03:38 Go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised. 03:41 They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain 03:44 by the sword, she is delivered to the sword, 03:47 draw her and all her multitudes. 03:51 The strong among the mighty shall speak to him 03:53 out of the midst of hell with them that help him, 03:55 they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, 03:59 slain by the sword. 04:02 Asshur is there and all her company, 04:04 his graves are about him, all of them slain, 04:07 fallen by the sword. 04:10 Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, 04:12 and her company is round about her grave, 04:16 all of them slain, fallen by the sword, 04:18 which caused terror in the land of the living. 04:22 There is Elam and all her multitude 04:23 round about her grave, all of them slain, 04:26 fallen by the sword, 04:28 which are gone down uncircumcised 04:30 into the nether parts of the earth, 04:32 which caused their terror in the land of the living, 04:35 yet have they borne their shame with them 04:37 that go down to the pit. 04:39 They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain 04:41 with all her multitude, 04:43 her graves are round about him, 04:46 all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, 04:49 though their terror was caused 04:51 in the land of the living, 04:52 yet have they borne their shame with them 04:54 that go down to the pit, 04:56 he is put in the midst of them that be slain. 04:59 There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude, 05:03 her graves are round about him, 05:04 all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, 05:07 though they caused their terror 05:09 in the land of the living. 05:11 And they shall not lie with the mighty 05:13 that are fallen of the uncircumcised, 05:15 which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war, 05:18 and they have laid their swords 05:19 under their heads, 05:20 but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, 05:23 though they were the terror of the mighty 05:26 in the land of the living. 05:28 Yea, thou shalt be broken 05:29 in the midst of the uncircumcised, 05:31 and shalt lie with them that are slain with the sword. 05:35 There is Edom, her kings, and all her princes, 05:39 which with their might are laid by them 05:42 that were slain by the sword, 05:44 they shall lie with the uncircumcised, 05:45 and with them that go down to the pit. 05:49 There be the princes of the north, 05:50 all of them, and all the Zidonians, 05:52 which are gone down with the slain, 05:55 with their terror they are ashamed of their might, 05:58 and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain 06:01 by the sword, 06:02 and bear their shame with them 06:04 that go down to the pit. 06:06 Pharaoh shall see them, 06:09 and shall be comforted over all his multitude, 06:11 even Pharaoh and all his army slain 06:13 by the sword, saith the Lord God. 06:16 For I have caused my terror in the land of the living, 06:20 and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised 06:23 with them that are slain with the sword, 06:25 even Pharaoh and all his multitude, 06:27 saith the Lord God." 06:30 Continuing in the Book of Ezekiel Chapter 33, 06:34 and this is the King James Version. 06:38 "Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 06:41 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, 06:44 and say unto them, 06:45 When I bring the sword upon a land, 06:48 if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, 06:52 and set him for their watchman. 06:54 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, 06:57 he blow the trumpet, and warn the people. 07:00 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, 07:03 and taketh not warning, if the sword come, 07:06 and take him away, 07:07 his blood shall be upon his own head. 07:09 He heard the sound of the trumpet, 07:10 and took not warning, his blood shall be upon him. 07:14 But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. 07:19 But if the watchman see the sword come, 07:22 and blow not the trumpet, 07:24 and the people be not warned, 07:27 if the sword come, 07:28 and take any person from among them, 07:30 he is taken away in his iniquity, 07:33 but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. 07:38 So thou, O son of man, 07:41 I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel, 07:44 therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, 07:47 and warn them from me. 07:50 When I say unto the wicked, 07:52 O wicked man, thou shalt surely die, 07:55 if thou dost not speak to warn 07:57 the wicked from his way, 07:59 that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, 08:01 but his blood will I require at thine hand. 08:06 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way 08:09 to turn from it, 08:11 if he do not turn from his way, 08:14 he shall die in his iniquity, 08:16 but thou hast delivered thy soul. 08:20 Therefore, O thou son of man, 08:21 speak unto the house of Israel, 08:24 Thus ye speak, saying, 08:26 If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, 08:30 and we pine away in them, how should we then live? 08:36 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, 08:38 I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, 08:42 but that the wicked turn from his way and live, 08:45 turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways, 08:48 for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 08:51 Therefore, thou son of man, 08:53 say unto the children of thy people, 08:55 The righteousness of the righteous 08:57 shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression, 09:01 as for the wickedness of the wicked, 09:03 he shall not fall thereby in the day 09:05 that he turneth from his wickedness, 09:08 neither shall the righteous be able to live 09:09 for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. 09:12 When I shall say to the righteous, 09:14 that he shall surely live, 09:17 if he trust to his own righteousness, 09:19 and commit iniquity, 09:21 all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered, 09:24 but for his iniquity that he hath committed, 09:26 he shall die for it. 09:28 Again, when I say unto the wicked, 09:30 Thou shalt surely die, 09:32 if he turned away from his sin, 09:35 and do that which is lawful and right. 09:38 If the wicked restore the pledge, 09:41 give again that he had robbed, 09:43 walk in the statutes of life, 09:45 without committing iniquity, 09:47 he shall surely live, he shall not die. 09:51 None of his sins that he hath committed 09:53 shall be mentioned unto him, 09:56 he hath done that which is lawful and right, 09:58 he shall surely live. 10:01 Yet the children of thy people say, 10:03 The way of the Lord is not equal, 10:06 but as for them, their way is not equal. 10:09 When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, 10:11 and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby. 10:15 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, 10:19 and do that which is lawful and right, 10:22 he shall live thereby. 10:24 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. 10:28 O ye house of Israel, 10:31 I will judge you every one after his ways. 10:36 And it came to pass in the twelfth year 10:38 of our captivity, in the tenth month, 10:41 in the fifth day of the month, 10:43 that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem 10:46 came unto me, saying, The city is smitten. 10:51 Now the hand of the Lord was upon me 10:53 in the evening, 10:54 afore he that was escaped came, 10:57 and had opened my mouth, 10:58 until he came to me in the morning, 10:59 and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb. 11:02 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 11:05 Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes 11:08 of the land of Israel speak, saying, 11:11 Abraham was one, and he inherited the land, 11:15 but we are many, 11:16 the land is given us for inheritance. 11:19 Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God, 11:23 Ye eat with the blood, 11:25 and lift up your eyes toward your idols, 11:27 and shed blood, and shall ye possess the land? 11:32 Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, 11:34 and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife, 11:38 and shall ye possess the land? 11:41 Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord God, 11:45 As I live, surely they that are in the wastes 11:49 shall fall by the sword, 11:51 and him that is in the open field 11:52 will I give to the beasts to be devoured, 11:55 and they that be in the forts 11:56 and in the caves shall die of the pestilence. 12:00 For I will lay the land most desolate, 12:02 and the pomp of her strength shall cease, 12:05 and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, 12:07 that none shall pass through. 12:10 Then shall they know that I am the Lord, 12:13 when I have laidthe land most desolate 12:15 because of all their abominations 12:17 which they have committed. 12:19 Also, thou son of man, 12:21 the children of thy people still are talking 12:24 against thee by the walls 12:25 and in the doors of the houses, 12:27 and speak one to another, every one to his brother, 12:30 saying, Come, I pray you, 12:32 and hear what is the word 12:33 that cometh forth from the Lord. 12:35 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, 12:37 and they sit before thee as my people, 12:39 and they hear thy words, but they will not do them, 12:42 for with their mouth they show much love, 12:46 but their heart goeth after their covetousness. 12:50 And, lo, thou art unto them 12:52 as a very lovely song of one 12:55 that hath a pleasant voice, 12:57 and can play well on an instrument, 13:00 for they hear thy words, but they do them not. 13:04 And when this cometh to pass, 13:06 lo, it will come, 13:08 then shall they know that a prophet 13:11 hath been among them." 13:13 Continuing with Ezekiel Chapter 24, 13:15 and this is the King James Version. 13:18 "And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 13:20 Son of man, prophesy against 13:22 the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, 13:24 and say unto them, 13:25 Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds, 13:29 Woe be to the shepherds of Israel 13:31 that do feed themselves, 13:34 should not the shepherds feed the flocks? 13:37 Ye eat the fat, 13:38 and ye clothe you with the wool, 13:40 ye kill them that are fed, but ye feed not the flock. 13:44 The diseased have ye not strengthened, 13:45 neither have ye healed that which was sick, 13:47 neither have ye bound up that which was broken, 13:50 neither have ye brought again that 13:52 which was driven away, 13:54 neither have ye sought that which was lost, 13:58 but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. 14:01 And they were scattered, 14:03 because there is no shepherd, 14:06 and they became meat 14:08 to all the beasts of the field, 14:10 when they were scattered. 14:12 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, 14:15 and upon every high hill, 14:18 yea, my flock was scattered 14:21 upon all the face of the earth, 14:23 and none did search or seek after them." 14:28 Thank you for joining with me today 14:30 to read the word of the Lord. 14:32 Please, join with me again next time 14:34 as we continue to read 14:35 about the shepherd's of Israel. 14:38 Good bye. |
