01:07 Hello, welcome to 3ABN Today. My name is John Dinzey and it's
01:10 a blessing for me to be here along with my wife, Idalia. We
01:14 are blessed and we are also delighted that you decided to
01:17 join us.
01:19 That's right. I know you're anticipating the 3ABN Today
01:21 program. Well, why? Because the Lord has provided different
01:26 ministries in which the word of the Lord is being shared, the
01:30 gospel is being preached and we wonder which way, which creative
01:36 way, what can we do to share the three angels messages, the
01:39 word of God, the word of salvation. Well during this hour
01:43 we're going to learn more about a ministry that is partnering
01:46 really we're partners in the preaching of the gospel.
01:48 That's right. So if you've heard the words Thunder in the Holy
01:52 Land, some of you may know, some of you may not know. We want to
01:55 introduce you to the president and the vice president of

03:25 blessed name of Jesus, Amen.
03:28 Well we have a scripture and Idalia if you would lead us into
03:33 the scripture.
03:34 Sure. Well the scripture for this hour we're going to share
03:38 is I Timothy chapter 6 verse 13. I Timothy 6:13. And the word of
03:44 the Lord says: I give thee charge in the sight of God who
03:51 quickeneth all things and before Christ Jesus who before Pontius
03:56 Pilot witnessed a good confession. Amen. That was
04:03 I Timothy 6:13.
04:05 And this scripture was chosen by the Byrd's. We're going to hear
04:08 more about this in a moment unless you want to make a quick
04:11 comment right now.
04:12 Well I think that this text is profound because I was reading
04:16 through my Bible again for the first time because every time
04:19 it's the first time. And I read this text and I'd read it a
04:25 number of times but it's one of those introductory verses that
04:30 are passed over very quickly. So I went back and I said, what is
04:35 a witness? What is a witness? A witness is someone who goes to
04:40 a courtroom and says I saw this or a witness is someone who saw
04:44 something or both you know. So I thought about this verse and
04:49 it says Christ who before Pontius Pilot witnessed a good
04:54 confession. So did He witness one, did He just see it or did
05:00 He witness one, did He give one And so I said, Wow I want to
05:02 understand this verse so I actually went back to that scene
05:06 where He's before Pontius Pilot and I thought what did He
05:11 witness there. And there's Pontius Pilot, he's trying Jesus
05:17 and Jesus does the silent treatment. You know He's one of
05:20 those strong men, silent type. And he doesn't say a word and
05:27 Pilot gets angry and he says don't you answer me? Don't you
05:31 know I have the power to crucify you or to release you. And then
05:36 Jesus witnessed a good confession. He said, You would
05:41 have no power over me unless my Father in heaven gave it to you.
05:46 (Amen) And I think we forget who God is. That's why something bad
05:53 happens we go, Oh no, what are we going to do? But we forget
05:57 that God's in charge. Children of Israel down at the Red Sea.
06:00 Oh, what are we going to do? Oh we're out of water out in the
06:05 desert. We got two million people. What are we doing...
06:07 So I think we have to come to the place where we have to
06:10 remember God is God. He loves us and He's in control and there's
06:15 nothing that comes to us except that He first weighs it in the
06:20 balance of His scale. He knows, Okay they're ready for that next
06:24 test, they're ready for that experience that's going to let
06:28 me use them like He used Job. How many people have been
06:32 encouraged by the story of Job? But He had to weigh it and say
06:36 okay, Job is ready. And then Job witnessed a good confession and
06:39 Daniel and the three worthies and so on and so forth. So these
06:45 tests and trials are opportunities for us to
06:48 witness our God is on the throne He's still in control. We don't
06:52 have to sweat, we don't have to fret. We get what we get and we
06:57 don't pitch a fit. That's what one of my board members used to
07:00 say, We get what we get, and we don't pitch a fit. We just trust
07:03 We just wait and we watch and all of us from time to time are
07:10 in a time where we have to come to that place. We have to just
07:12 say, I'm going to trust God with this one. I'm not going to fret
07:15 I'm not going to get agitated. So...
07:19 That was beautiful. Thank you so much. I'll really remember that
07:23 message and you had to share it with the community of 3ABN
07:29 worldwide so they too can remember that God is faithful.
07:34 And it's good as you shared, you know it's good to ask these
07:39 questions. Was Jesus witnessing somebody witness or was He the
07:44 witness. Very good. And so Pastor Byrd, you've been in
07:47 ministry for many years and we're going to hear a little bit

11:35 will be encouraged and desire to go to the promised land,

11:43 It was interesting to me that the words are, On Jordan's
11:46 stormy banks I...We're on this side of Jordan and it's stormy
11:51 And we have to witness a good confession. Our God's still in
11:54 control (Amen) I'm going to trust in Him, I'm going to wait
11:57 on Him, I'm going to serve Him no matter what position I've
11:59 been placed in. Even if I'm like Joseph, thrown in prison. I
12:05 always thought that Joseph had lived in Potiphar's house for 10
12:07 years and then he was in prison for three. I'm not sure where I
12:11 got that idea but that's what I always believed. And then I read
12:15 a Jewish tradition that says no he was actually in prison for 10

12:23 wherever you find yourself be faithful. Say my God's still in
12:28 control. I don't have to fret.
12:33 Well your ministry is Questline Productions. Tell us a little
12:36 bit more about it. How can people be inspired to know more
12:43 about Questline Productions. Why is it that you exist?
12:46 Well Questline Productions has been around since, well,
12:50 2010, 2011
12:53 when we started videoing Thunder in the Holy Land. Of course,
12:55 that's been airing here with all of your fine programming at 3ABN
13:00 for what, 10 years now so we've been here. But what many people
13:04 don't know is that it's not just Christian entertainment. It's
13:06 actually designed to be a Bible study. And when you use it with
13:10 the paper lessons that come with it, it is amazing. Amazing
13:15 results have come because this one pastor from up in Canada had
13:20 57 baptisms and five rebaptisms in just 24 months using this
13:30 empowering his laity and if you use it the way it's designed to
13:33 be used like Pastor Pavel Goia did, you know he had 53 baptisms
13:38 in 12 months so I know that using Thunder works. People say
13:46 I want to share but I'm a little insecure about my speaking. I'm
13:50 not a John, I'm not a Mark Finley, I'm not a Shawn Boonstra
13:56 I'm not a Bradshaw but people can do this. They can push the
13:59 play button, watch the 30 minutes of video and then go
14:02 through the impression questions which are all ready and done.
14:05 And so anybody can share their faith. In fact, I get people you
14:09 know...If I go out and give a sparkling Bible study and I can
14:14 sparkle and then people get in the car with me afterwards that
14:17 I'm training to give Bible studies and they go Pastor I
14:19 could never do that. Then you're actually defeating yourself. So
14:25 now I just push play and they get in the car afterwards and
14:28 they go you went to school for this? I could do this. And
14:33 that's a paradigm shift. Anybody can do this even young people
14:35 can do this.
14:36 Yeah, we do hear them say that When they...when we do a
14:41 Thunder training this is so... I've been wanting to...they've
14:46 felt the call to have Bible studies with somebody or
14:48 a small group
14:50 but they just don't know how and they look at that and they go
14:52 I can do that! I can do that.
14:55 For those that have never watched a program, maybe there's
15:03 some radio listeners and they just listen to radio all the
15:06 time, what's in the program that will be of interest to them?
15:11 So every episode of Thunder in the Holy Land and thus the title
15:15 Thunder in the Holy Land every episode is a teaching of Jesus.
15:18 And every time Jesus spoke, every time he opened his mouth
15:22 it would cause a storm of controversy like I and My Father
15:25 are One. Stone Him. (The stormy banks of Jordan) Yeah. So every
15:31 episode is something, Jesus taught. I discovered Baptists
15:36 believe in Jesus (that's right) and Lutherans believe in Jesus
15:39 and Pentecostals and Mormons and even Muslims believe in Jesus.
15:44 Buddhists believe in Jesus. So I figured let's start with what
15:47 Jesus taught. So every episode is a teaching of Jesus that can
15:51 be easily shared and we can then be a witness by sharing what He
15:55 has taught.
15:57 Pastor Byrd is there a charge for this when they go
16:00 to your web page?
16:02 So all the paper lessons are free. They can purchase the DVDs
16:07 The retail price on that if you want to buy it right here from
16:11 3ABN or on our website is normally $325 but while I'm here

16:26 number, sorry, if they call our number we're going to make it
16:28 available for just $99, the whole set.
16:31 Wonderful. Well it seems like you have this desire, this
16:37 passion to reach out to others. What brings this about, what
16:41 motivates you, why do this?
16:43 Well I'm passionate about sharing Jesus because first I
16:51 want Jesus to come. I've lived here too long, I have seen too
16:58 much death. I've been to the hospital where a mother has
17:01 thrown herself on the chest of her son who's died. I was at the
17:07 hospital where they had to pull the life support on a man who
17:10 had a massive brain hemorrhage. The pain of watching the family
17:15 watch their loved one pass into eternity. I've been to the home
17:22 of a woman who lost her baby and she was this big, she was
17:31 tiny. I held her in my hand. My brother was killed in Vietnam.
17:36 I could keep going. You know as a pastor we see a lot of death.
17:40 Just about...well not probably as much as a doctor but just
17:44 about as much as anyone who isn't a doctor. And I want to go
17:48 home. I want to take as many people as I can with me. It's so
17:53 very critical to take people to heaven with us.
17:58 Right away I connected with that because like you said many of us
18:02 do witness moments like that and we long for Jesus to come. And
18:06 you know I do have a friend that is doing her first Bible study
18:11 and she's so excited. She said I didn't even know I could do this
18:15 but what was holding her back is that she didn't have
18:19 something like what you're offering. So I definitely want
18:24 my set of videos so I can not only study and go through it as
18:32 a member of the church, it is nice the refresh our memories
18:36 you know and do the Bible study but encourage others to spend
18:39 time in the word.
18:41 I've had several pastors say to me, you know we've taught this
18:46 before. Yes, I know. And we know this. But we're learning things
18:53 on this. So good for them.
18:56 Well you're working on something new? Tell us what's going on.
19:01 Well we're working on a brand new series called I Met God, and
19:08 when we were...when we produced Thunder in the Holy Land we were
19:10 then asked by multiple language groups, can we have something
19:14 like thunder in our language? And my answer was very easy, No
19:19 I do not have the gift of tongues. If you both have the
19:27 gift of tongues, you can speak in at least two languages. I can
19:29 speak in one and asttei an athadth Kalila in Arabic and
19:34 petito in Spanish but I don't have the gift of tongues and so
19:39 that's too difficult but the Lord has shown us that we can
19:42 do it if we use state-of-the-art equipment to do a preproduction
19:46 model instead of a post production model. So the Lord
19:50 has anointed us, has guided us. We sold our home. We dedicated
19:54 all the profits from that into a new studio there in Cleveland,
20:00 Tennessee. So we are going to be producing I Met God for the
20:03 languages of the world. It'll be in four mini series: I Met the
20:05 God of Science, I Met the God of Health, I Met the God of
20:10 Prophecy, which by the way, is an anchor point for us. Why do
20:15 you believe in a God you can't see and can't smell and can't
20:19 taste and can't touch? Why do you believe in a God like that?
20:22 Well the answer is prophecy because how can someone say
20:26 hundreds of years in advance this is going to happen just
20:28 like this and it happens. Because there's a God and He's
20:34 really there. So the God of Prophecy. And then it's not
20:38 enough just to know about a God who does amazing things but that
20:43 God wants to have an intimate personal relationship with you.
20:46 And so the next part of that series is I'm not the God of
20:51 Relationship. So these programs are going to air on 3ABN and how
20:55 many languages does 3ABN now broadcast in John?
20:59 Well, right now we have English, Spanish, French, Russian, and
21:07 we're about to embark in other languages.
21:10 So we are going to produce I Met God for all those languages and
21:14 many others. If we produce it in 15 chosen languages we will
21:19 cover 95 percent of the earth's population. But then we want to
21:23 also, get that other five percent We want to do it in some of
21:27 these obscure languages with native speakers speaking their
21:30 own dialect to their own people for their own people. So that's
21:35 what our intention is for that. And once these programs are
21:38 produced there's not going to be any charge. They're going to
21:41 be available free. So people can put it on their phone, their
21:45 computers, they can put it on their websites, they can give it
21:48 to all their church members they can give it to all their pastors
21:51 they can put it on local television. It's just there,
21:54 take it and run with it, get the gospel out to the world because
21:56 Jesus said when the gospel goes to all the nations He'd come
22:01 back. He could come back in our lifetime. We can get this done.
22:05 We've been building the studio for the past...well really
22:14 building since about December. December was when the walls went
22:19 up in nine hours, because they're concrete, thick concrete
22:23 walls that are poured at a factory and just brought in and
22:27 we watched then just get set up. I think we have a picture of it.
22:31 Don't we John?
22:34 Yep, I think we have a picture.
22:38 We're almost completed with it although we are a little short
22:41 on the funds so we're praying for that last $120,000 to
22:47 complete the studio. And you can see the picture of the walls
22:51 there and it actually has the roof on there. And the floors
22:56 were poured on February 28 and you know how in the creation
23:03 story how God created the spaces first, the first three days He
23:08 created space and then the next three days He filled those
23:13 spaces. So that's been our prayer lately. Lord fill those
23:19 spaces because we need equipment because it's very specialized
23:25 equipment. We have equipment that we can continue to film
23:30 Pastors and hosts into Thunder in the Holy Land but it's very
23:33 specialized equipment to do what we're wanting to do with the
23:37 languages so that we can just bring in language group after
23:39 language group to that studio speaking their own native tongue
23:44 in their own dialect to their own people. And so that is our
23:49 big prayer that we keep going to that...It's way bigger than we
23:53 can even think of. But God's asked us to think big and pray
24:00 big. And so we're praying that He will fill those spaces.
24:06 What you're doing is very important. You know even when I
24:09 was talking to Danny many years ago about us having a Spanish
24:13 channel, 3ABN used to translate the English programs into
24:18 Russian and people were responding very well, but when
24:23 Russian speakers, when we started producing programs in
24:25 Russian the impact, the amount of requests for Bible studies
24:30 increased exponentially. It was remarkable. So the idea of
24:34 bringing in the speakers to speak the language will really
24:38 be more attractive to people.
24:41 But a lot of them is all they have...and we had someone from
24:46 France called us and said we just don't have stuff like Thunder in
24:48 the Holy Land. Can we dub over? And that's one way of doing it
24:52 and a lot of them are accustomed to dubbing. Of course the voices
24:56 don't necessarily match male and female and so forth but they do
25:00 have that but it's so precious in my heart that they could have
25:05 their own people speaking to them and I have traveled enough
25:09 to where when people are speaking English to me but
25:12 they're from another language sometimes I can't understand
25:15 what they're saying. You know they pronounce the words so much
25:19 different and their accent and I get some of it and we want these
25:25 people to get all of it.
25:26 Fantastic. Yeah I understand that that land was donated where
25:32 Five acres, yeah.
25:34 Praise the Lord. Is that the one in Cleveland?
25:37 Yeah, it's Cleveland.
25:38 Yes, it's in Tennessee. But we built a studio and then four
25:42 offices, you know green room and that kind of thing and...
25:48 So you've seen the Lord's blessing and guidance in these
25:53 projects you're doing.
25:54 Well we've not only seen the Lord's blessing and guidance but
25:57 you know when you see it come up in a physical way, you know,
26:01 like the walls going up in December. February the floors
26:04 were all poured and that was really exciting to watch then go
26:08 in and they went in so soupy. It was just a soupy, soupy mess.
26:12 We got a picture of that. And by that night they were already
26:15 buffing out the floors and as they were buffing out the floors
26:17 and as they were buffing out the floors I thought this is
26:20 amazing that they're hard enough to be
26:21 standing on just after today. And then in April the drywall
26:27 went in so the drywall is now up. It's been all mudded. It's
26:33 all finished. We're going to be painting that here, Lord willing
26:37 starting next week. And now we're working on finishing the
26:41 outside of the building. We're putting up shakes there on the
26:45 top and then we're going to get it painted. We're putting up
26:48 fascia and the soffit. And so that is where we're excited to
26:53 see just you know physically the Lord building this space that
26:57 He's going to then turn around and use it in a mighty way.
27:00 I picture five. I just want to say we want to confess a good
27:08 witness of what God has done. I can't tell you how many times
27:10 we go up there. We're renting three miles away from there and
27:15 we go up there and just say look what God has done (two voices)
27:21 So when we see that huge amount of money that we have to raise
27:24 for the equipment we just remind ourselves what God has done thus
27:29 far. And He's not just going to drop us off. We're His people.
27:35 We don't have that money. We don't have another piece of
27:37 property to sell to try to get that equipment so we just...as
27:44 Psalm 37:7 says: Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him
27:52 A lot of time we want to make things happen but sometimes it's
27:58 not always His way. And of course God is seldom early but
28:03 never too late.
28:05 And the devil nips at our heels you don't have enough money to
28:08 finish the building. You've run out of money. In fact, we have
28:14 about $4000 in the bank right now, that's it. So we don't have
28:18 the money to finish and some people might say at this point
28:19 Well you know I don't know if you're going to be able to make
28:23 it you know. Did you count the cost? (Speaking jibberish) the
28:31 devil does that. And he starts to get us agitated but Karen has
28:36 a passage from Psalms that talks about fretting.
28:39 Yeah well that same verse goes on: Do not fret because
28:42 of him who prospers in his way or the man who brings evil
28:47 schemes to pass. You know, do not fret. It only causes harm in
28:54 the New King James verse 8 Do not fret. It only causes
28:57 harm.
28:59 So we don't fret, we just trust. We make a good confession, God
29:01 built this building. We get up there and the sun is shining on
29:05 it and the birds are singing and such a peaceful location. We
29:09 think God is doing something, God is doing something.
29:12 You say the birds are singing, is it you and your wife or the
29:15 birds are singing. (Laughter) Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
29:20 You know it is fascinating to see how the Lord has provided
29:25 for your ministry and this ministry and all the ministries
29:28 that are laboring to honor and glorify the Father. If I be
29:34 lifted up and that's what we want to do, lift up Jesus for
29:38 people to learn of Him and get to know Him. So all these trials
29:43 and needs as He has provided I'm sure has fed your faith,
29:48 strengthened your faith.
29:50 So has 3ABN who has gone before us. You know we read the story
29:55 of what God did, of course, this is the beginning of what we
30:01 expect but just to hear the stories of how God just led when
30:08 you had so little and so nothing
30:09 Exactly. Well you know the Lord parts the waters. You know, He
30:15 is still doing miracles in this century. Every day is a miracle.
30:20 And we're all waiting for a miracle. I don't know what
30:23 miracle you're waiting on but wait on the Lord. Be patient.
30:26 I know it's hard to wait but you know delight yourself in His
30:31 faithfulness. God is faithful. Now you have this development
30:34 going on. You have the studio, you have the building, what's
30:37 next.
30:40 Well the next phase is that Karen and I just were out at
30:44 Las Vegas and we looked at all of the equipment.
30:46 Las Vegas! What were you doing there? Our ears perked up.
30:51 Were you gambling?
30:53 No. And this is what I say about Las Vegas: Where sin did abound
30:57 grace did much more abound. So anyway we were in Las Vegas and
31:02 we actually have a picture of that. This is a sign that they
31:08 had in the building. It says: NAB Show and then it's Where
31:13 Something comes to Life. I think it's where technology comes to
31:15 life. But we strategically stood over that and we said NAB Show
31:19 Where I Met God Comes to Life.
31:21 Where they show all the equipment you know for the
31:27 studio.
31:30 So we stopped by the many booths We talked to the vendors, we
31:31 talked to the lighting people. We talked to people at the
31:36 different booths of the equipment we needed. And a big
31:40 part of our work that's going to be done is green screen. And so
31:44 we're going to be in the ProSight Wall and what this will
31:47 allow us to do...We got a little video here...and what this will
31:50 allow us to do as we watch this clip. This is really amazing.
31:55 When you first look at this clip there's a lady holding a bottle
31:58 of water and she's standing in front of a green screen so when
32:01 you look at that bottle of water you actually see green through
32:06 the bottle. Look at her on the screen. You can see this window
32:10 through it. And that's what green screen allows you to do so
32:12 instead of just holding this bottle or looking like you're in
32:18 front of a green screen we can actually, make a program where
32:21 the people are literally all over the world. So we will be
32:24 standing in front of the Terracotta soldiers in China
32:27 saying why did Emperor Shi need all these terracotta soldiers.
32:32 Well he needed them for his after life. Did he need them for
32:34 his afterlife. That's not what the word of God has to say. No
32:36 he didn't need them because your soul is sleeping and
32:41 there's the resurrection. And you don't need someone to
32:42 protect you when you're dead. You don't need that because the
32:46 devil can't get to you anymore. So this new equipment is going
32:49 to allow us for literally pennies on the dollar to have a
32:55 program that looks just like Thunder in the Holy Land except
32:57 instead of taking our crew to locations literally all over the
33:01 world we're going to be able then to in a wonderful way have
33:06 an international fragrance for a program that is going to be for
33:10 the languages of the world to literally be everywhere, to be
33:14 in Baghdad at Nebuchadnezzar's palace, to be in the steps of
33:19 Russia, to be in China, to be in England and literally be talking
33:23 about the truth of God from literally all over the world.
33:28 Amen, amen. Praise the Lord. You know it's inspiring to hear that
33:32 For those of you that don't know what NAB is it's National
33:36 Association of Broadcasters. You were at a convention, yearly
33:40 convention, where all of this equipment is featured and Yes we
33:44 should use what's available and this allows you to do more with
33:47 less. More with less. So you're using the technology but
33:53 technologies have advanced so we can do TV programs like what
34:00 you're doing for a lot less cost than in the past.
34:03 It makes me think of the prophecy that knowledge shall
34:07 increase because I believe the Lord has brought the knowledge
34:13 of all this technology so that we can get the word out more and
34:18 more into the world. Of course, the enemy uses it. The greater
34:22 the greater the gift the greater the chance of its misuse. So...
34:25 There's that too, but knowledge increases so that we can
34:29 the knowledge of your...
34:35 So you are basically almost ready for the equipment to be
34:40 able to purchase the equipment. So we want to place this in the
34:44 minds of those listening and if the Lord is impressing you to
34:47 support this endeavor to reach 90 percent of the world's
34:53 population, different languages. (95 percent) 95 percent. So put
34:58 it in prayer. If the Lord is inspiring you to do this we
35:00 want you to stand by and get ready to write down the
35:02 information so that you can know where to send your donations to
35:06 In a moment we're going to be sharing that information. And so
35:09 you are obviously doing this because the Lord has done
35:14 something in your life. You want to see other have the joy that
35:17 you have in your heart and have the opportunity for salvation.
35:20 You shared a little bit about that in the beginning but this
35:23 continues to drive you after so many years.
35:28 Well even after all these years I recognize that I'm a sinner.
35:32 And the closer you get to God the more you realize that. When
35:39 I was a student missionary in Jordan, the orphanage where I
35:45 lived and worked part of the time and taught school, the
35:48 orphanage was right beside a mosque and early, early in the
35:51 morning they would call for prayer. (Singing) Al-lah Akbar
35:58 And they would do that at sunrise. Can you tell me when
36:03 sunrise is?
36:04 (John chuckling) Pretty early in the morning.
36:07 Well for the Muslim it's not when the sun comes over the
36:11 horizon which is what I would think because when that's when
36:13 sunset is when it goes down over the horizon. No, sunrise for
36:17 them is when the imam climbs the minaret and he holds up two
36:23 threads, a white thread, and a black thread and as he holds
36:27 those two threads up in the predawn darkness he can't tell
36:33 which color they are. He can actually see both of them, he
36:37 can actually see them and he can't tell which one's white and
36:41 which one's black? (Interesting) But as the sun comes up a little
36:44 more and a little more pretty soon there's enough light that
36:47 he goes that's white and that's black. And once he knows that's
36:52 sunrise. This teaches me two things. Number one that there is
36:57 no gray area. If there's enough light of God on the subject
37:01 there's no gray area. God is not ambiguous and so if we go to the
37:07 Lord and say Lord I don't know what to do here, guide me, you
37:09 know, what should I eat, He'll guide you. How should I dress
37:13 He'll guide you. Who should I choose as my friends? He'll
37:16 guide you. He's a relational, personal, rich God and so put
37:21 enough of God's light on it and you'll know which is. So as I
37:26 get closer and closer to God he shines more light on my life and
37:33 I am a sinner. I am not a good person. And because of that I
37:38 began to realize that Jesus loves me. He went to the cross
37:45 even though I am a sinner and He died for me and He's done that
37:47 for every human being on the planet. That's my passion.
37:51 And Jesus loves you at home. (That's right) You know he died
37:57 on the cross for you and he longs to have an intimate
38:00 relationship with you. He knows you, He knows the very numbers
38:05 of your hair. And such a great God who's alive and on the
38:09 throne continues to bless your life and now there is a tool
38:15 here that will help you draw closer to Him and understand the
38:18 word, have hope, and be prepared for that new earth to come. And
38:23 very, very soon. (Amen)
38:25 You know He not only died for me but He lives for me and He's
38:33 changing me and He's recreating me. The Spirit of Prophecy says
38:38 He who does not have sufficient faith in Christ to believe that
38:42 He can keep him from sinning does not have faith that will
38:46 give him an entrance into the kingdom of God. (Where's that
38:51 found?) That's found in Manuscript 161. It was written
38:55 in 1897. (Thank you) And that quote speaks to me because why
39:01 would you believe in a God who can take you to heaven? Because
39:05 He's changing me today.
39:06 Amen, amen. Come as you are. He takes you just as you are but He
39:14 doesn't leave you the way He finds you.
39:16 And praise God.
39:17 Amen, amen. Well there are some Real-life stories I'm sure Karen
39:23 and you can share. I know the time is clicking but we're
39:26 excited to hear what the Lord is doing and what He's going to do
39:30 with you at home and also this ministry. So let's pull together
39:37 and make it happen.
39:39 Amen, well he was sort of sharing you know because the
39:43 enemy works on leaders as well and on pastors as well and it's
39:49 a think of always keeping yourself like 1 John says he who
39:53 has been born of God keeps himself. And what I've been
39:59 noticing happening, because I pray for this man because he's
40:02 under so much pressure and the devil works so hard on him
40:07 because he is more melancholy based which of course the devil
40:10 loves to stir around emotions. And I have watched him start
40:19 singing, start singing just some song, something, and I know that
40:24 the devil is trying to get in there and he's resisting and
40:28 resisting him. I watch that at home, him fighting that, knowing
40:33 sometimes he'll go (inhales/ exhales) and I know he is
40:39 deliberately choosing to not be agitated, yes we're getting
40:44 close you know especially like with fundraising and that sort
40:46 of thing. We're getting close. It's not happening the way we
40:50 like to see it happen. And he has to post a lot, well he
40:56 doesn't have to but he chooses to post whenever he finds
40:58 beautiful quotes and beautiful scriptures that kind of are in
41:03 the arena of what we're doing of witnessing and sharing Jesus
41:06 he goes to Facebook and you know posts those but Facebook is a
41:16 bit black hole. (It's a gateway drug) And he has recognized that
41:22 an addiction has kind of snuck in to where once he posts then
41:30 he starts with all those little clips that you can watch and all
41:34 those little clips and before you know it you know a whole
41:36 bunch of time went away and 10 minutes later you're like ah
41:39 how'd I get here? And so just a couple weeks ago I found out
41:47 that he actually out of choice is determined not to let the
41:53 devil get him on that and he threw off Facebook totally off
41:58 his phone. So if he posts now he has to go deliberately to his
42:02 computer and post something for the Lord and it's not right
42:07 there in the hand where he's at. So you know this is part of
42:12 keeping one's self. We always need to be in the...especially
42:16 when we're witnessing for Jesus we always need to be in a mode
42:19 of search me O God and know my heart today, like that song goes
42:24 And cleanse me because we're all vulnerable. No matter how much
42:30 Bible we know we are all vulnerable to the enemy doing
42:36 whatever he can to interfere with our witness. And so it's a
42:45 personal thing too going on as well.
42:48 So do you think that if you don't share your faith your
42:52 salvation could be in jeopardy somehow?
42:54 You know I've actually come to that realization and I did when
42:58 I created Thunder in the Holy Land because every episode was
43:02 a teaching of Jesus and because of that, I was really
43:05 concentrating on the gospels and the book of Revelation and
43:08 really focusing what did Jesus say? And Jesus said he who is
43:13 not with me is against me. And he who is not gathering with me
43:19 is scattering. So I realized that this was not a gray area,
43:25 hold up the threads, this was black and white. If you're not
43:30 actively gathering people to the kingdom of God, your children,
43:33 your family, your next door neighbor, if you're not actively
43:37 drawing them in you are actually pushing them away. There's no
43:43 middle ground on this. You're either going up the mountain or
43:45 down the mountain. You can't say well I'm just going around the
43:48 mountain. You know, I'm going up or I'm going down and from the
43:55 Review and Herald from February 25, 1890, paragraph nine, it
43:59 says man can never be saved himself or be an instrument for
44:04 the salvation of others until he exercises living faith and with
44:09 determined effort acts his part in the work of God. You can't be
44:14 saved without doing your work. And I try to explain it to
44:17 people this way. If you bought a toaster and every time you put
44:21 bread in it and you pushed it down it never did give you a
44:23 piece of toast, never, would you keep the toaster. (It's gone)
44:28 It's gone. (Absolutely) You'd get rid of it and go get another
44:31 toaster. And if we're that perfectionistic about a toaster
44:37 how does God feel when He says I've created you to fulfill an
44:42 eternal purpose that's glorious and what I want you to do is
44:46 start now by telling people what a witness I've been in your life
44:51 Tell them what good things I've done for you. Share me with
44:55 other people. And then Jesus told the parable about the tree
44:58 that wouldn't bear any fruit. And the master comes and says
45:02 I've been coming for years and this tree is not producing. Cut
45:05 it down. Burn it. Get rid of it. And Jesus who is the husbandman
45:10 says give it another year. God is so merciful to us. I don't
45:13 want to put this onto some big guilt trip, but God, he's
45:18 patient with us. There is an end in this story. So the master
45:22 dungs about it, which I always tell people, if people put poop
45:24 on you don't think they're doing you a disservice. Joseph thrown
45:29 in prison, lied about, don't think that is a disservice. God
45:33 can use that to be a witness. But keep on being a witness
45:37 wherever you're at and let God use that in a capacity. Christ's
45:42 Object Lessons, 142 the capacity for receiving is preserved only
45:48 by imparting. So if you want the capacity to receive, so I
45:54 want to be able to receive a glass of water, I want to
45:58 receive God's love, His salvation you can only preserve
46:02 that capacity to take it in by then giving it away. That's
46:07 pretty straight forward, the capacity for receiving is
46:09 preserved only by imparting. We cannot continue to receive
46:12 heavenly treasure without communicating to those around us
46:17 And from Our High Calling, p. 306, God gives His Spirit in
46:24 proportion to the consecration and self-sacrifice manifested by
46:28 those who engage in His work. (That is profound) He gives us
46:32 His Spirit in proportion as we witness. So every time you give
46:36 something away then the Spirit comes and give you more and you
46:40 give that away and then He gives you more and then you give...
46:43 And if you want to grow in grace so you don't groan in disgrace
46:48 then you need to be giving away constantly talking about, His
46:54 goodness and His love, and that's why when people say how
46:57 are you today, I say, I'm blessed. Oh really, why is that?
47:01 And then I get to confess because they asked.
47:03 Hallelujah, you get to witness.
47:06 Absolutely.
47:07 Very good.
47:09 Amen, amen. Well time seems to be slipping away and so how does
47:15 Thunder in the Holy Land or the new series really help the body
47:20 of Christ and share faith with other people?
47:23 Well just simply I've watched it happen where people use Thunder
47:28 and they will be using I Met God the same way. How they use it is
47:34 how their experience grows. They begin to have richer, deeper
47:38 experiences because that Holy Spirit comes in and starts doing
47:41 stuff. So I used to pray, Oh God make me a soul winner, make me a
47:46 soul winner. I want to be one of those people baptizing a
47:49 thousand people in a day, Lord. And maybe there's some self
47:53 there, some pride there, knowing the fact that I'm human there
47:56 probably is and so the Lord didn't make me a soul winner
48:00 where I was given the gift of going out and preaching and five
48:02 thousand get baptized in one day He put me in the ironworks
48:08 where I'm pounding out the swords that other people are
48:12 using and are coming back and they're saying Pastor Byrd,
48:16 Charles, this sword is sharp. It works, it actually...People are
48:20 being saved, it's amazing.
48:23 It says here what's next in getting the I Met God Bible
48:27 study series done and into the hands and hearts of the people?
48:31 Into the hands and hearts of the people...I like that, into the
48:35 hearts of the people. That's what I want. I don't want them
48:38 just to have head knowledge. I want them to have an
48:42 experience. The Sabbath isn't just a day we keep holy. The
48:45 Sabbath is a sign that our God is sanctifying us and changing
48:50 us. It's our wedding band that says our God can actually take a
48:56 sap like me and make me into something that she likes.
49:00 That she loves, she's crazy about.
49:05 Well love's a good thing but love is a principle of giving
49:07 what is the most. She actually likes me sometimes. And so to
49:15 have the equipment, to have the building finished, to have the
49:18 equipment in place is going to allow us to literally change the
49:22 face of witnessing throughout the world.
49:25 It'll have the same format as Thunder in the Holy Land where
49:28 we have a host beginning, middle and end and young people as
49:34 reporters.
49:36 Let me just say it this way, every time you take a breath
49:40 it's a miracle (Yes it is) Every time your heart beats it's a
49:46 miracle. (That's right) So now you guys have gotten cancer,
49:49 you're in the hospital, we come and pray for you...You got
49:53 healed! Now we get excited about that as if a miracle happened
49:56 but it doesn't negate the fact that there's been a miracle
50:01 going on all along. Every breath was a miracle, every heartbeat
50:04 was a miracle and now this is a special one. We're very
50:07 thankful that you're cancer is gone, praise God, Amen,
50:10 hallelujah. Your child was saved after falling off a cliff,
50:13 praise God, Amen, Hallelujah but don't miss those little daily
50:17 miracles. And so this is what I have to say. We raised $702,000
50:23 The building is almost done, not quite. We need $120,000 to
50:28 finish the building and the devil makes me want to fret
50:32 about that. But I just say (inhales) He gave us $702,000
50:38 He's going to do the rest. We need a million dollars' worth of
50:42 equipment but (inhales) you know He gave us that, He's going to
50:47 do the rest.
50:48 My God our God will supply all your needs.
50:50 All your needs and He made this promise to me. He said if you
50:54 leave houses or lands or parents or family for my sake and the
50:58 gospel I will give you a hundred fold, a hundredfold (claim it)
51:04 so we donated $230,000 of our own money so let's see a hundred
51:09 fold would be 23 million. I'm not even asking for 23 million.
51:14 But He's promised so I'm just trusting in Him. God is going to
51:19 do something profound.
51:21 Amen. This is encouraging. Nice to see the report as you
51:26 continue to visit and update our viewers too you know because
51:33 they hear of the different stages in ministry and what the
51:34 the Lord is doing, so.
51:36 Amen, well we are ready to share contact information and if you
51:39 would like to support your prayers are needed but your
51:42 financial support is needed to finish and go to the next phase
51:45 and actually start getting these languages in. We will be back
51:49 in a moment and we'll see you then.
