00:04 In Havana, Cuba. 00:07 Now in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. 00:10 I'm John Carter in Petra. 00:13 Right here in Communist China. 00:16 Reporting from India. 00:18 Hi, I'm John Carter in the Solomon Islands. 00:21 I'm John Carter in Soweto. 00:24 From El Salvador. 00:26 I'm John Carter in Sydney, Australia. 00:29 In this program, John Carter proclaims, 00:32 nothing shall be impossible for you. 00:37 Hi, friend, I'm John Carter, welcome back. 00:39 This is a tremendous program, 00:41 we're talking about the great power of God. 00:43 And our text is from the words of Jesus, 00:46 "Nothing shall be impossible for you." 00:49 I want you to say it over and over and over again, 00:53 nothing shall be impossible for you. 00:57 We're talking about the great gospel campaigns 01:00 that we have seen where the power of God 01:02 has been manifested 01:04 with a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Spirit. 01:07 We're talking about campaigns across Russia and Ukraine. 01:12 Now you need to see the first part of the program. 01:15 This is part two. 01:16 And so I urge you, 01:18 make sure you get and see the first part of the program. 01:21 We're dealing with the years now 1993-2005. 01:28 And we saw tremendous campaigns 01:31 conducted in some of the great cities 01:33 of the world, such as St. Petersburg. 01:37 What a city, St. Petersburg. 01:39 This was the great auditorium, tremendous place, 01:43 packed to the doors, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, 01:47 once upon a time it was called Stalingrad 01:50 after the Great Dictator Volgograd. 01:53 Kazan. 01:55 Well, we saw the power of God in Kazan. 01:59 Here is the great Muslim mosque. 02:02 And here Muslims are being baptized 02:05 into the Lord Jesus Christ. 02:08 You say, "It's impossible." 02:10 No, my friend, God is a big God 02:13 and God is the God of the impossible situation. 02:18 Kazan, Irkutsk, Kiev, Odessa, 02:24 these wonderful places, 02:26 Kharkiv and distant places in Siberia, 02:30 where people were hungry for God. 02:34 I've never seen so much hunger, 02:36 where people were so hungry for God. 02:39 You see, their minds had not been destroyed 02:43 by the Hollywood people, by the television programs. 02:48 You say, "What are you talking about?" 02:50 I'm saying, 02:52 "Here in the United States of America, 02:53 we have become brainwashed." 02:55 But these people 02:56 had a different sort of brainwashing, 02:58 but it hadn't destroyed their minds. 03:01 And because God had been taken out of their lives, 03:04 they had this tremendous hunger for God. 03:07 The great Roman Catholic theologian, 03:10 St. Augustine said these words, 03:13 tremendous words. 03:14 Saint Augustine said, "Our souls were made for God. 03:20 They cannot rest until they rest in Him." 03:23 Inside every human heart, my friend, 03:26 there is an emptiness 03:28 and only God can fill that emptiness. 03:31 And these people were hungry for God. 03:33 Let me tell you, just for a minute 03:35 about the great Kiev campaign. 03:37 I got so much to tell you today. 03:38 So many amazing miracles. 03:41 The prelate, 03:42 this man who was like the pope for that area, said, 03:45 "Carter will preach here only over my dead body." 03:50 That's what he said. 03:52 And so we were in somewhat of a crisis, 03:55 will we go, will we stay, what are we going to do? 03:59 We decided by the grace of God, we will go because with God, 04:02 nothing shall be impossible. 04:04 I say this to the glory of God, 04:06 I don't want you to misunderstand me. 04:08 But just before the campaign was due to start, 04:11 this powerful prelate dropped dead. 04:16 He was buried on the sidewalk, almost civil war broke out, 04:21 the priests went out with the crosses, 04:23 and they were met by the militia with guns. 04:25 Blood flowed in the streets, 04:27 just before we started those meetings. 04:29 And those meetings had the holy anointing 04:35 for the opening meeting that was held 04:37 in the great Palace of Sport, 04:40 this humongous magnificent theater, 04:43 but outside for the opening meeting, 04:46 there was a crowd of 100,000 people 04:50 who wanted to get in who were crying out, 04:52 "We waited 70 years for Jesus. 04:54 Well, somebody let us in." 04:56 We couldn't let them in 04:57 because there wasn't enough room. 04:59 Inside the place was packed. 05:01 Day after day, hour after hour, 05:04 by people who are hungry for God. 05:06 Our souls were made for God. 05:09 They cannot rest until they rest in Him. 05:11 And, my friend, your soul will never be filled with peace 05:14 until you give your life to Christ. 05:17 I want you to know, with God, nothing shall be impossible. 05:22 And then the persecution broke out. 05:24 Every time God works, the devil starts to work also, 05:28 I want you to hear what I'm saying here today. 05:32 The government, the local government said 05:34 close down the meetings, even though we had a permit. 05:37 We said, "We're not going to close down the meeting." 05:38 So I don't have time to tell you 05:40 about the tremendous battle that went on. 05:44 But by the grace of God, by the power of God, 05:47 by the power of God alone, the meetings continued on. 05:51 With thousands, tens of thousands of people, 05:54 atheists, and communists, 05:56 and even members of the feared KGB 05:59 as it was called coming to Christ, 06:03 because with God, nothing shall be impossible. 06:08 We felt the power of God in the meetings, 06:10 I testify it today 06:12 that I have felt the power of God. 06:15 Before I get up to preach, 06:16 I would be feeling completely fatigued 06:18 because of the tremendous workload. 06:22 But as I would walk out, 06:23 I would feel the holy anointing of God upon me. 06:29 Jesus said, "If you've got faith 06:31 as small as a mustard seed, 06:33 with God nothing shall be impossible." 06:36 Listen, we are called for this hour. 06:40 We are called as it says, in the Bible, 06:42 for such a time as this, we saw God's glory. 06:46 The power of darkness was outgunned 06:50 by the power of the Word of God. 06:52 Why are we so afraid? Why are we so timid? 06:55 Why do we have so little faith when we serve an almighty God? 07:01 Remember, nothing shall be impossible. 07:05 And we say today these words, Glory be to the Father, 07:09 glory be to the Son, 07:11 and glory be to the Holy Spirit. 07:14 We say, it is not all about us. 07:17 No, no, no, we have seen the power of God. 07:20 In the Philippines on death row. 07:23 We've seen the power of God around the world. 07:27 And if the power of God is not being manifested 07:30 in your church, my brother, my sister, it is not God. 07:33 It is, think about it. 07:36 But certainly, it is not God. 07:39 Remember, it is not about us. 07:41 It is about Christ. 07:44 Let me talk about the years from 2006-2020. 07:50 What we saw, 07:53 I can never get these thoughts out of my mind. 07:56 My mind, the minds of my dear ones 07:59 who came with me, 08:00 our minds are consumed with these thoughts. 08:03 When we went to India, land of 1.3 billion people, 08:10 that's four times bigger, I think, 08:12 than the United States of American population. 08:15 And a land of millions and millions of Gods. 08:20 And we went there in the name of Jesus, 08:25 fighting great opposition. 08:29 We had an audience that was composed of Muslims, 08:33 and Hindus, and secular people. 08:38 People say, "That doesn't happen anymore." 08:40 Hey, may not happen to you, my friend, 08:43 but it is happening where the presence of God is. 08:47 I can remember one night having an altar call 08:49 in this great football stadium outdoors. 08:53 And the people came forward 08:55 by the thousands and the thousands. 08:58 As they pressed forward to give their lives to Christ, 09:03 I could feel the Spirit of God in the meetings, 09:05 I could feel the holy anointing of God, 09:09 as Muslims and Hindus came forward 09:12 by the tens of the thousands. 09:15 Would you look at the screen? 09:17 This is not fiction. 09:18 We are showing you the very, very truth. 09:21 We are talking about the power of God. 09:25 Let me take you down to El Salvador. 09:29 It's a country that's torn in pieces. 09:31 By the grace of God was Pastor Pacheco, 09:33 a great man of faith, a visionary. 09:36 He's a church leader who actually believes. 09:39 And he said, "What we ought to do 09:41 is hire the National Football Stadium." 09:43 Here it is, it's a big place. 09:45 Many people said, "This is insanity. 09:47 It's not going to happen. It's not going to work. 09:51 It's never happened before." 09:53 You've met people like this. 09:54 I know these people who are standing 09:56 in the way of God 09:58 and sometimes calling themselves leaders. 10:02 But by the grace of God, we moved ahead in faith 10:05 because with God, nothing is impossible. 10:08 Pastor Pacheco and his team hired 763 buses. 10:14 I didn't know there are that many buses 10:16 in all of El Salvador. 10:17 Seven hundred and sixty three buses 10:20 to bring the people 10:21 from across the great country of El Salvador. 10:24 And I knew every person who was on the bus, 10:26 his town, his street, everything about him, 10:29 his spiritual condition. 10:32 And we saw there in one day, 10:34 thousands and thousands 10:36 and thousands of people baptized. 10:38 At the close of this program, 10:39 we're going to show you a video of it. 10:41 It almost takes your breath away. 10:44 You say, we're living today in the power 10:48 in the day of God's mighty power. 10:51 Now, so the glory goes to God. 10:55 Let me tell you this. 10:57 The Carter Report has always had a small team. 11:01 Hey, you know, we've got up. 11:03 No, no, we've always had a small team. 11:05 This is the team that went to Moscow in 1991. 11:09 Just a little team. 11:12 But we don't, we might be a little team 11:15 but we don't serve a little God. 11:17 And let me tell every skeptic this, 11:19 I would rather be a part of a small ministry 11:22 that is doing great things for God 11:25 than be the leader of a great ministry 11:27 that is doing small things for God. 11:32 Because the power of God is magnified in weakness. 11:37 The Pirainos, a part of my team, 11:41 and other folks that I want to, 11:43 I want to put them up on the screen, 11:45 I want you to see some of these people, 11:46 Pastor Harold Harker in Australia. 11:49 A warhorse, a fighter for God. 11:52 I've seen him out in the freezing snow 11:55 with a hammer, working. 11:57 People say, "Who puts up the great screens? 12:00 Who builds the great stage?" 12:02 Our team does. 12:04 You know why many people don't believe in evangelism? 12:06 I'm going to tell you 12:08 why people really don't believe in evangelism. 12:10 It's because it's hard work. 12:13 It's not like sitting behind a beautiful desk 12:15 on a nicely padded chair, 12:18 and mouthing religious platitudes. 12:20 No, it's hard work. 12:22 It's out in the snow. 12:24 It's working in the snow. 12:26 Norman Matiko. 12:29 Also, Paul Mickelson who was a part for many years 12:33 of the Billy Graham crusade. 12:35 You've heard of Paul Mickelson, the great organist, 12:38 who came with us to Russia and Ukraine, and said, 12:41 "I've never seen anything like this. 12:43 I've seen the power of God." 12:45 And my team today, 12:48 Beverley on these great campaigns, 12:51 Terrence who puts the pictures through, 12:53 David who is in charge of our work in India. 12:56 MK. Don, and who does the sound? 13:00 These people, I'm telling you, folks, 13:02 these people are just the salt of the earth 13:06 and I don't have time to talk too much about us. 13:11 Today, I want to talk about Him. 13:14 We are a small team, but with a big God, 13:18 and a great bunch of marvelous volunteers. 13:22 I want to say not the biggest, just the best in the world. 13:27 The best in the world. 13:28 Yes, because we have God and with God, 13:33 listen to me, nothing is impossible 13:36 if you've got faith like a little grain, 13:40 like a mustard seed. 13:42 You say, "Well, nothing happens to me." 13:43 Well, your faith is even smaller than 13:45 a mustard seed. 13:46 If you've got faith, tiny faith, 13:48 because it's in a mighty God, God can do mighty things. 13:52 Then I think of Port Moresby. 13:55 Goodness me. 13:57 Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea. 14:00 One night, by the grace of God we had in those meetings, 14:04 I'm telling you the truth. 14:06 We had in those meetings. 14:08 We had at least 170,000 people. 14:13 Can you hear me? 14:15 And maybe more 14:16 because other people were meeting in another stadium 14:19 where they couldn't see the pictures, 14:21 but they could hear the Word of God. 14:26 We had supernatural visitation. 14:30 God sent a great white dove one night. 14:34 Supernatural, people said, "You really believe this?" 14:36 Of course I believe it. 14:38 Those people believed it. 14:40 If a miracle is not happening in your life, my friend, 14:43 it's because there's something wrong. 14:46 We believe in the God who believes in us. 14:52 Then we had a tremendous, tremendous baptism 14:55 out in the sea in this part of the world. 14:59 Thousands of people coming to Christ. 15:04 Thousands of people 15:06 being filled with the Holy Spirit. 15:11 Jesus said, "For this hour I was born. 15:14 For this hour, I came into the world 15:17 to testify to the truth." 15:19 That is true of Christ, 15:20 of course, specially, specifically, 15:24 but it's true of every person who truly believes in Christ, 15:28 we have a moment, we have a destiny. 15:32 As the Bible says, 15:33 "You've come to the kingdom for such a time as this." 15:38 I want to say to you today, 15:39 put your life in the hands of God, 15:41 believe in God, 15:43 believe in the God who believes in you. 15:46 And get away from cold, religious formalism. 15:51 Remember, nothing shall be impossible for you. 15:56 So, as I told you, 15:58 when I started this two-part series, 16:00 we are going to deal with the past. 16:03 Now we're going to deal with today. 16:06 Well, right now 16:07 we're in the midst of a pandemic. 16:10 We don't have any people 16:11 working these television cameras. 16:12 Got four television cameras, no people working them. 16:17 Sort of got them on automatic. 16:18 We don't have a big television crew. 16:20 No, we got a little skeleton crew 16:22 upstairs with David and Don 16:25 and MK and Justin, 16:29 Keith, Jacob. 16:32 Terence is sending the pictures from 100 miles away, 16:35 putting them on the screen. 16:37 By the grace of God, we are still here. 16:40 By the grace of God, because with God, 16:43 all things are possible. 16:45 Right now, now listen to this, because I want your help. 16:48 I need your support 16:50 because money doesn't grow on trees 16:51 I've discovered. 16:52 We broadcast on TV around the world 16:56 including India 16:57 where there's more than a billion souls. 16:59 People say, "Why would you ever want to do that?" 17:01 Because it's more than a billion souls. 17:04 Are we going to forget them? 17:05 So we're broadcasting in Delhi. 17:07 We just started in Delhi, 17:09 then we're on a satellite system 17:12 across India. 17:13 We work with medical groups on 3ABN. 17:20 We send children to places like El Salvador 17:23 to Christian schools, 17:25 by God's grace, not by our grace, 17:27 this is not about us. 17:29 We are children of God. 17:31 But this is all about this great God. 17:34 I say to you have some faith in God, 17:36 believe in the God who believes in you, 17:40 and believe that with God, all things shall be possible. 17:45 We are not afraid of the social unrest. 17:49 Now we know today 17:50 that the world is filled with social unrest. 17:52 America is filled with social unrest. 17:55 America is divided right down the middle. 17:58 But we're not afraid of those things, 18:02 because of God. 18:04 I love those but ticks, you know, but God, but God, 18:07 remember, look at this. 18:09 We have nothing to fear for the future. 18:13 Hey, except we forget the way 18:16 the Lord has led us in the past, 18:18 we have nothing to fear for the future. 18:21 Are we scared of COVID-19? 18:25 No, we're not. 18:27 We're not scared of COVID-19 because God is in charge, 18:31 He's bigger than COVID-19. 18:34 Now we're not doing stupid things either. 18:37 We wear masks. 18:39 We practice social distancing. 18:40 We believe this is a part of the gospel that says, 18:43 "Love your neighbor as yourself. 18:46 People say, "Oh, I don't do any of that stuff." 18:47 Oh, my friend, you need to repent. 18:51 You need to start to love your neighbor. 18:54 You need to put the gospel into practice. 18:57 The gospel is not just about you. 18:59 The gospel is about my neighbor. 19:02 And I'm called to take care of my neighbor. 19:04 Are you listening to me? 19:07 But we're not scared of COVID-19. 19:10 We believe this. 19:12 We have nothing to fear for the future, 19:15 except we forget the way 19:17 the Lord has led us in the past. 19:19 Has He led us in the past? 19:20 Absolutely. 19:22 Are you certain? Absolutely. 19:23 Are you dogmatic? 19:25 Yeah, as dogmatic as I can get. 19:29 We believe that God has led us in the past 19:31 and we do not believe that God is going to lead us 19:34 to a dead end and forget us. 19:38 We want your support. 19:39 Stand with us 19:41 in the greatest work in all the world. 19:45 And what about the futures? 19:46 I've talked about the past, 19:49 talked about the present, the present. 19:52 Now, I'm going to talk about the future. 19:54 And I'm going to read to you 19:55 one of my great, great, great favorite text. 19:58 John 14:1-3. 20:02 I want you to think about it and believe it, 20:03 it's the Word of God. 20:06 Jesus said, "Let not your heart be troubled, 20:09 you believe in God, believe also in Me." 20:13 Hey, my friend, believe, believe. 20:16 "In my Father's house are many mansions," 20:19 hey, do I believe in heaven? 20:20 Absolutely. 20:22 "If it were not so, I would have told you. 20:24 I go to prepare a place for you. 20:26 And if I go and prepare a place for you, 20:28 I will come again." 20:30 The signs are all about us. 20:32 The Lord is coming soon. 20:34 Start to believe the Bible. 20:36 "I will come again and receive you to myself 20:39 that where I am there you may be also 20:41 Therefore I say to you believe in the God who believes in you. 20:46 So here at the Carter Report, we are trusting in Jesus, 20:51 who is the way, the truth and the life. 20:56 Everything revolves around Jesus. 21:00 It's not about us, it's all about Him. 21:05 We say, "To God be the glory, great things He has done." 21:10 Now, this is our latest newsletter. 21:14 Here it is. 21:15 Going to hold it up. 21:17 It's all about 21:19 what I've been talking about today, 21:20 full of pictures. 21:22 If you want a copy of it, 21:23 then you'll need to write to me, 21:24 and we'll send it to you with our compliments, 21:26 with our love. 21:28 P.O. I'm almost home.'" 22:28 Wants you to believe that, my friend. 22:31 We're almost home, hold on, hold on, don't give up. 22:34 Don't give into cynicism and despair. 22:38 Home, almost home. 22:41 So here, dear friend, is my message to you. 22:44 We are almost home, 22:45 that wondrous place will be far better 22:48 than we can imagine. 22:50 No more tears, no more pain, no goodbyes, 22:54 no sickness and no funerals. 22:57 And Jesus will be there. 23:00 The good news, the good news 23:04 is that there is room for you. 23:09 And your admission fee has been paid. 23:14 That's the back page of our newsletter 23:16 that I urge you to write and get. 23:19 There it is, my friend. 23:20 So on the back page here, 23:24 home, well, almost home. 23:29 So when you look at the past, 23:30 when you look at the present, 23:32 when you look at the future, you can say, 23:34 "To God be the glory, great things He has done," 23:38 and with God 23:40 nothing will be impossible for you. 23:46 I want to do something right now. 23:49 I'm going to have a prayer with you 23:51 and I'm going to ask God to bless you. 23:53 Is that okay with you? 23:54 Just want to have a prayer with you. 23:57 O mighty Father God, we thank You 24:00 for the great things You've done for us. 24:02 We thank You for Jesus our Lord, 24:05 who died on the cross to bring us to God. 24:08 We thank You for the good news of the gospel. 24:11 Take away our sinful unbelief 24:14 and help us to believe that if we've got faith 24:16 like a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible. 24:20 Bless these dear people today with Your peace and Your grace. 24:25 We open our hearts today and take Christ into our lives. 24:31 We thank You in Jesus' name, amen. 24:36 So, my friend, 24:39 believe in the God who believes in you. 25:29 You can have all the silver 25:34 You can have all the gold 25:37 Just give me Jesus 25:43 You can have all the wisdom 25:48 This earth can hold 25:51 Just give me Jesus 25:54 Give me Jesus When I'm lonely 25:57 And I've nowhere to go 26:01 Give me Jesus 26:03 He's the only one Who loves me so 26:08 Give me Jesus 26:10 Because Jesus is all I need 26:23 You can have all the spotlights 26:27 You can have all the fame 26:30 Just give me Jesus 26:36 You can have all the success 26:41 Have your well known name 26:44 Just give me Jesus 26:47 Give me Jesus when I'm lonely 26:50 And I have nowhere to go 26:54 Give me Jesus 26:55 He's the only one Who loves me so 27:01 Give me Jesus 27:03 Because Jesus is all I need 27:10 He's my closest friend 27:11 When no seemed to care. 27:17 Hi, friend. 27:18 I'm John Carter overseas, locked up in our hotel. 27:23 Outside in the hallway there are police 27:26 to make sure 27:27 that we don't break this dreadful quarantine 27:31 because of COVID. 27:32 Everything is changed.
