00:35 And if you love to hear
00:37 music played by the maestro himself,
00:40 you're at the right channel.
00:41 Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you, Dino.
04:18 Amen, praise the Lord. Thank you.
04:21 That beautiful or what?
04:22 Oh, wow, that's exciting. Wow.
04:24 Well, caroling to me is so amazing
04:26 during the Christmas season,
04:28 like we're going to do it right now.
04:30 And by the way, it's great to be with you.
04:32 Thank you.
04:33 It's good to have you here
04:34 and your beautiful wife, Cheryl,
04:36 thank you for being here.
04:37 Thank you so much.
04:38 And, you know... It's a joy to be here.
04:40 Yvonne and I love you, and we love your singing voice.
04:41 You've got such a great voice.
04:43 We have a wonderful staff.
04:45 We've been to a lot of studios
04:46 and lot of networks we've played on,
04:47 you know, over the years.
04:49 Oh, I know.
04:50 But I got to say, your staff here is one of the best.
04:53 Praise the Lord for that.
04:54 It's a great stage to be on for sure.
04:55 Absolutely.
04:57 And speaking of that, we have Ryan Day over here,
04:59 and we have Pastor John Lomacang.
05:01 And your friends came from... Brenda Hayes, Brenda,
05:04 she's on our staff.
05:05 She came from where now?
05:07 Granada city, Illinois. Granada City, Illinois.
05:08 And of course, Jill Morikone and...
05:10 Yes.
05:11 Tim Parton back here, and Tammy Chance,
05:12 and Yvonne and myself.
05:14 I just have the Tim, you know.
05:16 That's like a theme song.
05:18 We're all thrilled to be here.
05:20 But what we're going to do
05:21 is we get to sing with Dino, folks.
05:23 So ain't that amazing?
05:25 Yes. We watched you.
05:26 And literally, I guess we've seen you
05:29 in many places around the world
05:30 for at least, you know, 10 years...
05:32 Hundred years. Yeah, right.
05:33 Ten or fifteen years. It's been a while back.
05:36 And, you know, we haven't changed a bit, have we
05:37 over a 100 years?
05:39 And you know what,
05:40 there's very few people that we've ever introduced.
05:42 We just give one name.
05:43 Right. That's true.
05:44 Elvis hasn't been on the program,
05:46 and then he died before 3ABN,
05:48 but we can say Dino and people know...
05:49 That's right.
05:51 We call Dino II, so...
05:52 I like Dino better.
05:54 Introducing Dino,
05:55 that really would go over there.
05:56 Just like the Dino part.
05:58 All right,
05:59 so we're just here to help today,
06:00 and we're thrilled to be here.
06:02 So tell us a little bit about the program
06:03 and what we're going to be doing.
06:05 And I think they're going to have us sing
06:06 and some of us are just now walking on.
06:07 And so I have no idea, Tammy,
06:09 what's going on and, Jill, so.
06:10 Well, the deal is this,
06:12 we want not only you folks to sing,
06:13 we want thousands of people that are watching to sing.
06:15 We want you to join in
06:17 because this is called Grand Caroling.
06:19 I mean, it's going to be amazing.
06:20 Oh, great. World's largest choir.
06:21 Yeah.
06:23 Around the world.
06:24 And I'll lead you into each carol
06:26 because we're going to kind of impromptu this
06:27 a little bit, okay?
06:28 Good. Good. This sounds like fun.
06:30 You all ready for this?
06:31 Yes, yes. So we're ready.
06:32 All right, let's go, Grand Caroling.
06:41 Joy to the world.

07:14 Very good. Great.
07:16 Now join us as we sing the next part.
07:19 The first Noel.
07:22 The First Noel,
07:26 The Angels did say
07:29 Was to certain poor shepherds
07:33 In fields as they lay
07:37 In fields where they lay
07:42 Keeping their sheep
07:45 On a cold winter's night
07:49 That was so deep
07:53 Noel, Noel,
07:57 Noel Noel
08:02 Born is the King of Israel
08:10 Noel, Noel
08:14 Noel Noel
08:18 Born is the King of Israel!
08:26 That's beautiful.
08:28 So nice.
08:29 You're doing so well, it's great.
08:32 Angels we have heard on high.
08:36 Angels we have heard on high
08:40 Sweetly singing o'er the plains
08:45 And the mountains in reply
08:50 Echoing their joyous strains
08:55 Gloria
09:04 In excelsis Deo

09:18 In excelsis Deo
09:24 One more to go.
09:26 Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.
09:28 Glory to the new born king.
09:31 Raise your voices as you sing now, everywhere,
09:33 all over the world.
09:34 Come on, sing with us.
09:37 Hark! The herald angels sing
09:42 Glory to the new-born King!
09:47 Peace on earth And mercy mild

10:11 Christ is born in Bethlehem.
10:16 Hark! The herald angels sing
10:21 Glory to the new-born King!
10:43 Whoo! Glory.
10:45 Wow, wonderful.
10:46 Amen, praise the Lord.
10:47 Give yourselves a hand. It's great.
10:49 Well, we'll give the Lord a hand.
10:50 That's amazing.
10:52 Incredible. Wow!
10:53 Well, you know,
10:55 this is what Christmas is about.
10:56 We're talking about the birth of Jesus.
10:58 Yes. That's right.
10:59 That God sent His Son to this earth...
11:00 That's right.
11:02 To be born a manger with, story doesn't end there.
11:03 Doesn't end there.
11:04 Yes, He was born a manger,
11:06 but He grew up to become the Savior of this world
11:07 and soon can be King.
11:09 That's right.
11:10 That's the story right there, gospel story.
11:12 That's what it's all about.
11:14 Well, guys, ready to go on the road?
11:17 The bus is waiting outside to go...
11:20 Well, I hope you at home are having as much fun
11:22 as we are here today.
11:23 You all having a good time?
11:25 Yeah.
11:26 I mean, this is something that we get together
11:27 at this time of year,
11:29 and we should all, season,
11:31 but so many times don't wait,
11:32 we just wait till Christmas time
11:34 and the holidays to get together.
11:35 It's true, and this to be together like this
11:38 in this beautiful studio,
11:39 which is absolutely gorgeous, you know.
11:41 And if you've never been here,
11:42 you got to come and see this place.
11:44 It's fantastic. Absolutely.
11:45 But I thought since you're all together here,
11:46 I'm going to take advantage of this group here
11:48 because you all are singing so well.
11:49 Can we sing,
11:51 "O Come Let Us Adore Him."
11:55 O come let us adore Him
12:01 O come let us Adore Him
12:07 Christ the Lord
12:11 For He alone is worthy.
12:13 For He alone is worthy
12:19 For He alone Is worthy
12:25 For He alone is worthy
12:32 Christ the Lord
12:37 You know, we mustn't forget what this is all about.
12:40 I mean, this season is about the birth of Jesus.
12:44 And I'll tell you He's worthy of...
12:47 I mean,
12:48 we loved... I can tell, I was watching you,
12:50 I can tell you guys love Jesus
12:51 because we're worshipping him...
12:52 Amen.
12:54 I got a little surprise.
12:55 Okay, we love surprises. Everybody likes surprises.
12:58 Now we don't put a lot of emphasis on gifts,
13:00 but we're willing to open to it right now.
13:02 If you have something, you know,
13:04 that you want to share with us,
13:06 we're open to gifts, right?
13:07 When you say that to Greek, they go "Opa."
13:10 Little Christmas party.
13:12 Well, okay,
13:13 most of you may have know already,
13:14 but may know that we came out
13:16 with a brand new hymnal, praise God.
13:18 Oh, wonderful.
13:19 A 101 hymns,
13:21 the most favorite hymns called Hymn Restoration.
13:24 Bringing back the hymns of the Church.
13:26 And I just happen to have hymnals
13:29 for each and everyone,
13:30 I'm giving to you as a Christmas gift.
13:31 Oh. Wonderful, wonderful.
13:33 This is for you.
13:34 Cheryl, you already have one, okay?
13:36 I have two. Cheryl's got one.
13:38 All right, there we go, they're all yours.
13:39 Pass one down.
13:41 Thank you so much. My pleasure.
13:42 These are beautiful too.
13:43 These are yours.
13:45 Now do Yvonne and I have to share
13:46 or do we get one of each?
13:48 No, you get yours.
13:49 Oh, good, good.
13:50 You're not always together, so you can have your own.
13:52 Thank you.
13:53 These are beautiful.
13:54 Hymn Restoration.
13:56 They kind of look like Christmas.
13:57 Hundred and one treasured hymns.
13:59 Now I know our audience very well,
14:00 and they're going to want this
14:01 later on, you have to promise to give us an address,
14:03 so they can contact you about all these beautiful...
14:05 Just so, you know, I didn't bring it to promote.
14:07 No, no, no. But since you mentioned it.
14:08 I know you didn't, you didn't talk about it...
14:09 Thank you so much.
14:11 But there is one thing I want them to know.
14:12 There's one thing I want you to know
14:14 and that is that these also contain devotionals
14:17 and give you a little history about this hymns.
14:20 Oh, wonderful, each one.
14:21 Every time...
14:23 You did those, right?
14:24 I did. Wonderful.
14:25 I did. I did. I love it.
14:27 But I want you to gain those information.
14:28 Beautiful.
14:30 Thank you so much.
14:31 I thought of maybe one of those wonderful hymns
14:32 that we don't hear that often in church anymore.
14:34 "O worship the King." Oh, we love that.
14:35 Oh, yes.
14:36 Don't you think it's appropriate for Christmas.
14:38 I think we're here to worship the King for sure.
14:40 And what page is that, Tim?
14:41 Sixty-five. One-thirty-six.
14:44 One-thirty-six.
14:45 Page 136, and it's number 65.
14:47 Is it 36 or 35?
14:48 Sixty-five. Sixty-five.
14:50 Oh, I got it all wrong, it's 65.
14:53 And Timmy... What...
14:56 Timmy, I'm calling him, Tim.
14:57 Tiny Tim I was hoping.
15:00 Tim, what key is it in?
15:02 What key you wanted to be in?
15:04 It's written in A flat.
15:06 Oh, it's A flat.
15:07 Yeah.
15:09 I like it lower.
15:10 Let's take it lower. Let's go lower.
15:12 There you go. Thank you.
15:14 Now you can sing along with us, guys, come on.
15:16 And someday when you have this hymnal,
15:17 we'll have hymn singing, we'll just open the books
15:19 and just sing for an hour, you know.
15:21 Sure.
15:22 So let me play the introduction.
15:28 O worship the king
15:32 All glorious above
15:35 O gratefully sing
15:39 His power and his love
15:42 Our shield and defender
15:46 The Ancient of days
15:49 Pavilioned in splendor
15:53 And girded with praise
15:57 Can we do the last verse?
15:58 That's a good one. Yes. Let's do another one.
16:00 Frail children of dust And feeble as frail
16:07 In You do we trust
16:10 Nor find You to fail
16:14 Your mercies how tender
16:17 How firm to the end
16:21 Our maker, defender
16:25 Redeemer and friend
16:31 Thank you so much. Amen.
16:33 Blessed to be here to hear that hymn.
16:35 It's just wonderful. Thank you.
16:37 I'm really excited about this song book,
16:40 and the hymns book, Yvonne.
16:42 And what I'm thinking, maybe we could put an address,
16:44 put Dino's address up on the screen
16:47 for those of you who want to go to the website
16:49 and look at this.
16:50 I think it's something that everybody would want.
16:52 In fact, it may be time
16:53 that you would already have time to get it,
16:55 maybe give it to somebody...
16:56 Before Christmas. For Christmas.
16:57 And that's a great thing to give, right?
16:59 Give something away that's literally uplifting
17:02 the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
17:03 And, you know, it looks Christmasy.
17:05 Put a nice gold bow around it,
17:07 give it to your grandma or your children.
17:09 Absolutely. We love it.
17:11 Thank you for mentioning that.
17:12 Giving to the children is a wonderful thing
17:14 because they don't know about these hymns.
17:17 And there is the devotional in there,
17:20 but also the history, and there are CDs.
17:23 There are CDs.
17:24 So you get CDs of you playing all of these songs?
17:26 Every one of the hymns, 101.
17:28 I mean, this is a great, great gift.
17:29 So CDs of all the songs, you got the devotionals
17:34 and about how the songs were written.
17:36 That's wonderful.
17:37 And thank you, by the way for giving us.
17:39 You're welcome, my pleasure.
17:41 Yvonne and I could share, but we kind of got selfish
17:42 and said we'd each like one just to have get you guys
17:45 to sign it of course, for sure.
17:48 You know, we pray for our troops,
17:49 you know, that are overseas and that God protects them,
17:53 you know, who are in some really dangerous stuff
17:55 going on right now.
17:56 And wouldn't be nice to have your son come happy
18:01 for Christmas.
18:02 Oh, yeah.
18:03 Play it. It's wonderful.
18:07 I dedicate this to all the servicemen
18:09 and women.
18:18 I just wanted to play that little bit
18:19 for those of us...
18:21 That's beautiful. What a beautiful melody anyway.
18:22 Isn't it a beautiful melody? Yes.
18:24 The words.
18:25 And I heard about World War II how they, soldiers, you know,
18:27 this song was really big because...
18:29 That's right, exactly.
18:30 They were hoping that the family would be home,
18:32 you know, for the Christmas season for sure.
18:34 I remember when I was in the service,
18:36 I was looking forward to coming home for Christmas.
18:38 And so it's really an important time
18:41 to be with family.
18:42 Of course, we have to have our servicemen there too,
18:45 you know, to protect us.
18:47 But anyway, we love our military folk.
18:49 Yes. Absolutely.
18:50 Well, we have to play a tribute to them,
18:52 you know, that we appreciate you so much.
18:53 What we'd like to do is take just a couple minutes
18:54 because for some of the folk
18:56 and I know most of our audience I'm sure knows Dino,
18:59 they know Cheryl.
19:00 But tell us just a little bit about your music career
19:04 how it started,
19:05 and we can do it in just a couple minutes.
19:07 Give us the short version
19:08 'cause we want to hear you play a lot more.
19:10 But tell us, you know, how did you...
19:11 Why the gospel music?
19:13 You could play anything you wanted to play,
19:14 and you could be a so called Star
19:16 if you wanted to be, which you choose to to say...
19:19 Right, serve God, yeah.
19:20 Play for the Lord. Why? Why?
19:22 Well, it all started with a little toy
19:23 from the Salvation Army,
19:24 Okay, for Christmas.
19:27 You know, our family was poor.
19:29 They just came from Greece,
19:30 but we didn't know we were poor.
19:32 Okay.
19:33 You know, my parents,
19:35 you know, we didn't know that.
19:36 But not much money, but we felt like we were fine.
19:40 But when I played for the...
19:41 I was about five years old
19:42 when I played Salvation Army as a little kid,
19:45 and they paid me,
19:47 like 25 cents or something
19:49 because that was a big deal for a little kid, right,
19:52 back then.
19:54 But that toy was a gift that I'll never forget about,
19:57 and the Salvation Army people,
19:59 I'll always appreciate them for that.
20:02 I love because I started playing when I was three,
20:04 so back up a little bit.
20:05 And then of course, five, I started taking piano lessons.
20:10 You know, every young pianists play that.
20:12 And of course, I was not reading the notes
20:15 because I played everything by ear.
20:17 So the piano teacher put the book out there,
20:18 and I'd stare at one space as I was reading it, you know.
20:21 Okay.
20:22 Excuse me,
20:23 then I fooled her for a couple of years,
20:25 I mean, it took a two years to realize
20:27 that I was faking it, right?
20:30 Slow learner would you say though.
20:32 So once she did, we...
20:34 The family got together with me and said,
20:36 you know, Dino, God has given this gift,
20:37 you know, I started sharpening that ability.
20:39 And I always encourage young people
20:42 to find out what that gift is,
20:44 you know, define what that gift is
20:45 and then sharpen it,
20:47 you know, study it.
20:48 And of course, we are Christian.
20:50 I was a Christian.
20:51 I was very, very young, and I wanted to...
20:53 I wanted to practice because I wanted to be,
20:56 back then, I would say the best pianist in the world,
20:58 you know, because I was serving God,
21:00 and I wanted to give the very best that I had.
21:03 But then of course, you know,
21:04 I accepted Christ, was very young and my...
21:07 I studied piano in New York City
21:08 and did some studies in Juilliard, and...
21:13 You finally had to pay attention to the notes.
21:15 Yeah, that's how I picked it.
21:17 But the whole time through all that education,
21:20 my focus, my purpose was
21:21 to serve God with the gifts that He's given me.
21:24 And fast forward,
21:26 here we are on your network.
21:27 And that's exactly what we're doing,
21:29 we're blessing people. Praise the Lord.
21:31 And you've got a big tour coming up this year.
21:33 Yeah, well. You don't want to miss it.
21:34 And also I want to say that
21:36 there's maybe a little more time
21:38 before Christmas you guys
21:39 are doing programs down at Branson.
21:41 Oh, yeah, Christmas show. What's the name of the theater?
21:43 At the Shepherd of the Hills' Playhouse Theatre.
21:46 Okay, Shepherd of the Hills' Playhouse Theatre.
21:48 And that's on what? Tuesday and...
21:50 Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
21:52 Saturday, okay.
21:53 And they get dinner with their ticket.
21:54 Oh, they get dinner.
21:56 Or lunch. Or lunch.
21:57 Ain't that great? It's going to be great.
21:58 I'm hungry right now. Can me and you go down?
22:00 Me too. I want to go.
22:02 I want to go. You want to go too?
22:03 Yes, I do. Okay.
22:05 Well, you see that, you can't say no to that.
22:07 Oh my goodness, no.
22:09 It's an intimate theater,
22:10 like it says, dinner theater, and it's...
22:13 I have my Austrian crystal piano there.
22:14 It's beautiful.
22:16 It's going to be just a night to come
22:17 and just feel good about yourself,
22:19 and I always end
22:20 with the true meaning of Christmas.
22:22 Oh, that's great. What Christmas is all about?
22:24 God sent His Son to this earth to die
22:26 as I mentioned a while ago, you know.
22:28 I came to be born in a manger,
22:30 then grew up to die
22:31 and then grew up to kind of save this world, you know.
22:33 Great testimony.
22:35 Cheryl, little bit, your background.
22:36 You grew up in a musical family,
22:38 of course your brother Gary, he's sang with a vocal band
22:40 and sing around the world and...
22:42 The Gaither Trio, oh, yes.
22:43 So this time of the year, Christmas,
22:44 did y'all get together?
22:46 Maybe you still doing, sing a little bit?
22:47 Do you still get a chance? Well, not too much.
22:48 My parents were known as the singing pastors,
22:51 and they had a radio program every morning
22:54 that was, excuse my age, but pre-TV.
22:57 Okay.
22:58 And so we, Gary and I sang harmony,
23:03 I get to do the harmony with him.
23:05 And we sang on the radio.
23:07 And that's the beginning of my wonderful career.
23:11 And then you guys met how long ago?
23:14 A long time ago.
23:15 Oh, goodness, many, many years back now.
23:17 A long time ago. I was playing a concert.
23:18 I walked out, there were Cheryl sitting out there,
23:20 and I said, "Okay, thank you, Jesus."
23:23 That's what I did.
23:25 And we have two wonderful daughters.
23:27 Oh!
23:29 Sheree and Christina.
23:30 And then we have two granddaughters.
23:32 Oh, that's fun.
23:34 And then we have a great granddaughter now.
23:35 Oh, you're not old enough for that.
23:37 Now I'm not going for that.
23:40 Probably be okay.
23:41 You started young.
23:43 Yeah, ain't that wonderful?
23:44 Actually, yes.
23:46 You know, I would...
23:47 Yeah, our backgrounds are very similar, right.
23:50 We have both raised in a church and our parents.
23:53 My dad was a Christian at the time when I was a child.
23:55 But of course, Cheryl's parents were ministers, you know.
23:59 And so we first met, I mean,
24:02 we really related very well,
24:03 you know, sang the same music,
24:06 you know, mansion over the hilltop
24:08 and all those songs that we grew up with, right?
24:11 But ain't it interesting that everyone,
24:14 I came from Southern Illinois here kind of country,
24:16 you came from New York.
24:17 So this time of year,
24:19 how did you kind of get into this spirit?
24:21 And did you do these types of songs or your churches,
24:24 or did you go out caroling, or what did you do?
24:27 We didn't go out caroling,
24:28 but we used to do a lot of like the Messiah,
24:31 stuff like that at Church,
24:33 and I just, I grew up with that.
24:34 Your grandma had that.
24:36 My grandmother had the new believers' choir,
24:38 Rosalie Jones.
24:39 A lot of folk will know her,
24:41 Yes, they will.
24:42 And she just...
24:44 She would do the Messiah every year.
24:46 And so I grew up playing it at home,
24:48 singing it in Church and just loving it.
24:52 All around the world,
24:53 especially this time of year that I always like to say
24:56 it's the only time here you can go into stores and,
24:59 you know, businesses all over and they're playing,
25:02 you know, music that's speaking about the Lord Jesus Christ.
25:04 Isn't it wonderful? Yeah.
25:06 Let's take advantage of that. Yeah.
25:07 We're not going to argue
25:09 that Christ was born on December 25.
25:10 We know He wasn't.
25:12 But that's not the whole point.
25:13 The point is He was born.
25:14 And He did give us life on the cross of Calvary.
25:17 And because of that great plan of salvation,
25:20 you and me have the hope of eternal life.
25:22 All we have to do is accept Jesus Christ
25:25 as Lord and Savior of our life,
25:27 then go and tell what He's done for us.
25:29 That's what everybody should be a ye.
25:31 That's what I tell folks, Go ye into all the world.
25:34 So Dino and Cheryl, you are going to all the world.
25:37 And this year, this coming year
25:39 you're doing a lot of traveling.
25:42 And so we're believing for you guys
25:44 are looking at a bus, they need a bus
25:46 because they got folks going with them
25:47 and there's beautiful bus.
25:48 Yes.
25:50 And we're believing with you that you get that bus.
25:51 Thank you.
25:53 So maybe some of you when you put the address
25:54 if you want to tuck in little love gift
25:55 for these folks, to help towards, they need it.
25:57 And they're travelling, a lot of folk with them.
25:59 Yeah.
26:01 And they're going from church to church to church.
26:02 In fact, if you are interested, go to the website, say,
26:05 "Can you put me on the schedule?"
26:07 We think that our people,
26:09 not only us old folk
26:10 but the young people in the Church
26:11 need to get back to the great hymns,
26:14 the pillars of the Church today.
26:16 And we include the choir and,
26:19 we just came off a tour, you know,
26:21 and because you've watched us last couple months,
26:24 and people are being saved.
26:27 I mean, it's a revival, it's a hidden revival.
26:31 Yeah. And that's the bottom line.
26:32 We want to see lives changed, you know, by the power of God.
26:35 So we just got off that tour.
26:36 And we were in a Winnebago. Yeah.
26:38 And my back right now hurts because...
26:41 Yeah, you need a little bit,
26:42 something a little bit more comfortable.
26:44 So I'm looking forward to you. We got to provide it.
26:45 We are appreciative of that,
26:46 but we do need a better vehicle to travel in.
26:50 So that maestro can rest.
26:53 That's right.
26:55 Get a little bit of rest.
26:56 All right, now, we're now going to let him rest.
26:58 Maybe we should turn you loose
26:59 and just, play to your little heart's content.
27:01 Well, I'll tell you what we do.
27:03 I'm going to play something I haven't played in my show.
27:04 Of course, the show is very productive,
27:06 productions, we have a lot of lights,
27:08 and it's very, very pretty.
27:10 And after my first number, which is a big number,
27:13 I just sit at the piano, lights dim
27:14 or actually Christmas trees come up slowly as I play.
28:49 I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
28:52 Sing along with us.
28:55 I'm dreaming
28:59 Of a white Christmas
29:06 Just like the ones
29:09 I used to know
29:14 Where the treetops glisten
29:20 And children listen
29:25 To hear
29:29 Sleigh bells in the snow
29:37 I'm dreaming
29:41 Of a white Christmas
29:48 With every Christmas card
29:52 I write
29:56 May your days be
30:00 Merry and bright
30:09 And may all your Christmases
30:17 Be white
30:42 It's wonderful.
30:44 It's great.
30:45 Merry Christmas. I love it.
30:47 Merry Christmas. I love it.
30:49 Yes, it just puts you in that mood.
30:51 It does.
31:16 Some children see Him lily white
31:23 The baby Jesus born this night
31:29 Some children see Him lily white
31:36 With tresses soft and fair
31:43 Some children see Him bronzed and brown
31:50 The Lord of heav'n to earth come down
31:56 Some children see Him bronzed and brown
32:04 With dark and heavy hair
32:22 Some children see Him almond-eyed
32:30 This Savior whom we kneel beside
32:36 Some children see Him almond-eyed
32:43 With skin of yellow hue
32:49 Some children see Him dark as they
32:56 Sweet Mary's Son to whom we pray
33:03 Some children see him dark as they
33:10 And, oh they love Him too
33:17 The children in each different place
33:25 Will see the baby Jesus' face
33:32 Like theirs, but bright, with heavenly grace
33:40 And filled with holy light
33:46 Oh lay aside each earthly thing
33:53 And with thy heart as offering
34:03 Come worship now the infant King
34:11 'Tis love that's born tonight
34:20 'Tis love
34:25 That's born tonight
40:25 Oh, how I love Him
40:28 down from His glory, one of my favorite songs,
40:31 especially during the Christmas season
40:32 to know that God sent His Son to this earth
40:34 from the glory to this earth be born in a manger.
40:39 What a pleasure it is to sit here
40:41 at the piano of this wonderful setting.
40:44 I used to play the songs
40:45 that we sing during this Christmas season.
40:49 It's a real pretty carol.
41:40 "Silent Night."
41:45 Sing it with me if you want.
44:16 One of the favorites.
44:17 "O Holy Night."
44:19 This is the time of the year
44:21 that we should be celebrating the birthday of Jesus.
44:23 I know gifts are great.
44:25 It's wonderful to exchange gifts.
44:27 I like presents for sure. But that's fine.
44:30 In hustle and bustle of the season,
44:32 you go shopping and thinking about family,
44:35 and that's all wonderful.
44:36 Please don't forget whose birthday this is.
44:42 It's the birthday of Jesus.
44:47 Jesus, isn't it wonderful
44:49 that we're living Christ in Christmas?
44:51 Oh, yeah, of course.
44:53 That's what it's all about.
44:56 It's the birthday of Christ.
44:58 Let me play something now.
45:02 It's on one of my albums, like Christmas albums,
45:06 as quite appropriate for today,
45:08 what's going on with this world.
45:11 Let it be peace on earth.
45:14 And let it begin in you and me.
48:55 And let it begin in me.
48:57 Father, we thank you for the peace
49:00 that you give in our hearts,
49:01 that we receive you as our personal Savior,
49:04 even through the difficult times.
49:06 Whatever one may be going through
49:08 right now this very moment,
49:10 during this Christmas season, give them peace,
49:14 knowing that everything is being taken care of.
49:17 Father, you are the Prince of peace,
49:19 Prince of peace and our God.
49:23 We love you so much.
49:25 And we thank you for all the gifts
49:26 that you've given us.
49:28 The greatest gift is the gift
49:31 of sweet Jesus.
49:35 The gift of eternal life, someday,
49:37 but we receive you as our personal Savior.
49:42 Let there be peace on earth and let it begin in me.
49:44 What a wonderful opportunity that God has given me
49:46 to be able to sit here at this wonderful station 3ABN
49:50 and just sit here and just play.
49:52 That's all, as well like I'm in your living room.
49:54 This could be your living room. This is beautiful.
49:58 Hope we'll bring a little warmth in your life.
50:01 And if you're there all alone sitting in your house,
50:04 and you have no one around you, I want you to know
50:05 that we love you here at this ministry.
50:08 We love you so much.
50:10 And we always love to take the time
50:12 to sit here and play and sing
50:14 and just give joys, joy and happiness,
50:16 bring joy and happiness into your lives.
50:18 But I really do love doing this more,
50:20 more than anything else.
50:21 Someone asked me today, "After all these years,
50:23 you still love playing the piano."
50:25 Absolutely.
50:26 I started playing when I was three years old.
50:28 I'm still playing it right now, I'm 24.
50:31 I'm only kidding, no.
50:33 I've been around a long time. I really have.
50:36 And it's a pleasure to be able to play throughout the world.
50:41 You know, what's great about what I do at the piano?
50:43 Do you know that I can go to any country in this world
50:47 and play it in any language?
50:50 You get it?
50:52 Some of you get it later, right?
50:54 I can play in Chinese,
50:55 I can play in Russian, I can play in...
50:56 Listen, we've been to all these countries,
50:59 no matter where I go, and I play,
51:00 it communicates the love, the peace, the joy
51:03 that Jesus Christ could give.
51:05 Specially during this Christmas season, specially.
51:10 That's wonderful.
51:12 I want to play you something that,
51:14 as a lot of you know, Cheryl, my wife and I,
51:17 we perform it in Branson, Missouri,
51:19 and we've done that for years.
51:21 And I know a lot of you probably have come
51:22 to see our show.
51:23 And especially this year,
51:25 we're very excited to be at Shepherd of the hills
51:26 as was spoken a while ago.
51:28 And for the Danny had mentioned about our show,
51:32 and that we welcome you,
51:34 whenever you come to Branson, please come to see us
51:37 because we'd love to have you in our theater.
51:39 And also do you know that that I love to bake,
51:43 and I know how to make
51:45 the best carrot cake in the world.
51:46 Am I bragging or what?
51:48 But you know what, I love to bake,
51:50 and we've got the best carrot cake.
51:51 And in fact,
51:53 we have a store in Branson, Missouri on Main Street,
51:56 it's called 24 Karrot Cake cafe.
52:00 Now if you are in Branson,
52:02 I want you to come see our show,
52:03 you got to come see us at the café.
52:04 And who knows, I may be there,
52:06 we'll sit down, have a cup of tea or whatever,
52:09 whatever you Geritol, whatever you guys like,
52:13 and we'll have a slice of cake
52:15 and just enjoy the fellowship together.
52:16 I'd love doing that. I really do.
52:18 That's why I love the café.
52:21 And the 24 Karrot Cake,
52:22 I think will really bless your heart,
52:24 and your tummy at the same time for sure.
52:27 I want to play something right now
52:28 that is very powerful.
52:30 It's a Christmas song that you don't hear too often
52:32 in Christmas season.
52:34 It goes way back, way back.
52:36 And I think this is my hymn book.
52:37 But this is titled,
52:42 "The Birthday of the King."
52:46 And it goes like this.
56:38 "Birthday of the King."
56:39 Hallelujah!
56:41 Praise God.
56:42 Oh, this has been wonderful to be with you, to play at all.
56:46 I thank brother Danny.
56:49 I call him Danny
56:51 because he's such a good friend,
56:52 and Yvonne and ET and all the folks,
56:54 all these guys that are handling the cameras
56:56 and back in the control room.
56:58 Boy, what a wonderful team to have around you,
57:01 especially to do a Christmas special like this.
57:03 We hope you enjoyed this so much.
57:06 And we pray that you have the best Christmas
57:08 you've ever had this year.
57:11 And I pray that that son or daughter, or grandchild
57:13 will come around you
57:15 or those who haven't seen you for a long time,
57:17 this would be the time of the year to come together
57:19 and just celebrate
57:24 the birthday of Jesus.
57:27 Because that's what Christmas is all about.
57:33 Thank you, Lord.
57:34 Thank for each and every person that's been watching.
57:36 Bless them.
57:38 Give them the gifts that they were required
57:40 in their lives right now.
57:42 And we're here to continue to bless you and praise you
57:45 and give you all the honor and all the glory
57:47 for what you have done,
57:50 in our lives, in families.
