00:06 Let's all praise the Lord 00:08 We'll sing out loud our voices raising 00:12 Let's all praise the Lord 00:15 Halleluiah, halleluiah 00:22 We'll tell the world how much we love Him 00:25 Let's all praise 00:27 Come on, let's all praise the Lord 00:33 Hi, boys and girls. 00:34 How many of you have ever played 00:36 Follow the Leader? 00:37 Now the rules of this game are very simple. 00:40 A leader is chosen and placed at the head of the line 00:43 and everyone else lines up behind the leader 00:45 and does exactly what he does. 00:48 He might jump over rocks, or crawl under chairs, 00:50 or run through the puddles. 00:52 Although, follow the leader is just a game, 00:55 we do follow leaders in life as well. 00:57 There are leaders in school, and church, 00:59 and on sports teams. 01:01 We have to learn to make good choices 01:03 about which leaders we will follow. 01:05 The only good leaders are the ones that lead us 01:08 in the right directions. 01:11 When Jesus called out to Peter, Andrew, James and John 01:14 and asked them to follow Him, 01:17 do you think they made a good choice? 01:19 Well, of course, they did. 01:20 Because Jesus is the best leader, 01:22 we could ever have. 01:24 And He's also calling you to follow Him. 01:27 Without Jesus, we would be lost in this world. 01:32 Listen now as Sam sings, "I Need Thee Every Hour." 01:48 I need thee every hour 01:53 Most gracious Lord 01:57 No tender voice like thine 02:01 Can peace afford 02:06 I need thee 02:08 Oh, I need thee 02:11 Every hour I need thee 02:15 Oh, bless me now my savior 02:20 I come to thee 02:25 I need thee every hour 02:30 In joy or pain 02:34 Come quickly and abide 02:38 Or life is vain 02:43 I need thee Oh, I need thee 02:48 Every hour I need thee 02:52 Oh, bless me now my savior 02:57 I come to thee 03:03 Oh, bless me now my savior 03:10 I come 03:13 To thee 03:24 Sheep are constantly playing a game of follow the leader. 03:27 That's why they need a shepherd. 03:29 Since they are not very smart when it comes to direction, 03:32 they need a leader that will keep them safe. 03:35 Now and then, you'll see stories in news 03:37 about sheep falling off cliffs. 03:39 In fact, farmers watched as 400 sheep 03:43 followed their leader right over a cliff 03:45 and fell to their death. 03:47 Aren't you glad that Jesus is our shepherd? 03:50 He stands at the head of the line 03:51 and leads us safely through life. 03:54 Thank Him for keeping you safe, as you listen to Lenova sing, 03:58 "The Lord is My Shepherd." 04:07 Because the Lord is my shepherd 04:11 I have everything I want 04:14 Because the Lord is my shepherd 04:17 I have everything I want 04:21 He fills my heart with joy 04:24 He satisfies my soul 04:27 Because the Lord is my shepherd 04:31 I have everything I want 04:34 When I'm hungry and thirsty 04:38 He comes and foods me up 04:41 When I'm weak and feeling lonely 04:45 He comes into my heart 04:48 I'll never be afraid 04:51 He's present every day 04:55 I feel Him standing always 04:58 Always next to me 05:03 Because the Lord is my shepherd 05:06 I have everything I want 05:09 Because the Lord is my shepherd 05:13 I have everything I want 05:16 He fills my heart with joy 05:19 He satisfies my soul 05:22 Because the Lord is my shepherd 05:26 I have everything I want 05:29 When I'm lost in the desert 05:33 He guide me all the way 05:36 When I'm deep down in the valley 05:39 He protects me through the day 05:43 I'll never be afraid 05:46 He's present every day 05:49 I feel Him standing always 05:53 Always next to me 05:58 Because the Lord is my shepherd 06:01 I have everything I want 06:04 Because the Lord is my shepherd 06:07 I have everything I want 06:11 He fills my heart with joy 06:14 He satisfies my soul 06:17 Because the Lord is my shepherd 06:21 I have everything 06:23 Everything, everything I want 06:31 The very first step 06:33 you have to take in allowing Jesus to lead you 06:36 is to open the door of your heart. 06:38 He stands there knocking, just waiting for you to answer. 06:42 He will never knock the door down 06:44 or force His way in. 06:45 Will you open the door? 06:47 Think about that, as Girls of Mercy sing 06:50 in their native language of Malawi, 06:52 "Knock-knock." 08:10 Some of our world's greatest leaders 08:12 weren't afraid to leave their palaces, 08:14 or their homes, or their offices 08:16 to help people in need. 08:18 In fact, to be a great leader, 08:20 you need to connect with your followers. 08:23 This next song is an invitation for Jesus, 08:26 our great leader to come near 08:28 and connect with His people. 08:30 Listen now as Roger and Tommy play on their violins, 08:34 "Kum Ba Yah." 09:57 As followers of Jesus, 09:59 we are to bring His message of love to a dying world. 10:03 Jesus in several places in the Bible 10:05 refers to His truth as light. 10:08 He says that we are to let our light shine 10:10 that we are not to hide the light we have 10:13 and that we are the light of the world. 10:16 Brittany will now encourage us with this next song, 10:19 "This Little Light of Mine." 10:26 This little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine 10:30 This little light of mine 10:32 I'm gonna let it shine 10:34 This little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine 10:37 Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine 10:42 Let it shine till Jesus comes I'm gonna let it shine 10:45 Let it shine till Jesus comes 10:47 I'm gonna let it shine 10:49 Let it shine till Jesus comes I'm gonna let it shine 10:53 Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine 11:02 While out for a nature walk one day, 11:04 a mother and her son came across the stream 11:06 that was too wide to jump across. 11:09 The mother told her son that if he followed her 11:12 and stepped on the rocks, exactly where she stepped, 11:15 he wouldn't fall and hurt himself. 11:17 She had crossed 11:18 this exact stream many times as a child, 11:21 and she knew the safe path to take. 11:24 The boy did as he was told for the first couple of steps 11:27 and then he got distracted by some frogs, 11:30 he saw in the water. 11:31 He quickly found out that the rock he stepped on 11:34 to get a closer look was very slippery 11:37 and he fell right into the water, 11:39 scraping his knee in the process. 11:41 When Jesus said, "Follow Me," 11:44 He meant exactly what that mother did. 11:46 He knows the safe path 11:48 that leads to our heavenly home. 11:51 "I praise God, 11:52 for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." 11:54 Psalm 139:14. 13:00 Before you paint a wall, 13:01 the surface must be prepared properly. 13:04 The wall must be clean, 13:05 and any cracks or ding should be fixed. 13:08 Did you know that our hearts need to be prepared too? 13:11 Yes, they do, 13:12 to get your heart ready for eternity in heaven, 13:15 Jesus has promised, 13:16 He would take your heart and clean it. 13:18 The only way to truly follow Jesus 13:21 is to give Him your heart and let Him prepare it. 13:25 James will now sing, "Sanctuary." 13:36 Lord prepare me 13:40 To be a sanctuary 13:44 Pure and holy 13:48 Tried and true 13:52 With thanksgiving 13:55 I'll be a living 13:59 Sanctuary for You 14:07 Lord prepare me 14:11 To be a missionary 14:15 Pure and holy 14:19 Tried and true 14:23 With thanksgiving 14:27 I'll be a living 14:31 Sanctuary for You 14:43 A woman was driving home one night, 14:45 when it started to rain so hard, 14:47 that she barely could see in front of her. 14:50 All she knew 14:51 was that there were taillights in front of her. 14:53 So she decided to follow the car, 14:54 is if it seemed be going in the right direction. 14:57 All of a sudden the car stopped. 14:59 So she stopped too. 15:00 And then that taillights went out. 15:03 The woman was so confused as to what was going on. 15:06 Then a man approached her car in the pouring rain, 15:08 and knocked on her window. 15:10 She rolled it down and asked him, 15:12 "What seems to be the problem? 15:14 Why did you stop in the middle of the road?" 15:16 The man laughed and said, 15:18 "We aren't in the middle of the road. 15:20 You are parked in my driveway." 15:22 It's important to be able to see clearly, isn't it? 15:25 If you keep your eyes on Jesus, 15:28 you will be able to see where you are going. 15:30 He is the only way. 15:32 Here's Devon and her sister Darla singing, 15:35 "Be Thou My Vision." 15:46 Be thou my vision oh Lord of my heart 15:53 Naught be all else to me save that thou art 16:00 Thou my best thought by day or by night 16:07 Waking or sleeping, thy presence my light 16:15 Be thou my wisdom and thou my true word 16:22 I ever with thee and thou with me Lord 16:29 Thou my great Father and I thy true son 16:36 Thou in me dwelling and I with thee one 16:43 Thou my best thought by day or by night 16:50 Waking or sleeping, thy presence my light 17:04 Every military troop has a leader. 17:07 And now the leader gives the commands 17:09 and the troop follows orders. 17:12 Well, choosing Jesus makes you a member of His army. 17:16 But unlike human leaders, Jesus never makes mistakes. 17:21 No, not ever. 17:23 You can trust that every one of His commands 17:26 are in your best interest. 17:28 Listen as The Kids Time Singers sing, 17:30 "I'm in the Lord's Army." 17:37 I may never march in the infantry 17:40 Ride in the cavalry 17:42 Shoot the artillery 17:44 I may never fly over the enemy 17:48 But I'm in the Lord's army 17:50 Yes, sir 17:51 I'm in the Lord's army 17:54 Yes, sir 17:55 I'm in the Lord's army 17:57 Yes, sir 17:59 I may never march in the infantry 18:02 Ride in the cavalry 18:04 Shoot the artillery 18:06 I may never fly over the enemy 18:09 But I'm in the Lord's army 18:11 Yes, sir 18:15 After the Israelite army 18:16 marched around the city of Jericho seven times 18:20 as instructed by the Lord, 18:21 they shouted and blew their trumpets 18:23 and the walls came down. 18:25 They followed God's instructions exactly. 18:28 And that shout was powerful enough 18:31 to bring a city to its knees. 18:33 Remember that with God, all things are possible, 18:36 as Avery plays on his saxophone, 18:39 "Shout to the Lord." 21:38 If a friend comes to your house, 21:40 knocks on the door and says, 21:42 "Hello, anyone home?" 21:44 Would you just let them in? 21:46 Remember that Jesus is your very best friend 21:49 and He never wants to leave your side. 21:52 If you choose not to let Him in, 21:54 He'll continue to stand at the door knock, 21:56 just hoping that one day you'll open the door. 22:00 Holly would bring us this next song, 22:02 "Behold, Behold." 22:08 Behold, Behold 22:11 I stand at the door And knock, knock, knock 22:14 Behold, Behold 22:16 I stand at the door And knock, knock, knock 22:19 If anyone hear my voice If anyone hear my voice 22:24 And will open, open, open the door 22:27 I will come in 22:29 Behold, Behold 22:32 I stand at the door And knock, knock, knock 22:34 Behold, Behold 22:37 I stand at the door And knock, knock, knock 22:39 If anyone hear my voice If anyone hear my voice 22:44 And will open, open, open the door 22:47 I will come in 22:54 Have you ever observed a field full of sunflowers? 22:57 If you watch them throughout the day, you'll notice, 23:00 they're always facing the sun. 23:02 It's really quite fascinating. 23:04 I love to see them. 23:06 I first saw field of sunflowers, 23:08 when I was in Germany and it was so beautiful, 23:11 thousands of sunflowers turning towards the sun. 23:14 We should be like those sunflowers, 23:17 keeping our faces always turned toward Jesus, 23:20 our eyes always on Him. 23:22 If we are looking at Jesus, we can't get distracted 23:26 by all the things of this world, 23:28 the things that will surely keep us out of heaven. 23:32 Let's listen as Sofia sings for us right now, 23:35 "Lead Me, Lord." 23:43 Lead me, Lord 23:46 Lead me by the hand 23:48 And help me face the rising sun 23:53 Comfort me through all the pain 23:56 That life may bring 23:59 There's no other hope 24:01 That I can lean upon 24:06 Lead me, Lord 24:09 Lead me all my life 24:15 Walk by me, walk by me 24:20 Across the lonely roads that I may face 24:25 Take my arms and let your hand Show me the way 24:32 Show the way to live inside your heart 24:38 All my days 24:41 All my life 24:46 You are my light 24:50 You're the lamp upon my feet 24:53 All the time, my Lord I need you there 24:59 You are my light 25:03 I cannot live alone 25:06 Let me stay, by your guiding love 25:12 All through my life 25:18 Lead me, Lord 25:24 You are my light 25:28 You're the lamp upon my feet 25:32 All the time, my Lord I need you there 25:37 You are my light 25:41 I just cannot live alone 25:44 Let me stay, by your guiding love 25:50 All through my life 25:53 All through my days 25:56 Lead me, Lord 26:02 Lead me, Lord 26:15 Boys and girls, 26:16 I hope you never get tired of following Jesus. 26:20 Sometimes the journey may seem long, 26:22 but the rewards are definitely worth it. 26:26 Do you remember the Israelites, 26:28 they left Egypt and followed God 26:30 in a pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day. 26:35 And when they finally reached the Promise Land, 26:38 they were too afraid to go in. 26:41 God has prepared so many things for us 26:44 that are beyond our imagination. 26:46 And you don't ever want to be afraid to follow Jesus. 26:50 He is trustworthy and He loves you so much. 26:53 He can't imagine heaven without you. 26:55 Remember, it's Kids Time to Praise Jesus. |
