00:01 Well I hope you've had as much fun as we have
00:02 'cause this program is gone by so fast,
00:04 hasn't it?
00:06 Yes.
00:07 And we're excited
00:08 because someone else special has joined us...
00:10 That we love with all our hearts...
00:11 Yes, we do.
00:13 And that's our cousin Sherry Lazorchak.
00:15 But she's my niece.
00:17 That's right.
00:19 And, Sherry, you're from Johnson City.
00:22 I am.
00:24 And we're from Southern Illinois.
00:25 This is where our daddy grew up,
00:27 it's right down here,
00:28 and Sherry, you are...
00:30 What church do you go to?
00:31 Baptist Church.
00:33 You go to Baptist Church, in fact,
00:34 your daddy was the Baptist pastor, right?
00:36 He was. Yes.
00:37 And so I was really, you've got a precious family.
00:41 You really do. We loved your husband John.
00:42 Thank you. Yes.
00:44 And, yes, Johnny used to, we got to call him Johnny,
00:45 you know...
00:47 'Cause that's what we grew up calling him.
00:48 Yeah, we call him Johnny all of our life,
00:49 so we got to keep calling him Johnny.
00:51 You know, but you were telling, said,
00:53 you didn't grew up a Seventh-day Adventist
00:55 and you were in the prep kitchen earlier with us
00:58 and she was tasting some of the food.
01:00 What do you tell?
01:02 You tasted some of that burger and Linda's Cowboy Spaghetti,
01:05 what do you think?
01:06 I think, I couldn't believe it wasn't meat.
01:08 It tasted just like meat.
01:10 It's delicious.
01:11 Because you would normally cook hamburger
01:13 and it's just like that?
01:14 Yes, I would, yes.
01:15 Yeah, and that was,
01:17 that's a pretty good substitute,
01:18 isn't it? It is.
01:19 So now, folks, you've seen and heard
01:21 from somebody that normally would eat hamburger.
01:22 That's really good, isn't it?
01:24 Yes, it is.
01:25 I'm gonna switch actually.
01:29 Yay!
01:32 And you also...
01:34 I mean since you're married to John,
01:37 you had a lot of time with our grandma too.
01:40 Yes.
01:41 So you had lot of,
01:43 you knew when we were making homemade noodles,
01:44 you had grandma's homemade noodles.
01:46 Oh, yes, they were so good.
01:47 And you had grandma's cookie,
01:49 and I'm sure grandma showed you,
01:51 she probably showed you how to make homemade noodles.
01:53 Oh, yes.
01:54 In fact, Sherry and Johnny lived next door to grandma.
01:59 Right next door. Right next door.
02:01 That's right. That was a blessing.
02:03 Yeah, it was such a blessing. It was.
02:05 Really too, we miss grandma a lot.
02:06 In fact when I first started Kids' Time,
02:08 grandma, I used to,
02:09 when I'd be done taping it for the day,
02:11 I'd run over to grandma's
02:12 and I have supper with her
02:14 or bring her something or cook for her there in.
02:16 We had such a special time,
02:18 it just doesn't seen the same without,
02:20 you know, without grandma
02:22 and I can't wait till we all get to heaven and,
02:24 you know...
02:25 What a glorious time that will be.
02:27 Amen.
02:28 That's right, you know,
02:30 but I thought some of Cinda's Spaetzle,
02:31 I want to see if you thought that...
02:33 Taste it like grandma's.
02:34 Yeah, tell if it taste like anything like grandma's.
02:36 So now that,
02:38 you know, the test is on.
02:39 Here you go, sis, the pressure is on.
02:42 Delicious.
02:44 Is it good? Very good.
02:45 Very good.
02:46 Can you match? Exact grandmas?
02:48 It does.
02:49 And it doesn't have egg in it.
02:51 It doesn't?
02:53 Can you imagine someone making
02:55 something like that and no egg,
02:56 no dairy?
02:58 No, I can't.
02:59 And so see, now you can make this.
03:01 Maybe I can have another taste?
03:04 Very good.
03:08 We'll send some home with you,
03:10 so Johnny can try.
03:11 Oh, he'd love that.
03:13 That's good. We'd do that.
03:14 That's right and wouldn't that be good
03:16 in some of your soups as you're...
03:17 Sherry is a really good cook, guys.
03:19 She really is herself, so...
03:20 And you know what I love is,
03:22 Johnny and Steevie went out with them too,
03:25 you guys would go and get mushrooms
03:28 out in the wood.
03:30 Oh, yes.
03:31 We've talked about you're doing that before by the way.
03:33 Really? Yeah.
03:34 Oh, wow.
03:35 Remember, we've shared that on the air
03:37 before talking about how Johnny
03:38 and you come to home and would bring us mushrooms.
03:40 Yes. Yes.
03:41 In fact, he just got some
03:43 and gave them to his sister like,
03:45 what, about this how much to our guest.
03:47 Oh, wow. Yeah.
03:49 They're so good.
03:51 They know how to do it.
03:53 And I think they learnt from grandpa.
03:54 Oh, probably.
03:56 Well, you have to know because otherwise,
03:57 you could get something that was poisonous or something...
03:59 Yeah, you have to know what you're doing.
04:00 You have to know your mushrooms.
04:02 They're hard to find too
04:03 'cause they said sometimes they find them up in the tree.
04:06 Oh, they get out on their four wheelers
04:08 and go let for them.
04:09 That's right.
04:10 Well, Sherry, you saw how easy
04:13 some of these dishes are to make,
04:15 and there's no meat in them and no diary products,
04:18 so now you can go home and share them with the family.
04:20 Yes. Yeah.
04:21 Yay. I'm excited.
04:24 Thank you so much for coming on here...
04:25 Thank you for coming...
04:27 This is Sherry's first time here
04:28 so we're really excited that she came,
04:30 and mom, we're so excited that you
04:32 joined us for this program today.
04:34 Anytime we can have our mom with us,
04:36 it is just a really special time,
04:38 right, sisters?
04:39 And our cousin.
04:40 Yeah, Wouldn't be wonderful,
04:42 there will be no more goodbyes in heaven,
04:43 we all be together for a, you know,
04:45 forever for all eternity,
04:47 all of God's children gathered around his banquet table
04:49 and we can't wait for that day.
04:51 Amen.
04:52 So until next time,
04:54 may all your meals be seasoned with God's love.
04:58 Bye-bye, everybody.
05:00 Bye.
