00:13 Happy Sabbath, everyone.
00:15 Welcome to Pioneer
00:17 on this bright and sunny and warm November day.
00:22 It is good to have you here worshiping with us.
00:26 And we thank the Lord that He has brought us safely
00:29 through another week, to this time of worship.
00:32 Thank you for keeping your masks on
00:35 and for remembering to observe physical distancing
00:39 for the safety of all of us.
00:42 Our call to worship today
00:43 comes from Psalm 118:19-21,
00:50 and it says, "Open for me the gates of the righteous,
00:56 I will enter in and give thanks to the Lord.
01:00 This is the gate of the Lord
01:03 through which the righteous may enter.
01:07 I will give you thanks, oh, Lord, for You answered me,
01:11 You have become my salvation."
01:15 Let us pray.
01:18 Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us today.
01:25 Break us, make us, melt us,
01:30 mold us, fill us full of yourself.
01:36 Breathe on us breath of God.
01:40 Fill us with life anew
01:44 that we may love the things You love
01:48 and do the things You do.
01:51 And so Prince of Peace, calm our fears,
01:54 still our hearts and teach us
01:57 how to worship you in spirit and in truth.
02:01 Amen.

09:26 Holy is the Lord God Almighty
09:33 The earth is filled With His glory
09:39 The earth is filled With His glory
09:46 The earth is filled With His glory
09:56 All right, good morning, church family.
09:57 I'm so excited that you guys are all here,
09:59 you guys can see take a seat.
10:01 As we go into our last song, it's called "Do it again."
10:05 And guys, it's just wonderful, guys,
10:06 because we still get to come together here at church.
10:09 Isn't that wonderful?
10:10 When we look around the world and we see all that's going on,
10:13 all the fighting, all the bickering,
10:14 all people going,
10:16 pushing each other left and right,
10:18 they're arguing, they're fighting,
10:19 the deaths, the sickness, everything in the world,
10:21 it looks like there's no hope.
10:23 And I know there's some mornings
10:25 I get up and I'm like, I don't want to go to class.
10:27 What's the point?
10:29 Everything's falling apart?
10:31 Why am I here?
10:33 I asked myself this question this Thursday,
10:35 I believe it was, this Thursday,
10:37 I asked myself, "What's the point?"
10:38 I mean, what's the point?
10:40 Everything's falling apart around us.
10:42 Nobody can get along.
10:44 Everybody's fighting, everybody's dying.
10:46 Everybody's getting sick.
10:47 The world is falling apart as I know it.
10:51 And then I thought,
10:53 it's not our job to make things better.
10:56 And oftentimes, people think
10:58 that just because they say or do something
10:59 that's going to make things better,
11:00 and they think that it's all in our power.
11:02 But what we forget is that God is the one
11:04 that controls everything.
11:07 And God is the one that that says what happens,
11:09 it's not up to us.
11:12 All that we can do
11:13 is accept Him and accept His will.
11:17 Because at the end of the day, guys,
11:20 God is the one that holds the power
11:21 and that's what makes it so awesome.
11:23 Because we serve the God that holds all the power.
11:26 We don't have to worry about anything.
11:30 So I encourage you guys as we sing this last song,
11:32 think about the things that I've said,
11:35 because in the end God has the control
11:37 and God knows everything.
11:40 So trust Him, don't worry.
11:43 I invite you guys to sing our last song.
11:45 And it's called "Do it again."
12:10 Waking around these walls
12:16 I thought by now they'd fall
12:22 But you have never failed me Yet
12:35 Waiting for change to come
12:41 Knowing the battle's won
12:47 For you have never failed me Yet
12:59 Your promise still stands
13:03 Great is Your faithfulness
13:07 Faithfulness
13:12 I'm still in Your hands
13:15 This is my confidence
13:19 You've never failed me yet
13:37 I know the night won't last
13:43 Your word will come to pass
13:49 My heart will sing Your praise again
14:01 Jesus You're still enough
14:08 Keep me within Your love
14:14 My heart will sing Your praise again
14:26 Your promise still stands
14:29 Great is Your faithfulness
14:34 Faithfulness
14:38 I'm still in Your hands
14:42 This is my confidence
14:46 You never failed
14:51 Your promise still stands
14:54 Great is Your faithfulness
14:58 Faithfulness
15:03 I'm still in Your hands
15:07 This is my confidence
15:10 You never failed me yet
15:51 I've seen you move
15:54 You move the mountains
15:57 And I believe
16:00 I'll see you do it again
16:03 You made a way
16:06 Where there was no way
16:09 And I believe
16:12 I'll see you do it again
16:15 I've seen you move
16:18 You move the mountains
16:21 And I believe
16:24 I'll see you do it again
16:27 You made a way
16:30 Where there was no way
16:33 And I believe
16:36 I'll see you do it again
16:39 I've seen you move
16:42 You move the mountains
16:45 And I believe
16:48 I'll see you do it again
16:51 You made a way
16:54 Where there was no way
16:57 And I believe
17:00 I'll see you do it again
17:07 I'll see you do it again
17:29 Your promise still stands
17:32 Great is Your faithfulness
17:36 Faithfulness
17:41 I'm still in Your hands
17:44 This is my confidence
17:48 You never failed me yet.
18:14 Hello, this is Gillian Howard.
18:17 And I have the scripture reading for today.
18:21 Acts 2:17-21.
18:25 "In the last days, God says,
18:28 'I will pour out my Spirit on all people,
18:32 your sons and daughters will prophesy,
18:36 your young men will see visions,
18:38 your old men will dream dreams,
18:42 even on my servants, both men and women.
18:47 I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
18:51 and they will prophesy.
18:54 I will show wonders in the heavens above,
18:57 and signs on the earth below,
19:00 blood and fire and billows of smoke.
19:05 The sun will be turned to darkness
19:08 and the moon to blood
19:11 before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
19:16 And everyone who calls
19:18 on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"
19:26 Let's pray.
19:28 Oh, God, you end the Bible with an altar call, come.
19:33 The Spirit says come.
19:36 The bride says come, all heaven says come.
19:40 Well, here we are.
19:41 We've come to this moment.
19:43 If you're making an appeal to us,
19:45 may we hear with the best hearing we have
19:52 with the clarity that only the Holy Spirit
19:54 can bring in Jesus' name.
19:56 Amen.
19:58 So here's the million dollar question
20:00 for you and me.
20:04 Can God revive America?
20:09 One of our Canadian viewers sent me a link to the CBC.
20:13 That's the Canadian Broadcasting Company.
20:15 There's an article there, she wanted me to read,
20:17 "Things fall apart in the United States
20:19 and Canada takes a hard look in the mirror."
20:22 Let's put, this is the journalist,
20:25 Aaron Wherry.
20:26 We put Aaron Wherry's words on the screen,
20:28 "The United States has offered the world
20:30 a demonstration of how things can fall apart.
20:34 Not in one cataclysmic moment."
20:36 Nope.
20:37 "But slowly and steadily over a long period of time,
20:42 as institutions and ideas erode and crumble."
20:46 And when I read that, I said, wow, that's the Roman Empire.
20:50 Are you serious?
20:52 Can God revive America?
20:56 We had a pre-election prayer meeting.
20:58 Thank you, Chaplain Jose, for pulling that off.
21:00 It was through Zoom,
21:02 Facebook Live, last Monday evening.
21:05 And one of the participants,
21:07 a friend of mine named Cliff Jones,
21:09 say, "You got to read the story of Jonah, folks."
21:12 And when we read the story, I said,
21:14 My Lord, I know it reads Nineveh,
21:18 I'm thinking America, come on.
21:20 Let's read it, when's the last time you
21:21 were even in the Book of Jonah.
21:24 Tucked away in those minor prophets,
21:27 hard to find.
21:29 Jonah Chapter 3,
21:30 we'll just catch the flavor of this.
21:33 This is absolutely amazing.
21:36 Jonah 3:1,
21:38 I'm in the New International Version.
21:40 "Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time:
21:44 'Go to that great city of Nineveh
21:46 and proclaim to it the message I give you.'
21:50 This time Jonah obeyed the word of the Lord
21:52 and he went to Nineveh.
21:54 Now Nineveh was a very large city,
21:55 it took three days to go through it.
21:57 Jonah began by going a day's journey
21:59 into the city proclaiming 40 more days,
22:02 and Nineveh will be overthrown, you'll be new."
22:05 And guess what?
22:06 The Ninevites, you know,
22:08 the Assyrian Empire was the baddest
22:10 of the bad of the bad, cruel and violent.
22:14 This is amazing line, "The Ninevites believed God,
22:18 a fast was proclaimed,
22:20 and all of them from the greatest to the least
22:22 put on sackcloth.
22:25 When Jonah's warning reached the king of Nineveh,
22:27 he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes,
22:31 covered himself with sackcloth, and sat down in the dust.
22:35 This is the proclamation issued in Nineveh:
22:39 'By the decree of the king and his nobles,
22:41 do not let people or animals or herds or flocks,
22:44 taste anything, do not let them eat or drink,
22:47 but let people and animals be covered with sackcloth,
22:49 let everyone call urgently on God.
22:53 Let them give up their evil ways
22:54 and their violence.'
22:56 Who knows?
22:57 God may yet relent and with compassion,
23:00 turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.'
23:03 When God saw what they did,
23:07 and how they turned from their evil ways,
23:09 He relented,
23:11 and did not bring on them the destruction
23:14 He had threatened."
23:16 Look, folks, if God can spare
23:19 and save wicked Nineveh,
23:25 the question, can God revive America
23:27 turns out to be a rhetorical question.
23:29 So let me change the question.
23:31 Can we revive America?
23:34 I'm amazed at some of the suggestions
23:36 now coming out of educated circles,
23:40 with solutions for America's need
23:42 of a revival.
23:45 Husband and wife team, also viewers sent me last week,
23:51 a link to a Christianity Today website interview.
23:56 And I got to share a line from that interview with you.
23:59 They're interviewing Kim Colby.
24:01 She's a graduate of Harvard Law School.
24:03 And now with a Christian Legal Society
24:05 Center for Law and Religious Freedom.
24:08 They want to talk to her about the recent appointment
24:10 of Amy Coney.
24:11 Coney Barrett,
24:13 it's just that's the name we're living with now
24:14 to the Supreme Court.
24:16 So now in the middle of the interview,
24:18 here we go, question.
24:19 "Generally speaking Protestants and Catholics
24:22 read the Bible differently.
24:23 So do you think they would read the Constitution differently?"
24:27 Answer.
24:28 That is interesting.
24:30 I haven't thought about it myself or really explored it.
24:32 My instinct would be no,
24:34 they would not read the Constitution differently,
24:36 even though
24:37 because theologically that's true.
24:43 They read the Bible differently.
24:45 And then she relates a debate
24:47 they've been having at Harvard this summer.
24:50 I'm gonna put it on the screen for you.
24:51 These are her words, Kim Colby.
24:53 "There is a divide very recently,
24:55 where a Catholic law professor at Harvard came out and said,
25:00 "When we have the political power
25:02 to impose what's right
25:04 as we understand our faith to teach what's right,
25:08 then we should do it."
25:12 Is that a stunner or what?
25:15 Hey, listen, let's have a revival,
25:18 let's legislative revival.
25:20 Let's impose a revival.
25:23 Come on, oh, look at that line,
25:24 "When we have the political power to impose,"
25:30 that's a foreboding word "to impose,
25:32 to force what's right,
25:34 as we understand our faith to teach what's right,
25:38 then we should do it."
25:41 Mercy!
25:44 Now she responds
25:45 and you need to see her response
25:47 this fellow attorney,
25:48 "And I don't agree with that.
25:50 I think it is a very dangerous idea,"
25:53 and so do I by the way.
25:55 "And there was a lot of debate about that
25:58 for a few weeks this summer."
26:00 My, my, my, my, can God revive America?
26:03 Well, yeah, we can get enough power,
26:06 political power, we can force America,
26:08 we can impose upon America the agenda for God.
26:13 You got to be kidding me.
26:17 Here's the question.
26:19 Who decides whose faith is supposed to be legislated?
26:22 Is it the Roman Catholic faith?
26:24 Is it the Baptist faith?
26:26 How about the Presbyterians faith?
26:28 How about the little Seventh-day Adventist faith?
26:30 Who determines the interpretation of faith?
26:35 Answer, those who have the most votes.
26:39 That's it.
26:42 Hey, listen,
26:44 with all this bedlam that has gone on,
26:47 over counting ballots this election.
26:49 Can you imagine a roomful of clergy
26:51 and a roomful of politicians
26:53 arguing over whose faith is the faith
26:55 that we're going to legislate,
26:57 and then they cast the votes
26:58 and then they take forever to count them?
27:00 I mean, what will come out of that?
27:03 And God, can God revive America?
27:07 We end this American apocalypse with one line.
27:11 Open your Bible to the apocalypse, please,
27:12 one line, this is it.
27:14 Part 10.
27:15 Can God revive America?
27:18 I mean, we're talking about a genuine,
27:19 spiritual moral revival.
27:22 Could it happen here?
27:24 Let's go. Revelation Chapter 18.
27:26 Got your study Bible there with you?
27:29 Just one line, Revelation 18:1.
27:34 "And after this,
27:35 I saw another angel coming down from heaven.
27:40 He had great authority,
27:41 and the earth was illuminated by his splendor."
27:46 Hey, have you seen those screensavers you can get,
27:49 you can download maybe just, anyway,
27:52 I downloaded some on my Mac.
27:54 They're taken by drones over great cities in the world.
27:57 They're taken from satellites over continents.
28:01 It's just fascinating.
28:02 Since I got ADHD, I just every time that happens,
28:05 I just forget what I'm doing just a watch this thing,
28:07 it's beautiful.
28:09 Have you ever seen America at night?
28:13 I'm gonna show you right now.
28:14 In fact, our title slide is on "America at night."
28:17 American Apocalypse, here's what we know.
28:19 The best is yet to come.
28:21 So that's the title of this piece.
28:22 But let's take the words off of it.
28:25 Look at America at night.
28:27 My, my, my, my, my.
28:28 Hey, hey, wave.
28:30 There we are.
28:32 Isn't that us?
28:34 Wrong time of day.
28:37 You look at that.
28:38 What just happened in Revelation 18:1.
28:44 Apparently, it's not only describing America,
28:47 it's describing the whole planet.
28:49 Come on, Revelation 18:1 "And after this,
28:51 I saw another angel coming down from heaven
28:53 and he had great authority,
28:54 and the earth was illuminated by his splendor."
28:58 Now look, it's obvious to all of us.
29:00 It has to be the glory of Jesus, right?
29:04 I mean, you and I,
29:05 and angels we got, we're the same.
29:08 Humans and angels there is no glory
29:10 that emanates from within.
29:12 It all reflects from without.
29:16 Angels don't have glory.
29:17 They just hang around glory 24/7,
29:20 and they got it wherever they go.
29:22 They have the glory.
29:24 So it can't be an angel's glory that illumines the earth,
29:28 it has to come from someone else.
29:29 Now I remind you,
29:31 in case you've forgotten
29:32 that nearly every line in the apocalypse
29:35 is either a translation of or an allusion
29:39 to something from the Old Testament.
29:43 And what we see right here, in fact is spot on.
29:45 That's what it is. In fact, let me show it to you.
29:46 Ezekiel 43:1, "The man brought me,"
29:51 young Ezekiel the Prophet.
29:54 "He brought me to the gate facing east, "
29:56 that's the direction of God,
29:58 "And I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east.
30:03 His voice, God's voice was like the roar of rushing waters,
30:08 and the land was radiant with his glory."
30:10 Do you recognize that in Revelation 18:1?
30:12 Of course, there's a bow.
30:15 And by the way, if you looked at the description of Jesus,
30:19 the physical description of the glorified Christ
30:21 in Revelation Chapter 1,
30:23 you'll notice that His voice is described as the roar,
30:27 the roar of rushing waters.
30:30 And by the way,
30:31 John took one look at his face
30:33 that was as bright he said as the sun,
30:35 brighter than the sun,
30:37 and he's dead on the ground, he just passes out.
30:41 So that's what John is talking about.
30:45 This isn't the glory of an angel,
30:47 this is the glory of the mighty, ascended,
30:51 reigning and soon coming,
30:54 Lord Jesus Christ, that's the glory.
30:57 That soaks itself
30:59 into the life and story of this planet.
31:04 Wow.
31:07 What's going on here?
31:09 I'm talking about in Revelation 18,
31:10 this can't be the second coming guys.
31:12 The second coming is in Chapter 19.
31:14 What is happening here?
31:17 Apparently, this is a global intervention.
31:22 Now listen carefully.
31:23 This celestial ambassador breaks this the sound barrier,
31:30 there must have been a sonic boom
31:31 when he showed us, boom,
31:33 enters through our atmosphere, feet,
31:35 that the moment his feet touched this terrestrial ball.
31:40 The whole ball is a light of the glory of Christ.
31:46 What's going on here?
31:47 Whatever it is, I'll tell you what?
31:49 It is big, and it is global.
31:51 And that's what I love about God,
31:52 because He lives by this adage, go big or go home.
31:55 That's just the way He lives.
31:56 He didn't do puny.
31:59 He does big.
32:01 This is huge. You know what this is?
32:02 This is the last revival
32:05 in the history of the human race
32:06 and hasn't even started yet.
32:08 We're close.
32:10 Oh, go big before you come home.
32:12 That's what God is saying.
32:14 How big?
32:15 Take a look at this.
32:19 If this is the last revival,
32:21 now I suppose there'd be a clue
32:22 if we went to the first revival of the Christian Church,
32:25 the early infant, Christian movement.
32:30 Let's do it, come on, for the fun of it.
32:31 You just go back to Acts 2,
32:33 everybody knows the story of Pentecost.
32:35 I want you to see this.
32:36 Because if Pentecost is this way,
32:39 can you imagine
32:41 what the last revival on the earth will be like?
32:44 All right, Acts Chapter 2.
32:45 "And when the day of Pentecost came,
32:48 they were all together in one place, "
32:50 they're in the upper room.
32:52 "And suddenly a sound
32:54 like the blowing of a violent wind, "
32:56 notice this, it's the sound, not the movement,
32:58 the curtain stand,
33:00 the curtains don't even tremble,
33:01 but it's gale force, wind.
33:06 And then according to the Greek construction,
33:07 there appears in over their heads,
33:10 an orange ball, fire,
33:14 orange ball and an unseen hand as it were,
33:16 with a paring knife slices off from that orange ball.
33:19 And the moment that slice of fire is loosen,
33:23 shew, and it's on top of somebody.
33:25 It's on top of her, him, us.
33:31 "And all of them,"
33:32 what does it say here in verse 4,
33:34 "And all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit.
33:36 And they began to speak in other tongues,
33:39 as a spirit enabled them."
33:40 We know those are other languages
33:42 because like five verses later,
33:44 people from all over the planet are saying,
33:45 "Man, how come I can hear you in my home tongue."
33:50 Peter, guests, obviously, I know
33:51 some of you think we're drunk.
33:52 We're not drunk.
33:54 It's only 9 o'clock in the morning.
33:55 I want to tell you what's happening right now.
33:57 Now listen carefully,
33:58 because he's gonna interpret the first revival
34:01 so that we can understand this, the last one.
34:03 All right, he says, listen carefully
34:04 what you were seeing today
34:06 is the fulfillment of the prophecy of Joel.
34:08 Okay, now we pick it up.
34:09 But I want you to read here, verse 17.
34:12 "In the last days," he's quoting Jonah.
34:15 This is a big fisherman Peter, "In the last days, God says,
34:19 'I will pour out my Spirit on all people.'"
34:22 How many people, folks?
34:24 Come on, how many people?
34:26 Could it be the whole world?
34:28 Could that be a huge clue
34:33 that whatever breaks out,
34:35 will break out simultaneously all over the planet?
34:40 "I will pour my Spirit out on all people
34:42 and your sons and your daughters
34:44 will prophesy,
34:45 your young men will see visions
34:47 and your old men will dream dreams even on my servants,
34:50 both men and women.
34:52 I will pour out my Spirit in those days
34:54 and they will prophesy."
34:56 Keep reading.
34:57 "I will show wonders in the heavens above
34:59 and signs on the earth below,
35:02 blood and fire and billows of smoke.
35:06 The sun will be turned to darkness."
35:08 Listen, if we had a session
35:10 on the powers of heaven being shaken in Luke 21.
35:13 This is right around there.
35:16 "The sun will be turned to darkness,
35:20 the moon will turn to blood
35:22 before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord."
35:25 This is just before the return of Christ and Peter.
35:31 Hey, Peter, you're messed up, buddy.
35:34 This isn't about your generation.
35:36 This is about our generation.
35:38 We're the last generation, you're at the beginning.
35:41 But he takes the description of the,
35:43 at the end of time, revival.
35:47 And he says, "We're the first,
35:51 a down payment will eventually come."
35:57 I mean, if the beginning is like this,
35:59 can you imagine what the ending will be?
36:04 Let's read again.
36:05 Verse 1, Revelation 18,
36:08 "And after this,
36:10 I saw another angel coming down from heaven,
36:11 and he had great authority and the earth, "
36:14 we're talking about the world, folks,
36:16 "the earth was illuminated by his splendor."
36:20 I got to share this line with you
36:22 from that apocalyptic classic, Great Controversy.
36:23 If you don't have that classic.
36:25 In just a moment,
36:26 you're going to get an opportunity
36:28 to get a free no cost copy.
36:31 All right.
36:32 Let's read Great Controversy on the screen,
36:34 "The angel who unites
36:35 in the proclamation of the third angel's message,"
36:39 like to think of this angel as the fourth angel,
36:42 "is to lighten the whole earth with his glory."
36:45 We already got that, that's Revelation 18:1,
36:47 "A work of world-wide extent and unwonted,"
36:50 that's old English.
36:52 That means extraordinary power is here foretold.
36:55 Now keep reading.
36:57 "The great work of the gospel."
36:59 Oh, I love this.
37:00 The great work of the gospel is not to close
37:02 with less manifestation of the power of God
37:04 than marked its opening."
37:06 If you have this spectacular opening,
37:09 you are assured
37:10 that there will be a triumphant ending
37:15 to this little community.
37:17 This faith community
37:18 that wanders the face of the earth
37:20 as Christianity has often did through the millennia.
37:25 Do you know what that looks like
37:27 up close and personal?
37:28 You got to see this.
37:29 This is one of my favorite lines
37:31 in Great Controversy.
37:32 Put it on the screen, please. Servants of God.
37:34 Okay, friends of God.
37:36 Friends of God,
37:37 with their faces lighted up
37:38 and shining with Holy consecration.
37:40 Well, how could your face be lighted up?
37:42 There's no glory inside of me.
37:43 Well, you gotten close to somebody with glory.
37:46 Obviously, they've drawn near to Christ
37:48 that their faces radiate with that holy consecration.
37:52 "Friends of Jesus, with their faces lighted up,
37:55 will hasten from place to place, "
37:57 hit the pause button right there.
37:58 These have to be Gen zers or maybe millennials.
38:02 When they want them to go somewhere,
38:03 all they need is what?
38:05 A plane ticket, a laptop and a passport.
38:07 They can go anywhere on the planet.
38:09 Pandemic has kind of ended that story.
38:13 But let me just say this about the pandemic,
38:14 since you brought it up.
38:16 The pandemic
38:19 is not going to go indefinitely.
38:22 I don't bring you a word from God.
38:24 I bring you the thoughts of God
38:26 that will call for this to happen.
38:31 We can't do this right now.
38:33 Servants, friends of Jesus,
38:35 going from door to door hastening from place to place,
38:39 but the day is coming.
38:41 God will not leave this planet
38:42 pinned down by the enemy of the universe.
38:47 Yeah, the devil has held a pay as it is.
38:50 All right, "Friends of God, faces lighted up,
38:54 hasten from place to place,"
38:55 I like that,
38:56 "to proclaim the message from heaven."
38:58 Keep reading. "By thousands."
39:01 What's this number, folks? Thousands.
39:03 These are not just little preachers
39:05 running around.
39:06 This is not preachers.
39:07 These are by the thousands of voices,
39:11 members of a faith community
39:13 that will fan out over the human race.
39:17 You're one of them.
39:18 You're one of them.
39:20 You haven't even thought of yourself
39:21 as one of the thousands, but you are one of them.
39:23 "By thousands of voices,
39:25 all over the earth, the warning, "
39:26 what warning?
39:28 Jesus is coming soon.
39:29 And by the way, don't you dare get that mark of the beast.
39:32 Don't you get it?
39:33 It's the end.
39:35 Stay true to Jesus.
39:37 "The warning will be given.
39:40 Miracles will be wrought, the sick will be healed, "
39:44 and look at this,
39:46 "and signs and wonders will follow the believers."
39:48 You remember last week,
39:50 those three ugly frogs coming out,
39:51 you remember that, coming out of the mouth.
39:52 All right. The satanic trinity.
39:54 What were those three ugly green frogs?
39:57 Spirits of demons,
39:58 performing signs and wonders
40:01 to deceive the kings of the earth.
40:03 Guess what? God gets a jump on it.
40:05 And he has His signs and wonders
40:07 ready to go through thousands of people,
40:11 including you and I hope me.
40:15 Wow.
40:16 Well, Satan's not going to take that.
40:18 Satan also works.
40:20 He's not going to let a global revival reign
40:23 on his parade.
40:24 Satan also works with lying wonders,
40:26 even bringing down fire from heaven
40:28 in the sight of men and women.
40:30 We've already read that in Revelation 13,
40:32 one more line.
40:33 "Thus, the inhabitants of the earth
40:35 will be brought to take their stand."
40:40 This massive, this mighty revival
40:42 is going to be bigger than what started it.
40:44 This go big and come home revival
40:48 of the entire planet.
40:50 This is no dress rehearsal.
40:52 This is no wimpy imitation.
40:56 It's the real deal.
40:58 It's the real deal that we've been talking about,
41:01 and some of us praying about,
41:02 for a long time.
41:04 It's the last apocalyptic rainfall
41:07 of the Holy Spirit on the human race.
41:09 You've heard people call something latter rain,
41:12 have you ever heard that?
41:13 Latter rain?
41:15 That's it right here.
41:16 It's this global revival. It's the latter rain.
41:18 I like the way my friend, Norman Gulley,
41:20 in his book, Christ is Coming.
41:21 He calls it
41:22 "The second coming of the Holy Spirit."
41:27 Oh, I like that.
41:29 Where was His first coming?
41:32 Pentecost.
41:33 There'll be a second coming. Of course.
41:35 He's never left the whole time, right here.
41:38 The second coming of the Holy Spirit, my!
41:44 And then, Norman Gulley makes the point.
41:47 If you want to be ready for the second coming of Jesus,
41:52 you got to be ready
41:53 for the second coming of the Holy Spirit first.
41:57 No second coming of the spirit in your heart,
42:00 no going to the home of the second coming Jesus.
42:05 Oh, Dwight, that's kind of rough.
42:07 Now let me just read
42:08 Gulley on the screen here for a minute.
42:11 "Here's the bottom line:" Okay.
42:12 So he's making the point.
42:14 "To be ready for the second coming of Christ
42:16 we must be ready
42:17 for the second coming of the Holy Spirit."
42:19 Yeah.
42:21 "But to be unready
42:22 for the coming of the Holy Spirit
42:24 is to be unready for the coming of Christ."
42:28 What's the point? You can't just blow this off.
42:31 Come on guys, you can't blow, ah, I'm into this Holy Spirit.
42:34 I'm not a Pentecostal, I'm not charismatic,
42:35 I'm just not into that.
42:37 You better get into it.
42:41 You got to get into it.
42:43 Your soul depends on it.
42:48 Let me explain.
42:51 Do you ever pray for somebody who's lost?
42:54 Somebody you love, somebody you know very well?
42:58 A friend of mine out in California,
42:59 just this week sent me an email say,
43:01 "Hey, Dwight, I got to share a story with you."
43:04 It turns out they're two grown men
43:06 out there on the West Coast,
43:07 I don't know who they are by the way,
43:09 who haven't been to church since they were teenagers.
43:11 Okay. So they went to church. Okay.
43:13 My teens are over, now I'm on my own,
43:15 and they had been on their own all these years.
43:19 It turns out they have a younger sister
43:22 who is relentless in her prayers
43:24 for her two older brothers.
43:26 Come on sisters, pray for your brothers,
43:28 and the other way around.
43:30 She's been praying for,
43:31 and she's been watching this series.
43:34 And so she gets hold of her two bros,
43:36 and she says, "You guys,
43:37 you need to watch American Apocalypse.
43:40 That's what you need."
43:42 And this is truly the Holy Spirit.
43:45 Moment of the story, they both decide to do that.
43:48 They're living in separate places
43:51 and they watch the series, which is ending right now.
43:56 And they give their hearts to Jesus.
43:59 Unbelievable.
44:01 Independent of each other,
44:02 they call the local pastor of the church they grew up in.
44:06 I want to come home to the church and to Jesus,
44:08 what do I need to do?
44:10 Isn't that something?
44:12 Come on, guys.
44:13 God is just softening up the earth.
44:16 One of these days, it comes,
44:20 the second coming of the Holy Spirit.
44:23 You know, when you're partnered with the Holy Spirit
44:25 like this young sister obviously is,
44:29 there is no limit what He can arrange
44:34 to be the very answer your heart is longing for most.
44:37 How does she know what to say?
44:39 She could have sent them a book or whatever.
44:42 I have no idea, but he said, tell them this.
44:44 She told them that and they got saved.
44:49 Don't blow off, by the way, the teaching of prophecy.
44:53 There is a power embedded in your study
44:56 of prophecy
45:00 that you won't find anywhere else.
45:04 Wow.
45:06 So, hey, listen, take these three action steps.
45:07 Let's just do this. Three action steps.
45:10 You want to get ready for the second coming
45:11 of the Holy Spirit?
45:12 Here are three action steps.
45:14 You want to help God reach America?
45:15 Can God revive America?
45:17 Are you kidding? Of course, He can.
45:19 Pray for your lost family members
45:21 and friends every day.
45:22 Come on. Just pray for them.
45:24 That's not hard to do.
45:26 Pray for them. Number two.
45:27 Then, and this was new for me,
45:29 then ask for the Holy Spirit to give you an idea
45:33 that will reach these you are praying for.
45:35 I'm praying for a man,
45:36 he's a professional in this community.
45:38 And I'm saying, come on, Holy Spirit,
45:40 what am I going to do?
45:41 We've become friends.
45:43 What am I going to do?
45:47 I mean, the story of that younger sister
45:48 shows you that it may be coloring outside
45:51 the box, but I'm asking you to do it.
45:55 And then number three.
45:56 Three action steps every morning.
45:59 Pray the simple prayer of asking Holy Spirit please
46:02 baptize me today with a heart and mind of Jesus.
46:06 Just baptize me today.
46:08 You remember the story of the 10 girlfriends.
46:10 Remember that parable?
46:12 The bridegroom, come on, where's the bridegroom?
46:13 And we've been here... how long we've been here?
46:15 Where is he? I don't know.
46:16 And all 10 went to sleep, true or false?
46:19 They did,
46:20 but five of them woke up and found out
46:22 that they did not have sufficient oil
46:24 and the oil petered out before the bridegroom arrived.
46:27 They went to Walmart and while they were there,
46:29 he came and that was it.
46:31 They're out.
46:34 We're all drowsy right now.
46:36 All of this pandemic
46:37 and life in America has awakened most of us.
46:42 This is the time for that oil.
46:46 You can't wait
46:47 till the big crisis comes too late.
46:50 This is the time for the oil of the Holy Spirit
46:52 for you to grow that friendship with Jesus right now
46:55 and the spirit is the huge key
46:59 to a personal friendship with Jesus.
47:01 This is it. Wow.
47:04 Can God revive America?
47:06 Please.
47:09 One lost soul at a time.
47:10 That's how He's going to do it.
47:12 Through one found soul at a time
47:16 through you and your prayers.
47:17 Don't forget number two, ask Him.
47:18 Now, listen, how should I do this
47:20 with my colleague at work?
47:22 How should I do this with the guy
47:24 that lives down the hallway in that dorm room?
47:26 I know he needs you.
47:27 What should I do?
47:30 Just ask him.
47:32 You say, I know him like a book.
47:36 I'll tell you do this. Be listening.
47:38 You'll be surprised.
47:40 How did a younger sister know, she just did something.
47:47 Can God revive America with an election like this
47:54 with social and mental disruptions,
47:57 this society now
47:59 living in disequilibrium cognitive dissonance?
48:01 Life has been thrown upside down
48:02 and you're saying,
48:04 this is really the pitiful time to reach America.
48:06 Are you kidding? It's the other way around.
48:09 This is the perfect time.
48:11 It is when people are going through cognitive dissonance
48:14 and reality does not match their expectations.
48:17 So it creates this unsettledness.
48:19 When I am unsettled,
48:20 I'm wide open for something new.
48:23 Now both sides play with that same principle.
48:26 Both sides are going to come chomping in.
48:28 Say, I got something new for you.
48:30 But you work for Jesus.
48:31 You're one of those thousands of voices
48:33 that one day will belt the planet.
48:35 What can I do?
48:37 Well, it's a huge call to pray for America daily.
48:41 I'd hope you don't stop
48:42 just because we have gotten through an election.
48:44 And who knows
48:45 whether we're through that election.
48:48 I hope you pray for America.
48:49 I do daily, daily, come on, daily.
48:54 These are huge opportunities.
48:56 If a guy could save Nineveh, my Lord,
49:00 the highest political officer of Nineveh got saved.
49:03 Why can't the highest political leaders
49:04 of America get saved?
49:06 Don't put it past God to do that.
49:09 Go big before going home.
49:14 You got to trust Him.
49:15 You got to believe.
49:19 Well, let me close with an illustration
49:21 that really did it for me.
49:23 My friend, Marvin Moore.
49:24 It's a good one.
49:26 He says, do you ever get the feeling
49:28 just kind of discouraged?
49:31 Guy in the back road, yes?
49:34 You are discouraged about,
49:35 hey, how are we going to reach America?
49:36 How are we going to reach the world?
49:38 I mean, come on. How many people?
49:39 One, two, three and how many out there?
49:41 Oh, he says,
49:44 what I need you to remember
49:46 is when you set up your Christmas tree.
49:48 Anybody's already set up the Christmas trees?
49:50 I know Walmart probably has all of them,
49:52 but I don't know.
49:56 When you set up your Christmas tree,
49:58 tell me true or false.
49:59 So you got the naked tree right there.
50:00 It could be artificial or it could be real,
50:02 doesn't matter.
50:03 You get those lights.
50:05 Don't the lights have to go on first?
50:06 Yes, they do. Thank you for reminding me.
50:08 You just start taking those lights.
50:10 They're off,
50:11 but you're going to move them around
50:12 and put a little pinpoint of light.
50:14 That would look nice if it lights up there
50:15 and then you arrange it on this branch and this branch,
50:17 you work your way all the way up to the top.
50:20 And then everybody loves this moment
50:21 in your home and mine.
50:23 Okay?
50:24 All right, kids, turn off the lights in the living room.
50:26 Let's go.
50:27 All right, Judy, you ready to go?
50:29 When I say, go, you go and the lights are off.
50:33 This dark tree is sitting there
50:35 and Junior shows that that plug
50:38 into that socket
50:40 and the tree is a wash in glory,
50:46 and everybody starts applauding,
50:49 and you take a few bows.
50:53 What happened?
50:55 Before the lights were turned on,
50:58 I was just one little pinpoint,
51:01 one little tiny bulb.
51:06 But when the day came for God to turn the power on,
51:12 I suddenly discover
51:14 there are hundreds and thousands of little lights,
51:19 just like me all around me, and I never saw them.
51:22 Here I've been complaining what a mess,
51:24 what a challenge, it won't work.
51:27 God says, just let me turn the power on.
51:30 Revelation 18:1,
51:32 "After this, I saw another angel
51:34 coming down from heaven.
51:35 He had great authority
51:36 and the earth was illuminated by his splendor."
51:38 Because the Holy Spirit hit the switch
51:41 and here hither to unknown points of light.
51:52 She was in a dorm.
51:55 How many years
51:57 have I been working with this guy?
51:58 I didn't know He was a point of light.
52:02 I tell you what, the best is yet to come.
52:05 Can I just say that?
52:06 The best is yet to come.
52:09 Because not only do we have the second coming of Jesus,
52:11 hallelujah.
52:13 We have the second coming of the Holy Spirit
52:15 before the second coming of Jesus.
52:18 And this planet has never seen that.
52:20 And you're going to be a part of it.
52:22 Thousands of you will be a part of it
52:24 because God has called you right now.
52:27 Don't you tell me you're too young?
52:28 You're not too young.
52:30 He's going to have to have an entire generation of young
52:32 because He's not waiting for everybody
52:34 to grow up is go now.
52:37 And you're it.
52:40 Oh, my. The best is yet to come.
52:44 It's always that way with Jesus, by the way.
52:46 If you give your life to Jesus,
52:48 it'll always be true.
52:50 The best is yet to come.
52:52 This is just the way He is.
52:54 He keeps giving you better, better, better, better, better.
52:59 And the best will always be yet to come.
53:02 What a Savior.
53:05 What a Spirit.
53:09 Come on.
53:10 We just waved our hands a moment ago,
53:12 that beautiful baptism of Amaar.
53:14 And by the way, we had another college dude,
53:16 Michael in first service, two beautiful baptisms.
53:20 Instead of saying amen,
53:21 how many want to put your hand up and say,
53:22 you know what, Dwight,
53:24 I want to be a part of those thousands?
53:25 I want to be a part
53:27 of that second coming of the Holy Spirit,
53:28 so that when He hits the on switch,
53:31 that this little point of light will suddenly glow
53:34 like I've never glown before.
53:39 He's coming soon.
53:41 He's ready for you now.
53:43 I say, let's go with Him. What do you say?
53:45 Yeah.
53:47 Let's take out the connect card real quick before I sit down.
53:49 Connect card pmchurch.org.
53:51 You want the digital connect card?
53:52 Here it is, pmchurch.org/connect.
53:55 And what will we find there?
53:56 You'll find the word connect.
53:57 And then my next step today
53:59 is I want to be a pinpoint of light for Jesus
54:03 in my world.
54:04 We all raised our hands and said, yep, yep, yep.
54:06 Box number two.
54:07 Please send me a copy of the Great Controversy.
54:10 I want to learn more about America and prophecy.
54:12 If you don't have this book,
54:14 all I need is an email address
54:16 and you'll have it this week, next week.
54:19 You got to have it. You have to have it.
54:21 This is dynamite.
54:24 All right. Box number three.
54:26 I want to follow Jesus in baptism, Amaar.
54:29 No, he's kind of holding back.
54:30 You heard him say, "I don't know.
54:32 Should I get baptized now?
54:33 Maybe I'll wait."
54:35 Don't do like Amaar. Say, Hey, forget a devil.
54:37 I know why don't want me to get baptized.
54:40 Say yes to Jesus
54:41 and He'll take care of the details.
54:43 Promise.
54:44 Say yes to Jesus. You put a check mark there.
54:46 We need your email address
54:48 because we want to be back in touch with you.
54:49 We'll do whatever it takes to help you.
54:51 Okay. Is there another box?
54:52 Yep.
54:54 For a book on how to be baptized daily
54:56 by the Holy Spirit,
54:57 write H-S for Holy Spirit on the prayer request line.
55:03 You'll see it there digitally.
55:04 But if you want to save a step and get the book right now,
55:06 after, after you go back to your Wi-Fi,
55:09 here's where you go,
55:10 www.steps-to-personal-
55:15 revival.info.
55:18 That's it.
55:19 You go to that website and the book that changed
55:22 reshaped my life in ministry, and by a German,
55:25 elderly German businessman named Helmut Huabeil.
55:28 That book will be waiting for you
55:30 and you'll download it
55:31 and you'll have it this afternoon.
55:33 Remember that website,
55:34 steps-to-personal-revival separated by those dashes.
55:37 God is ready to go, ready to go.
55:44 And I'm grateful that you are too.
55:48 God bless you.
55:54 I'd like to take another moment with you here
55:57 at the end of our worship service
55:58 to share a special offer.
56:00 We have a new series called "American Apocalypse"
56:03 at our New Perceptions' website.
56:05 And I hope you'll be blessed by watching it.
56:07 Given the times of uncertainty we now live in.
56:10 There's a book I mentioned every now and then
56:11 that I'd love for you to have at no charge.
56:14 It's the apocalyptic classic, "The Great Controversy, "
56:17 the dramatic story of Christianity
56:19 and the church down to the Dark and Middle Ages
56:22 into the turbulent present, and very uncertain future.
56:26 I read a lot of books on Bible prophecy.
56:28 And by far this is the most gripping
56:30 and informative.
56:31 So if you pick up the phone
56:33 and dial one of our friendly operators
56:34 at 877-HIS-WILL,
56:36 those two words 877-HIS-WILL.
56:39 Ask for The Great Controversy.
56:41 It is very much a story whose time is way overdue.
56:44 Read the book for yourself.
56:45 So call this number 877-HIS-WILL
56:49 and ask for this book by name, The Great Controversy.
56:52 And I'm gonna be praying you get as blessed as I am
56:55 every time I read it.
