00:30 Hello, friends, my name is Chef Chew
00:32 and as I always say,
00:33 "Gonna give you something to chew on."
00:36 Well, we've come to day number 21
00:38 of the Chew's Challenge, 28 days to wellness.
00:41 And, friends, we've been having so much fun.
00:44 We've been having so much fun that I say today
00:46 is gonna be even more fun
00:48 because we got some good delicious recipes
00:50 that we're gonna be sharing with you.
00:51 And how're you doing, Chef Law? How're you doing, Chef?
00:53 How're you guys doing out there?
00:54 I tell you, man, we got some real special today, brother.
00:56 This looks good.
00:57 Now I know, you like peanut butter, right?
00:59 I'm a peanut butter man.
01:00 Come on, you are a peanut butter man, right?
01:01 Hey, let's go.
01:03 You said, you eat like four peanut butter jelly sandwiches
01:04 at one time.
01:06 I can't eat four, you know, I don't always eat four,
01:07 I can eat a couple.
01:08 All right now, all right now.
01:10 But listen, we're gonna be making something I like to call
01:11 a no-bake peanut butter carob balls, okay?
01:14 No-bake peanut butter carob balls.
01:15 That's exactly right.
01:17 And we're gonna make a few of them.
01:18 So we're gonna have about six or seven different bowls
01:19 that we're gonna have.
01:21 And I'm eating all of them, I don't know about you.
01:22 Okay.
01:24 You might not get any this one, man, so eats four,
01:25 four of the peanut butter jelly sandwiches.
01:26 Little bit of mine though, little bit of mine though.
01:28 But I'm gonna to leave as a gift, right.
01:29 Okay, okay, all right.
01:30 Why don't you go ahead and read the recipe for us if you can.
01:32 All right, let's read the recipe
01:33 and see what we're working today.
01:34 We have:
01:51 We got a really special ingredient
01:53 that we haven't actually used yet.
01:54 What's that? And I gotta bring it out, man.
01:56 You see that ingredient right there,
01:57 what's that called right there, Chef Law?
01:59 These are carob chips. Come on, what's?
02:01 And if you don't mind, I'm gonna take one right now.
02:03 Come on now, come on now, Chef Law.
02:04 So right here we, friends,
02:05 we have our carob chips right here.
02:07 And these are excellent
02:08 because this is a good substitute for chocolate.
02:10 Some chocolates that you find that they're caffeinated,
02:13 and so we wanna get something that doesn't have the caffeine,
02:15 Better than caffeine.
02:16 And so again, it's a good substitute
02:17 for your chocolate chips and so forth.
02:20 One of the best tasting substitutes
02:21 for chocolate chips. Exactly, and it also...
02:23 It has the same flavor feel.
02:25 Exactly, and doesn't have the dairy as well.
02:26 A lot of the chocolates again, to make the chocolate,
02:29 they have a dairy inside of it as well.
02:30 So this is a really healthy version of chocolate chips.
02:32 What we're gonna do right now, we have the granola,
02:35 and we have to actually blend a couple of the granola,
02:37 and the other cup, we're gonna keep whole, okay.
02:40 So let's go ahead and do that, okay.
02:41 All right, go ahead and blend a couple of the granola.
02:43 I'm gonna go ahead right here and put some of this
02:44 real inside the blender.
02:46 It's really done, really quickly.
02:47 And we're gonna, almost what happens
02:49 when we blend this up, granola, if you know how granola,
02:51 when granola gets, when you make oatmeal,
02:54 granola has kind of like a nice,
02:56 I won't say slimy but it can get slimy.
02:58 You follow, where I'm coming from.
02:59 So granola, reason why I'm blending it up,
03:01 it's gonna actually give it a extra binding power.
03:03 If you've done mixing this. Act like a binding agent.
03:04 Exactly, so we kinda in essence making flour,
03:06 does that make sense?
03:07 Yeah, that makes sense. All right.
03:09 Granola flour. Exactly, really simple.
03:11 Just like that, doesn't take long.
03:17 All right, voila.
03:18 We're done.
03:20 Just like that. So we got our granola flour.
03:22 Blended granola. Exactly.
03:23 So we're gonna put that right inside of there.
03:25 Okay. Really simple.
03:26 Go ahead and put the granola inside of that if you can.
03:28 Sauce that in there, all right.
03:30 Really simple to do, friends,
03:31 all you're doing is mixing the few ingredients,
03:33 this is a no-bake recipe,
03:34 so you don't have to do any baking.
03:35 So it's gonna be really, really easy to do.
03:37 So what we're gonna do, throw our carob chips in here.
03:39 Yes, indeed.
03:40 All right, and then we have some walnuts.
03:41 You're gonna have to have you chop the walnuts if you can?
03:43 All right, let's do it.
03:44 You don't mind doing that for me if you can?
03:45 I'll get the chopping. All right.
03:47 so he has the walnuts here
03:48 he's gonna chop those up finely.
03:50 And then what we have over here,
03:51 we have a few other ingredients.
03:52 We have our peanut butter, we have our molasses,
03:54 and we have our vanilla.
03:55 And so we're gonna toss the peanut butter
03:56 and it's not all of the molasses
03:58 but some of the molasses
03:59 we're gonna toss into this pan and also the vanilla.
04:01 So again, we're gonna toss this right into our pan here.
04:04 And this is gonna kind of get this, so it won't be too,
04:07 I guess, too fix,
04:09 so it'll be easy to mix all of this together.
04:11 Okay.
04:12 So how you coming over there, Chef Law?
04:13 We're going good. All right, all right.
04:15 Just chopping away.
04:16 Let me turn this heat up if I can.
04:17 All right, turn the heat up. Let me turn the heat up.
04:19 Okay. Let's get this going.
04:21 There we go, there we go.
04:23 All right, so I'm gonna hit those
04:24 and toss some molasses, I'm not gonna do all of it.
04:26 It's enough to kind of add
04:27 a little bit of lubrication to this.
04:29 So it won't be too thick as I'm stirring this up.
04:32 I'm gonna toss some vanilla inside of here as well
04:34 for the nice granola flavor.
04:35 Okay, that's good. How're we looking right there?
04:36 Come on now. Oh, well, friends...
04:38 We're gonna chop them up. This is going to be delicious.
04:40 You don't want them too small, 'cause you want that crunch.
04:42 Exactly, you want that, now you want that chew, man,
04:44 you know how it is. Okay.
04:45 You wanna get that chew. Come on now.
04:47 You gotta get it right now, Chef Law.
04:49 All right, there we go.
04:51 So just gonna move this out of the way now.
04:53 All right, so this is gonna stir up,
04:55 I'm gonna stir this up right here.
04:57 It's coming together really well.
04:59 And you don't want this too high,
05:00 don't want it too high.
05:03 Turn that down just a little bit.
05:04 Oh, that's looking really good, looking really good.
05:07 All right, so I'm gonna go ahead as well,
05:09 all you want is really get this warm, okay?
05:11 Okay.
05:12 All right, so I'm gonna go ahead now
05:14 and toss this inside of here.
05:15 All right, toss that. Oh, that looks really good.
05:18 Come on now. Oh, it looks nice.
05:19 Come on now, y'all. This is gonna be delicious.
05:22 Let me get that spatula if I can?
05:24 All right, go and take that if you can?
05:25 There you go. Turn this off.
05:27 All right, go ahead, can you get the rest of that out,
05:29 if you don't mind?
05:31 All right, get the rest of that out if you can?
05:35 That's what I'm talking.
05:36 Throw little bit of these almonds inside of here,
05:39 just like that.
05:40 Go and put that together and mix it all together
05:42 if you can, if you don't mind please?
05:44 It's gonna be really delicious, y'all.
05:45 Come on now. That's all we're gonna do.
05:47 You're gonna go ahead and mix all that together
05:48 if you can, Law?
05:50 All right.
05:51 Right here, you're gonna mix that together for us,
05:53 I'm gonna clean our area up here.
05:54 Get everything ready to go.
05:56 We wanna make these carob balls,
05:57 it's gonna look so delicious, friends, so delicious.
06:00 All right, clean up some of this area,
06:03 we wanted to look really nice, wanna look really nice.
06:06 All right, how's it coming, Chef Law?
06:08 It's coming good. All right, now.
06:09 Can you get your hands in there,
06:10 go get your hands in there, we got to go ahead
06:12 and finish this up really quickly here.
06:13 And one thing I wanna make note of, Chef Law,
06:14 if sometimes if it doesn't bind well,
06:16 you can add a few extra tablespoons
06:18 of a peanut butter, okay.
06:19 So are we ready now, then go and mix it up,
06:21 just try and see if we get.
06:23 And friends out there, as he's mixing
06:24 and making the balls, you can eat this for dessert.
06:26 It's an excellent dessert addition to your meal
06:29 very, very, very delicious.
06:31 So go... Is it ready to go, Chef Law?
06:32 It's ready. Come on now.
06:33 Let me, let me. Oh, look. You see how, ooh, come on.
06:35 You get one for yourself, Chef Law?
06:37 Yes, indeed.
06:38 So just form into a little ball just like this,
06:39 and it's really simple,
06:41 serve it to the kids, to the family, to the friends.
06:43 And I think, we're just gonna enjoy a nice little ball.
06:52 Well, we just had an exciting time
06:53 in the kitchen.
06:55 And now we've come to the "F."
06:56 And the "F", you know, what it talks about,
06:58 the "F" is talking about Faith.
07:00 And understand this,
07:02 we're talking today about looking unto Jesus
07:04 who is the author and the finisher of,
07:07 guess what?
07:08 Our faith.
07:10 So today, we're gonna understand
07:11 that there is one who obviously is gonna help us to start,
07:14 and He's one who's also gonna help us to, guess what?
07:17 Finish. And you know who it is. His name is Jesus.
07:20 And Jesus again is the answer.
07:23 And I got my good friend Chef Law.
07:24 What's going on, Chef Law? How're you doing, Chef?
07:25 How're you guys doing out there?
07:27 So we're talking today, man, about looking unto, who?
07:29 To Christ. Looking unto Christ.
07:30 Come on now.
07:32 Now today, we're about to talk about
07:33 the secret of Christian power.
07:35 Woo!
07:36 This is one of the secrets of Christian powers.
07:37 So if you ever wondered how Christians get their power?
07:41 How, why are they still happy? Why are they still joyful?
07:43 Or why they should be... Come on now.
07:45 We're about to talk about it today.
07:46 Let's look at it, man. Let's talk about it.
07:47 The verse is found in Hebrews 12:2.
07:50 Amen.
07:51 And it says, "Looking unto Jesus
07:53 the author and finisher of our faith,
07:56 who for the joy that was set before him
07:58 endured the cross, despising the shame,
08:01 and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
08:06 That's loaded right there, bro.
08:07 That is less loaded. It's loaded.
08:09 So go ahead and unpack it for us.
08:10 What are we talking about, man?
08:12 All right, so that verse start and says, Jesus is the author.
08:13 He's the beginner
08:15 and He's the finisher of our faith.
08:16 Of our faith.
08:17 And what's beautiful about that verse is,
08:19 that word R is supply.
08:20 It's not in the original text. Okay.
08:22 So it should read, Jesus is the author
08:24 and finisher of faith.
08:26 I like that. Come on now.
08:27 Not just our faith but other's fate so,
08:29 anytime you begin to have faith in God
08:31 and cry out to call Jesus, He was the author.
08:34 He started writing that. Come on now.
08:35 He pushed through, force that limit as it were,
08:38 give glory to God.
08:39 Then He say, He's gonna also do what?
08:40 He's gonna finish it. He's gonna finish it.
08:42 Come on now.
08:43 So he began it your life with Christ.
08:45 He began it and He's the one that's going to finish it now.
08:48 So once you're in Christ, you don't have to worry.
08:51 Trials may come, temptations may come,
08:53 tribulation may come,
08:54 but once you decide to walk all the way with Jesus,
08:57 He has a promise that He's gonna finish it
09:00 just the way He finished it.
09:01 We're gonna talk about that a little bit later.
09:03 Come on now, and, friends, I tell you,
09:04 it is a powerful thing once you understand this concept
09:07 because again you started this 28 day journey.
09:09 We are moving right along and you started in Christ.
09:12 We talked about, we wanna be in Christ.
09:14 And if you start in Christ, remember,
09:16 anything you do in life, He will always,
09:19 if it's according to His will,
09:20 He will always help you to finish it.
09:22 And we know that this is obviously
09:24 according to His will because Christ says
09:25 this above all things, He wants us to be in help.
09:28 So what else we got, Chef Law?
09:29 So Jesus is the author and finisher.
09:31 He wants us to know this
09:33 because He wants us to keep our eyes on Him.
09:35 Come on now.
09:37 Now with what you listen to
09:39 and what you watch is what has your attention.
09:40 Right.
09:42 Your brain loves to eat as well.
09:45 It's constantly getting fed. That's right, exactly.
09:47 And one of the main ways your brain gets fed
09:48 is by where you focus your attention on,
09:50 by what you look at, and by what you see.
09:52 Come on now, well, I guess, what we look at
09:53 is what we become.
09:55 What you become. That's true.
09:56 Okay. What you become.
09:57 And so the secret of the Christian power,
09:59 the secret of the Christian life that their mind...
10:00 Come on now.
10:02 Come on now, their mind is always focused on Christ,
10:05 their attention is always focused on Him.
10:07 So no matter what's happening down here, down here,
10:10 their attention is on Jesus now.
10:12 Looking above.
10:14 So watch this now, don't look at yourself
10:16 for what you're doing that's so wrong.
10:18 Don't look at your sins and hang on them.
10:20 The only reason God wants to show you how bad you are,
10:24 and so you can know how good He is.
10:26 Come on now.
10:27 The only reason He wants to show you
10:29 how dirty you are is 'cause He wants to clean.
10:30 Come on now.
10:32 The only way He wants to show you
10:33 how unloving you are
10:34 is because He wants to fill you with His love.
10:36 He wants to show you how empty you are
10:37 so He can feel you up... Looking unto Christ.
10:39 With the power of His spirit. Come on now.
10:40 You got to keep your eyes focused on Christ
10:43 and there's a special particular reason,
10:45 you got to keep your eyes focused on.
10:46 Come on now, and, friends,
10:48 as Chef Law was sharing here, he's saying,
10:49 "Listen, look unto Christ."
10:50 And at the end of that verse, it talks about
10:52 how Christ endured the shame, He died on that cross.
10:56 Yes.
10:57 And you have to recognize at the cross came power.
10:59 And when Christ died, it didn't stop there,
11:02 Christ died but He also guess what,
11:05 on that third day?
11:06 Christ resurrected. Resurrected.
11:08 Come on now. Praise the Lord.
11:10 Rose again. Rose again.
11:11 In the power of the spirit. Come on now. That's right.
11:13 And so, friends, understand this,
11:14 on that third day whatever day, we're on what?
11:16 What day are we on, Chef Law?
11:18 All right, we don't remember, it doesn't even matter.
11:19 It only matter what day we're on.
11:21 All I know is you're talking about the third day.
11:22 Come on now, Christ arose and today we can arise.
11:25 And on day 28, we can rise, on day 29, we can rise.
11:28 Amen.
11:29 On day 30, on day 1000, whatever day ends up,
11:32 you can rise and you can be in the power of Christ.
11:35 So, friends, we want you to understand this,
11:37 Christ is everything,
11:39 He is our all, He is the answer.
11:41 Keep your eyes fixed upon Him
11:43 and know that there will be power.
11:45 Power that will be everlasting
11:46 and that power is gonna be so powerful,
11:48 that one day you're gonna be with Him forever.
11:51 And we all wanna be there.
11:59 Hello, friends, we come right along.
12:00 We're moving right to the "O" in the FORK system.
12:03 And the "O" stands for Organization.
12:06 Today, we're talking about something
12:07 that you don't want to miss.
12:09 We're talking about buying by the ounce.
12:10 And I have my good buddy here Chef Law.
12:12 What's going on, Chef Law? How're you, Chef?
12:13 How're you guys doing out there?
12:14 Let me ask you the question, Chef Law.
12:16 All right.
12:17 How long have you been married, Chef Law?
12:18 I've been married for two years.
12:20 Now you happily married, right? Happily married.
12:21 Come on now, say it loud now brother.
12:22 Very happily married. Come on now.
12:24 You got to be excited about that now.
12:25 So let me ask you a question,
12:27 now he was teasing me a few weeks ago.
12:28 I have to say, if you would, maybe I don't know
12:29 when it was exactly but you talked about
12:31 how I had another wife.
12:33 Did you say that or did I say that?
12:34 I think, you said you had another wife.
12:36 Now hold on, I don't think I said that.
12:37 But if I said that, I didn't mean to say that,
12:39 because I think we both are happily married...
12:41 Happily married. With one wife.
12:43 Amen. That's Amen, that's right.
12:44 So you ever go shopping with your wife?
12:45 Yeah, all the time. All the time, right.
12:47 Now I go shopping
12:48 with my lovely wife Chef Chew as well.
12:50 And sometimes, we have a little time together,
12:53 if you follow where I'm coming from, right?
12:54 Okay, yeah.
12:56 And so, what we find is that,
12:57 we try to bargain price if that make sense.
12:58 Oh, yeah.
13:00 You know, some people like to save little labels
13:01 and coupons and stuff and they get the rewards
13:03 and all that kind of stuff.
13:05 But one thing, I don't get into all of that,
13:07 I like to buy by the ounce if that make some sense, okay.
13:09 Okay.
13:10 So when you go in the store, you're gonna find in the aisle,
13:12 you're gonna see a little tag, okay.
13:13 All right.
13:15 And it's gonna tell you the price of the item,
13:16 so right here we got some barbecue sauce, right?
13:18 Right.
13:19 It might say the barbecue sauce A is 225
13:21 for the bottle of barbecue sauce, right?
13:23 Right.
13:24 Then barbecue sauce B is $3 for the barbecue sauce.
13:27 Three dollars.
13:28 Okay, and they're the same size.
13:29 So that makes sense. Same size.
13:31 It has a same amount of ounces, this has 12 ounces, okay.
13:32 Okay.
13:33 So sometimes, you're gonna find that when barbecue sauce A
13:36 and barbecue sauce B are the same ounce,
13:38 and it has different prices, one of them has
13:40 a what, higher, what?
13:42 Higher price per ounce. There you go.
13:43 One of them has a... Higher price per ounce.
13:45 Okay, so there you go.
13:46 So most of the times what we will say is that,
13:48 I would look at the ounce and I would say well,
13:50 the one that's cheaper right, has a cheaper ounce price,
13:53 you're gonna go with which one?
13:54 Okay, I'm gonna go with the cheaper price.
13:55 Exactly, it makes more sense, right?
13:57 Save so much. Yes, indeed.
13:58 But what you're gonna find sometimes
14:00 in following that rule,
14:01 sometimes it might not be the, what?
14:02 The best quality.
14:04 The best quality. The best quality.
14:05 So it might not be the best quality.
14:06 Now so sometimes, even buying by the ounce,
14:08 even though it might be cheaper,
14:10 the quality might not be the best.
14:12 And so, what you're gonna find, I guess, in foods,
14:14 you're gonna find, you got the good,
14:15 the better and the what?
14:17 And the best. The best.
14:18 You follow where I'm coming from.
14:20 Right, okay.
14:21 And so I like to give a simple principle that goes like this.
14:22 You have the shop according to your good, better, and best.
14:25 So meaning, give it,
14:27 break it down a little more further,
14:28 there's organic produce and there is what?
14:30 Non-organic.
14:31 Non-organic produce, some of us can afford to buy, guess what?
14:33 Organic produce. Organic produce.
14:35 And obviously, is it healthier? It's healthier and better.
14:37 It's probably the best that you probably can get.
14:40 And why I want to say it's the best,
14:41 the best you can do is probably go outside and plant a tree
14:44 and waiting for that thing to get ripe on that tree.
14:45 Grow your own food.
14:47 That's the best kind of way to do it.
14:48 Okay, but some again, the non-organic,
14:50 obviously may not be as healthy,
14:52 but if you can afford to pay $4 a pound for the tomatoes,
14:56 I'm not gonna get upset at you,
14:57 you follow where I'm coming from.
14:59 I mean, I'm gonna be in it, just like you buy them
15:00 $1 per pound tomatoes.
15:02 What do you think about that, Chef Law?
15:03 I hear you.
15:04 So, but if you can afford the $4 a pound
15:06 for the tomatoes,
15:07 you know, the ounce price might be 80 cents per ounce
15:10 and one might be 36 pounds,
15:11 you gotta do what's best for you.
15:13 But the most important thing is this, when you shop,
15:16 it is a matter of prayer.
15:17 God says, in all things what?
15:19 We should do what?
15:21 We should pray. We should pray.
15:22 Amen, we should pray. Pray without ceasing.
15:24 Pray without ceasing. That's it.
15:25 So when it comes to shopping, you have to pray because again,
15:28 I can't always share with you,
15:29 I'm not always gonna be with you,
15:30 Chef Law won't always be with you,
15:32 but one person who always would be with you...
15:34 Jesus. Amen.
15:35 Jesus so... And you can take Him shopping.
15:36 You can take Him shopping.
15:38 I've done it, He'll tell you what to buy and what not.
15:39 Exactly.
15:40 So again, we're learning on this whole process.
15:42 Sometimes again, you might can't buy the best quality,
15:44 but sometimes you don't wanna buy something that's unhealthy.
15:46 So again, pray to the Lord,
15:47 He gives you wisdom and seek the shop by the ounce.
15:56 Well, friends,
15:57 we've come to the "R" in the FORK system.
15:59 You know, what the "R" stands for?
16:00 The "R" stands for Recipe.
16:03 And today this is a favorite.
16:04 I'm telling you a home style favorite,
16:06 we're making the delicious mac and cheese casserole.
16:10 And I got my good buddy, Chef Law,
16:12 what's happening, Chef Law?
16:13 How're you doing, Chef?
16:14 How're you guys doing out there?
16:16 Well, friends, I tell you,
16:17 this is one that I enjoy making.
16:18 It's a little bit of details inside of it,
16:20 but it's something I tell you,
16:21 once you get these secrets down,
16:23 you're gonna make a mac and cheese,
16:24 it's gonna compete with all of people out there
16:26 who makes that regular dairy mac and cheese.
16:29 I tell you, my Mamma makes a good mac and cheese,
16:30 I don't about yours, Chef Law?
16:32 Well, my Mom, she's from North Carolina.
16:33 Come on now. So she handles her business.
16:34 Come on now.
16:36 And we're not to compete but, you know,
16:37 at times when it comes to Thanksgiving meal,
16:39 everybody has their good dish.
16:40 And, you know, you come with your,
16:42 you might come with your vegan mac and cheese,
16:43 and they're gonna be looking at you all strange
16:45 and they're gonna wonder how it's gonna taste.
16:47 But I tell you, this is gonna taste some kind of good.
16:48 It's gonna taste good. That's right, that's right.
16:50 So let's get started. All right.
16:51 We're gonna show you all
16:53 how to make a simple vegan cheese sauce.
16:54 Really simple to do,
16:55 but what we're gonna do, we're gonna go ahead,
16:57 and what's the ingredients, Chef Law?
16:58 All right, for the vegan cheese sauce,
17:00 we want:
17:09 All right. Well, let's go ahead and make it happen.
17:11 All right, let's blend it up.
17:12 All right, so we're gonna do,
17:13 we're gonna go ahead and blend up
17:15 and we got some cooked carrots.
17:16 Cooked carrots.
17:17 Now I'm gonna blend them up, okay.
17:19 And what you wanna do is add just a little bit of water,
17:20 okay, until it kind of get like a baby food texture,
17:22 you know what I'm saying.
17:23 Okay, right. All right.
17:24 So again, you was telling me,
17:26 your daughter loves mac and cheese.
17:27 She loves mac and cheese. Come on now.
17:28 She'll eat a whole pan of it.
17:30 Come on now. I love it.
17:31 She eat it every day. Okay.
17:32 All right, mash it up. Okay.
17:35 Like that. That's all we need.
17:37 I'm gonna throw this into the water.
17:39 More water or you want it like that?
17:40 That's all we need. Okay.
17:41 We're gonna blend it one last time actually.
17:43 Okay.
17:44 So we got the carrots blended, all right.
17:45 Then we have the cashews here. Cashews.
17:47 One cup of cashews,
17:49 we're gonna do about one cup of water, all right.
17:51 All right. So about one cup of water.
17:54 There you go. A little bit more, all right.
17:56 So we're gonna do is kind of make like a,
17:58 almost like a cashew's cream.
17:59 That's a cashew's cream.
18:03 It'll take about 30 seconds. Okay.
18:07 All right.
18:11 Now what I'm gonna do is add this right into here.
18:15 Just right here?
18:16 Yep, throw this right inside here,
18:17 that's all we got to do.
18:19 Now go and put that inside of there for me.
18:22 All right, so, now, we're gonna go ahead
18:23 and blend this rest of this out, okay.
18:25 All right.
18:28 So there you go.
18:31 Cheese sauce. That's it.
18:36 All right.
18:42 All right, there we go. Okay.
18:43 All right, so that's it, okay. All right.
18:45 We got our cheese sauce here.
18:46 Nice cheese sauce.
18:48 Nice and creamy. Nice and creamy.
18:49 So we're gonna put this to the side till we get ready
18:51 for the last parts of our recipe.
18:52 All right.
18:53 So next we gotta do, go ahead now,
18:55 we got a few other ingredients, we're gonna go ahead.
18:56 Can you go ahead and read that for us, Chef Law?
18:57 Okay, let's look at the other ingredients.
18:59 We have:
19:26 All right, so let's go ahead
19:28 and get it really quickly, okay?
19:29 Go ahead and dice those mushrooms up for me
19:30 if you can please?
19:32 I'm gonna, while he's dicing the mushrooms,
19:33 I'm gonna go ahead and put the flour here
19:35 and some water,
19:37 we're gonna make kinda like a gravy right here, okay.
19:39 Really easy to do, just like that.
19:42 Pot is already hot, making a nice gravy, okay.
19:46 Just like this.
19:47 I'm gonna go ahead and add my milk in here.
19:49 I'm gonna add my milk, just like that.
19:54 All right.
19:58 All right, a little oil here. Okay.
20:00 All right, so what we have right here?
20:03 Go ahead and add the mushrooms in the pan if you can?
20:05 Okay.
20:06 All right, so it's nice and thick.
20:07 I'm gonna turn this down,
20:09 go and add the mushrooms right here.
20:11 All right.
20:12 Just like that, that's all I need.
20:14 Okay, that's okay.
20:15 So we're gonna get these sauteing here, friends.
20:17 So we got
20:19 the mushroom gravy getting started here,
20:21 got some butter we gonna add to this.
20:23 Okay. All right.
20:26 You want some more butter? Don't be stingy on the butter.
20:28 Come on, you pull in the butter there if you can, Chef Law.
20:29 Put some more butter in there.
20:31 All right. That's right.
20:32 All right.
20:36 And sometimes, it's little too thick,
20:38 you might have to add little more water.
20:39 You might add little more water to this,
20:41 it's little too thick, just a little more water.
20:44 So I say, sometimes if it's little too thick,
20:46 add little more water, that's all you have to do.
20:48 So what we're gonna do now?
20:49 Little seasoning here, little seasoning.
20:53 Season goes right in the dish like that.
20:56 All right.
20:58 So go ahead and saute it up right there for me, Chef Law,
21:00 if you can?
21:02 All right.
21:03 All right, like that.
21:05 All right.
21:07 So we're looking really good, friends, looking really good.
21:10 All right, little more water.
21:14 All right.
21:16 So what we're gonna do now,
21:17 let that go ahead and simmer right there.
21:19 Cook for a little bit.
21:20 All right, so go ahead and move this out of the way if you can,
21:21 please?
21:23 Now we're gonna layer the mac and cheese.
21:25 Go ahead and get our casserole dish behind us if you can?
21:28 All right, the casserole dish right behind it.
21:30 Just go ahead and layer some noodles in there.
21:32 All right. I'll put some noodles in here.
21:36 Layer those noodles inside of that pan.
21:38 And so we got to move quickly, got to finish this up.
21:41 I got my creamy mushroom soup with my mushroom
21:43 inside of my gravy here.
21:45 All right, so we got our cheese sauce here,
21:47 I'm gonna put the cheese sauce right inside of here.
21:49 All right, so we got our cheese sauce right there.
21:52 That's it, just like that. Okay.
21:53 And we got some sliced cheese, I'm gonna put on here as well.
21:55 Okay.
21:56 All right, some sliced cheese, just like that.
21:58 Go ahead and grab some more sliced cheese if you can?
22:00 I got my creamy mushroom soup,
22:01 I added my mushrooms into my gravy,
22:03 I'm gonna add that right inside of here too.
22:05 This is a secret recipe right here,
22:06 the secret ingredient, the mushroom right here
22:08 is gonna be really delicious, man.
22:11 Some kind of good.
22:12 All right, so go ahead and add some more noodles.
22:14 Okay. Add a little more cheese.
22:16 Come on now, Chef Law,
22:18 it's looking good, isn't it, brother?
22:19 Come on now. Looking good and smelling good.
22:20 So I'm gonna go ahead now
22:22 and put some more on top of here.
22:23 Okay.
22:24 All right, so go ahead and mix that up for me
22:26 if you can, okay?
22:27 Okay. All right.
22:29 I'm mixing here.
22:30 So you just mix it up just like that.
22:31 Oh, this is looking so good.
22:33 We have a finished product, Chef Law,
22:34 what we have here, man?
22:35 Oh, look at that right there, friends, you got to see this.
22:37 This is looking so delicious.
22:38 And I tell you, Chef Law,
22:39 your daughter will love this, wouldn't she?
22:41 Man, she eat that every weekend.
22:42 Oh, man. She's probably getting hungry.
22:44 So friends, make this when you can
22:45 and enjoy this delicious.
22:46 I'm saying delicious and this is gonna be
22:48 so, so some kind of good.
22:55 Well, friends, we've come to the close of day number 21.
22:59 I tell you, it's moving so fast.
23:01 We only have a few days left,
23:03 but we're gonna keep on pressing forward.
23:05 And so right now we have to end
23:06 and we're talking about this "K" in the FORK system.
23:08 Just a reminder, the "F" stands for Faith,
23:10 the "O" stands for Organization,
23:12 the "R" stands for Recipe,
23:14 and the "K" it stands for Knowledge.
23:17 So today, we're gonna go ahead and ask those questions,
23:20 I want you to put your thinking caps on.
23:22 And go ahead and let's see what we can learn today.
23:24 So I got my friend again Chef Law.
23:26 What's going on, Chef Law? What's going on, Chef?
23:27 How're you guys doing out there?
23:29 Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
23:30 Oh, go ahead and let's get started, man.
23:31 All right, let's roll right into it,
23:33 question number one:
23:34 Jesus is the person we need to keep our eyes on.
23:35 Is this true or is this false?
23:37 I like this question
23:39 because it says Jesus is the person
23:40 and you need to know that the Christian religion
23:43 is not just about a thought, or theology, or philosophy
23:45 but it's about a person.
23:47 Come on now. And that person was Jesus.
23:48 Jesus.
23:49 I tell you, man,
23:51 it just feels good thinking about it.
23:52 Come on now.
23:54 You know, what I mean 'cause,
23:55 obviously we want to keep our eyes on
23:56 one who's actually lived the life.
23:58 'Cause Christ came on the earth
23:59 and lived a life given us an example.
24:02 So yes, we should keep our eyes on Him.
24:04 And where is He at right now, Chef Law?
24:06 He's in the most holy place in the heavenly sanctuary.
24:08 Come on now. He's in the sanctuary above.
24:10 And now we can pray to Him and He can what?
24:11 He will answer our prayers. Answer our prayers.
24:13 Come on, that's good news, brother.
24:14 That's great news. Come on now.
24:15 That's great news.
24:17 Let's go to question number two.
24:18 Yes, sir. Yes, sir. All right.
24:20 Why is it important to read labels?
24:21 Now you have three choices, helps you to become a doctor,
24:24 you can learn the best foods to place in your body,
24:27 or C, gives you more knowledge about the food?
24:31 And that's the really, really interesting one.
24:33 It's a little bit tricky.
24:35 So, so what we're talking about here.
24:36 So what's the question again, break it now for us?
24:38 The question is, why should we read the labels?
24:40 Okay, so why do you think
24:42 we should read the labels, Chef Law?
24:44 Well, you got to go to school for about six, seven odd years
24:47 to become doctor, so I think, let me do that.
24:49 But you should read labels,
24:52 because it helps you to put
24:54 the most healthiest things in your body.
24:55 Exactly, so...
24:56 If you read the labels,
24:58 then you know what you're eating.
24:59 Know what you're eating.
25:00 Exactly so, the answer obviously is B.
25:02 But just to focus on this a little bit more is that,
25:03 we don't just read labels just to become intelligent.
25:05 You know, sometimes, we start learning health tips
25:07 and now we can learn more about something.
25:09 So then we feel that we have to go and tell everybody about it.
25:12 But remember that sometimes,
25:13 it can be a little much for some of our friends.
25:15 So remember, as you learn this wonderful information,
25:19 make sure you take it step by step,
25:20 as we're learning progressively,
25:22 also we got to remember,
25:24 Chef Law to be patient with those around us.
25:26 Not push some of the things that we're learning
25:28 as God is not pushing it upon us.
25:31 All right, I like that. That's it, man.
25:32 That's very good. Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
25:34 All right, question number three:
25:36 What makes the cheese yellow
25:38 in the mac and cheese casserole?
25:40 You got three choices. Come on now.
25:42 Is it, A, pimentos, B, carrots, or C, paprika?
25:46 Come on now.
25:47 I got a little daughter named Hanania.
25:49 Go ahead, right, right. She loves mac and cheese.
25:50 Come on, brother, mac and cheese, right.
25:51 That's her favorite food. That's right. That's right.
25:53 She's mac and cheese girl. Come on. There you go, man.
25:54 And you know, we like to say cheese.
25:56 So try it with me. Say, cheese. Cheese.
25:58 'Cause we spell cheese with a Z.
26:00 It makes a little bit more interesting
26:02 if you follow where I'm coming from.
26:03 That gives you a little bit of flavor.
26:04 Exactly, so, you know, when we're making cheese,
26:06 you make it from cashews.
26:07 And we had another ingredient
26:08 that we put inside of the cheese.
26:10 And sometimes, you can use ingredients like pimentos,
26:12 but we found that pimento sometimes
26:14 can be a little too expensive.
26:15 So we like to use carrots instead of the pimento.
26:18 So the answer is obviously it's the carrots.
26:20 And the carrots also we found gives it a nice smooth texture
26:24 and it also gives you, so you can see a little bit better.
26:27 You might have some eye problems,
26:28 so those who need some extra carrots for that vitamin A,
26:31 just know that you can add those carrots
26:33 and those cashews,
26:34 and you have a delicious, creamy,
26:36 I mean, this delicious creamy cheese sauce,
26:40 that you can just make right at home.
26:41 Isn't that exciting, Chef Law? It's exciting.
26:43 Come on now. And it was good.
26:44 That's right, that's right.
26:46 You know, they didn't get to taste it but it was good.
26:47 There you go, there you go.
26:48 So and the thing is that you can taste it, friends,
26:50 because you can take these recipes,
26:52 go in your home, and you can go in the kitchen,
26:55 and just start making those delicious foods.
26:58 And I tell you, when you begin to making these foods,
27:00 and you begin eating these foods,
27:02 you're gonna find it as you're gonna be chewing.
27:04 I'll not say chew, you know, someone chewing, right.
27:06 You're gonna be chewing that food up,
27:08 and you're gonna be feeling good, looking good,
27:10 and all of that good stuff, Chef Law.
27:11 All of that good stuff. Come on now, come on now.
27:13 So again, our whole purpose in this whole process is that
27:16 we wanting you to get excited about this.
27:18 Again, it's just not getting excited
27:20 watching our program here, we want you to get excited.
27:24 So as you can go and share it with your family,
27:26 share it with your friends, share it with your coworkers,
27:29 share it with your children,
27:30 whoever you come in contact with,
27:33 you can be a light of life.
27:35 Come on now, light of life. A light of life.
27:37 That sounds good, doesn't it? I like that.
27:38 Come on now. So, Chef Chew.
27:40 I mean, man, you ain't Chef Chew.
27:41 I keep forgetting that.
27:42 Listen, listen man, listen, listen,
27:44 let's take a pause and let's do this.
27:45 Go ahead now. I'm gonna tell you one time.
27:47 All right. I'm Chef Law.
27:48 You're Chef Law, all right. You're Chef Chew.
27:49 That's right, okay. And that's what we're gonna do.
27:51 That's what we're gonna do... All right.
27:52 So let's do it properly.
27:53 Let's do it properly, man, all right.
27:55 You start off. So my name is Chef Chew.
27:56 And my name is Chef Law.
27:58 And as we always say,
27:59 "Gonna give you something to chew on."
