00:02 with Barbara Neher and Susan Schnell 00:04 with It's My Very Own is the name of the ministry. 00:07 Tell the story you've just shared with me 00:09 about the little girl 00:10 who the caseworker took her there, 00:13 she was in her home of her new bedroom 00:16 at the foster care home, and what happened? 00:19 Well, as the caseworker was doing the final things 00:23 with the foster mom, the little girl came out, 00:26 and she says, "Miss. Pat, would you like to come in 00:30 and see my bedroom?" 00:31 She said, "Certainly." 00:33 So she went in there, 00:34 and she had taken everything out of the bag, 00:37 the bag was folded up neatly and put on the pillow 00:39 along with all of the things that were in the bag, 00:42 and the quilt was spread out onto her bed, 00:45 and she stepped back, and she says, 00:47 "Isn't this just beautiful?" 00:50 You know, this is so special. 00:51 But the Red Cross actually contacted you 00:56 after a really major fire 00:59 where 19 children were affected, 01:02 and they lost everything they had, 01:04 and what happened? 01:06 Well, this was on a Tuesday that they contacted us, 01:10 and they wanted to know 01:11 if they qualified for our program, 01:14 well, it took me all of two seconds to say yes. 01:18 And so we went to work. 01:20 Well, I did not have enough quilts and stuff. 01:23 And so I had everybody, 01:26 the community, and everything else 01:28 and by Saturday we delivered 19 bags, 01:31 plus 8 bags for the mothers. 01:34 Praise God. 01:35 Thank you so much for what you do 01:37 for the glory of God and for helping these children. 01:40 And we just pray that you will consider becoming involved 01:45 with this ministry in your own community. 01:49 May the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 01:51 the love of the Father, 01:52 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit 01:54 be with you always. |
