You know this passage in 2 Corinthians I just 00:16 want to look at a couple verses at the end of 2 Corinthians 00:20 chapter 5 verse 19 and this is to emphasize the point of what 00:25 God has done for the entire world. It says that is that God 00:29 was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing 00:39 their trespasses to them and has committed to us the word of 00:44 reconciliation. And this is what makes a difference to me when I 00:48 hear this because what Paul says next is this: Now then we are 00:54 ambassadors for Christ as though God were pleading through us 00:58 we implore you on Christ's behalf be reconciled to God. 01:08 The verb be is be reconciled, be what I have declared you to be. 01:15 Thank you so much. Thank you for sharing that. Lindy. 01:18 And likewise, I have a text that really demonstrates the focus 01:23 on the uplifted Savior and what He's done for all of us and how 01:27 much He loves us. It's in Romans chapter 5 verse 6 says: For when 01:30 we were still without strength in due time Christ died for the 01:35 ungodly. Verse 8: But God demonstrates His own love toward 01:39 us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for the 01:42 ungodly and then verse 10: For if when we were enemies we 01:46 were reconciled to God through the death of His Son much more 01:50 having been reconciled we shall be saved by His life. 01:55 Beautiful. Brian. 01:56 Yeah now for a text. Right after Revelation 14 which is the three 02:00 angels' messages comes Revelation 18. Another angel 02:03 that comes and verse 1 says: After these things, I saw another 02:06 angel coming from heaven having great authority and the earth 02:10 was illuminated with his glory. God is still waiting for a 02:14 people that will reflect His character. He's going to do this 02:18 it's His work. But the world is going to be illuminated. 02:21 Amen. Praise the Lord.
