00:03 it was so fascinating. 00:05 But, John, I want to give you an opportunity, 00:07 there are so many people 00:09 who are in the world filled 00:11 with such uncertainty is at the end of times 00:14 what's going on? 00:15 What would you say to people today 00:18 about finding God 00:20 and that righteousness by faith? 00:26 I would encourage any person to start with the Bible, 00:30 and to get to know the God of this book. 00:33 And then to surrender their lives, 00:36 well, that person's life to the one 00:38 who inspired the writing of this book. 00:41 God either is or He isn't. 00:43 I think it's a whole lot easier to prove that 00:45 He is than that He isn't. 00:47 How great. He really is a God. 00:50 We're not here by mistake. 00:52 These are challenging times. 00:54 I challenge anybody to navigate these waters on their own, 00:58 without Christ, really living in that person's heart. 01:03 Christianity becomes a joy 01:05 when you know Jesus, 01:06 and when you know the power of the gospel. 01:08 Amen. 01:09 You've referenced the verse here 01:10 in our conversation, it is God that works in you 01:15 both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 01:17 Amen. 01:19 Christianity is about people coming to God and saying, 01:22 I cannot but I know you can. 01:25 I am not, but I know you are. 01:27 I'm not enough, but you're more than enough. 01:30 And that's His whole plan of salvation. 01:33 Thank you so much for being with us today 01:35 because the plan of salvation 01:38 that God has laid out 01:39 is one of total dependence upon Him. 01:42 That's what humility is, 01:44 is to depend on His leading, His empowerment. 01:48 That's when God stepped down and became the Son of God, 01:53 the Son of Man, that's what 01:54 He did was totally rely on the Father. 01:58 God wants to do that in your life. 02:00 Our prayer for you is that 02:02 the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 02:04 the love of the Father, 02:06 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit 02:08 will be with you always. |
