08:08 High time. 08:09 "High time to awake out of sleep, 08:11 for now is our salvation nearer then when we believed. 08:16 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. 08:20 Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, 08:24 and let us put on the armour of light." 08:27 That's taken from the King James Version. 08:30 It's got a ring to it. 08:31 I like it so much. 08:35 These words were said in the first century. 08:40 Things were happening back there 08:42 that led the Apostle Paul to say 08:47 our salvation is closer than when we first believed. 08:52 I want to say this from my heart to yours today. 08:56 If it was true back there, 08:59 it's true a thousand times more today. 09:03 We can see the prophecies being fulfilled. 09:07 Don't you get a sense of this, my friend? 09:10 The prophecies are being fulfilled, 09:13 and it welds up in your heart that the Lord is coming. 09:17 I want to read the text again. 09:20 I want this text to get down into your mind. 09:23 Here's the text written by the great Apostle Paul, 09:26 what a great text. 09:28 "And that knowing the time." 09:29 We're gonna try to do that today, 09:31 know the time. 09:32 "That now it is high time," to do what, 09:36 "to awake out of asleep. 09:38 For now is our salvation nearer than when we believed." 09:43 Can you say amen? I can. 09:46 "The night is far spent, the day is at hand. 09:50 Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, 09:53 and let us put on the armour of light." 09:58 I want to say to you today and this is something 10:02 that is burning in this soul of mine. 10:06 I believe that we are living in the days 10:10 when Jesus is going to come. 10:13 I believe that this is God's tremendous hour. 10:20 What a time during which we are living. 10:23 This is not any ordinary time. 10:25 My brother and my sister, 10:27 in America, Australia, Great Britain, India, 10:31 this is no ordinary time. 10:34 This is God's time, 10:36 and this is God's tremendous hour. 10:41 I believe this that a true understanding 10:43 and a correct understanding of this text at Romans 10:47 will lead us to a new emphasis and life style. 10:53 I don't believe for one moment 10:56 that this is business as usual 11:00 with this great pandemic 11:02 that is tearing the world apart. 11:06 This is not an ordinary period in the history of the world. 11:11 I believe we've come to this tremendous hour. 11:15 I believe we are living in the day of the fulfillment 11:19 of the prophecies of the Bible. 11:22 What does the text say? 11:24 That knowing the time. 11:27 That now it is high time. 11:29 What's the time you say? 11:31 I say to you, it's high time. 11:33 It's high time for what? 11:34 It's high time, my friend, to understand the prophecies. 11:38 I'm gonna put up a text here, and Terrance, my great friend. 11:41 He's working remotely from about 50... 11:44 He's working someplace in Los Angeles 11:47 50, 60 miles away. 11:49 I'm preaching, 11:50 talking away here in an empty studio, 11:53 no camera people. 11:55 And we are doing this 11:56 because we want you to know that we love you 11:58 and God loves you too. 12:00 Look at this text. 12:01 Jesus said, "There'll be great earthquakes." 12:06 You say there is always been earthquakes. 12:08 Going to be more, greater intensity. 12:11 "In various places, and famines." 12:15 You notice the next word. Have a look at that. 12:18 "And pestilences and there'll be fearful sights 12:22 and great signs from heaven." 12:26 If I had time today, and I don't have the time, 12:30 I'd go over to Matthew 24. 12:33 And Jesus spoke about the signs, 12:35 and He gave a little commentary. 12:36 He said, 12:38 "All these things are the beginning of sorrows." 12:43 But the Greek language says, "These are the birth pangs." 12:48 Just as a mother has pains 12:50 that come with ever increasing intensity 12:54 closer and closer. 12:56 Jesus said, "There will be certain signs 12:58 that happen in this world. 13:00 And they'll come 13:01 with a greater increasing intensity. 13:04 They'll become stronger and stronger 13:07 and closer and closer. 13:09 And then the new age of the kingdom of God." 13:14 Don't like using that word. It got such bad connotations. 13:17 The new age of the kingdom of God, 13:19 but it will be. 13:21 It will be the kingdom of God coming in all its glory 13:25 and all its power. 13:28 And Jesus, our Lord, the Son of God said, 13:31 "There are going to be pestilences." 13:37 This coronavirus 13:41 has now infected millions and millions of people, 13:46 innocent people. 13:48 And it is killing tens of thousands. 13:51 Around the world, 13:52 hundreds of thousands are dying. 13:56 This is the virus that came from China, 13:59 from Wuhan. 14:02 Most likely from the wet markets 14:05 as they call them. 14:06 God didn't do it, my friend. 14:09 But this thing now is sweeping around the world. 14:12 Look at Italy. Oh, Lord, have mercy on Italy. 14:16 Look at Great Britain. 14:18 Look at this great land 14:19 of the United States of America, 14:21 where more people have got it 14:22 than any other place in the world. 14:25 If our facts are straight 14:27 and we're not absolutely certain, 14:28 how many have got it in Russia or in China? 14:32 But nevertheless, 14:33 it is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. 14:36 It is a birth pang. 14:40 Then we could talk about climate change. 14:42 Somebody well said to me, 14:43 "Hey, do you really believe in climate change?" 14:48 Well, I've done the math. 14:51 I've done science. 14:52 I've studied the ice core samples 14:56 from Greenland. 14:58 It is a fact that the temperature of the Earth 15:01 is warming up. 15:03 People say, "Hey, it doesn't matter." 15:04 Hula beans. 15:07 Let me tell you, folks, something. 15:09 There is a fine balance of nature. 15:13 And if you study astronomy, 15:15 you will know that everything is balanced 15:17 on the edge of a knife. 15:21 It's so fine, 15:22 sometimes 1 part in 100 trillion. 15:27 And in this earth, 15:29 to keep things going we've got this fine balance. 15:32 In Australia, for instance, 15:34 the temperature has gone up 1.5 degrees Celsius. 15:38 Around the world 15:39 the average temperature is 1 degree 15:42 in the last 100 years or so. 15:44 And that is interfering 15:46 with the fine balance of nature. 15:47 My friend, this is a sign of the coming of the Lord. 15:51 And in Australia, it went up 1.5 degree Celsius. 15:55 I was there a few months ago. 15:58 The place it started to clear out, 16:02 the smoke is starting to clear out, 16:04 but the fires had devastated 16:06 millions and millions of acres 16:10 killing so many animals. 16:14 But what about the people? 16:15 Yeah, killing so many, many people. 16:19 And they fought... 16:20 Firefighters fought with tremendous courage. 16:23 I take my hat off to the firefighters. 16:26 What tremendous courage. 16:28 People said, some people said to me 16:30 when I went to Australia, they said, 16:32 "Global warming, global warming, climate change. 16:35 It didn't start the fires, people started the fires." 16:40 Lightning started the fires. Of course, that is true. 16:45 That is true. 16:47 But once the fires were started because the earth was hotter, 16:51 the fires burned with a greater intensity. 16:56 Some days in Australia, 16:57 the sun was buttered from the heavens, 17:00 the cars had to turn on their lights, 17:02 they had to turn on the street lights. 17:04 It became black as pitch. 17:08 Can you believe it? It is a sign. 17:12 These things were predicted in the Bible. 17:14 In Revelation, it says that when Jesus comes, 17:16 men are going to be destroying the earth. 17:19 Then you've got famines now. 17:21 Oh, my friend, what can I say? 17:24 The famines that are devastating Africa. 17:28 The locusts, 17:31 they were devastating huge areas of Africa. 17:36 Then we thought, well, it's coming down. 17:38 It's gonna be okay. 17:39 But then there came a second wave of locusts. 17:41 Did you hear about this? 17:43 Twenty times worse. 17:46 Twenty times worse than the first plague 17:49 of locusts. 17:51 Jesus said, "There'll be famines, 17:53 there'll be pestilences, 17:55 there'll be earthquakes on a greater intensity 17:59 like the birth pangs." 18:01 And then Jesus said, I read you the text about wars. 18:06 And the world today is arming for the last great battle. 18:10 You know this. 18:12 We've got North Korea, what's changed there? 18:15 Nothing. 18:17 Then we've got other great military powers 18:20 like China 18:21 that has one great aim and that is to rule the world, 18:26 along with Russia. 18:28 These great pals armed to the teeth. 18:34 We have a scenario today that tells us 18:38 that we have come to the greatest hour 18:43 in the history of the human race. 18:46 I want to read you some more words 18:48 from the Bible, the words of Jesus. 18:50 Luke 21:25-28, 18:55 dear hearts and gentle people. 18:57 Jesus said, 18:58 "There'll be signs in the sun, and in the moon, 19:01 and in the stars." 19:05 Then He said, "On the earth distress of nations." 19:08 They distress today. 19:10 "Distress of nations with perplexity." 19:12 What are we gonna do? What are we gonna do? 19:15 "The sea and the waves roaring." 19:20 Tremendous hurricanes, cyclones, 19:24 tornadoes. 19:26 And this is also a picture of the nations 19:28 of the earth roaring. 19:32 "Hearts failing them from fear 19:34 and the expectation of those things 19:36 which are coming on the earth, 19:39 for the powers of a heaven will be shaken. 19:43 Then they will see the Son of Man 19:45 coming in a cloud 19:46 with power and great glory. 19:49 Now when these things begin to happen, 19:51 look up and lift up your heads, 19:53 because your redemption draws near." 19:55 My friend, 19:57 Christ is coming. 20:00 The great prophecies of the Bible 20:01 are being fulfilled. 20:03 What is the hour? 20:06 It's high time the Bible says. 20:10 Now there's another great sign 20:12 that sometimes we don't look at it. 20:15 There are prophecies 20:17 about the coming of the false prophet 20:21 who deceives the world with his lies. 20:25 Now I'm gonna turn over here to this text. 20:28 I'm going to turn to 2 Thessalonians. 20:32 Let me see if I can find it here 20:34 in my Bible in the New Testament, 20:38 2:8. 20:42 Are you ready for this, my friend? 20:45 Here it is. 20:48 2 Thessalonians 2:8, 20:54 "Then the lawless one will be revealed, 20:56 whom the Lord will consume with the breath of his mouth 20:59 and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 21:02 The coming of the lawless one 21:04 is according to the working of Satan, 21:06 with all power, signs, and lying wonders." 21:09 Signs, miracles are not a legitimate test 21:15 of truth of authenticity 21:19 because the devil can do them. 21:21 Hey. 21:22 You say, "No, I don't believe." 21:23 Well, that's what the Bible says. 21:25 Now verse 10 and 11 says, 21:29 "And with all unrighteous deception 21:32 among those who perish, 21:33 because they did not receive the love of the truth, 21:36 that they might be saved. 21:39 And for this reason 21:41 God will send them strong delusion." 21:46 Goodness. Let me read it again. 21:47 "For this reason God will send them 21:49 strong delusion, 21:51 that they should believe the lie." 21:57 One of the great characteristics 22:01 of the last days 22:02 will be teaching lies 22:06 instead of teaching the truth. 22:08 And people are going to be brainwashed. 22:11 They're going to be totally brainwashed 22:14 by super personalities 22:17 who will teach lies with such force 22:20 that they'll say, hallelujah. 22:23 This must be God's talk, must be God talking to us. 22:27 Remember, my friend, let me talk to you close. 22:31 Remember what Hitler did, 22:33 he was the greatest lie of the world has ever seen. 22:35 And he said, "When you tell a lie, 22:37 just don't tell a lie, tell a big lie." 22:40 Make it a huge, make it a vappa. 22:44 Make it a huge lie. 22:46 And he said, "Repeat it over, over, over 22:49 and the people will believe the lie." 22:53 And the Bible says in the last days, 22:55 there comes a power, 22:57 the false prophet, 22:59 and he lies, and he lies, and he lies, 23:02 and the vast majority of human beings, 23:06 even people who go to church will say, 23:08 "This is the power of God." 23:10 Say, "This is the power of God." 23:13 Jesus said, "You know the truth 23:16 and the truth will make you free." 23:18 My friend, I say today, 23:21 God save us from liars and God give us the truth. 23:24 What do you say? 23:28 Back in the days of the Soviet Union, 23:30 they were having a big Council, 23:32 a big committee meeting, they were great for committees, 23:35 having a big committee meeting at the Kremlin. 23:38 Been there so many times. 23:40 And the leader of the party got up 23:42 and announced a big plan. 23:45 And after he got through, everybody said, "Oh, great. 23:48 Yes. Wonderful.
