00:04 I want to spend my life
00:10 mending broken people.
00:15 I want to spend my life
00:21 removing pain.
00:26 Lord, let my words
00:31 heal a heart that hurts.
00:36 I want to spend my life
00:42 mending broken people...
00:47 I want to spend my life
00:52 mending broken people.
01:07 Greetings to my 3ABN family
01:10 and welcome to another 3ABN Today program.
01:14 Glad that you're with us.
01:16 I'm your host. My name is Ricky Carter
01:18 and I'm excited about today's program.
01:20 I think you'll be really blessed by it.
01:24 I've got the privilege
01:25 of interviewing my friend and colleague -
01:30 colleague for over the last 10 years I believe.
01:33 And it's been great to get to know him.
01:36 As a matter of fact, I want to introduce you to him
01:38 right now: Bro. Art... Art Humphrey.
01:41 Welcome to the program, Brother.
01:43 Thank you for inviting me.
01:44 Glad to have you here. I'm looking forward to
01:47 our program today, what we're going to be talking about.
01:50 You know, one of the... the program title
01:55 I thought was really interesting.
01:57 It's Making Truth-Filled Movies.
02:02 I'm really interested in what you're going to be sharing
02:04 with us today about that. And I know our viewers at home
02:08 are going to be interested and are going to be excited
02:10 about hearing this as well.
02:12 But Bro. Art, before we actually get into the program
02:16 and interview and talking with you more
02:18 we've got a special music that I want to share with our
02:21 viewers. Today our special music is by Bro. Kendol Bacchus,
02:28 and he's going to be sharing Deep River.
05:31 Amen! Thank you, Bro. Bacchus
05:35 for using your talents for the Lord
05:38 and playing the piano like that.
05:39 That was beautiful. I was very blessed by that.
05:41 Wasn't that a blessing, Bro. Art? Wonderful!
05:44 Amen! Amen!
05:46 Well, Bro. Art, now I know that you are the film director
05:51 for 3AM Films.
05:54 And the ministry that you're with
05:57 is Turn To Jesus Ministry.
06:01 And what I'd like to find out is, for our viewers at home
06:05 who don't know much about you, I want you to share
06:09 a little bit about who you are
06:11 and where you're from
06:14 and what your ministry's all about.
06:17 Just take this time to share a little bit with us, please.
06:21 Well there's not many people making films in the SDA church.
06:25 There's a few of us.
06:27 And I started actually back in the 5th grade
06:30 believe it or not
06:32 and I'm 73 years old.
06:35 I didn't start making films... It was a journey because
06:38 I was interested in what they were doing in Hollywood.
06:42 Hmm. And my cousin said to me:
06:44 "They're inside the TV! "
06:48 So I knew that wasn't right
06:51 because I had seen a television empty
06:54 without any tubes in it or anything
06:56 and I had seen kids go inside there and try to make
07:00 TV programs and I knew that didn't work.
07:04 So I went to prove him wrong.
07:06 So you know I started back in the 5th grade.
07:08 The encyclopedia was loaded with what was going on
07:12 in the filmmaking of the day.
07:14 And so I immersed myself in that and I learned everything
07:18 I could, read everything I could.
07:20 And that's my history.
07:23 And so I knew what my life's work would be
07:25 and I worked in television and films for about 55 years.
07:29 Oh wow, wow. Amen; amen.
07:32 So you're working in film
07:34 creating some... I guess some documentaries
07:39 or some? What are you using the films for now?
07:43 Well actually, I worked in TV news.
07:45 That actually was a little bit of training
07:50 but my degree is in film pro- duction & television production.
07:55 OK. So yes... So I worked in film
07:57 in TV news when they were shooting film.
08:01 And we had some interesting times. In those days
08:04 we used to send film to New York by counter to counter.
08:09 In other words we'd process the film,
08:11 edit it, and we'd put it in a bag
08:14 and send it United Airlines from one counter to the New York
08:18 counter at the airport in New York.
08:20 So this was like a long time ago back in the what?
08:23 Ooh! My goodness... 70's, you know. So...
08:29 Film really is a medium I think that God gave to us -
08:33 amen - because it works... the way that it works
08:37 is we blink and we can remember an image. Um-hmm.
08:42 You know if you see someone's face in a split second
08:45 you can remember.
08:46 And film is frame after frame after frame after frame
08:50 after frame, but they're so fast
08:53 you can remember it, and the brain puts it all together
08:57 in a sequence and you can understand
09:00 a story that's presented in that format.
09:03 Amen! Amen.
09:04 You know, Brother... I totally agree with you
09:07 when you said that you believe God-made films.
09:10 You know I think that God used media...
09:14 He's created media to help in finishing the work.
09:18 It's a great way that the message can be sent
09:21 around the world with His truth.
09:25 And just like anything else that the Lord has created
09:28 Satan has hijacked it and messed it up. Um-hmm.
09:32 Now since God has made this medium to share this message
09:39 tell me: do you have a project that?
09:43 As a matter of fact, I KNOW that you have a project
09:45 that you've worked on. Matter of fact, I worked
09:47 on it with you in sharing truth and that project is
09:52 The Crowning Act.
09:54 So tell our viewers at home a little bit about this project.
09:57 OK. So I did a study on the image to the beast.
10:00 And we can find information about image to the beast
10:03 in Revelation though it's not real definitive what that is.
10:08 But as Adventists, we know that the image to the beast
10:12 is the melting together of the church and the state.
10:17 Um-hmm. Or the church having control
10:20 over the state. So we know that that's going to happen.
10:24 And so I learned that once the image to the beast was
10:27 completely formed then would be the time for the
10:31 marvelous workings of Satan.
10:33 And that we can find... I think an educated guess
10:37 would tell me that maybe that's when the false Christ
10:40 may appear. So that would be Satan.
10:44 Any false Christ that appears would be either Satan himself
10:48 or one of his helpers. Um-hmm.
10:53 So then we came up with the idea for The Crowning Act. OK.
10:56 And in this book The Great Controversy
10:58 it talks about the crowning act of Satan.
11:01 And so that would be... That's the title that we came up
11:06 with for the film: The Crowning Act. Amen.
11:09 And I guess you probably have a sample
11:14 that maybe you can show us about this?
11:16 Or want to tell us a little bit more about this movie?
11:19 Yes, I did bring a trailer that's on YouTube.
11:24 And the trailer is I guess a minute sixteen seconds...
11:28 something like that. It gives you an idea
11:30 because basically the film is about the second coming
11:34 of Christ. There's so much misinformation
11:37 about the second coming of Christ.
11:39 There's this theory and that theory.
11:42 People disappearing on an airplane.
11:45 All sorts of ideas about the second coming of Christ.
11:48 But the Bible gives the one way that Christ is going to return.
11:52 Amen. And I thought it would be important that people know that.
11:55 And we framed it with the idea
11:59 of showing the false appearing of Christ
12:01 so the people will know that that's on the horizon.
12:04 That's going to happen before He comes back.
12:06 Amen... amen. And so... And at the same time
12:09 we're able to teach the truth about the 2nd coming of Christ.
12:12 Amen. I want to take a look at that.
12:15 Why don't we take a look at that video now?
12:38 Happy Birthday! Oh wow!
12:41 Thank you. What exactly did you see this morning?
12:44 I saw a bright light... a dazzling light.
12:49 My heart was touched.
12:51 It was wonderful! I won't ever forget it.
12:54 I don't think that's Jesus.
12:56 I saw him with my own eyes... it has to be Jesus.
12:59 Then maybe this time you cannot rely on your eyes.
13:03 We need to rely on God's Word.
13:05 I wonder if there's any other stations out there talking about
13:08 God's Word and the Bible truth?
13:14 So who is this bright shining being
13:18 that's walking around in Israel?
13:20 Christ has come... He's come to the earth!
13:36 Amen! That's powerful!
13:38 Well, Bro. Art, the next question
13:41 is: "How can our viewers at home watch this presentation. "
13:45 Well, it resides actually on:
13:49 And there's other resources
13:51 on that website also.
13:53 But you can view it there
13:55 or you can go to my YouTube channel
13:57 which is Art Humphrey. Just search YouTube
14:00 for Art Humphrey and then you'll find my channel.
14:02 Amen; amen; thank you; thank you.
14:05 All right. So you've created this movie,
14:08 this video that we can watch online.
14:11 Tell me, are there any other Biblical truths films
14:15 that you've created? Or if there are any,
14:18 how can our viewers watch those?
14:20 Before we do that, I have to give credit where credit is due.
14:24 We worked with White Horse Media
14:26 on this film. On The Crowning Act? Yes.
14:29 On The Crowning Act Steve Wohlberg actually was
14:33 an executive producer and we worked with his ministry
14:36 to create that film. Amen. And they were very very instrumental
14:39 in getting it done. Amen.
14:42 So I thank them for that because it really would not have
14:45 happened you know with just me working on it. Amen.
14:48 So yep... So you asked me?
14:52 Are there any other Biblical truth movies
14:54 that you've created that our viewers can watch?
14:56 And if so, where could they watch it?
14:58 OK. So... there was a very famous TV series
15:02 that was on, and I didn't have anything to do
15:05 so I thought: "OK, I'll go and sign up and be
15:07 a background actor. "
15:10 I'm not going to mention the TV series
15:12 but they were filming in Dallas.
15:14 And so I was in 5 episodes.
15:17 And I watched what they were doing. With my whole background
15:21 in film and television I watched what they were doing
15:23 and I thought: "I can make films" -
15:27 um-hmm - "you know. "
15:29 So I started to work one. The first one we did
15:34 was Scared to Death... and that's on the YouTube channel.
15:38 OK. That is two boys that go camping together
15:40 and one boy is afraid of his shadow.
15:43 And the other boy knows what the Bible says
15:45 about death, and he teaches him over the camping trip
15:49 what the Bible teaches about death. OK... Amen.
15:52 And then we did one called The Quest. OK.
15:55 And I have a clip about that one.
15:57 Let's show the clip first and then I'll talk
16:00 in detail about it. All right.
16:01 Yes. Why don't we go and see that clip right now?
16:19 Gonna call Patrick... see what he's able to find.
16:40 Hello. Hey Patrick, what's goin' on?
16:43 Hey, what's up? Not much.
16:44 Hey, I'm calling you to see if you found that information.
16:47 Yeah, I did actually, but
16:49 I'm also creating some stuff.
16:51 Oh yeah... well, I guess you heard.
16:53 Heard about what? Well, the archive is closing
16:57 and just when I was trying to get some information... What?
17:00 If you wait a minute, I can get you inside the library
17:05 and the archive. Just a minute Patrick.
17:10 What? I can get you inside the library and the archive.
17:15 I know the code. Stop playing.
17:18 Hey Patrick, meet us at the park bench in two minutes, OK?
17:21 All right. See you in a bit.
17:28 Can you do it or not?
17:30 Well, I work part-time for Dr. McCloud.
17:35 And after working with him for so long
17:37 I'm pretty sure I know the codes by now.
17:40 Why did I just tell you that? Now I'm crazy.
17:43 We're all going to get in trouble... BIG trouble.
17:47 Just gotta find out what's in there.
17:52 Hey Patrick, what's up? Not much.
17:55 Well anyway, for some reason the library archive
17:59 was quickly closed today just when we were about
18:00 to do some research. Do you know what's going on?
18:03 Well, what are we here for?
18:05 Well our dear friend Alex here says he's got the code
18:09 to get into the library into the archive.
18:11 No way man. Unh-uh.
18:13 See... what did I tell you?
18:16 Well, are you guys with me or not?
18:18 I've got to find out what's in there.
18:20 This isn't work for chickens.
18:24 All right. But if we get caught
18:29 buck buck buck buck we get fried.
18:33 Let's go chicken boy.
20:40 Amen! Very interesting clip.
20:43 Well I'm Interested in watching the whole thing
20:47 but Art, can you tell us a little bit more about this?
20:50 OK. The Quest is based on
20:53 something that happened in my wife's life.
20:56 She was given a gift when she was a little girl
20:58 with the Ten Commandments on it.
21:00 And she asked her mother
21:03 "What about? Why do we go to church on Sunday?
21:09 The commandment says the seventh day which is Saturday. "
21:13 Her mother didn't have an answer for her.
21:14 So what happens in this film:
21:17 a group of young people decide that they want to study
21:21 and find out about the Sabbath.
21:23 So the clip that you just saw
21:26 they've taken it so far to find out this information
21:29 and every door has been shut to them.
21:33 Even the archive has been shut suddenly. Hmm.
21:38 So they decide: "OK, we're going to go into the library
21:42 after hours. " And one young man knows how to get in there.
21:45 And they go in there and they search through the archive
21:48 and they find the information about the Sabbath.
21:50 Now the Bible says: "At the time of their ignorance
21:54 God winked at them. "
21:55 So they didn't know they were breaking
21:57 another commandment to find out information about
22:00 another commandment. Right... right... right.
22:01 So God winks at that, you know.
22:04 But truth is so important
22:06 that people that they just don't really know.
22:08 They're going to be anxious and they're going to do anything
22:11 that they can to find out what the truth is. Amen.
22:14 That's what we're illustrating in that clip that you just saw.
22:17 OK... OK. Now is there another film that you've created
22:21 that you can tell us about?
22:22 Let's see here... Oh, The Creation. Yes!
22:25 The Creation. The Creation was released in 2010
22:29 and maybe some of the viewers saw that
22:31 because we came on with Danny Shelton and talked about
22:35 The Creation just before we released it.
22:37 And that film was seen around the world
22:42 because it was on Borders.com;
22:46 it was on Walmart.com;
22:48 it was distributed by Victory Multimedia in California.
22:53 It was distributed by Pacific Press Publishing.
22:58 It was distributed in South Africa by a media company
23:02 in South Africa. And so I thought before I released it
23:06 "Oh, all of these people are going to see it. I wonder
23:10 if the Sabbath is too stern and too strict?
23:15 Maybe I should soften it. "
23:18 Soften it? Yeah.
23:21 You can do all sorts of things in editing. OK.
23:25 So I thought: "Maybe I should soften it
23:27 because it's going to go wide. Maybe somebody's going to
23:31 come after me! " So, no, I didn't have that thought.
23:34 But I thought about it for three weeks and I thought:
23:36 "OK, I need to buy a hard drive and back up everything
23:40 and then I'll get to work on re-editing some of the
23:45 portions that I thought should be softened. "
23:48 So I put my hard drive in
23:50 I click, click, click looked through and went down
23:53 and you know what? What? God did not want me to
23:57 soften that film. Amen... amen.
24:01 He hid from my eyes
24:05 the correct video that I needed to format
24:08 and I formatted the wrong one
24:12 with all of my original camera footage -
24:15 oh wow - and everything. But I had mastered the film.
24:19 OK, man. So I had it mastered
24:22 but everything was blown away and I got the message.
24:26 I got it. "Lord, I GET IT. "
24:29 No softening? No softening. Praise the Lord!
24:31 So after that, I decided: "OK, this is a story
24:36 the Lord gave me so that I can tell other people
24:38 'Do not try to soften God's message - Amen!
24:42 because He will let you know. ' " Amen!
24:45 Well, with that we've got another clip
24:48 about The Creation. Want to show you right now.
24:53 I started off believing
24:54 evolution was the most sensible thing.
24:57 I just assumed it was true.
25:01 We really have to go on faith
25:03 when it comes to where we came from originally.
25:05 I think what God inspired Moses to do
25:08 was write a record that is corrective.
25:12 And under the guiding hand of inspiration
25:14 Moses sat down and wrote us an accurate,
25:17 beautiful, poetic description
25:20 of how the universe began.
25:22 In six days the great work of creation
25:25 had been accomplished
25:27 and God rested on the seventh day
25:30 from all His work which He had made.
25:56 If you can fathom someone taking
26:00 an alphabet - the American alphabet A to Z -
26:06 and having one trillion of each alphabet:
26:10 a trillion of A, a trillion B's...
26:14 and piling up a mountain of alphabets
26:20 like as tall as Mt. Everest of alphabets
26:24 and then placing a bomb
26:27 beneath this large mountain of alphabet
26:30 and blowing up the alphabet
26:32 and they just go blowing up into the sky
26:34 and the alphabets all fall down into the Webster's dictionary
26:38 from A to Z in alphabetical order
26:41 with the description and definition of every word...
26:44 If you can believe something of that nature,
26:47 then you can believe in the Big Bang Theory.
26:50 That's how impossible it is in my mind.
26:59 The Mysteries of the visible universe,
27:01 the wondrous works of Him which is perfect in knowledge.
27:07 God's glory in the heavens.
27:09 The innumerable worlds in their orderly revolutions.
27:13 He balances the clouds.
27:16 The mysteries of light and sound, of day and night,
27:20 all were open to the study of our first parents.
27:25 On every leaf of the forest or stone of the mountains,
27:28 in every shining star in earth and air and sky
27:32 God's name was written.
27:35 The order and harmony of creation
27:38 spoke to them of infinite wisdom and power.
27:41 They were ever discovering some attraction
27:44 that filled their hearts with deeper love
27:47 and called forth fresh expressions of gratitude.
27:50 So long as they remained loyal to the divine law
27:53 their capacity to know, to enjoy, and love
27:58 would continually increase.
28:00 They would be constantly gain- ing new treasures of knowledge,
28:03 discovering fresh springs of happiness,
28:05 and obtaining clearer and yet clearer conceptions
28:09 of the immeasurable unfailing love of God.
28:44 Amen... Amen!
28:47 Well, Brother Art, you shared that you got
28:51 so far we've seen three Bible-based, Biblical truth
28:57 videos, movies, films that you created:
29:00 The Crowning Act, The Quest,
29:03 and The Creation.
29:06 So tell me: do you have any other Biblical truth films
29:11 that you're in the process of creating?
29:14 I'm glad you asked that question.
29:19 Well... you know what?
29:22 I take my cue probably from the news media.
29:28 So recently there was an article
29:31 on CNN. The title of the article is
29:44 I read that article.
29:46 So the essence of this article is that
29:53 people are seeing something they think are their dead
29:57 loved ones coming back and talking to them
30:00 at the foot of the bed or touching them on the shoulder
30:04 or some essence of perfume that they smell
30:09 or something like that.
30:10 And this has happened at 9/11 by the thousands,
30:17 the tsunami in Asia,
30:21 and other instances where there are large disasters.
30:24 So I thought: "OK, this sounds like another film
30:28 because someone had asked me after we finished
30:30 The Crowning Act: "Art, you've gotta do one
30:32 on the state of the dead. "
30:34 Are the dead really dead?
30:36 Because Spiritualism says: "There is no death;
30:41 there are no dead. "
30:43 That's a lie! Amen.
30:44 You know the first lie that Satan told in the Garden of Eden
30:48 "You won't surely die... that's a lie. "
30:53 What is death? Recently I had a procedure done.
30:56 They put me to sleep. It's a dreamless sleep.
30:59 Death is a dreamless sleep.
31:02 I didn't die. They did the procedure; I'm here today.
31:06 Death... Jesus taught death as a sleep.
31:12 Amen. So if you go to I think it's
31:15 Luke chapter 11 is it?
31:16 where Lazarus was resurrected.
31:19 Just read that chapter
31:21 and you will learn about death as a sleep. Amen... amen.
31:25 So you've made a movie about that? Oh yeah.
31:28 So at the beginning of COVID
31:30 the hospitals were terrified of this disease
31:34 so they would not allow people's relatives to come
31:37 and visit them in the hospital.
31:39 So people were dying and they didn't get a chance
31:43 to see their relatives before they died.
31:48 And their relatives were just very upset about this
31:51 so we named the film: I Never Said Goodbye.
31:55 And we have the website INeverSaidGoodbye.net
31:59 OK. And I was in Walmart
32:02 and I saw a friend that had seen The Crowning Act.
32:06 And she said: "Are you doing any more movies? "
32:08 And I said: "Yes, we're doing one on the state of the dead
32:11 and we call it I Never Said Goodbye.
32:14 She said: "Oh, where's my checkbook? "
32:16 Oh wow. She was right in the checkout line
32:19 in Walmart doing her self-checkout
32:21 and she was looking for her checkbook to write me a check
32:24 to help with the film. Wow! Praise God!
32:27 Praise God. So you've created some of it already I presume.
32:31 Yes. And we have a clip of that, right? Vb Yes, we do.
32:34 Why don't we take a look at that right now?
32:52 I never said goodbye.
33:04 Every morning he would eat breakfast with us, and he would
33:07 sit right here.
33:11 My daddy would want us to keep on living.
33:17 Oh, oh... you're going to school today
33:23 and I'm going to work.
33:27 Besides he's watching over us.
33:30 Recently another major news network ran a story
33:33 about ADCs. It stands for
33:35 after death communications.
33:38 No way! Yeah, really.
33:40 Listen to this: when someone dies it turns out
33:43 that it may not be the end after all.
33:45 Hmm. What do you mean it may not be the end?
33:48 Well, when a person loses a loved one
33:50 that deceased friend or family member
33:52 could come back and visit them
33:54 and thus an after death communication occurs.
33:58 I just don't think people actually come back.
34:02 I know this sounds crazy
34:03 but my friend's grandmother passed away
34:06 a couple of months ago and just recently
34:10 she came back because she really believes
34:14 that it was her grandma.
34:16 If this is true, I want to see it for myself.
34:21 You would? Well there's a name for these communications.
34:24 It's called spiritualism. Spiritualism? Huh!
34:28 Think that has anything to do with... I don't know...
34:32 evil spirits? Laughter.
34:35 Evil spirits or not, it would appear that the evidence
34:39 points to the fact that ADCs are indeed plentiful and real.
34:54 Uh! David?
35:07 David?
35:10 But the past few days
35:12 she's actually been kind of happy.
35:14 She's been seeing my dad.
35:20 What?
35:25 Tonight's Bible study is going to be about death.
35:28 Are the dead really dead?
35:32 Awesome. Thanks, Alex.
35:34 Tonight we're going to look thru several texts from the Bible
35:36 and then line upon line, precept upon precept,
35:39 we will dismantle and look behind
35:41 this dark curtain that they call death.
35:45 So before we begin I just want to show you guys
35:47 a quick video that my friend Dr. Eric Walsh sent me.
35:50 One of the most difficult things about being a physician
35:53 is having to deal with the topic of death.
35:56 Working in intensive care units
35:58 and having people pass away
36:00 one of the most difficult questions we get from family
36:03 members is: "Am I going to see my loved one again? "
36:05 We know that in Ecclesiastes chapter 9 verse 5 and 6
36:09 it says that: "The living know they shall die
36:11 but the dead don't know anything. "
36:13 This is reiterated
36:14 in what we find in medical science.
36:17 Death really is the final chapter.
36:21 Tonight... and I promise when you leave here
36:25 you will have the answers directly from God's Word
36:27 to three very important questions.
36:29 1. Are the dead really dead?
36:32 2. What about a resurrection?
36:35 And 3. Who and what are ghosts?
36:39 May his family be comforted
36:42 in knowing that he is now watching over them.
36:46 Amen.
36:56 Wow! Wow!
36:58 Bro. Art, this is a heavy topic and I'm glad
37:01 that you are getting a movie out
37:05 to the whole world so they can see this
37:07 and know the truth about what happens when you die.
37:10 This is so needed now.
37:12 So is there any more you can tell us about this film?
37:16 Well, what you just saw
37:18 basically is a small handful of people that got together
37:24 to make the trailers so that we could raise money
37:27 for the film. Hmm.
37:29 Films are not generally made that way.
37:31 And of course, my film was made that way because I don't have
37:34 a lot of money for 300 people on a crew.
37:37 You know. So we got together
37:42 and we said: "We need something for people to see
37:44 so maybe we can go on 3ABN. "
37:47 I had no idea I'd be sitting here.
37:49 You know? That was like: "What? Go to 3ABN? "
37:53 So anyway...
37:55 God arranged that.
37:57 So yeah...
38:01 So as we work towards making this film
38:04 we get ideas. The script is not even complete yet
38:09 though we are going to make this film.
38:11 We're going to raise the money & we're going to make the film.
38:13 God has opened the way all the way
38:16 for us to do this project. Amen.
38:18 So you share this with us - these different topics -
38:24 on the movie that you're creating.
38:27 But what's the drive? What's causing you
38:32 to make these Biblical truth films?
38:37 OK... truth has never been popular
38:41 and never will be popular. Um-hmm.
38:43 These films do not make money.
38:46 I don't make money from these films.
38:48 As a matter of fact, when we raise the money
38:50 that we want to make this film
38:53 most of it is going to pay for this, for that.
38:56 Travel and for a grip truck. I need a grip truck
39:00 with lights in it and also for riggings.
39:03 A dolly and all that.
39:05 Two grips that we're going to have to pay for.
39:06 Three, four grips.
39:08 And also my director of photography is going to fly in
39:14 from California for a five-day shoot.
39:16 We need a location shoot for the funeral
39:20 with 30 or so people there as participant background actors
39:26 in a live funeral situation you know.
39:29 Casket... lowering device... limousines.
39:34 All of that stuff we have to pay for
39:36 to make it realistic so that the people watching this
39:40 will understand that this issue is serious enough
39:46 for us to make a film about it
39:48 and go through all of this trouble to tell the story.
39:52 So what happens actually: Laura, our character,
39:55 sees the morning show every morning and she gets
39:58 drawn into spiritualism.
40:02 As you notice, her daughter left her lunch there
40:05 and she had to rush out to catch up with her
40:08 to give her lunch bag to her.
40:10 So she did not hear the part about spiritualism
40:14 and she missed the part about evil spirits.
40:17 Hmm. So she came back in on the tail end
40:22 and turns the TV off you know, so...
40:25 She gets drawn into it because she loves her husband
40:28 so much - she misses him so much -
40:30 that she wants to see him again.
40:32 So immediately Satan starts in appearing as her husband.
40:37 Umm-hmm.
40:39 Yeah, I can see how that would be...
40:40 it's really important that our viewers or even our
40:44 our viewers' family members would need to see this.
40:49 Need to know this truth.
40:51 Which reminds me: so besides watching
40:57 these films, what else can our viewers...
41:02 what can they do with them?
41:04 Is there a way that they can share them perhaps?
41:07 Well yes, these are sharing films
41:09 and they're going to be free of charge on YouTube
41:12 or they might like for instance
41:14 I Never Said Goodbye will reside on YouTube - um-hmm -
41:17 but we'll have a website INeverSaidGoodbye.net
41:20 And so you can go there;
41:22 share the link
41:25 with your friends.
41:26 You know, they'll share it.
41:28 It's almost like it's going to
41:30 go viral if people are that interested in the topic.
41:33 And you know what? Something
41:35 happened recently with the United States Congress
41:38 and with the Senate. I'm not sure quite what happened
41:43 but they had the first ever hearing on UFOs.
41:47 And I know from studying the Bible
41:50 that UFOs and spiritualism is almost... it's the same thing.
41:56 Yes, yes. Why don't the aliens that are appearing in these
42:00 spaceships and taking people on board
42:02 and dissecting them and then dropping them off
42:05 why don't they to Washington, D.C., and say
42:07 "Take me to your leader? " Why don't they do that?
42:10 Um-hmm. Why are they in secret?
42:12 Why are they doing everything in secret?
42:14 I'll tell you the reason why.
42:15 Because it's Satan and his imps or his helpers doing this.
42:21 And if he goes in the public
42:23 somebody will be there that will pull the wool off.
42:27 "In Jesus' name get behind me! " Poof... they're gone.
42:30 That will expose them.
42:33 So that's why he's doing it in secret I believe anyway.
42:36 That's my opinion. Yes... yes.
42:39 Well I'm sure that there are some viewers at home who are...
42:42 who are watching today's program
42:44 and they're going to want to know is there any way they can
42:50 either partner with you or help with this ministry.
42:54 What can you share with them based on that?
42:59 Well it's going to take a lot of people to raise $50,000.
43:02 And that's chunk change. They spend millions
43:06 on Hollywood movies, you know.
43:08 Can we just raise $50,000 for a film that tells the truth
43:14 about these ADCs: after death communications?
43:18 I think we can. With a whole lot of people
43:20 pooling their money together we can raise $50,000 easily.
43:24 Most of that money is going to be used for
43:27 promoting the film on the Internet -
43:31 hmm - and paying for the website
43:34 and those kinds of things. Because the website
43:36 or the Internet has gotten to the place now
43:39 that if you want people to see your things that you're doing
43:43 you have to advertise.
43:45 Right. That's the way the Internet works right now.
43:47 Right, right. It used to be you just put it out there
43:50 and organically people would just click on it
43:53 and it would just spread like that.
43:55 But that's not the case anymore.
43:57 Right, right. So you need some of these
43:59 viewers at home to participate with you
44:02 in sharing it and financially.
44:06 And how about any... do you need any editors or any
44:09 grips or any crew to work with you on a project like this?
44:15 That's a thought.
44:17 Yeah. I think we're covered in that area. OK, OK.
44:21 But if anybody wants to contact me
44:24 I'll talk to them about it. Amen... amen.
44:26 But we're on a steady track
44:30 to work on the film and finish it. It says
44:34 coming the summer of 2022.
44:36 I think we might miss that
44:38 but we're going to get the film out anyway.
44:39 Maybe it's the Fall, but we're going to do the film anyway.
44:43 So I had some things to happen in my computer
44:47 that hindered me from doing some of the things
44:50 that I wanted to bring on this program.
44:52 But I know who's behind that, too.
44:55 Um-hmm. So it's OK... we're going to make the film anyway.
44:59 Right, right, yeah.
45:00 I was doing Scared to Death and I called my friend.
45:06 I said: "Let's go out there and shoot the title sequence. "
45:09 It was 7 o'clock in the morning; the sun was coming up.
45:12 It was dark when I called him.
45:14 He says: "I can't go. "
45:15 So I went out by myself into the cemetery...
45:18 And you can see this one on my YouTube channel.
45:20 Scared to Death... that's the title of the film.
45:22 I went out there by myself with my camera.
45:25 And that's another film Satan did not want me to make.
45:29 That's OK... I'm working for God. Amen!
45:32 These films are God's message and I WILL DO THEM
45:37 with God's help. Amen.
45:39 So I'm putting the tripod away in the trunk
45:42 of the car and there's nobody around.
45:45 I shot the film that I needed to get.
45:48 All of a sudden behind me -
45:51 I'm talking about right behind me right here -
45:55 I hear this "grrrr" like a dog is going to rip me
45:59 to shreds, you know.
46:02 I turn around and I turn around that way
46:04 and I go around the car and there's nothing. Hmm.
46:08 So I said: "OK... that's OK. I'm makin' this film anyway. "
46:12 So if we are determined and God gives us the strength
46:18 to do His work and His will we will prevail.
46:22 So Scared to Death was released.
46:26 It was seen everywhere. It helped kids understand
46:29 the state of the dead. So the same thing will happen
46:32 with I Never Said Goodbye.
46:33 Amen. We'll make that film. Amen; amen.
46:37 Wow, Bro. Art!
46:39 I can see that the Lord is using you
46:43 to finish the work.
46:46 You can look at it as
46:49 you have the privilege
46:51 of working in the vineyard.
46:55 Yes. You know what?
46:57 Tell me. It just brought another thought to my mind.
47:00 OK. So... we do all of these great things.
47:03 We have 3ABN; we have wonderful things that we're doing
47:07 on a large scale... you know we're making movies and all that
47:10 that gets a lot of attention
47:11 but you know what? God wants us to work
47:13 on an individual basis with people also.
47:16 So you know what? I think I mentioned this earlier.
47:19 But this is what I do.
47:21 My storylines are in this book The Great Controversy.
47:25 And if you have this book on your shelf,
47:27 it's time to take it down and read it.
47:30 And I brought this one for you so that you can...
47:32 I'm going to leave it in Southern Illinois
47:34 and you can give it to your neighbor or whatever.
47:36 Yeah. Just allow me to go across
47:39 and hand it over to you. Great! Thank you.
47:41 Thank you so much!
47:43 This is a great book: The Great Controversy.
47:45 I do have one of these at home; I've passed them out before.
47:49 And I encourage you at home to do the same thing as well.
47:53 We need to get this truth-filled literature out
47:56 to the masses. And one of the ways
47:59 that we can do that: not just only handing out
48:02 literature but we can also share
48:05 these movies like what Bro. Art is telling us about.
48:10 And it's a privilege to be a part
48:14 of finishing the work. This is vineyard work.
48:17 And we have an opportunity
48:20 to be able to share this with the world.
48:22 Thank you so much, Bro. Art, for using your talent
48:25 for the Lord the way that you're doing it now.
48:28 You know, I've thought about how
48:31 in my life the Lord has given me a talent
48:35 of creating graphics and motion graphics
48:40 and video editing and music.
48:43 And I've been able to take those talents
48:48 and now be able to use it for the Lord.
48:50 And what a blessing it is
48:53 to be able to be used by the Lord
48:55 and to take these talents and then further His message
48:59 to the world. We are living in the closing hours
49:03 of earth's history. And to think that He can use us
49:06 like that. Man... that's like a two-hander basically.
49:10 That's a two-hander of praise the Lord!
49:12 "Use me to be a part of this work. "
49:15 You know, I want to encourage you at home
49:17 to do the same thing.
49:18 What talents do you have
49:21 that you can use for the Lord?
49:24 Do you have a gift of talking?
49:27 Wow! There's some people that have the gift of talking
49:30 and sharing, and they can meet...
49:33 They never have a stranger. They can see somebody
49:38 in the grocery store and they can strike up a conversation
49:41 with them. Or they're at the gas station;
49:44 can start a conversation with them... their neighbor.
49:48 And you can share with them
49:50 using that talent the message that Christ has given you
49:56 that He's coming again soon.
49:59 Maybe you have the gift of cooking.
50:03 Well you can use that talent
50:05 preparing a wholesome meal
50:08 for your neighbor or someone who's sick
50:11 and be able to bless them with that.
50:14 Maybe you have a talent for singing.
50:17 You've got talent for singing or playing an instrument.
50:20 Use your talent for the Lord.
50:23 You know we don't have much time left
50:27 before the Lord is going to break through the clouds
50:30 and come and take us to heaven. Do you want to be there?
50:33 I know I want to be there.
50:35 And I don't want to be in a situation
50:39 where I have this gift
50:42 and I'm not using it for the Lord.
50:44 I want to encourage you at home to do that.
50:47 Use you talent; use your gift for the Lord.
50:51 He's asking. He's pleading with you to do that.
50:56 Bro. Art, we only have a few more minutes
50:59 before I want to share with those who are watching
51:04 how they can contact you.
51:06 And what I want to just emphasize
51:10 is thank you for using your gift
51:15 and your talent for Him.
51:17 And I want to encourage you to continue to do that.
51:22 Continue to use your talents for the Lord.
51:24 Let's not use it for our own glorification,
51:27 for someone else's glorification. Let's use it
51:30 to solely encourage others
51:36 about Christ's soon coming.
51:39 And for you at home, if you want to know how
51:42 you can get in touch with Bro. Art
51:44 and how you can be a part of this ministry, how you can share
51:49 check out the information on your screen now.
