00:05 Welcome back, this is has been a different kind of show.
00:07 We've covered a lot of different things and met some 00:09 young people from Australia. 00:10 People standing up in a real relationship with God, 00:13 and that always excites me because when this 00:15 becomes real to somebody. 00:16 Everything changes. 00:17 It's a whole different story, and so Jonathan I'd 00:20 like you to kind of bring it of up to a close for us. 00:22 You know your family members, you know Gaea and 00:26 where their heart is. 00:27 So I am just going to turn it over to you. 00:29 Sure thing, it has just been an amazing thing seeing 00:32 how God has pulled our family together and brought us 00:36 out, of whatever we were messed up in. 00:38 It's something how He brought us out of it and brought us 00:42 together and then said, look, I didn't just save you. 00:45 I've also exalted, you and 00:47 I want you to do something for Me. 00:49 I'm going to give you the highest calling, 00:50 go out and tell the world. 00:52 You know, what I love about that calling, even it is 00:54 that I could see that He didn't waste, there was nothing wasted 00:58 about where you were is as you stood up, you got a 01:01 feel of what it felt like. 01:02 Even Billy said the girls loved and adored you and 01:07 all that kind of stuff. 01:08 You got a feel of what that feels like, 01:09 wait a minute that's not real. 01:11 So, He says I want to lift you up, I wanted to be 01:14 real for you, this is the real deal. 01:17 That's right. That's right, and it just seems like 01:20 nothing else has ever quenched that thirst that is within me. 01:23 Yeah sure tried so many different things, it seems 01:25 like I look back through my life and realize I've 01:28 bounced from so many different things trying to feel 01:30 like I was worth something. 01:31 Whether was trying to be a talented actor or in the 01:33 music or whether popularity or maybe academic 01:36 kind of stuff like that. 01:39 It doesn't work, it doesn't work doesn't feel that 01:42 something there's still an empty hole there and I want to 01:45 find the satisfaction that my heart is craving for. 01:49 It's really different to me because you know, I used to 01:52 love, cause I was out using all the time and partying. 01:55 I was kind of loud, and now I'm loud, 01:59 but for God and He like be loud. 02:03 Don't be ashamed of who I am and I am not. 02:05 I can walk down the street, I can walk right into a 02:07 bank and if somebody is hurting 02:08 I can sit down and minister to them. 02:10 I don't have any sense of this is not something you are 02:13 supposed to do, because I didn't have any sense in the 02:16 other world, but I definitely don't have any sense. 02:18 When I know it is more real and will bring life to them. 02:21 So I feel like as you stand up that God is doing that 02:24 with you and for you and for your whole family. 02:26 For Billy when he stands up. 02:28 It's like seeing him instead of the girls looking at him 02:32 saying, how cute are you and all that kind of stuff. 02:35 They can look at him as a man of God, 02:37 saying how real is that. 02:39 And they are men of God, and there are people that 02:41 are out there that truly do believe in this. 02:44 And I don't have to lower my standards for the men 02:46 I bring into my life. 02:47 The same with Gaea as men look at you and you are in 02:51 love with God and are standing for Christ, it's like 02:55 people do not have to, any longer, lower their 02:57 standards for a mate, someone to fall in love with. 03:02 As you stand up I'm so proud of you guys, 03:04 How cool is this! 03:06 It is just so special when you see your family 03:09 come to an experience with God and see the 03:12 experience healing in their life. 03:13 For me as a big brother to Billy to be a part of his 03:16 experience, to watch him, as little brother and see 03:20 him in a part of his life where he is just so not happy 03:23 and saying Billy, please I want to show you something. 03:26 And him as a little brother responding to me by saying, 03:30 thanks for sharing what you did. 03:31 Did he respond at first, I mean, was it like 03:34 what are you talking about? 03:35 Yeah, and more blunt terms, yeah. 03:38 Yeah yeah because you know with my family, none in 03:41 my family have turned to Christ, and they're just 03:43 starting, but I've been in recovery since 1979 03:46 for a long time. 03:47 And they are just starting to turn to Christ and my 03:49 heart just feels like I want to dance inside. 03:52 I want to turn around and grab somebody and say do you 03:54 realize that my mom didn't tease me about my 03:57 spirituality for the first time this year. 03:59 And nobody realizes how big that is and 04:01 I'm thinking, that is huge. 04:03 Yeah, that means everything to you. 04:04 It means everything, so as your family gets 04:06 on the same page-exactly because that 04:09 that family part of you that just wants your family 04:13 to be whole and happy, is the same thing that motivates God. 04:16 He sees you as family, He sees you as a child. 04:19 Yeah you see it, and you watch mothers look after 04:23 their children, and see that they'd 04:25 do anything for their child. 04:26 They would put their life on the line for that child. 04:29 Now that makes sense why God sent His Son, because He 04:31 sees us as His children, He sees us as His family. 04:34 And says I want you back. 04:36 I will sacrifice Myself you are my child. 04:39 You know, I realized to when I started studying a 04:42 little bit about Christ coming down, and leaving the 04:45 very throne room of God by coming down. 04:47 It's almost like I see Him almost panicking and grabbing us 04:51 on the face and saying, you know what, somebody has 04:53 lied to you about who God is. 04:54 I want to show you in the flesh, this is who God is. 04:57 And this is how much He loves you, like when Magdalene 05:00 was dragged to His feet, and He just looked at her and 05:02 said, I am not here to condemn you. 05:04 I want you to stand up, I want you not to hurt yourself 05:07 anymore, and she literally looked at His face and 05:10 followed Him the rest of her life. 05:12 It's like seeing that much love, truly this is God? 05:16 And He's like absolutely. 05:18 Absolutely, and so what you are saying the world, and 05:21 definitely this generation, needs to get a view of God 05:25 that says you know your identity is in this guy. 05:28 This guy that is your Father, this guy that says, 05:31 you know what, you are worth everything to Me. 05:34 Somebody looks at the different things of all 05:37 that is going on in different 05:39 planets in heaven and all that kind of stuff. 05:42 They will get everything, God must be busy 05:45 in running the universe. 05:46 Speaking stars into existence, and I said, you know what, 05:49 we are here on this planet lost and He has done 05:53 nothing in the last seven thousand years, or however long, 05:57 but pay attention to us. 05:58 Because we are lost and it kills Him. 06:00 He is not off doing His laundry. 06:03 You know what I mean, it kills Him. 06:05 God doesn't sleep. 06:06 He is constantly looking to find some way to rescue you. 06:10 The great Shepherd that goes looking for His sheep. 06:13 It was the same way with the family here, we didn't go 06:16 looking for God, He came looking for us. 06:18 And He is so resilient, constantly determined to chase 06:22 us down and bring us back. 06:23 To make us feel like we are worth something. 06:25 You know, I want you to look in the camera and talk about 06:30 somebody, and I want somebody in a band, somebody who is 06:33 just beginning to be successful somebody that is just being 06:36 sucked into all that. 06:38 Talk to that person. 06:39 You need to know that God loves you, and that He is so 06:42 passionate about you. 06:44 And that His love for you doesn't compare to anything 06:47 in the world, it is so much greater and why would you 06:51 settle for anything less? 06:53 He wants you back, He wants you back and 06:56 you are a child of His. 06:57 He says please come back and let me be your Father. 07:00 Let me make you feel valuable. 07:03 To a girl that means everything. 07:05 It means that God is saying to you are beautiful, and it 07:09 doesn't matter what anybody else thinks. 07:10 I think you're gorgeous and I think you're amazing. 07:13 And to a guy, it says look I'm proud of you, my son. 07:16 The words that we have been longing to hear. 07:18 He offers us that and says you are secure, you're a 07:21 child and I love you. 07:22 We are at the end of the program, and I just want to 07:25 say, it has been such a blessing for me to meet all 07:28 you guys, and to hear the different way God has 07:30 been working in your life. 07:32 How you have accepted that and stepped 07:34 up to your calling. 07:35 Thanks for joining us! - Thank you! 07:37 When you are watching this program, and you are 07:40 listening to the these young folks talking about God 07:43 finally becoming real to them, and you can see 07:46 that He became real to them. 07:47 They fell in love with Him, in love with Him, and that is the 07:52 relationship that God is so seeking after us. 07:55 I don't what you just to come and do the right thing, 07:57 week after week and show up in church. 07:59 I want you to fall in love with Me, because it's cool. 08:03 Really cool!
