just a few moments. 01:31 We're gonna be uplifting Jesus this entire hour. 01:35 On that note, 01:36 my first song is all about Jesus. 01:39 All these songs are about Jesus because He is worthy, 01:41 as the Bible says, to be worshipped. 01:44 And at this particular moment, 01:45 I would like to sing a song 01:47 that actually is usually considered to be 01:49 a Christmas song, 01:50 but I think it's an any time of the year song 01:53 because it basically talks about 01:56 a situation in which if someone could interview 01:59 the Mother of Jesus, 02:01 they would ask her a series of questions. 02:03 Mary, did you know 02:04 who you were really giving birth to? 02:06 This is one of my favorite songs, 02:08 Mary, Did You Know? 02:33 Mary did you know 02:37 That your baby boy 02:40 perfect lamb? 05:04 That sleeping child You're holding 05:10 Is the great I am 05:30 Amen. 05:32 Yes. 05:34 Praise you, Lord. 05:35 We serve such a mighty God, 05:39 a gracious God. 05:41 There are so many amazing biblical examples 05:45 that show us and teach us 05:46 of God's goodness and God's grace. 05:48 One of my favorite stories in all the Bible 05:51 is the woman that was caught in adultery. 05:54 And we know that to probably be most likely Mary Magdalene 05:58 and as we know very clearly, 06:00 she was brought to the feet of Jesus. 06:03 And while everyone else was judging her, 06:05 Jesus forgave her sin and told her, 06:08 "Go and sin no more." 06:09 This woman would go on 06:11 and she would never forget that moment 06:13 because that event would lead her back 06:15 at the feet of Jesus. 06:18 As Jesus was invited to this particular house, 06:22 to a Pharisees home, for a special visit, 06:25 Mary shows up 06:28 and no words were spoken. 06:29 She just simply kneels at the feet of Jesus, 06:32 and all of the emotions and all the tears come forward. 06:36 And her tears begin to drop upon the dirty feet of Jesus. 06:39 And she begins to wash his feet with her tears 06:43 and dry his feet with her hair, 06:46 and then she takes a little flask of oil, 06:49 and she pours out all that she has 06:51 all her worship everything she has 06:53 is in that one little flask, 06:56 and she gives that worship to Jesus 06:58 because He is worthy. 06:59 And I love this next song, it's entitled Alabaster Box. 07:03 And I can relate to it, you can relate to it, 07:05 that we all have a special worship 07:07 that we can give to Jesus 07:09 that no one else can possibly understand. 07:34 The room grew still 07:38 As she made her way to Jesus 07:41 She stumbles through the tears 07:44 That made her blind 07:48 She felt such pain 07:52 Some spoke in anger 07:55 Heard folks whisper 07:57 There's no place here For her kind 08:02 Still on she came 08:05 Through the shame That flushed her face 08:09 Until at last 08:11 She knelt before his feet 08:16 And though she spoke no words 08:19 Everything she said was heard 08:23 As she poured her love For the Master 08:27 From her box of alabaster 08:32 I've come to pour 08:36 My praise on Him 08:39 Like oil 08:41 From Mary's alabaster box 08:47 Don't be angry 08:49 If I wash his feet With my tears 08:54 And I dry them 08:56 With my hair 09:01 You weren't there The night He found me 09:08 No you did not feel 09:10 What I felt 09:12 When He wrapped his love All around me 09:16 And You don't know the cost Of the oil 09:22 In my alabaster box 09:31 I can't forget The way life used to be 09:37 I was a prisoner 09:39 To the sin that had me bound 09:45 You see I spent my days 09:48 Pouring my life without measure 09:51 Into this little treasure box 09:54 I'd thought I'd found 09:59 Until the day When Jesus came to me 10:05 And healed my soul 10:07 With the wonder of His touch 10:12 So now I'm giving back to Him 10:15 All the praise He's worthy of I've been forgiven 10:21 And that's why I love Him so much 10:28 I've come to pour My praise on Him 10:35 Like oil 10:38 From Mary's alabaster box 10:45 Please don't be angry 10:47 If I wash His feet With my tears 10:51 And I dry them with my hair 10:57 My hair 10:59 You weren't there 11:03 The night Jesus found me 11:07 No you did not feel 11:09 What I felt 11:11 When He wrapped his love arm Around me 11:15 And you don't know the cost Of the oil 11:22 Oh, you don't know 11:25 The cost of my praise 11:29 My praise 11:31 You don't know the cost Of the oil 11:36 In my alabaster box. 11:53 Yes. 11:55 We all have an alabaster box of some kind 11:59 and Jesus is worthy of the worship 12:02 that we can give to Him. 12:04 You know, all of us struggle, 12:06 the Bible says we're gonna go through trials 12:08 and, you know, the Book of James even tells us 12:10 that we should be thankful and joyful for those trials 12:13 because it builds faith. 12:16 And I know sometimes it seems like 12:17 we're climbing that Mount Everest 12:19 and seems like 12:20 we're never gonna get to the top 12:22 and conquer that mountain in our life, 12:23 whatever that case may be. 12:26 But this next song I'm gonna sing 12:28 is such a powerful song 12:30 because it talks about 12:32 how we may face mountains today, 12:36 but one day soon if we stay faithful, 12:38 Christ is gonna rise us up. 12:42 And we're gonna mount on wings like eagles 12:44 and He's gonna help us to see these trials 12:47 and this life from heaven's point of view. 12:49 And what once seemed like a mountain is just a hill 12:53 From Heaven's Point Of View. 13:10 Today I faced a mountain 13:14 That I have no strength to climb 13:22 And the struggle Of this journeys 13:26 Left me weak 13:28 Both in body and in mind 13:36 Where I stand to the peak 13:39 Is a distance On my own I cannot reach 13:48 So this journey Of a thousand steps begins 13:54 Right here on my knees 13:59 Soon I'll soar like an eagle 14:06 High on wings of grace 14:13 Far into the heavens 14:19 Where I can almost see 14:21 God's face 14:26 Rising in His splendor 14:32 To heights I never knew 14:41 What once looked Like a mountain 14:44 Is just a hill From heaven's point of view 14:54 I may face things tomorrow 14:58 I can't comprehend today 15:06 Circumstances so uncertain Make it hard 15:11 To find the strength to pray 15:19 But I'm living in the promise I'll never leave you 15:24 I'll always see you through 15:31 So what's this mountain 15:34 To an eagle flying high 15:38 From Let them soak into your spirit. 38:06 You're probably very familiar with them. 38:07 It says, "I will bless the Lord at all times. 38:12 His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 38:39 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord. 38:45 The humble shall hear of it and be glad. 39:12 O magnify the Lord with me, 39:15 and let us exalt His name together. 39:28 I sought the Lord, and He heard me, 39:33 and He delivered me from all my fears. 39:38 They looked to Him 39:40 and were radiant, 39:43 and their faces were not ashamed. 39:57 This poor man cried out, 39:59 and the Lord heard him, 40:01 and saved him out of all of his troubles. 40:06 The angel of the Lord encamps 40:10 all around those who fear Him, 40:14 and He delivers them. 40:33 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. 40:38 Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! 40:43 Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! 40:58 There is no want to those who fear Him. 41:05 The young lions lack and suffer hunger, 41:10 but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing." 41:45 Almighty God and King 41:48 Maker of earth 41:52 Angels and saints proclaim 41:55 Your matchless worth 41:59 One cannot comprehend 42:02 Everything you are! 42:07 The greatest mystery 42:11 Your awesome love for me 42:21 For all my darkest paths, 42:25 You are the light 42:28 You go before each step 42:32 Fight every fight! 42:36 When trials overwhelm 42:39 And troubles flood my soul 42:43 You calm the storm in me 42:47 Peace for my raging sea 42:51 Amazing love 42:54 How can it be 42:58 That thou my God 43:02 Would die for me 43:19 For all you've given Lord 43:22 I stand amazed 43:26 Salvation covers me 43:29 And I'm forever changed! 43:33 In all I could not be 43:36 You met every need! 43:40 My sin my broken life 43:44 Your cross your sacrifice 43:47 My hopelessness my shame 43:51 Your faithfulness your grace 43:54 The greatest mystery 43:58 Your awesome love for me 44:07 My Jesus I love thee 44:14 I know thou art mine 44:20 For thee 44:23 All the follies 44:28 Of sin I resign 44:35 My gracious Redeemer 44:42 My Savior art thou 44:50 If ever I loved thee 44:58 My Jesus 'tis now 45:18 The greatest mystery 45:22 Your awesome love for me. 45:34 You know, when I think about His love for me 45:40 I can't help, 45:41 but wish that there was some way I could show Him 45:45 and some way I could just love Him more. 45:53 And I found in my walk with Christ, 45:56 the best way to love Him more 46:00 and to show that I'm even interested 46:01 in his cause 46:03 is to know Him more, 46:05 to know His Word, to pray, to fast, 46:09 to read the word and believe. 46:13 So that's when my heart cries. 46:19 Just the time I feel 46:23 That I've been caught 46:26 In the mire of self 46:31 Just the time I feel 46:34 My mind's been bought 46:38 By worldly wealth 46:43 That's when the breeze begins To blow 46:49 I know The Spirit's call 46:54 And all my worldly wanderings 47:00 Just melt into His love 47:08 Oh, I want to know You more! 47:13 Deep within my soul I want to know You 47:18 Oh, I want to know You 47:22 To feel Your heart And know Your mind 47:27 Looking in Your eyes Stirs up within me 47:32 Cries that says 47:34 I want to know You 47:40 Oh, I want to know You more 47:51 When my daily deeds 47:54 Ordinarily lose life and song 48:01 My heart begins to bleed 48:05 And sensitivity to Him 48:09 Is all gone 48:13 I've run my race 48:15 But I've set my own pace 48:18 And I face a shattered soul 48:24 Now the gentle arms of Jesus 48:29 They warm my hunger 48:32 To be whole 48:38 Oh, I want to know You more! 48:43 Deep within my soul 48:46 I want to know You 48:48 Oh, I want to know You 48:51 To feel Your heart And know Your mind 48:56 Looking in Your eyes Stirs up within me 49:01 Cries that says I want to know You 49:08 Oh, I want to know You more 49:12 And I would give My final breathe 49:17 To know You in Your death 49:20 And resurrection 49:23 Oh, I want to know You more 49:32 Oh, I want to know You more. 49:41 I wanna know the personal touch of Christ. 49:46 You know, most of the time, 49:48 it's hard for me to even understand that 49:52 God has a personality, 49:54 that He possesses attributes of feeling 49:57 and an emotion 49:58 just like me and you, 50:00 but much of the Bible is about His feelings. 50:04 Did you realize that? 50:06 When you read many times in the Old Testament, 50:09 we read of God's disappointment 50:11 when His people rejected or miss trusted Him. 50:18 But Hebrews 4:15 says, 50:22 "We do not have a High Priest 50:24 who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, 50:28 but he was in all points tempted as we are, 50:34 yet without sin." 50:37 And in James 2:23, 50:40 we read that "Abraham believed God, 50:43 and it was credited to him as righteousness 50:45 and he was called God's friend." 50:50 So you see, God is real. 50:53 And we can be His friend. 50:56 He can be our friend.
