00:20 Hello and welcome back to Praise I'm Kelly Mowrer.
00:23 Thank you for joining with me today. In year 1860, there were
00:27 two sisters named Susan and Anna Warner and they lived on the
00:30 beautiful Hudson River in New York near the United States
00:34 Military Academy at West Point. Both sisters were highly
00:38 educated and also very devoted Christians. Every week they
00:42 would travel to West Point to hold worship services for the
00:45 cadets there. When they died they were buried with full
00:49 military honors in recognition of the spiritual contributions
00:53 they made to the young officers at West Point. In fact, they
00:56 also willed their house to West Point and today it is a national
01:01 shrine. But in 1860 the sisters wrote a book together. In their
01:06 story, which was a best seller, one of the characters recites
01:10 this poem to comfort a little boy who was dying.
01:13 Jesus loves me this I know, For the Bible tells me so.
01:19 Little ones to him belong. They are weak but he is strong.
01:24 Today we're going to meditate on the love of Jesus and the joy
01:29 of living for him always surrounded by his love.
01:41 Yes Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me,
01:54 Yes Jesus loves me For the Bible tells me so.

02:18 Jesus is the sweetest
02:22 name I know.
02:26 And he's just the same
02:31 as his holy name.
02:35 And that's the reason
02:40 why I love him so,
02:44 for Jesus, he is the sweetest name.
02:51 Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
02:57 there's just something
03:03 about that name.
03:11 Master, Savior, he's Jesus.
03:18 Like the fragrance
03:24 after the rain.
03:29 Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
03:36 Let all heaven
03:38 and earth proclaim.
03:44 Kings and kingdoms
03:49 will all pass away,
03:53 but there's something
03:57 about that name.

04:13 Falling in love with Jesus,
04:24 Falling in love with Jesus
04:36 is the best thing
04:40 I ever, ever done.
04:45 Oh I'm falling in love
04:49 with Jesus. Oh yes.
04:54 I've fallen in love with Jesus
05:02 Falling in love with Jesus
05:10 It is the best thing I've ever, ever done
05:17 Oh yes it is.
05:19 It is the best thing
05:23 I've ever, ever done.
05:27 Oh it is the best thing
05:34 I've ever, I've ever done.

05:55 The thing about truly falling in love with Jesus is that our
06:00 closeness keeps growing more precious to us. His Spirit
06:04 creates in us new hearts, hearts to know him, to hear his voice,
06:10 to see him working in our circumstances beautiful outcomes
06:14 for his glory. Nothing can separate us from his love.
06:19 No matter how lonely we feel or how hard things are,
06:23 our feelings are no measure of the reality of God's presence
06:27 with us always, his love bringing us safely through
06:32 the storms and his faithfulness to complete the work he's begun
06:36 in each of our hearts.

06:40 He who began a good work in you
06:52 will be faithful to complete it,
07:02 he'll be faithful to complete it

07:29 If the struggle you're facing is slowly replacing
07:34 your hope with despair.
07:38 All the process is long
07:42 and you're losing your song
07:45 in the night.
07:51 You can be sure that the Lord
07:54 has his hand on you
07:56 safe and secure.
07:58 He will never abandon you.
08:02 You are his treasure and
08:05 he finds his pleasure in you.
08:14 He who began a good work in you,
08:24 He who began a good work in you
08:31 will be faithful to complete it,

08:48 will be faithful to complete
08:51 it in you.

09:49 The work that God wants to complete in us is to make us
09:53 more and more like himself, to draw us into such a close
09:57 connection to him that we become one with him just as
10:01 Jesus and his Father lived in intimate connection with each
10:05 other. Do we make this one of our hearts' desires? Do we
10:10 really ask god to show us the areas where he wants to work
10:14 and change us to be more like him? How much time do we spend
10:19 reading his word and seeking his ways? Is the work that he does
10:23 in our hearts evident to the people around us? Do they see
10:27 Jesus in us? Does every relationship we have give
10:30 evidence who we belong to, who we live for, that his love has
10:35 changed our lives?
10:37 Do They See Jesus in Me Sandra Entermann
10:42 Is the face that I see in the mirror
10:47 one I want others to see?
10:54 Do I show in the way that I walk in my life
11:01 the love that you've given to me?
11:08 My heart's desire is to be like you
11:15 You know that I do, all I am.
11:24 Do they see Jesus in me?
11:30 Do they recognize your face?
11:38 Do I communicate your love
11:45 and your grace?
11:51 Do I reflect who you are
11:57 in the way I choose to be?
12:04 Do they see Jesus, Jesus in me?
12:17 ¤ ¤
12:27 It's amazing that you'd
12:30 ever use me.
12:35 But use me the way you will.
12:40 Help me to hold out
12:42 a heart of compassion and grace,
12:48 a heart that your Spirit fills.
12:53 May I show forgiveness and mercy
13:01 the same way you've shown it to me.
13:09 Do they see Jesus in me?
13:16 Do they recognize your face?
13:22 Do I communicate your love and your grace?
13:34 Do I reflect who you are in the way I choose to be?
13:45 Do they Jesus, Jesus in me?
14:00 Now I want to show all the world
14:04 that you are the reason I live and breathe.
14:13 So you'll be the one that they see when they see me.
14:24 Do they see Jesus in me?
14:31 Do they recognize your face?
14:37 Do I communicate your love and your grace?
14:46 Do I reflect who you are
14:55 in the way I choose to be?
15:05 Do they see Jesus, Jesus in me?

15:48 You are my sister, even when I do not know you.
16:00 You are my brother, even when I do not show you.
16:13 You're in my family, in Christ you're kin to me.
16:26 Now you are one with me.
16:35 Shall we learn to be friends?

16:49 You are my mother
16:55 when I fall and when I'm hurting
17:01 You are my father
17:07 please forgive me my deserting.
17:13 You're in my family, In Christ you're kin to me.
17:25 Now you are one with me. Shall we learn to be friends?
17:40 ¤ ¤
17:49 I need you near me when my hope is gone.
18:00 Come lift me up and help me carry on.
18:10 Then when you're weak you'll find me by your side
18:20 To comfort you and see you through.
18:34 You are my daughter, it matters not your race or nation.
18:46 You are my son, my own.
18:52 May we embrace in celebration. You are in my family
19:06 in Christ your kin to me. Now you are one with me.
19:21 Shall we learn to be friends?
19:46 For those of us who long to live more and more committed to Jesus
19:51 he gives us some clear and simple guidelines. When we want
19:55 to ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to the ways we can live
19:58 closer to him, live more for him, we can turn to his own
20:03 words for the standards that he has already set.
20:06 In John 13:34-35, Jesus says: A new commandment I give unto you
20:11 that ye love one another. As I have loved you that ye also
20:16 love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my
20:21 disciples if ye have love one to another. We have all been saved
20:28 by his grace, set free, and given a place at the table of
20:32 the marriage supper of the lamb, not because we deserved it, but
20:36 because he gave us something we could never have had any other
20:40 way. And he ways to each one of us, If you are really thankful
20:44 for this gift I have given you, if you really want to live for
20:48 me then you will treat others with the same generosity, the
20:52 same compassion, the same love that I have shown to you in
20:56 bringing you out of darkness into everlasting light. Listen
21:00 as my friend Rudy sings and make his song your prayer of
21:04 commitment to God.
21:09 I was lost in darkness never knowing where to turn.
21:16 I thought I had all the answers but I had so much to learn.
21:26 Like a child I had gone astray
21:31 trying to make it on my own.
21:37 Like a father you embraced me
21:42 and you showed
21:44 the way back home.
21:46 And now that I know the truth that you proclaim
21:53 I will keep trusting you to fill me up till only you remain.
22:05 And I will not rest
22:08 until my every word
22:11 brings glory to your name.
22:14 In all that I am,
22:16 In all that I do,
22:21 I live for you.
22:26 ¤ ¤
22:40 Only you could save me
22:44 from the debt I had to pay.
22:48 And now I want to tell the world
22:53 the difference you have made.
22:59 You have changed the way
23:01 I live and love.
23:03 And made my heart brand new
23:08 Now that we are joined together
23:12 I know I'm nothing without you.
23:17 Now that I know the truth that you proclaim,
23:24 I will keep trusting you to fill me up till only you remain.
23:36 And I will not rest until my every word
23:41 brings glory to your name.
23:45 In all that I am, In all that I do
23:50 I live for you.
23:55 Now that I know the truth that you proclaim
24:02 Lord I will keep trusting you
24:08 to fill me up
24:11 till only you remain.
24:14 And I will not rest
24:18 until my every word
24:21 brings glory to your name.
24:24 In all that I am, In all that I do
24:29 I live for you.
24:34 In all that I am, In all that I do
24:41 I live for you.
24:49 ¤ ¤
25:00 Here I am, I live for you.
25:17 As we once again have told God how much we love him and want
25:21 to live for him, let's close our time together by listening as
25:26 Klara and Eva play the prayer that Jesus taught us to
25:29 pray to our Father for to him is the kingdom, the power and the
25:33 glory forever.
