00:02 Pastor Snead, it's been a blessing, brother, 00:04 to be talking with you, to hear your story, 00:06 to hear how the Lord has just blessed you abundantly. 00:09 Just spending a few minutes with you, 00:10 I feel like I've known you all my life, 00:12 and I could tell 00:14 that you are a genuine brother in Christ 00:15 and that the gospel has transformed you. 00:17 And I bet, brother, there's somebody right now 00:19 that is watching and has been watching this program 00:22 that has been positively affected by your story 00:25 and the gospel message that you've shared here today. 00:27 We have about, hold on, a minute and a half or so. 00:29 If you want to just maybe look into that camera there 00:31 and just maybe give some thoughts of encouragement 00:34 to whoever is watching right now? 00:36 Sure. 00:38 I would just encourage you 00:39 that if you're weighed down with sin, 00:41 if you had a shipwrecked life, if you had a mess to deal with, 00:45 and you think that there is no hope, 00:48 we have a righteousness that stands on our behalf. 00:51 We have a Most High Heavenly Priest ready to forgive you, 00:55 to lead you into a life of repentance. 00:56 And I would urge you to just go through a life of repentance, 01:00 spend your own 10 days of all like in the Old Testament, 01:03 and spend some time going through the record of your life 01:05 and confess it and repenting. 01:07 And God has promised 01:08 that if we'll turn to Christ for our righteousness, 01:10 if we look to Him for forgiveness, 01:12 He has promised as a down payment, 01:14 as a dowry, as a promise of evidence to you 01:16 that He'll send the Holy Spirit into your life 01:18 and you will begin to change. 01:20 The Holy Spirit will begin to do work in your life. 01:22 You will be to transform, 01:24 you'll stop the stuff 01:25 that has been shipwrecking your life. 01:27 And so I would just admonish you this, that, 01:30 that if you need to learn deeper, 01:32 take the book Steps to Christ. 01:34 We don't need to reinvent the wheel. 01:35 I don't want to write no book. 01:37 I want to lead you, 01:38 go through that thing paragraph by paragraph 01:40 and write down the highlights of it. 01:42 Pray it every step of the way, 01:44 get yourself involved in this message 01:46 of righteousness by faith. 01:47 Look at it everywhere in the scriptures 01:49 whether in the Old Testament, 01:51 the sanctuary service, the Book of Daniel, 01:52 the Book of Revelation, the Book of Hebrews, Romans, 01:55 go through your Bible, looking for these themes 01:58 that are found in Steps to Christ 01:59 and your life will transform change. 02:02 And you will have a different experience 02:03 with Christ from now on. 02:05 Praise the Lord. 02:06 Thank you so much, Pastor. 02:07 Thank you guys watching at home. 02:09 I hope you've been blessed today. 02:11 I know I have. 02:12 You'd been watching 3ABN Today, and guess what? 02:14 We're going to see you again tomorrow the next day, 02:17 next week, whenever we see you again. 02:19 God bless you. 02:20 Take care. |
