00:04 In Havana, Cuba. 00:07 Now in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. 00:10 I'm John Carter in Petra. 00:13 Right here in Communist China. 00:16 Reporting from India. 00:18 Hi, I'm John Carter in the Solomon Islands. 00:21 I'm John Carter in Soweto. 00:24 From El Salvador. 00:26 I'm John Carter in Sydney, Australia. 00:30 And now Pastor John Carter 00:32 gives us a look into the future. 00:36 Welcome back. 00:38 Today, we're talking about, "A Look Into the Future." 00:42 We're talking about the time when the devil is bound 00:45 for 1,000 years. 00:47 I want you folks just to have a little look at this 00:50 because this is a summary of the first program. 00:54 And the first program was about 25 minutes 00:56 up to here proving some great truths. 00:58 And this is just a little summary, 01:01 not proving it to you right now. 01:02 The millennium means 1,000 years. 01:06 During that time Satan is bound in the abyssos 01:10 or the bottomless pit. 01:12 The millennium starts 01:13 with the resurrection of the righteous, 01:15 and it closes 01:16 with the resurrection of the wicked. 01:20 And the Bible teaches that the righteous are raised 01:24 when Jesus Christ our Lord returns, okay? 01:29 So we took half an hour to say that 01:31 before we got through that 01:32 right now in about three minutes. 01:34 So we're going to look now at the events 01:36 not at the beginning, but during the millennium. 01:40 Number one, 01:41 the righteous we saw in the last segment, 01:43 the righteous have been taken home to glory. 01:47 The righteous, 01:48 both those who were raised from their tombs, 01:50 and those who are living have been taken home to glory. 01:55 The next point is this that 01:56 the wicked are left on the earth 02:00 because when Jesus comes back in tremendous fire and glory, 02:06 when He takes home the righteous, 02:08 the wicked are destroyed. 02:12 But the Bible says, the rest of the dead 02:14 live not again until the 1,000 years were finished. 02:17 And so all those people outside of Christ, 02:20 who are in their tombs are completely oblivious 02:23 to the greatest event of the history of the world, 02:26 the return of Christ, 02:27 and they sleep on the long sleep of death 02:32 for 1,000 years, until the second resurrection. 02:37 Now here we go. 02:39 Point number, here's the next point. 02:42 This depopulated earth becomes the bottomless pit. 02:49 This earth broken down, 02:52 devoid of human beings completely destroyed 02:58 becomes the abode of Lucifer for 1,000 years. 03:03 Now, would you take your Bibles and come over here with me 03:06 please to Revelation Chapter 16. 03:10 Please, dear hearts, gentle people, 03:13 Revelation 16:18, 20, and 21. 03:17 Revelation 16 verse looking forward 18, 03:22 "And there were noises and thundering and lightnings, 03:26 and there was a great earthquake, 03:28 such a mighty and great earthquake 03:31 has not occurred since men were on the earth." 03:35 And we who live in California, know about earthquakes. 03:39 Now verse 20, and let me see, 03:43 verse 20, and 21. 03:46 "Then every island fled away." 03:48 Can you believe this? 03:49 "Every Island fled away, 03:51 and the mountains were not found." 03:54 The Himalayas disappear, 03:56 "And great hail from heaven fell upon men, 03:59 each hailstone about the weight of a talent." 04:02 That's 100 pounds. 04:04 There's nothing left folks. 04:06 "Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, 04:09 since that plague was exceeding great." 04:11 So the earth is completely 04:14 turned into the bottomless pit. 04:16 Let me say this to you. 04:19 If I understand this subject, 04:23 I shouldn't get my heart too much 04:25 set on the things of this world. 04:28 Here what I'm saying, I'd like to have a nice house, 04:31 nice car, 04:33 but my friends snuck in to save me when Jesus comes. 04:37 The thing that counts is my relationship 04:40 to the Lord Jesus Christ. 04:43 Hear what I'm saying today, 04:44 my relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ. 04:49 And the Bible tells me that Satan and his evil angels 04:53 are cast into the bottomless pit. 04:56 This depopulated planet, depopulated for 1,000 years 05:00 because the wicked are dead on the earth, 05:02 either in their tombs or as corpses we went through 05:06 in the last segment of the program. 05:09 They're all dead on the earth, 05:11 the righteous are home safe with Jesus in glory. 05:16 And Satan is here 05:20 with his angels and no one to tempt. 05:24 And the Bible says he's bound with a mighty chain. 05:28 It is a chain of his own making. 05:33 He forged every link 05:36 as we do without grace. 05:41 And so he's imprisoned like a wild animal. 05:47 And he's got no one to tempt, he's bound. 05:55 So there's no second chance during the millennium. 05:59 People said, "Well, I'm gonna get right with God 06:01 when Jesus comes." 06:03 A little late, my friend, 06:06 no second chance during the millennium, 06:09 or after His Second Coming. 06:11 That's why the Bible says that, listen to me, the Bible says, 06:13 "Now is the time." 06:16 You see, 06:17 the person who plans to repent at the 11th hour, 06:23 invariably dies at 10:55. 06:28 And so the Bible says, "Now is accepted time. 06:31 Now is the day of salvation." 06:32 So if I'm going to be saved, and I'm talking to you, 06:36 and I'm telling to the TV audience, 06:38 the time to come to Christ 06:39 is now because there's mercy and there's forgiveness, 06:43 and there's grace now, 06:46 but don't put it off. 06:49 So we should ask this question 06:51 where will I spend the millennium 06:54 with the saints in glory or with the wicked 06:57 on the earth with Satan. 07:00 Satan is bound by a chain of his own making. 07:02 He has no one to tempt. 07:04 That's why it says he is bound. 07:06 He's bound so that he should deceive the nations 07:09 no more until the 1,000 years are finished. 07:14 What does the unbinding of Satan mean? 07:16 The binding of Satan means that he has had 07:19 the capacity to tempt taken from him. 07:24 But one day he's going to get this tremendous 07:26 and terrible capacity back again. 07:29 You know why he's going to get it back. 07:31 There's going to come a mighty, mighty resurrection 07:37 when the wicked are raised after the 1,000 years. 07:41 Now, the close of the millennium. 07:47 The grand finale. 07:50 This is almost too amazing to believe. 07:52 I believe it. I believe it. 07:54 I believe this is more real than this desk 07:57 or anything else or the television, cameras, 07:58 or anything else. 08:01 At the end of the millennium, 08:04 there is the resurrection 08:06 of the mighty multitude, 08:10 every person outside of Christ. 08:12 Look at Revelation 20:7-8, 08:14 dear hearts and gentle people. 08:16 Revelation 20:7-8. 08:20 "Now when the thousand years have expired, 08:24 Satan will be released from his prison." 08:27 Why? 08:30 Because the wicked had been raised by the billions. 08:35 Then it says, the next verse, verse 8, I believe, 08:40 "And will go out to deceive the nations 08:43 which are in the four corners of the earth, 08:46 Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, 08:51 whose number is as the sand of the seas." 08:56 Ever seen the sand of the seas? 08:59 I've had preachers on television tell me 09:01 that everybody is gonna be saved. 09:05 That's the biggest lie that the devil ever brought out 09:08 of the pit of hell. 09:11 And so at the close of the millennium, 09:15 there is a tremendous resurrection. 09:17 Christ says, "Awake, awake." 09:20 He comes back. 09:22 This is not the Second Coming, this is the third coming. 09:26 And they come forth. 09:28 The Bible says, like the see on the sand, 09:33 the sea on the shore of the ocean, 09:37 billions and billions every person 09:39 who has ever lived. 09:42 Think about that. 09:43 And if we're not in the first resurrection, 09:45 we will certainly be in this resurrection, 09:48 God forbid. 09:51 Every soul who died without Christ. 09:54 Can you understand why I run an evangelistic campaigns 09:57 around the world, even though I'm an old man? 10:01 Thank you for laughing 'cause you can't believe it. 10:05 Listen, I do it because it's a matter of life and death. 10:11 You want to know the main reason 10:12 why we have boring preachers 10:14 is because they don't believe this. 10:16 They believe it's just a comfortable job 10:19 from which you can hardly ever be fired. 10:25 But if you believe this, 10:27 you'll understand it's a matter of life and death. 10:29 If you don't come up in this first resurrection 10:34 with the saints of God, 10:36 you're going to come up in the second resurrection. 10:41 One thing is clear, 10:43 every one of us is going to be raised. 10:48 Goodness me. 10:50 Nero and his mother, 10:55 who taught him to be the monster he was. 10:58 Pilate who washed his hands. 11:01 Herod, Stalin, Hitler. 11:05 I've had people come to me and they say, 11:06 "You can't say these things 11:09 because God's gonna save everybody." 11:11 What a delusion. 11:13 What foolishness? 11:14 Pardon my saying it. 11:16 What's spiritual stupidity? 11:20 The vast numbers Hitler, the Inquisitors, 11:24 ISIS, 11:27 and millions of ordinary sinners. 11:34 When this happens, 11:36 we will have the unbinding of Satan. 11:39 He was bound because he had nobody to tempt. 11:42 Now there is the mighty resurrection 11:45 and Satan is unbound. 11:50 And Satan takes his last stand 11:53 and his final attack upon God and God's people. 11:58 Look at Revelation 21:2 12:01 where it talks about 12:03 the descent of the New Jerusalem, 12:06 the great city of the stars comes down. 12:11 Revelation 21:2, 12:13 "Then I, John, saw the holy city, 12:15 New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, 12:19 prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." 12:23 God has prepared a city of glory for His people, 12:27 and it comes down upon this earth. 12:30 And then in Revelation 20:9, 12:34 we are told that the wicked 12:36 lead by Lucifer come up 12:38 and attack the New Jerusalem. 12:41 Can you believe it? Yes. 12:43 Revelation 20:9. 12:47 "They went up on the breadth of the earth 12:50 and surrounded the camp 12:52 of the saints and the beloved city." 12:57 Leave it there because the rest come soon. 13:00 So you've got a vast host. 13:04 I'm gonna tell you a little bit of private theology. 13:06 Some, most people seem to think 13:08 this is gonna be over in a day. 13:12 We don't know. 13:15 But you're going to have the greatest generals 13:17 of the world ever saw. 13:19 And the prince of darkness, and billions of evil spirits, 13:24 and billions of people who died outside of Christ. 13:29 I believe they will fashion mighty weapons, 13:33 lasers, 13:36 atomic bombs, rockets 13:42 and they will march up to throw God off His throne 13:49 because they hate Him till the last 13:51 and everything He stands for. 13:53 And then the Last Judgment takes place. 13:56 God stops them. He says, "Okay, just stop now." 13:59 Revelation 20:11-13. 14:02 "Then I saw a great white throne 14:05 and Him who sat on it," 14:07 most likely set up on the wall of the great city, 14:12 "from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. 14:14 And there was found no place for them. 14:16 And I saw the dead, small and great, 14:19 standing before God, and books were opened." 14:23 It means there's a record kept of every life. 14:26 People say, "I don't believe it." 14:28 Well, whether you believe it or not, 14:29 doesn't make any difference. 14:31 "The books are opened, and another book was open, 14:34 which is the Book of Life." 14:36 That's the book that contains the names of the people 14:39 who gave their lives at least on one occasion to Christ. 14:43 "And the dead were judged according to their works, 14:47 by the things which are written in the books." 14:49 People say no, no, no there's no record. 14:53 Well, that's what you say. 14:55 Verse 13, "The sea gave up the dead who were in it," 14:59 people who died at sea, 15:00 "and Death and Hades delivered up the dead 15:03 who were in them. 15:04 And they were judged, each according to their works." 15:08 Listen to me. Look at this. 15:11 We are saved by grace through faith. 15:14 We are saved by the blood of Jesus. 15:16 We are not saved by human works, 15:20 but we are judged by works. 15:23 The Bible says it. 15:24 No, no, I don't wanna believe... 15:26 I'm sorry. 15:27 The Bible tells us the books were open, 15:30 and they were judged according to the things 15:33 that they had done. 15:35 You know why? 15:37 Because there's too much talk. Too much talk. 15:40 I'm a Christian, I'm a believer, 15:43 but there are no actions to back it up. 15:47 The works are the fruitage 15:50 of a right relationship with God. 15:53 And where you don't have works of righteousness, 15:56 you don't have a relationship with Christ. 16:00 So the Bible tells us there's a great judgment. 16:03 Do you think of this? I've thought of this. 16:05 I've thought of this. 16:06 It's going to be like a giant television screen. 16:10 Pilate's going to see himself on the screen, 16:12 washing his hands. 16:13 A lot of people have washed their hands of Jesus you know, 16:17 but Pilate's going to meet Jesus. 16:21 Jesus is going to be in the city, 16:22 He's going to be on the throne. 16:25 The man who put off His salvation. 16:29 The man who turned away from Christ, 16:31 the man whose soul, lost his soul, gave it all up. 16:39 A man who lied and cheated and fooled the church 16:44 and his wife and everybody else 16:49 that's written down in the book, all there. 16:52 People say, "I don't believe it." 16:54 This is not grace, it's the truth. 16:59 As John Wesley said, 17:00 one of the greatest evangelical preachers, 17:03 we are saved by grace. 17:08 That is the merit, but evidentially, by works. 17:13 The works are the evidence. 17:17 That's the difference between the true and the phony. 17:23 So this is great judgment. 17:25 I would remind you of this. 17:27 This is amazing. 17:29 Every person who's ever lived 17:31 in the history of the world is going to be there. 17:34 You're gonna be there. I'm gonna be there. 17:35 If we never meet again, my friend, 17:37 we're gonna meet here. 17:39 Every person who's ever been born into this world, 17:42 the billions, that's why I am so opposed 17:45 to this foolish idea 17:47 that teaches that everybody is saved. 17:50 Everybody's gonna go to heaven. 17:53 That's a devil's big lie. 17:55 What's wrong with you? 17:57 How can you believe such nonsense? 18:00 Here we've got a vast multitude. 18:04 They're not going to heaven. 18:06 Every person has ever lived Pilate, 18:08 the Inquisitors in the Dark Ages. 18:12 The good, the bad and the ugly some inside the city 18:15 the righteous inside and the wicked outside. 18:20 So never forget this. 18:23 You're going to be there. 18:27 When I was over in Moscow, 18:29 I went and saw the tombs 18:30 of some of those great monsters 18:35 including the tomb of Stalin, 18:38 Lenin. 18:39 And I said, "We will meet again, won't we? 18:43 We will meet again." 18:45 And then the Bible tells me 18:47 the drama of the ages takes place 18:51 and God turns on the fireworks. 18:54 People say, "No, a God who love wouldn't do this." 18:56 Hey, have a real religion. 19:00 Have a religion. 19:01 That's a blood red religion. 19:03 Why do you think He went to the cross for? 19:05 He went to the cross to save us from the fire of hell. 19:10 Revelation 20:9. 19:16 Revelation 20:9 says, 19:20 "They went up on the breadth of the earth," what? 19:24 What rebels? 19:26 We can still do it, still beat Him, 19:29 "and surrounded the camp of the saints and," 19:32 the saints are inside the city. 19:34 Look at me. 19:35 Either you're gonna be inside the city or outside the city. 19:38 That's the thing. 19:40 That's what you've got to decide 19:42 because everybody's gonna be there either inside or outside. 19:48 "Surrounded the camp of the saints 19:49 and the beloved city. 19:51 And fire came down from God out of heaven 19:54 and devoured them." 19:56 There's a roar from the heavens. 19:59 And verse 15 says, 20:01 "And anyone not found written in the Book of Life 20:06 was cast into the lake of fire." 20:11 So I take all of this very, very seriously. 20:16 I believe it. 20:20 I believe that Christ will come again. 20:23 You know, things may look bad in the world 20:25 and the devil may seem to be achieving what he wants to do. 20:31 But let me tell you something, he's not going to win. 20:35 Neither are his people. 20:38 God is just, and justice cannot sleep forever. 20:43 And Christ will return. 20:47 And God's people will be delivered and taken home 20:52 to glory, and the wicked will meet God in judgment. 20:57 And so as one old American writer wrote, 21:01 we have a heaven to win and a hell to shun. 21:10 Why do you think I'm going to Manila? 21:12 Why do you think I go and run evangelistic campaigns? 21:15 Because I just like doing it. 21:18 You may not realize the opposition we get. 21:22 And the hatred when you start preaching the gospel, 21:25 and you get this opposition from places 21:27 and people you wouldn't dream about. 21:34 You get the opposition and the hatred 21:36 because it is God's work, and we are fighting the devil. 21:42 You better fight him too and make sure 21:43 you're on the right side. 21:46 Because most folks who go to church don't seem to know. 21:52 And then God is going to make a new world for a new people. 21:55 Revelation 21:1, 21:58 "Then I saw a new heaven," it says new, 22:02 "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, 22:06 for the first heaven 22:10 and the first earth had passed away. 22:13 And there were no more seas." 22:14 We understand that. 22:16 So God makes. 22:17 I've got some amazing information on this stuff, 22:20 but I'm not gonna get into it now. 22:23 I'm gonna talk about the expansion 22:25 of the universe and all this stuff, 22:26 but I wanna tell you God's going to make 22:28 a brand new world for a brand new people. 22:35 And there will be peace at last, 22:38 home at last better than you can imagine. 22:42 Let me give you a little summary. 22:45 Oh, there it is. 22:47 Satan bound for 1,000 years. 22:49 The earth becomes the bottomless pit. 22:51 It starts with the first resurrection. 22:54 The resurrection of the righteous 22:56 at the Second Coming. 22:58 The translation of the saints. 22:59 The saints go home to glory, 23:01 the wicked are destroyed and left in this world. 23:04 If you missed it, then get this talk. 23:07 Get it. 23:08 At the end of the millennium there 23:10 is the second resurrection, 23:11 but wicked are raised, the New Jerusalem comes down, 23:15 there is the final judgment, there is the last battle, 23:18 there is the fire, and there is the new world. 23:24 Now here are some questions, perhaps we should ask, 23:30 here they are. 23:32 Where will I spend the millennium, 23:35 with Christ in glory or on the earth with the devil? 23:39 Will I come up in the first or the second resurrection? 23:41 You can fool me. 23:43 You can fool everybody, but you can't fool Him. 23:47 Will I finally be inside or outside the city of God? 23:50 You think of people outside the city 23:53 and they see their loved ones inside the city. 23:55 And they think I could have been inside that city, 23:58 but I didn't do it. 24:00 Let sin keep me at my lying tongue. 24:04 The Bible says no lies in the kingdom of God. 24:09 Will I accept the Lord Jesus as my personal Savior? 24:13 Look at John 6:40. 24:16 These are the words of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24:21 John 6:40. 24:25 "And this is the will of Him who sent Me, 24:28 that everyone who sees the Son 24:31 and believes in Him may have everlasting life, 24:35 and I will raise him up at the last day." 24:36 I must see the Son by the eye of faith, 24:42 and I must believe in Him 24:44 with all my heart and all my soul. 24:49 Revelation 22:14. 24:53 Come with me in Revelation 24:55 22:14. 24:59 This translation says, 25:01 "Blessed are those who do His commandments." 25:03 Other translations say, 25:05 "Blessed are those who wash their robes, 25:08 that they may have the right to the tree of life 25:11 and may enter through the gates into the city." 25:15 What must I do?
