00:20 Here to answer these important questions 00:22 is our host, John Carter. 00:29 "Did Jesus speak about the spirit of lawlessness 00:32 that would spread across the world?" 00:35 Yes, He did, 00:37 and the operative word is lawlessness. 00:40 Let me read you a text that's taken here 00:43 out of Matthew 24:11-13. 00:49 "Then many false prophets will rise up 00:51 and deceive many. 00:54 And because lawlessness will abound." 00:57 The operative word, did you get it? 00:59 Lawlessness. 01:01 "Because lawlessness will abound, 01:03 the love of many," or the Greek says, 01:05 "The love of the most will grow cold. 01:08 But he who endures to the end shall be saved." 01:14 So the Bible talks, my friend, about a spirit of lawlessness. 01:19 We're talking here 01:21 about a hatred of the law of God. 01:25 The Bible says, "In the last days, 01:27 there will arise this finish spirit of lawlessness, 01:32 where so many people, 01:33 even preachers will hate the law of God." 01:39 Now, a certain famous man in America 01:42 helped this movement of lawlessness along 01:46 when he said, 01:48 "Marriage is no longer just between a man and a woman." 01:52 What he did, my friend, 01:54 he overthrew at least 6,000 years 01:58 of culture, tradition, 02:01 law, and truth. 02:04 What he did? 02:06 He poked his finger into the dam, 02:11 and the water started to come out. 02:14 And the water of lawlessness 02:16 has been flooding out ever since 02:20 and today, anything is permissible. 02:24 And they're teaching this stuff to our little children 02:27 and our grandchildren in the schools. 02:30 You're a boy, 02:32 "Hey you may really be a little girl." 02:35 And the little boy says, "Mommy, am I a boy?" 02:39 "Well, I don't know if you're really a boy or not. 02:42 We'll have to wait until you grow up. 02:44 And then when you grow up, 02:46 we're going to make a decision 02:47 to see whether you're a boy or a girl." 02:51 We're teaching this stuff in the schools. 02:54 This is a spirit of lawlessness 02:59 and rebellion against God. 03:03 It is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. 03:06 Jesus predicted it. 03:10 "Do you ever feel for your safety 03:12 in this lawless age?" 03:16 Not especially. 03:19 I think of my old Bible teacher at Avondale College, 03:23 many years ago 03:25 before most of you folks were even born. 03:27 His name was Nelson Burns. 03:29 And he said, "You are immortal in this life and in this world 03:35 until your work on earth is done." 03:37 Did you get this? 03:39 You are immortal 03:40 until your work on earth is done. 03:43 We read in the scriptures about Jesus, 03:45 His time had not yet come, 03:47 His time had not yet come, 03:49 His time had not yet come. 03:52 Nothing can touch you until your time has come. 03:56 I've been to some pretty dangerous prices. 03:59 I've been to Africa, 04:00 the most dangerous continent on the face of the earth. 04:04 I've run campaigns in Johannesburg, 04:06 one of the most dangerous cities in the world. 04:10 I run a campaign in Port Moresby, PNG, 04:13 one of the most dangerous cities in the world. 04:15 I've been to Russia, been to Ukraine, 04:18 been to India, been to Latin America. 04:22 I've been to places where there are gangs. 04:25 Yeah, I've been to places that are gang infested, 04:28 but I never felt afraid 04:30 because I'm immortal 04:32 until my work on earth is done. 04:34 This means nothing can touch me. 04:37 Nothing can touch you 04:39 while your life is in the hands of God. 04:41 No, I'm not afraid of lawless men. 04:45 What I'm afraid of is that somehow 04:48 I will compromise my faith 04:50 and I will stop preaching the Word of God. 04:52 Once I do this, my friend, 04:55 God will take His Spirit from me. 04:57 But by the grace of God, I plan to keep on, 05:00 keeping on, keeping on, keeping on. 05:03 So help me, God. 05:07 "What does Jesus mean when He talks about 05:10 the abomination of desolation?" 05:16 I hope I can answer it, Wayne, to your satisfaction. 05:20 Let me read you Matthew 24:15-16, 05:25 The New King James Version, listen up. 05:30 "Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, 05:36 spoken of by Daniel the prophet, 05:39 stand in the holy place, 05:42 whoever reads let him understand. 05:45 Then let those who are in Judea flee 05:48 to the mountains." 05:50 Do you want to hear a bit of history? 05:53 In 66 AD, you know what AD means, don't you? 05:57 Anno Domini, in year of our Lord, 06:01 the atheists, and the skeptics, and the critics, 06:04 and the communists are trying to do away with BC and AD 06:09 because they're so intolerant. 06:12 Anno Domini, 06:14 66 in the year of our Lord, 06:19 the Jewish people revolted against the Romans. 06:23 And so the Roman sent down 06:24 one of their leading generals from Assyria. 06:27 He was a gentleman, no gentleman really. 06:30 He was a Roman patriot by the name of Cestius Gallus. 06:36 He brought his armies around Jerusalem, 06:40 and his armies stood in the holy place. 06:44 The armies of the Romans 06:45 were the abomination of desolation. 06:49 And when Jesus spoke about this, 06:51 He was seeing into the future, 06:52 and He was talking about the coming of the Roman armies 06:57 that would come against the people of God. 07:02 It's going to happen again, my friend. 07:04 It's going to happen again. 07:08 "When does the Great Tribulation 07:10 take place? 07:11 Most of us have been taught, it happens after the rapture." 07:17 Well, my dear friend, it's not what most of us 07:19 have been taught that counts. 07:22 What happens is what is taught in the Holy Scriptures. 07:27 I don't want to be preaching false doctrine. 07:31 I don't want to be preaching a wrong interpretation 07:35 of Bible prophecy. 07:37 The greatest need for people today is to smarten up, 07:42 by getting a knowledge of the Scripture 07:45 and not being brainwashed 07:47 by phony-false prophets. 07:51 Let me read you a text on the Great Tribulation. 07:56 Matthew 24:20-22, 08:00 "And pray that your flight will not be in winter 08:03 or on the Sabbath." 08:05 Hey! 08:06 Apparently, 08:07 the Sabbath is going to have some significance 08:10 in the last days. 08:12 "Pray that your flight won't be in the winter 08:14 or on the Sabbath. 08:16 For then there will be Great Tribulation, 08:20 such as has not been since the beginning of the world 08:23 until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 08:27 And unless those days were shortened, 08:30 no flesh would be saved, 08:33 but for the sake of the elect, 08:37 those days will be shortened." 08:39 Who on earth are the elect? 08:41 The elect are the people of God. 08:45 The Bible says that this time of tribulation 08:49 is going to be so bad. 08:52 It's going to be so intense 08:54 that if God did not shorten those days, 08:57 none of God's Church would survive those days. 08:59 Therefore, God's Church is right on this earth 09:03 during the Great Tribulation, 09:06 which is followed by the Second Coming of Christ. 09:09 I know that most people today, most people 09:11 in the United States of America, 09:14 most Christian people seem to think 09:16 that the tribulation comes after the Second Coming. 09:18 This is because 09:20 they do not believe the words of Christ. 09:24 Now, let me read you something else. 09:28 Matthew 24:28-30. 09:31 Please, listen up. 09:34 Jesus said, "For wherever the carcass is, 09:39 there the eagles will be gathered together." 09:43 The whole world becomes a stinking carcass 09:49 and the eagles come, that's the symbol of judgment. 09:54 Jesus said, 09:55 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days, 10:00 sun will be darkened, 10:01 and the moon will not give its light, 10:03 the stars will fall from heaven, 10:05 and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 10:09 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens, 10:14 and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn. 10:19 They will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven 10:23 with power and great glory." 10:29 It's just plain as the nose on your face. 10:34 How can people get it so wrong? 10:38 Jesus says 10:39 "They're a great celestial events, 10:42 great signs in the heavens." 10:45 You're going to see it, my friend. 10:48 Jesus says, "The Great Tribulation comes, 10:51 this tremendous tribulation comes." 10:57 And then Jesus says, "After this Great Tribulation, 11:01 the sign of the Son of Man appears in the heavens, 11:04 and we see Christ coming with power and great glory. 11:08 And He comes and He takes His people home to glory." 11:11 And so, let me make it plain. 11:15 You're going to have this tremendous tribulation. 11:20 God's people are going to go through that Great Tribulation. 11:22 God doesn't save them from the Great Tribulation. 11:25 He saves them in the midst of the Great Tribulation, 11:28 not from but in the midst of the Great Tribulation. 11:31 So you're going to have this terrible tribulation. 11:34 You're going to have these great celestial signs, 11:38 God's people around the earth, and then Christ comes, 11:41 and He saves His people. 11:43 We are on the winning side. 11:46 This is the good news. 11:50 "Can Satan work miracles?" 11:55 Well, you better believe it. 11:57 Of course, the devil can work miracles. 12:00 The devil is a fallen angel, 12:03 but still he is a mighty powerful 12:07 fallen angel. 12:09 And he works miracles, 12:11 and he's got most people completely mixed up today. 12:14 He's got most people completely deceived. 12:17 Maybe he's got you deceived, my friend. 12:20 And he deceives those people 12:22 that don't believe the truth of the Bible, 12:24 but go according to their own opinions. 12:27 And here's the text, 2 Thessalonians 2:9. 12:30 The coming of the lawless one. 12:32 There it is again. 12:33 The lawless one, the devil hates the law of God. 12:37 The devil hates the Ten Commandments. 12:39 The devil hates the truth about marriage. 12:41 The devil hates the truth about God. 12:44 The devil is the great hater. 12:46 "The coming of the lawless one 12:47 is according to the working of Satan, 12:50 with all power, signs, 12:53 and lying wonders." 12:56 The Bible teaches that Satan, 12:59 who is alive 13:00 and well on planet earth is the great deceiver, 13:05 and the great miracle worker. 13:08 Most people in America at least, 13:10 and I think in Australia, 13:12 most Christians who seems to be seem to think 13:14 that if a miracle happens, God is behind it. 13:16 No. 13:19 A miracle simply proves there is a supernatural force 13:23 that is working, 13:25 and the devil can work miracles. 13:26 You and I better smarten up. 13:30 "Who is the man of sin 13:32 that is described by Paul the Apostle?" 13:37 Wayne, you asked me this pertinent, 13:40 soul searching strong question. 13:43 Who is the man of sin? 13:46 Well, of course, he is the man of lawlessness. 13:48 When you see this lawlessness today in America, 13:52 on the streets of America, 13:54 when you hear preachers preaching 13:56 that the law God is abolished. 14:00 When you see the United States Supreme Court 14:02 doing away with the law of God, 14:04 you know, 14:05 it is the spirit of lawlessness. 14:09 And the lawless one, 14:11 when you go back to basics is Satan, 14:15 and Lucifer. 14:17 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, would you listen up? 14:23 "The coming of the lawless one 14:25 is according to the working of Satan, 14:28 with all power, signs, and lying wonders." 14:30 People say, "Oh, when you've got power and signs, 14:33 that shows God is in it." 14:34 No, it doesn't, maybe the devil. 14:37 "And with all unrighteous 14:39 deception among those who perish, 14:41 because they did not receive the love of the truth, 14:44 that they might be saved. 14:50 For this reason, 14:52 God will send them strong delusion, 14:56 that they should believe the lie, 15:00 that they all may be condemned 15:02 who did not believe the truth 15:06 but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 15:09 Now, the great deception 15:11 is going to be over truth. 15:16 There's going to be lots of miracles. 15:18 There's going to be lots of signs. 15:20 Going to be lots of wonders, 15:22 and billions of people are going to say, 15:24 "This is Jesus." 15:26 It's not Jesus at all. 15:27 It's Satan. 15:30 How can you tell the difference? 15:32 By getting to know Jesus and by reading your Bibles 15:37 and by keeping the commandments of God 15:39 and by following the truth, my friend. 15:43 This prophecy is already being fulfilled 15:47 and millions of people are going to be... 15:51 They're being deceived right now. 15:56 "Can you give us examples in history 15:58 of people believing the lies 16:00 told by this super liar?" 16:05 Boy, bless your heart. 16:06 We've seen a few of those, have we not? 16:09 You go back not that long ago, back to the days of Hitler. 16:14 Now, the Germans are very smart people. 16:17 They're intelligent. 16:19 They're sophisticated. 16:20 They're educated. 16:22 They gave us Einstein, 16:23 who gave us the theory of relativity, 16:26 E=MC2. 16:28 So the Germans are smart and 95% of the German, 16:33 some say more than 95%, 16:35 but 95% of the Germans shouted Sieg Heil, 16:41 and they bowed down before Hitler. 16:44 And they caused the deaths 16:45 of 18 million people around the world. 16:48 They butchered the Jews by the millions. 16:52 It's a bit scary, isn't it? 16:55 The smart Christian people, 16:57 they were mainly Lutherans and Roman Catholics 16:59 and other Protestants as well. 17:04 They believed lies. 17:08 So how can we be saved? 17:10 By being smart and by following Christ 17:15 and thinking for ourselves, 17:18 and by studying the scriptures, 17:20 and by refusing to be brainwashed 17:24 by the corrupt media. 17:27 You're listening. 17:31 "What is truth? 17:32 Can we all have our own truth?" 17:36 Oh, so sorry. 17:37 No, you can't have your own truth, 17:40 Wayne, and my distinguished audience. 17:44 Truth is not subjective. 17:46 I don't have my own private truth. 17:50 The earth goes around the sun. 17:54 That's not my truth. 17:57 The earth is a sphere. 18:00 That's not my opinion, that's not my truth. 18:04 Marriage is between a man and a woman, 18:08 that's the truth. 18:10 The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. 18:14 That's not my opinion. 18:16 That is the truth. 18:19 Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 18:22 He is the Savior of the world. 18:24 That is not my opinion. 18:27 That is not my private truth. 18:30 Truth is not... 18:32 I was watching a program in Australia, 18:35 and it was on the ABC and the commentator said, 18:40 "Can I have your truth?" 18:42 The lady said, "Yes, I'm happy to share my truth." 18:44 I thought, "What stupidity? 18:48 There's no such thing as private truth." 18:53 Now, it is also truth that God loves people. 18:56 God loves you. 18:58 And Jesus said, "Sanctify them by the truth, 19:02 your word is the truth." 19:04 If you want ultimate truth about ultimate reality, 19:09 you get it here in the Word of God. 19:11 When did you last read it, my friend? 19:13 We need to be reading our Bibles every day. 19:16 We need to smarten up and understand 19:20 the truth. 19:23 "What is the mark of the beast?" 19:28 "What is the mark of the beast?" 19:30 My friend Wayne says. 19:32 Would you like to have an answer? 19:36 Well, let me read to you from the apocalypse 19:39 that you all know is the Book of Revelation. 19:42 This is out of the New KJV. 19:47 Revelation 13:16-17, 19:51 "He causes all, both small and great, 19:53 rich and poor, free and slave, 19:55 to receive a mark on their right hand, 19:59 or on their forehead, 20:02 and that no one may buy or sell except one 20:06 who has the mark or the name of the beast 20:09 or the number of his name." 20:13 I don't have a lot of time to talk about this, 20:16 but let me try to summarize it. 20:19 In the last days, I've studied this prophecies 20:22 and I believe I understand these prophecies. 20:28 And we can see these prophecies coming to pass. 20:32 The Bible indicates, 20:33 there's going to come an unholy alliance 20:36 and unholy marriage 20:39 between church and state, 20:42 starting we believe 20:44 in the United States of America. 20:46 It'll be what is called a theocracy 20:49 where people think they're going to put 20:51 God in charge of everything, 20:53 when in fact they're putting the devil 20:55 in charge of everything. 20:58 And then conditions in this world 21:00 are going to get so bad. 21:03 Crime is going to get so bad. 21:05 Violence is going to get so bad. 21:07 Natural disasters are going to get so bad. 21:10 Wars are going to get so bad. 21:13 The risk of annihilation is going to get so bad. 21:17 People are going to say in their desperation, 21:20 "These things are happening to us 21:22 because we've turned away from God. 21:24 We've got to get back to God." 21:27 And then they're going to say, 21:28 "We're going to have our own laws. 21:33 Really, they're going to be God's laws, 21:35 but we're going to enforce this certain mark." 21:41 Now, I don't have time today to talk about this mark, 21:45 this identifying mark. 21:47 People are going to get it in their foreheads 21:49 because they choose it. 21:51 Another people are going to get it in their hands 21:53 because they just go along with the crowd. 21:56 Do you know what I'm talking about? 21:58 That means they just go along with the crowd. 22:01 They get all their information off the media, 22:03 through the medium, 22:05 which no longer is giving objective truth 22:07 but simply giving opinions and propaganda. 22:11 Did you know this? 22:13 Most of the media today is simply giving propaganda 22:18 and falsifications, 22:20 not even trying to tell the truth. 22:23 And so this mark is going to be enforced. 22:27 And most people are going to do what they did in Germany 22:32 during the time of Hitler. 22:34 They're just going to go along to get along. 22:37 You hear this, 22:39 they're just going to go along to get along. 22:42 They're going to compromise. 22:45 Mediocre people will do mediocre things. 22:49 They want to stay in with the crowd. 22:52 They have the herd mentality. 22:54 They go with the crowd. 22:56 They don't think for themselves. 23:02 All they think about is their own security, 23:06 and their own prosperity, 23:09 and their own well-being, and their own bank accounts. 23:14 And that's why it says, "Unless you get this thing, this mark, 23:18 you won't be allowed to buy or sell." 23:20 And the vast majority of people are going to say, 23:22 "Well, whatever affects my bank account 23:25 or my income or my wealth 23:29 that's the thing that counts to me. 23:31 I'll do it." 23:34 And when people sell their souls for money, 23:40 when they break the law of God for popularity, 23:46 when they go along with the decree of the church 23:48 instead of the commandments of God, 23:51 then, my friend, they get the mark of the beast. 23:56 And people are ready to receive the mark of the beast right now 24:02 because they are prepared 24:03 to follow tradition and miracles, 24:06 and dreams and false prophets 24:10 and false politicians also, 24:14 instead of Jesus who said, "I am the Way, 24:18 the Truth and the Life." 24:20 My friend, these are serious times. 24:23 You and I better wake up. 24:24 We better get smart. 24:25 We better follow Jesus and get the seal of God. 24:29 What do you think? 24:32 "Is there any good news in the prophecies?" 24:37 Yes, there's plenty of good news 24:38 in the prophecies. 24:40 The good news is that God is going to have a people. 24:44 God is going to have a people in the last days. 24:46 They won't bend. 24:48 They won't bow. 24:50 They won't budge like the three Hebrews 24:53 on the plain of Dura back in the days of Babylon. 24:56 He's going to have people who got fire in their bellies 24:59 and Christ in their hearts. 25:04 Stubborn people. 25:06 You say, "Well, stubbornness is wrong." 25:07 No, no, no, 25:08 stubbornness for the cause of Christ is good. 25:13 God is going to have a people, 25:15 and then Christ is going to come. 25:19 Listen, Revelation 19, 25:22 "Now, I saw heaven open and behold, 25:24 a white horse. 25:25 And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, 25:28 in righteousness He judges and makes war. 25:31 His eyes were like a flame of fire, 25:33 on his head were many crowns. 25:35 Had a name written that one, no one knew except Himself. 25:39 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, 25:42 and His name is called The Word of God." 25:46 It's Jesus. 25:48 "The armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, 25:51 white and clean, 25:53 followed Him on white horses." 25:56 This is a symbolic apocalyptic picture 26:01 of the return of the King. 26:05 The good news is this. 26:07 Are you still listening? 26:08 The good news is this. 26:10 Christ is going to come. 26:13 The birth pains are going to give birth 26:16 to a new creation, a new world, 26:19 no pain, no sickness, no death, no disease. 26:25 Christ is coming. 26:28 The King is coming. 26:32 That is the good news. 26:34 What should we do?
