00:26 >>John Bradshaw: This is It Is Written. 00:27 I'm John Bradshaw. 00:29 Thanks for joining me for part two of our five-part series, 00:32 "Conspiracy, More Than Just a Theory." 00:35 Now, the problem with conspiracy theories 00:38 is that they don't rest on proof. 00:41 You don't need any proof at all to establish the veracity 00:44 of a conspiracy theory. 00:45 You just need doubt. 00:47 Doubt and a healthy dose of mistrust-- 00:50 or maybe that's an unhealthy dose of mistrust. 00:54 Add some secrecy, add the fact that at times 00:58 the government has acted reprehensibly-- 01:00 think, for example, 01:01 of the ghastly Tuskegee medical experiments of last century-- 01:06 and you'll find people who are willing to believe 01:08 that you cannot trust anyone, that the truth is being hidden, 01:13 and that things are definitely not as they appear. 01:16 ♪[Soft ominous music]♪ 01:19 The vast majority of books written about the murder 01:21 of former president John F. Kennedy 01:24 suggest that there was a conspiracy 01:26 surrounding his death. 01:28 You've heard Elvis Presley's death was faked, 01:31 that Hitler survived World War II, 01:33 that Denver International Airport-- 01:36 well, that's been linked to every conspiracy theory 01:38 under the sun. 01:39 [Beeping, indistinct voices] 01:40 Conspiracy theories about politicians are common, 01:43 and you don't have to go very far at all to find people 01:46 who tell you that the government is keeping 01:48 what it knows about aliens at Area 51 a secret, 01:53 or that the earth is actually flat, 01:55 and the government is keeping that a secret, too. 01:58 No concrete proof for any of it, 02:00 but questions, unanswered questions sometimes, 02:04 and unsubstantiated claims made amid a ton of suspicion. 02:10 What is undeniable is that the Bible speaks about 02:12 a massive global conspiracy affecting the entire world, 02:16 including you and me, right now. 02:19 And there's no lack of evidence for this. 02:21 The evidence is everywhere. 02:23 The Bible speaks about it at great length. 02:26 ♪[Soft somber music]♪ 02:28 The fact that fewer and fewer people seem to be interested 02:32 in a genuine global conspiracy is really rather incredible, 02:36 especially when you consider that people are willing 02:39 to believe... 02:41 Well, in 2016, 02:43 about a month after the US presidential election, 02:46 a man drove from his home in North Carolina 02:48 to Washington, DC, armed with an assault rifle and a revolver, 02:53 owing to something that's become known as Pizzagate. 02:57 The word on the internet was that a pizzeria 02:59 in Washington, DC, 03:01 was the center of a ghastly child trafficking ring, 03:05 with connections to some of the country's 03:06 most influential political figures. 03:09 The man entered the pizza restaurant in broad daylight 03:12 and fired several shots as he attempted to find 03:16 the poor children and free them from the basement 03:19 in which they were being held captive. 03:22 But no, there weren't any children there 03:23 being trafficked at all. 03:26 The restaurant didn't even have a basement. 03:28 Lives were terribly affected by this conspiracy. 03:31 Imagine your business receiving 150 threatening phone calls 03:35 a day, and your staff members and your family members 03:39 receiving death threats. 03:41 The man was sentenced to four years in a federal prison 03:44 for believing and then acting on deliberate misinformation. 03:50 Now, again, it's not that the government 03:52 or any other organization has always acted entirely 03:55 above board, but you've got to be willing to believe 03:58 the very worst about people to go there in your thinking. 04:03 A huge spiritual conspiracy involving the entire planet 04:06 is being overlooked while people discuss and believe 04:10 that a pizza restaurant is ground zero for horrific crimes 04:14 with the participation of politicians, 04:17 and there was never any evidence, 04:18 never any reason to believe it was true. 04:22 Has to take a pretty massive amount of distrust 04:24 of the government to believe what we're going to look at now. 04:28 Keep in mind there's a global conspiracy being missed, 04:32 and yet something like this is believed by intelligent people. 04:36 Look up on any clear day 04:39 and, depending on where you're located, 04:41 you'll see vapor trails crisscrossing the sky, 04:44 and you think to yourself, "Airplanes," 04:46 because, of course, airplanes produce exhaust emissions. 04:49 But there are people who are convinced that the trails 04:53 left behind in the sky by planes are actually evidence 04:57 that the government is involved in geoengineering, 05:00 geoengineering that not only affects the world's weather 05:04 but also poisons the environment. 05:07 It's believed chemtrails, chemical trails, 05:10 are a government-sponsored conspiracy, 05:13 that chemicals such as aluminum and strontium are sprayed 05:16 into the atmosphere, and then they fall to the ground. 05:20 Now, it's said this is ostensibly for the purpose 05:21 of weather modification, 05:23 but it's been blamed for bad weather, 05:25 depletion of the ozone layer, pH changes in the soil, 05:29 and on and on. 05:31 Well, I've come here to talk with Terry Hess. 05:34 Mr. Hess is a pilot, 05:36 and he knows a thing or two about the subject. 05:40 >>Terry Hess: I'm a corporate pilot. 05:42 I fly for corporations in private jets. 05:44 >>John: Okay, around where? Which part of the United States? 05:46 >>Terry: Mostly eastern half of the U.S. 05:48 >>John: Okay, so, you, you see a little bit? 05:50 >>Terry: I do. 05:51 >>John: You interact with pilots? 05:52 >>Terry: I do. 05:53 >>John: You're in and out of airports? 05:54 >>Terry: I do. 05:55 >>John: You understand the aviation industry? 05:56 >>Terry: I believe so. 05:58 >>John: Tell me, uh, tell me how much you know about planes? 05:59 That's a very open-ended question. 06:01 What do you know about planes? 06:02 >>Terry: It's all I've done since I was a freshman 06:04 in high school. 06:05 So, I started pretty early, and, uh, I've been around. 06:08 I did flight instruction, worked for the airlines. 06:11 And then we've started our own private company 06:13 offering, uh, private jet service. 06:15 >>John: Okay, now, when you say you worked for the airlines-- 06:18 tell me a little bit about that. 06:19 >>Terry: I was a, uh, first officer, a captain, 06:21 and instructor pilot for, uh, several airlines. 06:24 >>John: Okay, so you've worked in the United States. 06:26 You, you've flown in other countries? 06:28 >>Terry: I have. 06:29 I did work, uh, domestically as well as in India, 06:32 a large part in India, 06:33 as well as Solomon Islands, Western Pacific. 06:35 >>John: Okay, so that's a variety of places 06:37 in which you've worked. 06:39 So, you're familiar with contrails, condensation trails? 06:45 >>Terry: Correct. 06:46 >>John: That, that path that planes leave in the sky? 06:48 >>Terry: Correct. 06:49 >>John: Can you explain to me what they are? 06:50 >>Terry: It's just, uh, when the atmosphere is right, 06:52 meaning the moisture content at the high altitudes 06:55 combined with the colder temperatures, 06:57 when the engine goes through the air, 06:59 it heats that air up, and that's what produces the condensation, 07:03 and it leaves a trail behind. 07:04 It's a naturally occurring event, 07:06 as a byproduct of the heat of the engine. 07:08 >>John: Now, you don't have to go too terribly far 07:13 to find people who will say that contrails, 07:17 condensation trails-- 07:18 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 07:19 >>John: ...are actually chemtrails, chemical trails. 07:22 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 07:23 >>John: What have you heard about that? 07:25 >>Terry: Well, it's just not true. 07:26 I mean, what most people see in the sky is a contrail. 07:30 Is it plausible to have a chemtrail, 07:32 or a, a government agency producing chemical, 07:37 uh, products and injecting them in the atmosphere? 07:39 It's plausible. I've never seen it, though. 07:41 >>John: So it could happen? 07:43 >>Terry: It could happen. 07:44 >>John: All right. We're opening a can of worms here. 07:45 [Terry Laughs] It could happen. 07:47 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 07:47 >>John: So, that leads me to this. 07:49 There are 600,000-plus pilots, depending on how you count, 07:54 in the United States alone. 07:56 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 07:57 >>John: About a quarter of a million of them 07:58 fly commercially. 08:00 >>Terry: Correct. 08:02 >>John: You know these men and women. 08:04 You interact with them; you train with them; 08:07 you eat in the breakroom with them. 08:09 >>Terry: Right. 08:10 >>John: You sit on the shuttle with them. 08:11 Pilots talk, right? 08:13 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 08:14 >>John: Okay, they talk. Share stories? 08:16 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 08:16 >>John: Share experiences? 08:17 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 08:18 >>John: Say what they know? Raise concerns? 08:20 >>Terry: Right. 08:21 >>John: Complain about the boss? 08:22 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 08:23 >>John: Talk about the government? 08:23 >>Terry: [laughs] Right. 08:25 >>John: From your point of view as a pilot, a businessman-- 08:28 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 08:30 >>John: ...does it appear possible that there could be 08:34 a conspiracy of this magnitude-- 08:36 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 08:37 >>John: ...without it being common knowledge 08:39 among the, the pilots themselves? 08:41 >>Terry: I don't believe so. 08:43 I think, uh, the pilots would see it, if it was in action. 08:46 But you're right. Uh, I've never seen it. 08:48 It's definitely not part of the airline atmosphere. 08:50 It's not part of the corporate atmosphere. 08:52 And our skies are full of corporate 08:54 and, uh, airline aircraft. 08:56 So, somebody would, would likely witness such an event. 09:00 >>John: Okay, so, from your perspective on the inside-- 09:03 you're an industry insider-- 09:05 what would it have to take for something like this-- 09:11 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 09:12 >>John: ...the government involved in geoengineering 09:14 in a way that it's poisoning people 09:17 and ruining the environment 09:18 and causing sickness, illness, so forth-- 09:20 what would it have to take for something like that 09:22 to be carried out? 09:24 >>Terry: It'd be a large-scale effort involved, 09:26 certainly an airforce of substantial size. 09:29 A lot of aircraft would have to be converted to tankering 09:32 the materials, injecting those material at high altitudes. 09:36 It is plausible to do so, um, but it'd be a very large effort, 09:40 especially in the sense to, uh, change the weather 09:44 and the atmospheric conditions to produce rain, 09:47 which is--I believe the theory is that they produce chemtrails 09:50 that produce rain. 09:51 To alter Mother Nature in such a form, 09:54 it would involve, in my opinion, 09:56 a very large-scale operation that would be very detectible. 10:00 >>John: Now, what I've heard as well is that they, 10:03 they seed the atmosphere with these chemicals in an effort 10:06 to combat global warming because then it will... 10:09 bounce the sunlight off this chemical blanket and back up 10:12 into the sky. 10:13 Now, you know enough about the environment, 10:15 about the way nature works and air patterns work 10:18 to have a, a thought on that. 10:20 Does that seem likely to you? 10:22 >>Terry: It seems... very unlikely. 10:25 It would be an unpractical-- the scale to do so, 10:29 to blanket the earth in a substantial manner 10:32 to produce rain, in my opinion, would be very unpractical. 10:39 Um, is it plausible? 10:40 It could happen, 10:41 but the scale to produce results would be huge. 10:46 Uh, so, I guess, in my opinion, very difficult to pull off. 10:50 >>John: What interests me about the theory of bouncing 10:52 the sunlight back up towards the sun is that this would, 10:57 it is said, create a blanket 10:58 that would then trap heat down here. 11:01 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 11:01 >>John: So it does seem, doesn't it, 11:03 that this is a little outside the scope of likelihood? 11:08 >>Terry: Yeah, it would be a big challenge. 11:10 Uh, I'd actually be very interested to see the attempts, 11:13 if it was ever attempted. 11:16 Um, you got to go back to the, what produces rain. 11:20 Uh, what produces rain is the sun's uneven heating 11:24 of the earth surface. 11:26 And so, actually, diversity of the earth surface 11:30 is what creates rain. 11:31 You have, uh, areas of, say, a freshly plowed field-- 11:36 that's, uh, dark soil. 11:37 It attracts the light, attracts the heat. 11:39 It'll produce a lot of heat, 11:42 and then an area of water or an area of trees is cooler. 11:46 And so that cycle of air is what produces the lifting action 11:50 that would carry moisture up. 11:51 It condensates and forms rain. 11:54 So to do a chemtrail from 40,000 feet, 11:58 um, to produce a cloud that would cool the earth 12:03 in one spot, leaving other spots hot, in my opinion, 12:06 that would be a pretty substantial effort 12:09 to make that happen. 12:10 >>John: Okay, so let's say they're doing this. 12:11 Let's just, let's just imagine that. 12:12 Let's say the government's got some conspiracy underfoot, 12:16 and they're equipping planes, 12:18 and they're, they're seeding the atmosphere with thus and so, 12:21 and I don't know where it's changing the weather, 12:23 but evidently it is. 12:24 And then it's poisoning us down here. 12:25 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 12:26 >>John: So...pretending for a moment they are, 12:30 where would they be doing it? 12:32 You, you're the pilot. 12:33 >>Terry: Mm-hmm. 12:34 >>John: Where would they be conducting, 12:36 where would they be outfitting the planes 12:37 and recruiting the pilots from? 12:39 Where could you imagine that happening? 12:41 >>Terry: I would say it'd have to be, 12:42 it would have to be a government agency. 12:44 I don't think it would be in the private sector. 12:46 >>John: Okay, so there's, there'd have to be 12:48 a government agency somewhere doing all of this 12:52 that nobody knows anything about? 12:53 >>Terry: Correct. 12:54 >>John: Okay, so that would be a big thing, wouldn't it? 12:55 >>Terry: It would. 12:56 >>John: And the pilots would have to be-- 12:58 I mean, look, I just don't know, 13:01 and I don't suppose you do, either. 13:02 >>Terry: So the pilots would probably be just, 13:04 uh, pilots that are trained in that type of airplane. 13:06 So the, the airplanes that do, say, air-to-air refueling, 13:09 the military ones, KC-135s, 13:11 these are large airliners that have been converted 13:14 with tanks and such. 13:16 In my vision, if it was to be pulled off, 13:18 they would use a similar architecture to, uh, 13:21 use these tanker aircraft to inject, uh, the material 13:25 into the atmosphere. 13:26 >>John: Okay. 13:27 So we've assumed there's a way to get it done, 13:29 if it was, if we really wanted to get it done. 13:33 There'd have to be people in your industry 13:36 blogging about this-- 13:38 >>Terry: Right. 13:39 >>John: ...writing about this-- 13:40 >>Terry: Right. 13:40 >>John: ...spilling the beans. 13:41 Wouldn't there, wouldn't there just have to be? 13:43 >>Terry: I agree. 13:44 It'd be very difficult to pull it off 13:46 without somebody noticing. 13:47 Uh, the airline pilots are floating around; 13:49 it's the same--and the corporate aircraft 13:51 are in the same air space that this would be conducted, 13:53 and if you're going to produce a cloud that's substantial enough 13:56 to reflect the light of the sun, to produce a rain cloud, 13:59 it'd be very large, and it would be visible, 14:02 certainly, for other pilots to see. 14:04 >>John: Do you see a day coming when the government 14:08 of the United States is deliberately poisoning 14:12 the environment, sickening us all, 14:15 doing so right under our noses, not telling us? 14:18 Does that seem at all likely to you? 14:21 >>Terry: I do not see a pilot that would engage 14:24 in such a matter. 14:26 I don't believe that, uh, I'm certainly hoping the government 14:28 wouldn't do something like that. 14:30 Uh, I don't believe it happens, no. 14:33 >>John: Now, again, what doesn't help 14:35 is that governments have done things that they've kept secret. 14:39 And then people find out and say, 14:41 "Well, that just proves that anything is possible." 14:45 But let's talk about what's really possible. 14:47 In fact, what's actually going on now. 14:50 And this conspiracy is big. 14:53 And it's real. 14:55 I'll have more in a moment. 14:57 ♪[Music]♪ 15:06 >>Announcer: Christians have looked for the signs 15:08 of Jesus' return for thousands of years. 15:11 But what does the Bible say we should be looking for? 16:55 When the world was created, it was a perfect world. 16:57 No death, no sadness, no sin. 17:02 Now, let's think about this. What is sin? 17:04 Well, 1 John 3, verse 4 says 17:05 that "sin is the transgression of the law." 17:09 Put another way, it's living outside the will of God. 17:12 In another place, 17:13 the Bible says that anything that "is not of faith is sin." 17:17 That's Romans 14:23. 17:21 And where did sin come from? 17:23 Why are we here in this sinful world in the first place? 17:27 Well, here's what we know from the Bible. 17:29 Revelation 12 tells us that there was war in heaven 17:33 between angels that were loyal to God and angels who chose 17:37 to stand with Lucifer, who became Satan. 17:39 Satan became divisive in heaven. 17:43 But over what? 17:46 Isaiah chapter 14 tells us, 17:48 "How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! 17:52 How are you cut down to the ground, 17:54 you who weakened the nations! 17:56 For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, 18:01 I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; 18:04 I will also sit on the mount of the congregation 18:07 on the farthest sides of the north; 18:10 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, 18:13 I will be like the Most High.'" 18:18 It was Satan's desire to sit in God's place. 18:22 He wanted rulership. Simply put, he wanted worship. 18:27 Ezekiel chapter 28 tells us a similar story, 18:30 starting in verse 14: 18:32 "You were the anointed cherub who covers; 18:34 I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; 18:38 you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. 18:42 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, 18:46 till iniquity was found in you. 18:48 By the abundance of your trading 18:50 you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; 18:55 therefore I cast you as a profane thing 18:58 out of the mountain of God; 19:00 and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, 19:03 from the midst of the fiery stones. 19:05 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; 19:08 you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor." 19:13 Lucifer was privileged. 19:15 He occupied an exalted place among the angels of God. 19:19 But he came to the place where he coveted worship, 19:21 the worship that rightfully belongs only to God. 19:26 You ask yourself why an angel of God in heaven would want 19:28 to jeopardize all that he had. 19:31 You can't really find answers for that. 19:33 But isn't that what happens 19:34 when a husband jeopardizes his marriage? 19:37 Or someone jeopardizes their future by anger or malice, 19:39 or when someone embezzles money from their employer, 19:42 or does something equally mindless? 19:44 How did they ever expect to get away with that? 19:47 You see, sin can't be explained. 19:49 It's self-indulgence rather than surrender to God; 19:53 we know that much. 19:55 Satan was on a mission, a mission to undermine 19:58 the authority and the government of God. 20:01 And that helps explain much of what we see in the world today. 20:05 When Satan came to the earth to tempt Adam and Eve, 20:08 he knew he had to get them to manifest distrust in God. 20:12 If they could exercise a lack of faith in God, 20:15 they'd be lost. 20:15 Satan knew that. 20:17 And what was true then is true today. 20:20 Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 59, verse 2, 20:22 that sin separates a person from God. 20:26 When Adam and Eve chose to rebel against God 20:30 and eat the fruit He told them not to eat, that was sin. 20:33 And what does sin bring with it? 20:35 It brings death. 20:37 Because separation from God ends in death. 20:40 Life is found only in God. 20:44 That's why the Bible says today, "He who has the Son has life; 20:48 he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." 20:52 First John 5, verse 12. 20:54 Outside of God there's no life. 20:57 Connected to God through Christ, there is life. 21:02 Paul wrote that "the wages of sin is death" in Romans 6:23. 21:06 Sin brings death. 21:07 And that's what Satan sowed when he came into the world. 21:12 But what was God's response? 21:14 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, 21:17 that whosoever believeth in Him 21:19 should not perish, but have everlasting life." 21:22 John 3:16. 21:24 Jesus would die for our sins. 21:27 The eternal Son of God would experience death 21:29 so that we could experience everlasting life. 21:33 Sin is so deadly, 21:35 but God's love for you is so great that divinity was prepared 21:40 to go to a cross so that you might live. 21:44 There is a Savior today, and the enemy knows that. 21:47 He wants you to forget that, wants you to be distracted, 21:51 to forget God, to get too busy to pray. 21:54 You know, in the parable of the sower, 21:56 seed fell on four different types of ground. 21:59 There was good ground. 22:00 There was also seed that fell on the wayside, 22:03 another kind of ground. 22:05 But then there was seed that fell in shallow soil. 22:08 Remember that there was seed that fell among thorns. 22:11 And what was that? You can do it. 25:05 Don't let anyone stop you." 25:06 But the enemy of souls wraps sin up in the most attractive way. 25:12 Alcohol is sophisticated somehow. 25:15 Drugs are seen as cool. 25:18 Rebellion is freedom of expression. 25:21 Immorality is empowerment. 25:23 The killing of infants is an individual's right to choose. 25:28 You see what's going on? 25:29 We've been reprogrammed without even realizing. 25:33 The times are changing, and our attitude towards God and faith 25:36 and the Bible is changing, too. 25:39 Coincidence? 25:40 No way. 25:41 It's a massive global conspiracy. 25:45 And if you're not vigilant, 25:47 you're caught up in every last bit of it. 25:51 So where's the way out? 25:53 Well, God is the way out.
