00:01 My heart has been so blessed today
00:02 as I've heard these incredible stories, 00:04 and we want to squeeze in one more story for you. 00:07 Pastor Lisa, 00:08 could you share a story in closing? 00:09 Absolutely. 00:11 Last summer, we received word 00:12 that there were two of our ASAP ethnic missionaries 00:15 that had been just eating a meal 00:17 with some people in a village, 00:19 and they knocked and come at the door. 00:20 And the policemen were there saying, 00:22 "We're taking you away, 00:24 we're going to arrest you." 00:26 There was no reason, 00:28 they hadn't been charged with anything. 00:29 They're just put in jail. 00:32 And they began to pray, told us, we began to pray. 00:38 And we are hoping that they would just be led out 00:41 in a day or two. 00:43 And instead, the days went on, it was over a week. 00:46 I don't remember the exact amount of time 00:48 that they were in there, but we just kept praying. 00:50 The people in that closed country were praying. 00:52 They didn't know what would happen, 00:54 things are not fair in these countries. 00:57 And when they got out, 00:59 we were just praising the Lord because, 01:01 okay, you know, it's not a long sentence, 01:04 it was maybe two weeks that they were in jail, 01:08 and we were praising the Lord. 01:09 And then we got word 01:11 from what would be similar 01:13 to the conference president there. 01:14 And he said, "Let me tell you the rest of the story." 01:17 And he said, "While they were in this jail, 01:20 all of their cellmates came to know Jesus Christ. 01:25 Eight people became Christians while they were in jail." 01:29 And not only that, 01:30 but I believe it was the three policemen 01:33 that had come to arrest them 01:34 were asking questions about the gospel. 01:36 Amen.
