00:45 And the mountains in reply
00:49 Echoing their joyous strains
00:53 Gloria
01:01 In excelsis Deo
01:04 Gloria
01:12 In excelsis Deo
01:36 Gloria
01:44 In excelsis Deo
01:48 Gloria
01:56 In excelsis Deo
02:14 And all the people said amen. Amen.
02:17 Wow. Praise the Lord.
02:19 Well, hello, and welcome to...
02:21 You can see we're doing our little Christmas program.
02:23 What a beautiful set behind us.
02:24 I know, isn't it beautiful?
02:26 Is this your house we're in, Tim?
02:27 Yes, this is. It's beautiful, lovely, okay.
02:28 Just for today. Lovely, just for today.
02:31 And that was beautiful.
02:32 You see the snow out the windows,
02:33 and all of that.
02:35 Boy, this will put you in the mood
02:36 for a Christmas, doesn't it?
02:38 It does. It does. Absolutely.
02:40 If snow is your thing.
02:41 Yeah, if snow is your thing.
02:43 That's true.
02:44 Yeah, we've been in the Bahamas most of the time
02:46 or somewhere like that, you know...
02:48 I think next year we're gonna be
02:49 over in Trinidad and Tobago.
02:50 Trinidad and Tobago. Yeah.
02:52 And so I don't know that
02:53 this would go with Trinidad, so...
02:55 Yeah, no, no that wouldn't go over there.
02:56 If you're watching from Trinidad...
02:57 But in Southern Illinois, we could get this
02:59 or we may not get it but anyway,
03:00 the good part is we can look out the windows
03:02 and just enjoy it that way.
03:04 We got a fireplace behind us here.
03:06 We're glad that you're joining us today.
03:08 And so this is something we don't make Christmas
03:11 a big deal would to get to the commercial side of it.
03:14 But every year we acknowledge
03:15 what a wonderful time of the year
03:18 to be able to talk and to sing about Jesus.
03:20 And I always say it's about the only time of the year
03:22 you can go into Walmart or Target,
03:24 all these kind of stores and hear songs.
03:26 It's actually somebody singing about Jesus, you know...
03:28 Yes. And that's amazing to me.
03:31 So, yes, we understand please don't write in and say,
03:34 you know, Christ wasn't born on December 25.
03:36 We know that for sure.
03:37 So we're not here telling you that today,
03:40 but Jesus is the reason for this season.
03:42 That's right.
03:43 And so we wanna take every opportunity that we can,
03:45 advantage of every opportunity to tell the world about
03:48 the Lord Jesus Christ and His soon coming.
03:51 And so we're so thankful.
03:53 And Christmas, we talked about His birth so much.
03:55 That's right.
03:57 Birth, His resurrection, you know...
03:58 And what a wonderful gift He is to the world.
04:01 Gift of salvation for sure.
04:02 So today it's good to have Tim Parton.
04:05 You to be here with this, in fact,
04:07 he and Yvonne is the program today,
04:09 I'm just kind of jumping in with you all a little bit.
04:10 No.
04:12 I know how much you love music.
04:13 I'm sure music was a part of your Christmases?
04:15 Well, it was. You singing?
04:16 Yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Dad played guitar?
04:18 Yeah, my dad played guitar, my mom played the piano,
04:21 my older brother Tommy,
04:22 when we got a little older he played the piano,
04:24 my brother Ronnie the bass,
04:25 and Kenny, me play a little guitar.
04:27 And we didn't play like the Tim Parton,
04:29 like the Parton family did.
04:31 But we had a good time
04:33 and enjoyed the Christmas season.
04:35 Of course, the weather, we didn't always have snow,
04:37 but it's still cold out, and it's a good time to get in,
04:40 and gather around,
04:41 and spend time together as family.
04:43 So today, thank you for joining us.
04:45 We wanna spend time with you, wherever you are,
04:47 whether it's really cold or whether it's warm.
04:50 There's sunshine in our souls today.
04:52 And that's the way it should be,
04:54 but we're gonna do a little bit of music
04:55 that you will often hear this season.
04:58 And sing along with us all the songs that you know.
05:07 Joy to the world, The Lord has come
05:11 Let earth receive her King
05:16 Let every heart Prepare Him room
05:21 And heaven and nature sing
05:23 And heaven and nature sing
05:26 And heaven, And heaven, nature sing
05:34 Joy to the world, The Savior reigns!
05:39 Let men their songs employ
05:44 While fields and floods, Rocks, hills and plains
05:49 Repeat the sounding joy
05:51 Repeat the sounding joy
05:53 Repeat, repeat, The sounding joy
06:18 He rules the world.
06:21 He rules the world With truth and grace
06:25 And makes the nations prove
06:30 The glories of His righteousness
06:35 And wonders of His love And wonders of His love
06:39 And wonders, wonders Of His love
06:55 Hark!
06:57 the herald angels sing
07:01 Glory to the new-born King!
07:06 Peace on earth, and mercy mild
07:11 God and sinners reconciled
07:16 Joyful, all ye nations, rise
07:21 Join the triumph of the skies
07:26 With the angelic host proclaim
07:32 Christ is born in Bethlehem
07:37 Hark! the herald angels sing
07:41 Glory to the new-born King!
07:53 Christ, by highest Heaven adored
07:57 Christ, the everlasting Lord
08:01 Late in time behold him come
08:06 Offspring of the favored one
08:10 Veiled in flesh, The Godhead see
08:14 Hail, the incarnate Deity
08:19 Pleased, as man, With men to dwell
08:23 Jesus, our Emmanuel!
08:28 Hark! the herald angels sing
08:33 Glory to the new-born King!
09:04 Hark! the herald angels sing
09:09 Glory to the new-born King!
09:19 All right. Amen.
09:21 It's beautiful. Amen. Praise the Lord.
09:23 Yvonne, can you imagine what it would be like
09:25 to have all that music going underneath you?
09:28 And we have no conception,
09:30 no idea how you can play fields,
09:34 now a lot of people when they chord
09:35 they just chord as they sing.
09:37 He does all the fields and everything and sings
09:40 and then does some new arrangements.
09:41 I heard some chords there, I hadn't heard before.
09:44 When you said, "We have no idea."
09:46 You literally mean all three of us have no idea
09:48 'cause I truly don't know.
09:50 But it came out beautiful though.
09:51 I'm as surprised as you are when it happens.
09:53 You know, that's such a gift.
09:55 I do that on the guitar and it's a wreck though,
09:57 like this is like a train wreck.
09:59 I don't know how he does that but absolutely beautiful.
10:02 It's great time of year, let's talk a little bit
10:04 about the season growing up.
10:06 We all have our memories of our families.
10:08 And, Yvonne, why don't we start with you,
10:09 tell us a little bit about Christmas
10:11 around your home?
10:13 Yes.
10:14 Well, this time of the year was always special
10:16 because at church,
10:19 my grandmother was the conductor
10:22 of the New Believer's choir
10:24 and she would do the Messiah every single year.
10:28 And she would...
10:29 She would call me like later as after I grew up,
10:32 she would call me like, asked me a year in advance,
10:35 so you can't say no because, you know,
10:37 you're not booked at that time...
10:38 You don't say no to your grandmother anyway.
10:40 I know, well, that's true, too.
10:41 But I mean, I wasn't booked and so, you know,
10:43 she would always get me.
10:45 But I would love the music like,
10:48 even as Tim was just singing
10:50 Hark! The herald angels sing, there's just something so...
10:56 You can just feel the presence of God
10:58 in this music because it's proclaiming the advent
11:04 of the Savior of the world.
11:06 And so my parents
11:08 and my little sister and I mean,
11:10 it was just a very special time for us
11:13 and my mother would take us out.
11:16 My dad will be working somewhere,
11:18 my mother and my aunt Carmel
11:19 would take us to get a Christmas tree.
11:22 And we would have a tree and it was just,
11:25 it was just really special.
11:27 And they would kind of wait till
11:28 the last minute to get one.
11:29 And so we had that fun.
11:31 They were just, it was just a very fun time of the year
11:35 and very special, and it's a time
11:38 for family to get together.
11:40 But I think that there are a lot of people
11:43 who don't have anyone during the season
11:45 and that can be very lonely.
11:48 And so to you, we say that you're not alone.
11:51 You have your 3ABN family can tune in anytime
11:54 and we're right here.
11:56 And also you have Jesus
11:58 who will never leave you nor forsake you.
12:01 So what a beautiful, beautiful gift
12:04 that He is to the world and He continues to be.
12:08 Amen. All right, thank you so much.
12:11 Well, Mr. Tim, what about you?
12:12 I know you came from a musical family.
12:14 Yeah. Yeah.
12:17 I don't remember really much
12:19 as far as the music part of Christmas.
12:22 My mother and I've shared this story so many times.
12:26 But my mom was a seamstress.
12:30 And so that was...
12:33 She sewed so many of our...
12:36 She would be making clothes through the year.
12:39 And then she would have a big box of clothes.
12:42 I remember every year at Christmas,
12:46 there'd be a big box by the tree
12:47 and that was our clothes for the year that she had made.
12:50 And I also remember that she had a little tag that said,
12:54 made with love by mom.
12:56 She would put in my shirt,
12:59 so we know that was really special
13:01 for like, you know, through third or fourth grade.
13:05 But then whenever it became less popular
13:09 to be wearing your those homemade clothes,
13:13 which they were nice but anyway the other kids
13:16 were wearing cool jeans and so I remember that year
13:20 whenever I asked mom for those Levi's
13:23 and just the emptiness that I felt
13:26 when I came around the corner and saw there was no box,
13:28 but just a little package there.
13:30 Not that it was the size of the package,
13:32 but it was just the fact that I knew...
13:36 I kind of messed up on that situation
13:38 'cause there she put a lot of love
13:41 into those clothes
13:42 but, you know, my mom had a wonderful way
13:46 of making the atmosphere.
13:47 She was a great hostess.
13:49 She truly had the gift of hospitality.
13:52 And so in the things
13:57 that she would do...
13:59 Now I look back on it and I realized I don't,
14:02 I don't have that.
14:04 For my two sons who are older now
14:06 even when they were younger I struggled with
14:09 trying to make Christmas just as the atmosphere of it
14:14 in our home but when we had Christ
14:16 was truly the center and the focus of it,
14:18 but just a little touches.
14:20 And now as, my goodness,
14:23 working here this year has been so busy.
14:26 I mean, it just seems like it was just a couple months
14:30 and we were doing this, you know,
14:32 gathered around the piano and talking about Christmas.
14:37 But I have really had to focus in on Christmas this year
14:42 being about the story that never grows old
14:47 because without Christ I truly have nothing,
14:51 even my gifts.
14:52 I don't know how to play the piano without Christ.
14:54 And I know people, people who don't understand that
14:58 you don't get it but I practice a lot,
15:01 you know, but I...
15:03 It's not just the playing, anybody can sit down and play.
15:08 I want the Spirit of the Lord to flow through me
15:11 when I play.
15:12 And so I just,
15:16 so I truly pray that this Christmas...
15:21 I pray for you if you are having
15:22 the same kind of hard time to get in the mood.
15:28 Remember, the story that never grows old
15:32 is the story of Christ coming to earth.
15:36 Putting on flesh, becoming like you and me
15:39 to bring the greatest story ever told.
15:44 Year after year as we celebrate
15:49 The season Sometimes I lose the joy
15:55 Or I forget the reason why
16:01 But holding the foundation
16:05 Of our earthly celebration
16:10 Is the story of a King
16:14 Who came to die
16:20 It still warms my heart
16:24 To know that Christ
16:26 Would leave His glory
16:29 To be called the greatest story
16:34 Ever told
16:39 And the angels still sing of the joy
16:46 Salvation Brings is a story
16:52 That never grows old
17:03 When I look back
17:06 On my memories of Christmas
17:11 So many past traditions
17:15 That I use to know have gone
17:21 But the story of a Savior
17:25 Is as real today as ever
17:29 And throughout eternity
17:33 It shall live on
17:39 It still warms my heart
17:42 To know that Christ would leave His glory
17:48 To be called the greatest story
17:52 Ever told
17:56 And the angels still sing of the joy
18:03 Salvation brings it's the story
18:08 That never grows old
18:14 And the angels
18:17 Still sing of the joy
18:22 Salvation brings
18:28 It's a story
18:33 That never grows old
18:50 True is. Beautiful.
18:52 Amen. Beautiful, beautiful.
18:54 Who wrote that song? Do you know?
18:56 I don't know who wrote that...
18:57 Really seem like something Tim might or...
18:59 Yeah.
19:00 Tim and Aaron Wilburn could have written that.
19:01 Right. It's a beautiful song.
19:03 We would have written it if we thought of it but...
19:04 You have another one for us?
19:06 Yeah, you know, another thought that
19:07 I had been thinking of is,
19:11 I'm so thrilled again is that meant that song
19:13 talked about that Christ came to earth.
19:16 And I can't imagine what it would be like
19:24 to not have a Savior, who, you know,
19:27 the Bible talks about that He is moved without
19:31 what moves us, you know, we have a High Priest,
19:35 that can be...
19:37 He understands us.
19:39 And that means a lot to me to know that
19:43 I'm not just serving a stone statue.
19:49 But when Christ was born, it is as if hope became real.
19:56 Hope, it actually took on flesh
19:58 and this is a great little song that says Hope Has Hands
20:03 and listen to all the different...
20:07 Just the words are great that...
20:09 I do know, Phil Cross wrote this song.
20:11 And this is a great song.
20:14 In search of a child They travel so far
20:20 Led by a star to a place of joy
20:26 Now the wise men tell A beautiful story
20:33 Describing the glory Of a baby boy
20:40 This is what they would say.
20:42 Now hope has hands Freedom has feet
20:50 Truth will stand
20:53 And the Word will speak
20:57 The holy and lowly Will finally embrace
21:05 For love has a heartbeat
21:12 And grace
21:14 Has a face
21:20 Listen to this.
21:22 Compassion has a tear Joy has a laughter
21:30 And here ever after peace has a smile
21:37 Redemption's blood Has veins to flow in
21:43 A temple to grow in
21:47 The Light is a child
21:52 Hope has hands Freedom has feet
21:58 Truth will stand The Word will speak
22:05 The holy and lowly Will finally embrace
22:13 For love has a heartbeat
22:20 And grace has a face
22:35 The holy and lowly Will finally embrace
22:43 For love has a heartbeat
22:52 Love has a heartbeat
22:55 And grace has a face
23:09 John said, "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us."
23:12 Amen. Beautiful.
23:14 Love has a heartbeat. Yeah.
23:16 Because God is love. That's right.
23:18 He has a heartbeat.
23:20 It takes an eternity to describe God
23:24 and His love for fallen man and the sacrifice that He made.
23:27 And what a different way the author put this in here,
23:31 you know, love has a face or grace has a face,
23:35 I mean, that's amazing. And love has a heartbeat.
23:38 I love that second verse is compassion has a tear.
23:41 Yes, yes. You know, that's just good.
23:44 Isn't that beautiful, beautiful song?
23:48 When I was a kid, we were...
23:50 My father was disabled when I was really young.
23:52 They used to be my mother
23:53 and dad spent a number of years,
23:55 mostly my dad playing country music and, you know,
23:58 bars, taverns, or whatever.
24:00 And my mother became
24:02 a Seventh-day Adventist Christian in 1951
24:05 after the Lord healed her polio.
24:07 And so my dad didn't join the church
24:10 for several more years 'cause he said, "Well,
24:12 I got to make a living."
24:14 He was, you know, a truck driver
24:16 and then in weekends he would do the...
24:18 And they had a radio program I think for about five years,
24:20 I think, right, was Frankfort,
24:22 this area Southern Illinois doing country music,
24:24 had Bernie Smith on the guitar,
24:26 Jack Medes on the bass,
24:27 my uncle Charlie on played steel guitar,
24:31 and my mother, she played some,
24:33 but she didn't play in the taverns too long.
24:35 She always wonder she's resting in Jesus.
24:38 Now, Tim, she always wanted me to say now remember,
24:40 I only spent a few months out there.
24:42 I didn't do that, you know, and as a mom,
24:45 you weren't a Christian at the time, so and she...
24:47 Yeah, but I didn't...
24:48 You know, I knew better than that.
24:50 I really was trying to get your dad to quit.
24:51 So I thought, well, if I go out there and play,
24:53 he will quit.
24:54 But he spent a few more years.
24:56 So he had a heart attack.
24:57 I think I was maybe 10 years old.
25:00 And he was totally disabled
25:02 and couldn't really work anymore and hold a job.
25:05 And so, when it came Christmas time
25:07 as far as presents goes, it was really slim pickings.
25:11 And so we didn't really plan on getting that much
25:14 for Christmas.
25:16 And I can remember just getting little things but,
25:18 you know, I never felt anything badly about it.
25:21 I knew our situation.
25:22 We were happy one time
25:23 we'd like to get a little pocket knife.
25:25 Hey, that's a pocket knife.
25:26 You didn't have something that you had
25:28 and then when we got older in high school,
25:30 I've always told the story in high school they said,
25:32 "Well, there's five kids and mom, dad,
25:34 let's just draw names and you pick somebody's name
25:37 and buy them one present."
25:39 And so Kenny and I, he's three years older than me.
25:42 He's senior, and I think I was freshman and four years,
25:45 maybe older man,
25:46 so we picked each other's names.
25:49 So guess what we did?
25:50 We didn't wanna buy each other present.
25:52 So we just said, "Okay, we shake hands."
25:53 And that's Christmas.
25:57 Really the atmosphere though.
26:00 Christmas time my folks love music.
26:02 And as I said, my mom and dad,
26:04 and we would sing Christmas songs
26:06 around the piano.
26:07 And at church, I remember that.
26:09 And then a very special part of Christmas was
26:12 what we probably you'd have to be
26:14 an Adventist Church or raised in church
26:16 to understand this term in gathering.
26:18 Any of you old enough to remember that,
26:20 I'm not even sure if they do it anymore.
26:22 But for everybody else, maybe Christmas caroling,
26:25 but we used to go to West Frankfort.
26:27 My dad would have a car with a tape recorder
26:30 and little megaphone on top and he played
26:33 the King's Herald quartet singing Christmas songs
26:36 and Uncle Olan might be over in Benton with his kids.
26:39 And then Elmer, his cousin Elmer Filkins
26:43 and Santian and their kids,
26:45 they would be maybe over in Johnson City,
26:49 and somebody in Ziegler.
26:50 So we'd go to all the neighborhoods,
26:51 and we would raise funds and so we go to the house
26:54 and say we're raising funds
26:56 for those less fortunate than ourselves
26:58 and so every year people look forward to our church.
27:02 And our church members being out
27:04 and they'd have the money ready.
27:05 Lot of those folk would say, I wondered
27:07 when you were a few days late,
27:09 I wondered when you were gonna come by,
27:11 and I still remember.
27:13 And then my dad, my mother, and Uncle Olan and Mildred,
27:17 and some of the other relatives,
27:18 they would take a guitar.
27:20 And, so he would just go from door to door
27:23 and then stand outside the houses
27:24 and then people would come out
27:26 and then literally Christmas carol.
27:29 And, you know, it's not always that
27:31 we don't get terrible weather but it can be cold
27:33 around Christmas and sometimes get snow and ice
27:36 and what have you but when the weather was there,
27:38 they were out there door to door.
27:39 So those are memories in as family.
27:42 I remember, when my dad he used to sing
27:44 and maybe Tim if you'll give me like
27:47 F or something.
27:48 And maybe we'll do a Silent Night.
27:52 Silent night,
27:56 Holy night!
28:01 All is calm,
28:06 All is bright
28:11 Round yon Virgin
28:15 Mother and Child
28:19 Holy Infant
28:23 So tender and mild
28:28 Sleep in heavenly peace
28:38 Sleep in heavenly
28:44 Peace though
28:48 Brings back Too many memories of that.
28:53 Silent night,
28:57 Holy night!
29:01 Shepherds quake
29:06 At the sight Glories stream
29:13 From heaven afar
29:18 Heavenly hosts
29:22 Sing Alleluia!
29:27 Christ the Savior
29:32 Is born
29:37 Christ the Savior
29:42 Is born
29:46 I think there's one more verse.
29:52 Silent night,
29:56 holy night!
30:00 Son of God,
30:04 Love's pure light
30:08 Radiant beams
30:12 From Thy holy face
30:17 With the dawn of
30:20 Redeeming grace
30:25 Jesus Lord, at Thy birth
30:35 Jesus Lord, at Thy birth
30:54 Amen. Beautiful?
30:55 It's beautiful. Beautiful old song, isn't it?
30:58 Yeah. Yes.
31:00 Yeah, that kind of chokes you up,
31:01 you think about, you know,
31:02 your loved ones that are now resting in the Lord
31:06 and we think of the hope,
31:07 Tim, you sang about the hope of eternity,
31:10 the hope of salvation, the hope of a new world.
31:12 No more sickness, no more pain, now more sorrow.
31:14 Yes, yes. Thank you.
31:16 No more. No more death. Yes.
31:18 I'm gonna ask you to do something,
31:20 you've never done this song.
31:21 And you've never done it all the way through.
31:24 And this wouldn't be nice,
31:25 but they're gonna have a teleprompter
31:27 with the words on it.
31:29 It's a song that I sat and wrote,
31:31 but Tim Parton actually helped me
31:32 I had to tune and I remember, Joy is Born.
31:36 And you remember that song?
31:38 You probably don't remember...
31:39 How long it was that? Well, about 10 years or so.
31:43 You see this gray hair.
31:45 I asked him to kind of just help me
31:47 with the chords and stuff but he ended up writing
31:49 much prettier than me.
31:51 So I might have put your name on that Tim.
31:52 Unless you don't like it, but if you like it,
31:54 and it's okay...
31:55 Although it depends how I play it now.
31:57 We'll put your name on it but it's a song.
31:59 I love how he got me
32:00 to sing the song that he wrote...
32:01 Well, I sang with the kids a number of years ago
32:04 but she made the mistake of saying
32:06 that's a beautiful song.
32:07 That's not just a children's song.
32:09 I'd be happy to sing that.
32:11 So I know you haven't even practiced it
32:13 all the way through done anything
32:15 and it's been years but if, Tim if you know what,
32:16 maybe sing this one...
32:18 This is spontaneity.
32:19 And it reminded me of it
32:21 because we said joy was born,
32:24 that when Christ...
32:25 When Jesus was born, joy was born.
32:26 Yes. Yes.
32:38 In a little town Called Bethlehem
32:43 Early in the morning
32:48 In a stable just behind the inn
32:54 Joy was born
32:59 Joy was born Joy was born
33:05 On that first Christmas morning
33:10 Joy was born Joy was born
33:15 As the Savior of the world
33:21 The King of kings From heaven above
33:27 Came to set us free
33:32 He died that We might live with Him
33:38 For eternity
33:43 Joy was born Joy was born
33:49 On that first Christmas morning
33:55 Joy was born Joy was born
34:00 As the Savior of the world
34:07 The package was small But the gift was so great
34:12 It was a baby boy That we now celebrate
34:17 He created the world By a spoken command
34:23 Now He holds the world's In the palm of His hand
34:27 Think about that.
34:38 Joy was born Joy was born
34:43 On that first Christmas morning
34:49 Joy was born Joy was born
34:54 As the Savior of the world
35:03 As the Savior of the world
35:17 Thank you. Very well done.
35:19 Praise the Lord. Thank you, Lord.
35:20 That's what we pray for us.
35:22 I had forgotten about the little...
35:24 Bridge, right?
35:25 On there the package was small but the gift was so great.
35:28 It was a baby boy that we now celebrate.
35:31 He created the worlds with a spoken command
35:34 and now He holds those worlds in the palm of His hand.
35:38 Beautiful. Isn't that great?
35:39 Can you see, you know,
35:40 I love looking at a little baby's hand.
35:42 Yeah. Yes!
35:43 And you know, when you're looking at Jesus
35:46 in there in the manger to know those little hands
35:49 holding the world.
35:51 Absolutely. Absolutely.
35:53 So I'm sorry to throw that on you
35:54 but you did a great job by the way.
35:56 Oh, I was so glad you came in at the bridge.
35:58 Well, I do. You saved the day.
36:00 I'm not sure I've got, I may have changed
36:01 the tune up a little bit,
36:03 but I just remembered she didn't know it.
36:05 That's good.
36:06 Anyways, it's just a little song
36:08 I did working with the kids and Yvonne said oh, you know,
36:10 and what you said while ago reminded me of that
36:14 joy was born that first Christmas morning.
36:16 Yes. Amen. Yeah.
36:19 You try the King. Sure.
36:22 A King has come. A King has come.
36:24 Man, I need to stand up for this one.
36:25 Sure.
36:47 No royal robes
36:52 adorned the infant
36:56 No crown upon
36:59 His sacred head
37:03 Yet shepherds bow down
37:08 And wise men worship
37:12 Beside
37:13 His holy manger bed
37:20 A King has come
37:23 To dwell among us
37:27 A King has come to set us free
37:35 He left His throne And laid aside His glory
37:41 To be love's greatest story
37:46 How can it be God's only Son
37:56 The King has come
38:11 Emmanuel has come to save us
38:18 The Promised One will rule And reign
38:25 A host of heaven announced His entrance
38:32 Now with the angels'
38:36 Reproclaim
38:40 A King has come
38:44 To dwell among us
38:47 A King has come to set us free
38:54 He left His throne
38:57 And laid aside His glory
39:00 To be love's greatest story
39:04 How can it be
39:08 God's only Son
39:14 The King has come
39:19 He shall reign forever
39:26 He shall reign forever
39:32 He shall reign forever
39:39 And ever more
39:46 He shall reign forever
39:52 He shall reign forever
39:59 He shall reign forever
40:05 And ever more
40:12 The King has come
40:16 To dwell among us
40:20 A King has come to set us free
40:26 He left His throne And laid aside His glory
40:33 To be love's greatest story
40:37 How can it be
40:40 God's only Son
40:47 God's only Son
40:54 The King has come
41:09 Amen.
41:10 Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
41:11 Beautiful. Where did that song come from?
41:14 I haven't heard that one. Tim sent me that song.
41:17 I don't know where did you get that song from, Timmy?
41:20 I don't know where that came from either.
41:21 I don't know where he hear
41:24 those songs come from all over like it...
41:25 I just knew when I heard it.
41:27 You know what I love about being a part of a family
41:30 is that you know each other so well,
41:33 that when you hear something like a song,
41:35 while you think that's Yvonne, that's got Yvonne all over it.
41:39 And God was all over that.
41:41 Amen. Praise the Lord.
41:43 Praise the Lord. Absolutely now.
41:44 A King has come. I know.
41:46 That's what this whole thing is about.
41:47 Isn't that incredible?
41:48 And when you think about what He gave up to come here,
41:52 I mean He, you know,
41:53 it starts out with no royal robes.
41:56 He had no royal robes when He came here.
41:58 Stripped up, right? Yes, I mean, He just...
42:00 He laid them aside.
42:02 He emptied Himself and came here
42:04 and lived as a man among us,
42:07 so that He could know everything
42:10 and experience the things that we go through.
42:13 He was tempted in all points as we are yet without sin.
42:19 So we can go to Him and know that
42:21 He's experienced everything.
42:24 And we can trust Him to bring us through everything.
42:28 Absolutely.
42:30 I feel like we getting into, we've a church.
42:31 We're having church, right?
42:32 All right, understood.
42:34 Well, you know what, we are having such great time.
42:37 Tim has been playing, but I hadn't really heard him.
42:39 I mean, what would it be a program without him
42:42 just turning all those fingers
42:44 and two thumbs loose on the piano,
42:46 and then he can surprise himself.
42:48 Right.
42:49 You know what's been on my heart...
42:51 Wasn't it...
42:54 I know he's a good friend of ours
42:56 and we sing a lot of his music, but...
42:58 Lanny Wolfe or somebody. Yeah, right.
43:00 Didn't he write cherish that beautiful name?
43:01 Yeah, he did. Cherish that name.
43:03 I just wanna play a kind of little Jesus medley.
43:05 I got some of songs I have no clue
43:07 but we'll just make this happen.
44:07 Can we do that again?
44:10 Cherish that beautiful name
44:17 Cherish that wonderful name
44:24 Cherish that matchless name
44:31 That name is Jesus
45:51 I can't help it, Yvonne.
45:53 Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
46:01 There's just something
46:04 About that name
46:11 Master, Savior,
46:15 Jesus Like the fragrance
46:22 After the rain
46:28 Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
46:36 Let all heaven and earth
46:41 Proclaim
46:46 Kings and kingdoms
46:50 will all pass away
46:55 But there's something about that name
47:02 Just one more if you don't mind?
47:04 Oh, keep going.
48:44 His name is wonderful
48:49 His name is wonderful
48:54 His name is wonderful
48:59 Jesus my Lord
49:05 He is the mighty King
49:09 He's Master of everything
49:14 His name is wonderful
49:19 Jesus my Lord
49:24 He's the Great Shepherd
49:28 The Rock of all ages
49:33 Almighty God
49:37 Is He
49:43 Bow down before Him
49:50 Love and adore Him
49:55 His name is wonderful
50:00 It's Jesus my Lord
50:11 It's beautiful. Praise the Lord.
50:13 Beautiful. Praise the Lord.
50:15 What an anointing.
50:16 Yeah, I just feel the presence of God here,
50:19 such a wonderful feeling to know that He is here.
50:24 He's in our midst.
50:26 Yeah.
50:27 Do you wanna sing that?
50:30 He is here, Hallelujah!
50:37 He is here, Amen!
50:44 He is here, Holy, Holy
50:51 I will bless His name again
50:58 He is here, listen closely
51:05 Hear Him calling out your name
51:11 He is here,
51:15 you can touch Him
51:19 You will never be the same
51:28 This is just a praise and worship time.
51:30 Right. Isn't it? Yes, yes.
51:32 You know how many mothers during that nine months
51:38 of waiting for a child to come?
51:41 And I can just imagine Mary singing this song.
51:45 Yes. He is here finally, right?
51:48 Right. How many...
51:49 Oh, wow... That's good.
51:53 Yes. Yes. Absolutely, beautiful.
51:55 I'm thinking about the folks at home
51:57 and right now maybe you're watching
52:00 and it could be from a hospital bed,
52:02 you may be watching, you're incarcerated,
52:06 you may be somewhere totally by yourself.
52:08 We want you to know that
52:10 Jesus loves you, He died for you,
52:12 He made a plan of salvation for you,
52:13 and He's coming back for you
52:15 very soon in clouds of glory.
52:16 Today is not the day to give up.
52:19 Today is the day to look up.
52:22 And this is a reminder, this season
52:25 that Jesus gave His life for you and me.
52:29 He was willing to come down to this earth,
52:31 born in a manger in swaddling clothes
52:34 is amazing that He would do that
52:38 and give His life for you and me.
52:42 Thirty-three years on this earth dedicated
52:44 to His father's business.
52:45 Remember, when He went to the temple
52:47 and His folks looking for Him?
52:48 He said, they said, "Where have You been?"
52:50 You know, He says, "Hey,
52:52 I've been about my Father's business."
52:54 He knew even then and today it's my open prayer that
52:57 each one of us know that we're here for a reason
53:00 for such an hour as this.
53:02 And that's it we should be about our Father's business.
53:05 And what's our Father's business?
53:07 It's telling all those that we come in contact
53:10 with about the great plan of salvation,
53:13 about Jesus and His love for fallen men.
53:16 And that yet though we're all sinners,
53:20 no one has lived on this earth...
53:22 Jesus never sinned, though we're all sinners
53:26 we're saved by grace.
53:27 He says, "If you confess your sins,
53:30 the Bible says, He is faithful
53:31 and just to forgive us from our sins,
53:34 and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
53:38 I mean, what a wonderful Savior that we have.
53:43 Jesus, my Lord.
53:58 Beautiful.
53:59 Wow, I can't believe we only have
54:00 just a few minutes left, can you?
54:03 And is there any other song you want to do?
54:05 Or is there something she was supposed to do
54:07 or could do or something?
54:09 We could do something together since we're ending.
54:11 Something happy... Tim surprises.
54:12 Up and happy, Tim. Okay.
54:14 We've always got a list of options here, but let's see.
54:18 Let's do, O Come, All Ye Faithful.
54:20 Oh, that's good. Who's going to do the melody?
54:22 Oh, you do it. I think you can pull this one.
54:24 Okay. All right.
54:30 O come, all ye faithful
54:35 Joyful and triumphant
54:38 O come ye, O come ye,
54:42 to Bethlehem
54:47 Come and behold Him
54:51 Born the King of Angels!
54:55 O come, let us adore Him
54:59 O come, let us adore Him
55:03 O come, let us adore Him
55:08 Christ the Lord!
55:14 Sing, choirs of angels,
55:18 sing in exaltation
55:22 Sing, all ye citizens
55:26 of heaven above!
55:31 Glory to God
55:35 Glory in the highest
55:39 O come, let us adore Him
55:43 O come, let us adore Him
55:47 O come, let us adore Him
55:51 Christ the Lord!
56:10 Yea, Lord, we greet Thee
56:14 Born this happy morning
56:18 Jesus
56:20 To Thee be glory given
56:27 Son of the Father
56:31 Now in flesh appearing
56:35 O come, let us adore Him
56:39 O come, let us adore Him
56:43 O come, let us adore Him
56:48 Christ the Lord!
57:09 Amen.
57:10 Isn't that fun just to set around,
57:11 I mean, with Tim Parton you can just set around Yvonne
57:14 and do a program and enjoy it not even know
57:16 what we're gonna be doing.
57:17 Praise the Lord for that. Thank you so much.
57:19 We wanna thank you at home for your love
57:21 and your prayers and financial support
57:23 of Three Angels Broadcasting Network
57:25 as we endeavor to take this great gospel
57:27 of the kingdom into all the world.
57:29 We know that Jesus is coming very soon.
57:31 It's our hope and prayer that each and every one of us
57:34 today that you won't turn off the television set
57:36 when this program is over us included
57:39 until we've made a new commitment to Jesus
57:41 and ask Him to come into our heart,
57:43 into our mind, and to be Lord of our life.
57:47 Then, then it says, "Go and tell what He's done."
57:50 Yeah.
57:51 So we wanna become part of the Go Ye movement, right?
57:53 "Go ye into all the world." Yeah.
57:55 Our time is all gone for today.
57:57 Until we see you next time,
57:59 may the Lord richly bless you abundantly
58:00 more than you could ever ask or think.
