more music. I think 10 and 56:54 then trade out some more of your 3ABN, family. Now that we 56:58 love you and that we pray for you are so grateful. 57:01 >> To spend this Thanksgiving together. We'll be right 57:05 [MUSIC] 57:10 [MUSIC] |
